A honest and great company. Vickie, the assistant property manager is so loving and kind. She will go out of her way and do whatever she can possibly do to help the tenants!

As a first time renter, DK made the process very smooth and easy for me. I love where I live and DK is always there if I have questions or need help! I recommend this company very highly!

DO NOT RENT {98 MARILYN CIRCLE RINGGOLD GEORGIA} YOU WILL RUN INTO A RODENT PROBLEM! Angie Clay the property manager does not care about the tenants and how they feel about the messy houses they put you in. Honestly I think she's a racist. Since I moved into 98 Marilyn Circle I've had nothing but problems. First there was spider and lady bug investation ,then we had electrical problems that they covered up and didn't want to pay someone to fix, then the refrigerator didn't work good when we moved in and they knew this but just didn't want to replace it until we put in a maintenance request, then they brought use out this tiny refrigerator totally different from the one we previously had. Next the mini overhead lights in the kitchen kept going out and blowing DK never repaired them they just took out the light switch so we couldn't use them. Then the heater went out, we was without heat for 3 day and they didn't want to replace the old unit they just had the compressor repaired. Next we find out we have a rodent investation , which I know the company knew about because there is rat and mice killer box on the hot water heater in the basement that was there before we moved in. I always heard things in this house but I just thought it was because it was creepy but never did I ever think it was mice because we kept it clean. The mice were living under the dishwasher where a hole is in which they come and go as they please. Once I informed Angie Clay of this rodent problem she didn't offered to do anything to fix this problem, she is just a big lazy slob that does not need to be a property manager because she has no customer service or management skills. DK Property never tried to accommodate us for anything, knowing all these problems exist. This house was never move in ready but they leased it to use any way just to take our money. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT OR EQUALLY.

They are thieves they steal from old people they are the worst land Lord's I have ever rented from don't get screwed by this company

They do not care about the people they are renting out to! If you have any sort of problem with your property, good luck getting ahold of them or getting them to come out and fix it!!

I worked with very friendly associates, and they knew a lot about the different homes in the area. I m very picky and they always had the answers to all of my annoying questions lol.

Dk has been nothing but kind and helpful to me since I moved in over 4 years ago. They always take care of any maintenance issues quickly. Dk even went so far as to put me in hotel when something couldn't be fixed on Easter weekend. I would tell any who asked they are fair and care about your family. Thank you DK

DK Property management is the absolute BEST team you could rent from! I rented from them for 2 years and never had any problems. The property was clean and in good repair upon my move in, and the few maintenance issues that came about during my tenancy were addressed the SAME DAY that the request was filled (once as quickly as 30 minutes later). These people are the kindest, most caring property managers you could ask for! If i ever find myself in the Ringgold/ Chatt area again, I will DEFINITELY be renting from DK again!

The real estate company itself is a very good company who cares about its renters and employees. The battlefield village apartment owner, however, cared about no one but herself. So all in all, it is a place to check out. Just do not rent from battlefield village through DK.

These people are absolute garbage and racist, especially Angie Clay who is a poor excuse for a human being, they tried to force my wife and I into a completely new leases, disregarding Tennessee law about tenants rights and told us that our current lease didn't matter, that we would be signing a month to month and if they didn't think we would work out, they would end the lease even tho in Tennessee if your rental home is sold your lease must legally be honored to the duration of the lease, they said they never got our previous lease and that our rent would go from $900 a month to $1200 a month until we emailed them a copy of our lease, to which she barely glanced at and grudgingly acknowledged the price we had and the time frame, but still kept mentioning that we would be placed into a month to month, when we refused her maintenance man tried to take over the conversation and got in a huff at me when i informed him i wasn't speaking to him, but Angie the representative we had a meeting with, they both got extremely offended at me not wanting to talk to him, but the actual realtor, my wife had to beg her to listen to us as she took everything we said about needing a different schedule because i work nights and they wanted to start construction and repairs as soon as i got home disregarding that i need sleep, I repeatedly asked why we were being treated as if we didn't matter and Angie said that i was being far too aggressive and that she wouldn't allow us to stay in our home, that she had lawyers tell her already she could remove us, not knowing our lawyer already showed us the laws on this and that she couldn't, so we left and informed her that our lawyer would make contact, i slammed the door and left and some blonde middle aged leathery woman, a good ol' boy shaking angrily and a skinny kid, as well as the maintenance man and Angie Clay came out to yell at me, the good ol' boy inching closer until he was 3 feet away from me informing me that i "was in his town now" and talking to me like an less than an animal, the blonde came up to my car banging on the driver's side door where my wife was seated and repeatedly told her she was calling a officer because she felt like i was beating her and abusing her, my wife repeatedly asked her to get away from the car as she was crying and having and anxiety attack from the stress, the woman refused to listen, so i rounded the car and told her to stop arrassing my wife, she then told me i "looked like i beat on women" and then said "are you gonna beat on me too, big boy" which I have no idea how i look like i beat women, I'm wearing my work clothes still and dressed relatively as nice as her, so what looked abusive, the 6 foot black guy, the big "boy" as she put it, my wife was extremely upset at the racist allegations that her black husband must beat on his poor defenseless white wife and went inside to ask who she thought she was to be such a racist piece of human garbage that she would sick cops on me for domestic violence against my wife that she was implying because i am black, they said they weren't calling the cops, Angie Clay promised no cops would be called, so we head home and call our lawyer, while we are home 3 officers arrive to do a wellness check, because they received a report from DK Property Management claiming i was beating my wife and threatening her on their property, that i was probably beating her when they got there, so after an hour of being questioned my wife in tears, i being kept outside so she could answer freely, proved there was no violence ever between us, the officers left after apologizing and informing us we were banned from DK Property Management and that it was because Angie Clay said i was too threatening and volatile for their safety, we were treated with such prejudice and inhumanity by DK Property Management and Angie Clay and recommend no one allow them to manage their property, tenants, or leasing ever, not unless you want illegal breaches of contract to be a recurring part of your business and home life.

Really professional and a great rental property. Maintenance team was very responsive.

**UPDATE**. 5/01/2019.. I ve noticed this company has responded to all the good reply s but not to the folks they treated wrongly, why is that?? Upon looking at the pictures that were posted and the nasty place they sent me to look at ( y all should be sooooooo ashamed ) but your not, in fact I don t think y all even care!
Next paragraph is what I originally typed out..

I inquired about all the bad reviews and they stated it was from tenants that were evicted.. These people sent me out to look at a rental property and I couldn t believe this company sent me there. It was so nasty!! How dare you think I would move my family in such filth! The attitude of some of the employees upon entering D & K was not good either. I was introduced to the maintenance man whom actually was very young but looked like to me like he was high.. I thought this was a Christian company? I m not a tenant and will never be especially seeing what I saw and reading these other reviews. I believe the folks that posted reviews.. . I personally feel these folks are out for themselves but there again most people are.

I have only good things to say so far. Tracy has helped me find a place to rent and still helping find a place to buy.

I wired $1500.00 to secure an apartment and was told I would receive my receipt and lease info. I've received nothing and I can't get my money returned.

I have rented from them for a year now, and they have been great to deal with! Very friendly and great customer service. Any issue I have had, they have sent someone in a timely matter and always follow up. I would high recommend them to anyone.

I want to say that I have rented from many companies. I have always had air issues from these companies in the summer. DK was the first company that I have dealt with that got people out same day after 12pm.

This Company was absolutely horrible. We signed a lease for this house. The picture showed that it was done and looked nice, but when we went to go look at it, it was a complete disaster and smells like wet dogs. We told them our situation and that we had to be out of our other rental house by the first since our current rental place was going to be sold. They promised us it was going to be done and move in ready. We paid them the deposit plus the first month rent upfront ($2,450) They gave us the keys, and they told us it wasn't ready but they would call us when it was. We kept going back to the house to look for the progress it was really slow. One day I noticed huge bug in the light. I asked my son "what is that, what kind of bug is that big? So we open it up and then came the humongous dead cockaroach I have ever seen. See I'm not used to seeing big cockroaches only the small ones. So it really freak me out (someone once told me, if you see one cockroach then there usually hundreds or maybe thousands more.) so one night we went back to make sure if there really was a roach problem and started investigating. As soon as I open one of the closets there was Godzilla cockroach ( yes bigger than that dead humongous one) right in front of my face. Then we went to the bathroom and we saw little ones too and I'm starting to get worried and I'm thinking "good lord..big ones and little ones this is not happening!" I told my husband you need to call them and and tell them they need to come out with an exterminator that there is no way I'm bringing my kids and furniture into an infested home. I even suggested for them to pay for the first extermination and that we would keep up with the rest of the exterminator visit, but I would like to choose the exterminator company. They never called us back and when we came really close to our time to move into this house we noticed a lot of holes and cracks in crevices and the refrigerator wasn't clean under the refrigerator wasn't clean under the stove the stove itself wasn't clean it was a total mess and we were expected to move in like a few days. There's a bug problem and the refrigerator and stove are disgusting underneath the refrigerator is it's disgusting how can I move into disgusting house, and be able to get rid of these cockroaches? Even the bathrooms weren't clean right. I have never been into a rental house or an apartment for that matter that everything wasn't clean. I told my husband I can't move into this place, I rather sleep in a tent. From some luck from above someone called us and told us there was a house that hasn't been advertised yet and that it was move-in ready and that it was $250 cheaper than the Roach house. So we went to go take a look at it and it was beautiful, clean and bug free. We were sold and we ended up getting that house. We called DK property management to see about getting some if not all of our money back . The lady was like well we can give you back the first months rent but I don't know about the deposit, I'll have to get with the owner. It's been three months going on four that we have not heard back from them. I have pictures I would love to show, if I can find a place to Post them. If you're looking for a place, make this company your last option. This Company doesn't even deserve one star.

Update on DK Property Management. Live in one of their rental houses for last year and i could not ask for a better experience. Professional and courteous. I would recommend these folks to anyone looking for a rental.

When I was taken into the home I was interested in leasing , there were odor eliminating devices on the bar in kitchen. Now I know why. After moving in the odor of cat urine was overbearing. I reported this to DKP. Nothing done. I also reported that my bedroom door and the bathroom door would not remain open. Response : the house is un level and nothing can be done . These may seem like trivial matters but when one is paying the amount charged by DKP, an effort should have been made to fix it! After our 1year lease was up we went on a month to month contract but at a higher rental amount. We gave a months notice, paid to have the house spotlessly cleaned and asked that our security deposit be used for the last months rent. To the best of our knowledge, this was done. Now over a year later, we are notified that we owe the last months rent and have been turned over to a collection agency.
These people are only concerned with the dollars in their pocket! We would have gladly paid for any damages over and above the security dep/ last month s rent, had they had the courtesy to notify us. This was handled very poorly. We did what we thought was acceptable, gave proper notice and left the house in excellent condition. Now they have treated us in this manner to Make more money. They are a disgrace to Ringgold , Georgia

Our maintenance guy Kenny is awesome. So friendly and I think he knows how to fix anything. The staff in the office are great too. We love it here!!

DK is an absolutely trash company, run by complete crooks who do their best to pretend to be Stand Up Christians. If you really do some investigating into their positive reviews you ll notice many of them have been posted by their family members (who are also reviewing Vegas strip clubs) and their employees. Deborah, one of the owners is a misleading & venomous professional who will take advantage of you at every opportunity. The husband has a reputation around town of always looking for the cheapest option, while being one of the highest cost providers, for complete sub-par work. I wouldn t let them build a dog-house for me, much less build or renovate my properties. I will always regret the day I let these people con me into doing business with them. Do yourself a favor and go with Queen construction.

They did a great job and made me money when they managed my rental property. Way more money than when I managed it myself and without half the headaches. My tenants were also much happier to have such a responsive team managing it!

Beware of leasing from this company. I completed a 1year lease, they agreed to month to month after the lease was up, gave a month notice. Moved out, paid a cleaning service to clean the home, over a year after I moved out they turned me over to collection,,,,and yes they kept the one month security deposit......no communication was made to notify me that they thought I owed them money,,,,,,
