Chef Jim Leiken at Bardessono restaurant, Lucy, was the BEST! Prepared wonderful vegan meals for us every night. Some of the best cuisine we've had. If you go to Lucy, ask for Derrick as your waiter....outstanding young man! This was our 5th trip to Bardessono, we love the dog-friendly atmosphere. The rooms and grounds are five star in every way. My wife and I had massages at their spa by Marci and Georgina.....ask for them! It's not a cheap hotel if that's what you're looking for, but in terms of value for the price, Bardessono delivers!

A world class experience. I enjoyed every minute of my time here. The same attention to small details that earned them Platinum LEED Certificatation can also be seen in the grounds, art, and service.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, had large rooms with a patio, fireplace, and electric shutters, large bathrooms with jacuzzi tub. Had the in room couples massage and we both loved it. Definitely coming back.

The room was very spacious. Nice large shower area with a separate Jacuzzi tub. They have a pool area, but it was a little too cold for a dip. I tested the water and it was nice and warm. The view from the pool deck area was beautiful.
We had an issue with the WiFi and the tv and they sent someone over right away to fix it.
All of the employees are very accommodating.

We did a Sunday night 4 course meal ($45 without the wine pairings), and I must say that it was divine, and unexpected. At fine dining restaurants, I always try to order something outside my comfort zone. My estimation is that a talented chef can find angles on all foods that will connect with even the most skeptical of palettes. But in this situation, I have to admit I was daunted.... I am not a overzealous fan of Tomato, but this mid September Sunday night, we had hit the Tomato-Fest Tomatoville Sunday supper. I admit, I was not thrilled....

...Until the first course came out. Then the 2nd, 3rd, and so on. It was delicious, and the sous-chef outdid herself with a playful, delightful menu that danced across the palette. First course was a Garden Tomato Gazpacho with fried Lucy's pardon peppers that provided the right amount of heat on this stunning late summer dusk. 2nd was an Alaskan Halibut with Lucy's rhubarb-tomato compote, forni brown asian greens - light and perfectly balanced with acidic complexity. 3rd was a Don Watson Milk-fed Lamb, with bacon roasted fingerlings, bloomsdale spinach, and tomato and mushroom reduction. Final course was a Tomato Bread Pudding with a tomato strawberry sorbet. This final dish shocked me.... it was so savory and sweet at the same time! I really enjoyed it.

At these prices, you can't go wrong whether staying at a different property, or staying at Bardessono. What's more, the wine pairings are generous, fitting, with an appropriate splash of creativity and thoughtfulness. I think it might be a necessity to add it alongside the meal. Whatever you do... enjoy yourself, and don't hesitate to order something a la carte so you get to try more of the menu. You won't be slapping your belly, but you will be satiated... a perfect balance of an exceptional meal across the board, on all counts! Thanks!

Breathtakingly lush, modern, and class- Bardesonno tops the lists of memorable accommodations. They great you with a glass of wine and a private tour around the facilities. Our room was by a lavender garden, had a fireplace and an outdoor claw-foot tub. I am longing to be back there now~

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Quite and private rooms on a small beautiful property. Most of the staff knew our names during our three day stay here. Take advantage of the complementary car service offered by the hotel that takes you around town.

We are hotel snobs, but this place was hands down our favorite place we stayed at. The rooms were immaculate, and they kindly upgraded us for our anniversary. The pool and cabanas were a nice escape from our busy lives, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Long over due review for Bardessono. The Concierge, Camille, did an amazing job in helping me plan my engagement weekend (August 2012). I ended up swinging by a week earlier to discuss plans, which included arranging a flower arrangement upon our arrival, wishing my fiance a happy birthday, to arranging the room accents the evening of the proposal with a drawn bath, flower peddles and tea light candles throughout the room, to a couples massage the last day of our stay.

The resort is gorgeous, and intimate, with modern accents. The pool area has awesome day beds for relaxing during the day, and the rooms are well appointed and large. We loved the outdoor shower and spa room.

After our stay, I completed the Bardessono survey, and the General Manager, Jim T. e-mailed me back acknowledging one area of improvement I noted in my survey (with respect to the day of check-out, the valet being backed up) stating that for the price point, services should be flawless. I definitely appreciated his e-mail back and not making excuses for any service flaws.

I would highly recommend the resort for a special weekend getaway, and can't wait to visit again. The location (which I failed to mention), is prime to all the amazing eats of Yountville...a morning stroll to Bouchon for a pastry is unbeatable!

I loved stay here and the 5 star customer service was amazing. They have signature smell, beautiful diplays of art and sulptures. Also, walking distance to bitros, fine resturants and shopping. Sweet!

This place was everything we expected it to be and more. The rooms were simple and modern, perfect for our Napa getaway. What makes this place 5 stars is the service. We were treated like royalty, and that was worth paying the premium. If you can fit it into your budget, I would suggest Bardessono over anywhere else in the Valley.

We just returned from spending a week in Yountville at the Bardessono. The entire staff did a great job of making us fell welcome and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Top notch service from the front desk to the bellman and valets. The rooms are very comfortable and private. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

When I was researching Bardessono I saw they had a 5.0 rating on Google. That sets the bar very high. When someone has a perfect score from every review, you're going to expect perfection. Well, that's what we got. Staff was attentive, knowledgable, and very human. Grounds were beautiful and impeccably taken care of. The room made you seriously consider whether you even wanted to leave it to see Napa. Bardessono is the kind of the place where the hotel IS the destination. High recommended and I look forward to my next stay.

This establishment was beyond what we even expected. It lived up to its name and advertised images online and then some. I will never forget spending our honeymoon there. It was absolutely beautiful, romantic, and perfect.

This is my favorite place in Napa to bring my little toy poodle. The rooms are exquisite and modern; the staff is friendly and approachable. They really roll out the red carpet for the pups; the restaurant even has a dog menu ("Barkdessono").

May 12, 2020

My husband and I booked Bardessono hotel for a week's stay end of May/early June 2020. We chose this hotel after doing our due diligence and researching all upscale hotels in the area. The trip was to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary and would be a huge extravagance for us. When booking, we noted that Bardessono offered a full refund if our cancellation was received with 14 days of our arrival date. Better to be safe than sorry!

Due to travel restrictions imposed because of Covid-19, we had to cancel our trip. We were extremely disappointed, to say the least. I notified Bardessono on April 7th to advise of our cancellation and to this date, still have not received a credit on our card. This amounts close to $11,000.00 Canadian!

Take it from me, you may want to proceed with extreme caution when booking your stay with Bardessono. DO NOT pay 100% of your stay up front! It's times like these that businesses show how they truly treat their clients.

The service and hospitality was truly amazing! The entire staff treated us as a special house guest, not just paying customers. I mean entire staff; valet, housecleaning, bike rack assistant, front desk, room service, concierge, etc. The free water bottle system they have is "green" but also very unique and cool, and after drinking wine for most of the day very necessary. My wife and I truly had an amazing time and this was the best hotel experience we've ever had! The ultimate test..would we stay their again? Yes absolutely!!

In-room spa and stone heated outdoor tub made the room a destination in itself! The roof top pool makes you feel secluded, even though you're in the downtown of Yountville. Bardessono has the most considerate staff, with great connections all over Napa (often getting you complimentary tastings or hard-to-come-by reservations). The restaurant, Lucy, is on par with Bouchon as well.

Bardessono manages to spoil you with over the top service in a smaller package than most luxury hotels.

The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with spacious bathrooms in every room. Order food or a massage right from your tablet.

This trip I tried to get into a local restaurant directly but found they were booked until nearly 10pm. Asked the concierge desk if they could help, and they did! Told us we could go get dinner right away if we wanted.

Every single member of their staff is considerate and welcoming.

Love the opportunity to visit Bardessono even though it doesn t come up often enough.

Beautiful and serene setting, large rooms, outdoor space, fireplace, firm beds, and luxurious bathrooms. "Bathroom" doesn't do it justice -- it's the size of a studio apartment with separate shower, deep soaking tub, separate toilet area, two vanities, and a huge dressing area. Some rooms have outdoor showers.
