Our event was on June,15 2019, the day after wedding party, we had over 140 guests mostly from U.S.
Both Lauren and Alysha were extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole process, great service and the tasteful food (Tenderloin and Sushi bar) were beyond expectation, drinks, coffee, tea and deserts were served the whole time, sound system was just perfect for dancing and no need for D.J.
Our guests were overjoyed and we were pleased with the service and accommodations we received.
We have great memories to cherish forever.

I've been on a few charters on the Magic Charm and have enjoyed it every time. The boat is modern, tidy, well equipped. The food they serve is good quality and not wildly expensive. They have a number of different routes around the harbour they can take and the boat offers some great views, while still offering a variety of options to shelter from the weather.

My only complaint was in one seated dinner cruise the back of the dining area became unbearably hot due to limited air conditioning.

We had our wedding on the Magic Charm this past summer. It couldn't have gone better and they were fantastic to work with. Very accommodating staff who helped make a very special day less stressful.

We booked the New Years Eve Cruise for December 31 2018. Our boat clearly ran aground shortly after we passed under the Lions Gate Bridge. I was outside in the front of the boat, as it got too close to the shore. It was very obvious that we hit rocks and ran dangerously close to the shore. (less than 5 M from the shore line of Stanley Park) We ran so close to the shore that the boat had to back up 270 degrees to correct our course. When the staff realized what was happening they scrambled to deal with the situation but did NOT inform us of anything. Though I can appreciate that you would not want to panic people, they should have at least informed us that there had been a navigational issue. Overall we enjoyed the cruise for the sights and the fireworks, but there were some glaring concerns that occurred, that the crew did not address. I doubt that I will patronize Magic Yacht Charters in the future.

We have done 20 years of corporate dinner cruises involving multiple companies, and by far Magic Yacht Charters has been the best. The food, staff, flexibility and overall experience is spectacular. We look forward to this event every year, and can rest assured everything will be fabulous. Thank you to your wonderful crew!!!

From the initial inquiry to the final good-bye my experience chartering with Magic Yacht was painless and even pleasant. The boat was clean and well-maintained, the staff were pleasant and attentive, and the food was excellent quality. Requested changed were handled with ease and a smile. Our tour was definitely the highlight of our meeting.

great place for a party drinks are a bit pricey 8 bucks for a crown and coke but the food is fantastic

The boat was set nicely, but it was too packed for the amount of people in it. The food was mediocre, and the portions/sizes weren't really suited for the guests present. Also it was raining that day and the chortling started leaking onto a table.

We had a great experience with Magic Yacht Charters. The communication was very easy back and forth and they were very accommodating with our requests. Our team enjoyed the boat ride and had a great time!

Me and my friends wanted to see the fireworks on the Magic Spirit in August. It was a very nice night, we liked the music, you can dance on the top floor, the food was great and the fireworks were amazing :) I enjoyed seeing the city with the lights at night, our route was cool. The staff was very kind and helpful, they tried their very best to make a good time for everyone. :) Recommended :)

We had our Corporate Holiday Party on the Magic Moment and had a fantastic experience. Alysha and Lauren were great helping us organize the event and confirming everything prior to the event. They were both wonderful to work with. The ship was nicely decorated for Christmas and the food was wonderful. The feedback from our staff was they enjoyed the cruise, beautiful views and great food. I would highly recommend Magic Yacht Charters.

UBC Law has used this company for a few years now for our annual event, and they have been excellent hosts every time! Communication was great, the staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, and everything always runs according to plan with no hassle

Our Department Staff Social had a great time. Magic Yacht Charters made the entire experience from the first stages of booking to the actual event very easy and enjoyable and we were able to relax and socialize without any hassles. We highly recommend this company and we look forward to utilizing their services again in the future.

Lauren was brilliant helping us get all the services setup that we needed, then Alysha was brilliant helping us coordinate all the details of our event. Everything went off without a hitch, as planned and expected. The staff working that night were fantastic... friendly and professional. The food was very tasty and my guests all had a great time. I just wanted to say what a wonderful experience I had with Magic Yacht Charters and specifically the HornBlower. The Crew and Bar staff were fantastic, friendly and wonderful hosts of the ship. Everyone I was with had a fantastic time and at the end they were very good about seeing us of the vessel safely. I also had an opportunity to deal with the head office and they were more than helpful. Great crew and a great organization. If you are looking to hold a function on a boat these are the people you want to deal with.

Used Magic Yacht Charters to organize a Grad event this past November and it turned out amazing! Such great service and all 200 graduates and guests had a fantastic time. They offer great, affordable rates and the Event Coordinators were very easy to work with making the process a lot less stressful for me.

Their boats pollute the harbour (just look at the pictures). They are known for cutting off other boats and being rude to local businesses, like the aqua bus. Do not support them.

31/12/2018, new years eve, me and my group of friends decided to join the cruise, it started off well by captain introducing himself and giving everyone safety instructions but it all went pretty bad as soon as we started to sail, we hit something, and there was a big noise, the yacht started to shake very badly, everyone was confused and wanted to know if everything was alright. Captain at that time disappeared, he did not inform anyone that if everything was alright, so we were left with assumption (hopefully we are not going to die tonight). Right afterwards all staff on board lost their cool, and it was a chaos, we were served a very unappetizing cold dinner. No one told us, that we can go upstairs on the dance floor, or we can take the new years hats that they have gathered for us. DJ on the dance floor was a kid, who played 90's songs back to back, guests felt really bored. No one informed us that we were to be served a champagne. There was no announcement that clock is going to struck 12:00 am, similarly there was no count down. It was extremely ill organized and not worth 175$. Please avoid this company!

Honestly wish I could leave Zero stars! My partner booked two tickets for the New Years eve 3 hour cruise ($99 per ticket)...and we were both very excited. That excitement soon faded upon boarding the boat when we could see little to no proper organisation. Simply put one tiny coat rack, NO TICKET service and left at own risk. Not only this the lower part of the boat was just for V.i.ps which meant about 6 places to sit for about 300 plus people! Upper deck was a dance floor for general gold ticket paying customers. Hood luck dancing when the queue for the bar leads straight to that space. Then we move onto the promised plentiful of food appetizers... well there was certainly plenty of spring rolls for those lucky few people who did manage to find a seat, as a few servers, who were actually doing their best and were kind, came round holding a mini plate. If you were lucky you'd find the server offering a meat ball on a stick. NOT QUITE the luxury new years eve cruise! Not only that there was some VERY MISLEADING WORDING over Champagne and views which actually meant after asking several staff... NO Free glass of Champagne or even bubbly come midnight. You couldnt even buy a glass...you were forces to buy a bottle. Honestly being stuck on this boat with far too many onboard made the 3 hours feel like a sentence...least they were right in their promise ring in the new year you'll remember. We'll certainly remember not to make this MISTAKE again. WHEN STAFF AGREE HOW BAD IT ALL WAS AND HOW MANY COMPLAINTS THEY KEPT HAVING TO HEAR...WELL! Please stay clear of this rip off especially the new years cruise to remember!

We had our wedding celebration in July, 2016 and the service was absolutely horrible and embarrassing! Magic Yacht Charters failed miserably! Steer clear of their vessels!
1) The boat was not ready when the guests started arriving. The staff were still setting up and cleaning this included vacuuming!
2) The captain was not there on time and then when he finally arrived, he kicked all of our guests off the boat so he could do a head count which created a back log on the dock and interrupted our receiving line.
3) Regarding the food, they failed miserably. They did not provide what we had ordered. We ordered a breakfast buffet, fruit, a seafood station and a sushi station and all foods were to be set up at the back of the boat. The eggs were suppose to be made to order which did not happen, and they did not supply any of the breads, pastries and muffins that were on the menu. They were also understaffed so the line up at the buffet was long! They served maple syrup right out of the container all gooped up sitting on the back deck this scene resembled my after-grad breakfast in a small Alberta town in 1982 that all the parents got together and cooked in a park. All that was missing was the pick-up trucks and the paper plates! The seafood station and sushi station we ordered was actually embarrassing. A small metal bowl of crab legs and a small plate of sushi was sitting on a big bare table looking stupid at the front of the boat and to think they charged us an additional $21 per person for this the food supplied was no where close to being able to serve 60 guests!! The seafood station was to include much more variety and be presented on an ice sculpture. Well, and the fruit tray, it was upstairs somewhere, we had to ask for it to be brought down and they just set it on a ledge sitting all by itself at the back of the boat also looking stupid and it remained untouched as it was not where there was guest traffic.
4) They ran out of sparkling wine half way into the trip.
5) We had asked for a ceasar station to be set up and had given them a list of condiments of which they only supplied half of what we asked for and charged us $15.00 per person just for the condiments (the price per ceasar was on top of this amount).
6) They failed to provide a bartender that we had specifically asked for that would circulate taking drink orders. This resulted in long lineups at the bar.
7) They supplied the equipment so we could play our wedding video and it had no sound!
8) And last but most certainly not least, there was a leak coming from the upper level where the ladies washroom was and it was dripping on one of the tables and they simply responded that there was nothing they could do about it. EWWWW!!!!!!
They charged us all of the money up front. We sent them the list of issues and all they are offering is a 15% discount! That is unacceptable!

I booked my schools grad boat cruise with this company and all of our inquiries were organized perfectly, along with their staff being extremely helpful all throughout the process. The event itself was perfect; the students loved it and the staff was very welcoming.

Good food and a great ride. Dinner and drinks on a smooth cruise in the waters between main land and the island. Great view of the city outskirts both during day time and night or evening. Food is tasty but really just being on the water is the real reason to go out. Definitely a must try once in Vancouver.

What a perfect service. I had arranged my staff Christmas party for my construction company. We had a party of 35. Upon arriving we where brought to another boat because they had issues with the boat we had rented. We where upgraded to the bigger boat and if they had not told us, I would have never known there was an issue other than seeing a bigger boat. We then boarder and the staff was completely accommodating and fun. The table and boat set up and decorations where perfect and created a perfect event atmosphere. The dinner was unbelievable especially the roast beef, and I dont mean "good for food on a boat" I mean , just fantastic food. This was literally worth every penny and my staff had such an amazing time. Thank you for providing a perfect services through and through. MY only regret is not having the boat out for an hour or 2 longer because it goes by fast. Time fly's when your havin fun. Thanks again Magic Yacht Charters. I will be using without a doubt in the future.

We recently held a corporate event on the Magic Hornblower and had a GREAT time! The staff where very helpful and readily available and the whole booking process was seamless.

I had my company's program party with the Magic Yacht Charters. It was WONDERFUL. Boat was amazing, very friendly staff with attention to every detail and tons of great feedback from the attendees. LOVE IT!

Alysha and all the staff are so wonderful.
We celebrated our wedding on the 20th and they gave my new bride the wedding of her dreams, even though she did not vocalize to me or the staff what her true heart's desires were.
The food was exemplary better then could ever imagine. Guests were telling us to charter every year on our anniversary so they could have that experience again. Value for the cost can not be beat.

We used Magic Yacht Charters for our company's 10 year anniversary party and it was an awesome night. The weather ended up being picture perfect (as demonstrated by the many, many Instagram posts of the sunset that resulted) and everyone had a fantastic time. Alysha was wonderful to work with, she was super communicative right from the start and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had during the planning process. Booked online Wednesday for Saturday night fireworks cruise and I still haven't received agenda or e mail confirmation.Even after 3 phone calls I have received no information about where to board, what time to board.Very frustrated as this is a special anniversary , our 4th. HOPE it works out

I used Magic Yacht Charters for my brother's celebration of life. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during such a tough time. I was debating over a celebration on land or a boat excursion as my brother loved to travel. The boat, the Magic Moment, was perfect for our crowd of 30, intimate and cozy but not crowded. I do recommend touring the boats prior to booking to ensure you have the right boat for your gathering. The staff from the sales and event planning to the boat crew were so wonderful and helpful every step of the way. They were quick, courteous and went the extra mile, especially when I realized I had left the extension cord for our slide projector at home and the boat staff were able to find one for me last minute, it really saved the day! The food served on board was fantastic, all the guests raved about it afterwards! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We got married on the Magic Hornblower this past Sunday and man, did we make the right choice! The event coordination staff was amazing, the yacht crew was phenomenal, and the whole night went off without a hitch. Thank you for making our wedding so memorable!

Went to a wedding party here. The wedding itself was fantastic and the layout was great. Captain was good too. The yacht however needs an upgrade on the AV system... The mic and the audio was so muffled it was hard to hear anyone.

This cruise was well organized right from the start. The staff and team are very flexible to your needs and wants and provide lots of options for you on the boat. The service, food, atmosphere and scenery were fantastic and the price was very reasonable. The boat was clean and comfortable. They even came out of their way to pick us up at a different dock. I will definitely recommend Magic Yacht Charters for your corporate or family event.

Lame New Years party on the not so "Magic Spirit", you have to drink a lot of spirits to get through the night. No tables or chairs for all guests, barely any food, waitresses run around with trays of food. Rip off, boat is not impressive, boat is run down & shabby.
