When I was taken into the home I was interested in leasing , there were odor eliminating devices on the bar in kitchen. Now I know why. After moving in the odor of cat urine was overbearing. I reported this to DKP. Nothing done. I also reported that my bedroom door and the bathroom door would not remain open. Response : the house is un level and nothing can be done . These may seem like trivial matters but when one is paying the amount charged by DKP, an effort should have been made to fix it! After our 1year lease was up we went on a month to month contract but at a higher rental amount. We gave a months notice, paid to have the house spotlessly cleaned and asked that our security deposit be used for the last months rent. To the best of our knowledge, this was done. Now over a year later, we are notified that we owe the last months rent and have been turned over to a collection agency.
These people are only concerned with the dollars in their pocket! We would have gladly paid for any damages over and above the security dep/ last month s rent, had they had the courtesy to notify us. This was handled very poorly. We did what we thought was acceptable, gave proper notice and left the house in excellent condition. Now they have treated us in this manner to Make more money. They are a disgrace to Ringgold , Georgia
