Cebrated my birthday at Trader Sams, what an awesome place. While some what small, it was a great environment and our waitress Tayana was so great.

It's was a beautiful setting it was really good food and drinks
Goody's kitchen us wonderful for the kids to meet the cast.
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet at Goofy's Kitchen!
I went to a bar called Trader Sam's after work to enjoy some drinks and wind down. This is my go to place to enjoy drinks and some Disney magic at the same time! The Uh-oa is this big bowl of deliciousness that you can only drink with two or more friends. But if you're a heavyweight I'm sure this would an easy task. Make sure to come out at night and enjoy the outdoor patio to hear some good ol Hawaiian music too.
So many good things. Get your Dole Whip here. No lines. Skip the rum. Couldn't taste it at all.
Trader Sam's is great for a Tiki bar. On the expensive side (Disney) and kind of hard to get into on a weekend night but the drinks and vibe were very good.
The tiki bar is hella dope. Go peep it and have a drink. Just don't sink the ship!
I love the tiki bar at the Disney land hotel. Trader Sams is one of the best places on Disney property.
The Disneyland hotel is my favorite place to stay when visiting Disneyland. The rooms are nice the service is very good and the access to downtown Disney and the Disneyland parks are fantastic! You get into the parks an hour earlier than non hotel guests which in its self is an awesome perk because you can knock out some long line rides before the crowds start flooding in! The pool is in the middle of all the Disneyland hotel towers and is easily accessible no matter which tower you stay in, it's very clean and well staffed. Dinning options range from eating with Disney characters with your kids or having a nice adult dinner at a steak house. The rooms are priced in the middle of the 3 properties, so while not the most expensive it's not the cheapest. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that they charge you for parking as a hotel guests? That should be in the price of the room already. There are gift shops within the hotel and coffee shops. Everything is mapped in the Disneyland app so it's all very easy to find.
Disney flair everywhere and Disney service and quality throughout. Adjacent to Downtown Disney and an easy walk to the parks. Pools are kid-friendly. Restaurants and a gift shop on-site. Some rooms include a view of the fireworks! Even decorated to commemorate 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion.
-1 star because of the price.
Stopped at trader Sam's. It was a blast. Great drink and fun Disney atmosphere
This is my first time staying at the Disneyland Hotel. It was magical. The staff is always friendly ready and willing to help. Everything is clean any thing that is dropped on the floor within 5 seconds someone is there to clean. The beds were comfortable and not to mention the magic head board with the lights that can act as a night light. I can't wait to come back and bring my daughter. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Also when you are in a Disney Hotel we were able to have the gifts taken there instead of carrying them. I love Disney and the service they bring.
Good news! The Disneyland Hotel is clean and quiet. A fantastic place to stay if interested in visiting areas in and around the Disneyland Resort, especially if a fan of Disney properties. Bad news... It's a pricey stay.
Beautiful hotel! Staff is pretty friendly. Parking is expensive and not included if your staying there. Some rooms come with a view of fireworks which is great. Restaurants on property range from $$-$$$$. Pools are heated.
The room was clean and the view was great! Best hotel I have stayed in!
Old Disney ambience. Awesome if you're a Disney buff.
Goofy's kitchen was great fun and quite a spread of food. It was a bit pricey at 150 for 3 people but the characters really take their time with you and the kids loved it.
Nice place, visited just for breakfast with disney characters
A nice hotel and well managed, but badly overpriced for what you get. Proximity to the parks is nice, but frankly the monorail service wasn't any easier than taking a shuttle from a nearby hotel.
The staff was friendly, but ineffective at actually resolving problems. After 3 trips to the desk to assure that I was billed for my in-laws room, they still insisted that they provide a credit card on check-in, gave them a bill despite explicit instructions then tried to bill them at check out.
Guest services is limited. They were great for arranging tours and passes, but couldn't arrange flowers (that's a different service, go to the website) or book a mobility scooter in advance (you have to show up in the morning and we might have one, or it could be two hours if we don't). They were very nice and friendly, just not the level of service I expect for the price. They aren't even open 24/7. For >$500 USD / night, I expect a 24/7 concierge. The desk is manned, but the late staff isn't authorized to actually book anything.
The rooms were excellent. Clean, modern and lots of nice Disney touches. My only complaint was that the in room coffee was terrible. The north facing (front) rooms have a great view of the Disneyland fireworks, but they don't tell you that in advance and we only found out on the last night.
The pools and waterslides were excellent. The restaurants were sub-par food for a premium price and weren't open when we wanted to eat (3pm). No poolside service. The hotel store had all the sundries and a small but good selection of wine at a decent price.
This hotel is living off the Disneyland name. The only real value is that you get the early admission every day while staying with the Disneyland resorts. If you can drag your kids (or yourself) out of bed at 6am on vacation it's great, but there are other ways to get it and you get worn out doing that for more than a couple of days.
It's a nice hotel but a poor value overall. Save your money for activities and get a better place with a shuttle to the parks.
This is Disneyland Resort's mid-price range hotel out of their three in-property hotels. It is located right at the end of Downtown Disney. A walk to the parks is about 15 minutes from here. They have a very interesting tiki bar in the pool area. The rooms have a special headboard that lights up and plays a lullaby when you press its button.
To be the first team for my family I was amazing Wouldn't recommend for 3 year old kids still to little and get tired quick!!!
We went on Thanksgiving to the buffet Food was mediocre. I'd never do that again. Over priced just like everything at Disneyland.
Trader Sam's was fabulous! Such a great atmosphere. Delicious, STRONG, fun drinks. Wish we'd had dinner here instead of Carthay Circle! Can't wait to go back to Trader Sam's!
Our room was showing its age but they were very hospitable and made our stay comfortable
Very nice place! Haven't stayed at the hotel myself, but I highly recommend visiting Trader Sam's!
Hotels rooms are very spacious and clean. Proximity to the park is great.
These hotels are beautiful. The typical Disney experience. I wander around in them on my walks through the parks, and they are always clean, comfortable, and just a nice place to be in.
Very pleasant place to visit the crowds are never over barring the food is great the cast members are good people!
Great & friendly service at the hotel. Facilities and amenities could use an upgrade, as they're a little old (especially considering the cost to stay at the hotel per night). One of the best things about the hotel is the convenience - parking is right by the hotel and the hotel is a short walk to both Downtown Disney & the parks. During my stay, they were able to give us a room at 7:30am as opposed to the usual time of 3:00pm - bonus Disney magic!!!
Attended a social event here at the hotel and everything was to notch. Would definitely come back again. Tip.. Make sure to validate three parking ticket.
This Classic Hotel is timeless. I love it from the minute you walk in the lobby with all the Nostalgia up on the walls and even on the floor coverings. It literally is like walking back in time yet with a fresh current vibe. I highly recommend staying at this property if you're visiting the parks.
"Embarrassing Encounters" -- When I checked in originally, my assigned room ended up being already occupied! Made for a very embarrassing encounter with the family staying there - The desk staff was wonderful and got me my new (unoccupied) room, but that meant I had to bring all of my luggage back down from the room I thought I was staying in and standing in line again before finally being able to lug everything back up to the new run to drop off my stuff. The staff helped so much but I appreciated the help, but as a solo guest who had never been to Disney, I wish I had more presence and guidance about the area.
This location lacked the Disney factor. It seemed more like a motel than a hotel. It had no Disney wow factor. Also the pools claim to be heated but it was freezing, the security personal are all old white guy's with racists views. They're not even polite enough to greet you. Neither is the staff at the gift shop's. We had a do not disturb sign up and the housekeeper still barged in our room. The amenities this location provides are very basic and nit worthy of the disney name. We had dinner at steakhouse 55 the food was nothing special. As was thr service. Over all i am very disappointed and unsatisfied with my experience and will never return to stay here again....
The disney magic is alive here! Its worth the $$if you love Disney
Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy access to both Disneyland and California Adventure
Attended a wedding at the hotel and had a beautiful ceremony and reception.
The Disneyland Hotel is Great. So convenient, walk out of the Hotel amd right into Downtown Disney. Hotel Rooms are nice, great amenities, character breakfast, awesome club level lounge stocked with delicious desserts. If you Love Disneyland like out Family, you need to at least try out the Disneyland Hotel. (Or one of the other Disney Hotels) once we tried it, we can never go back. Love all the details in the hotel and rooms. Clean, fun and so very Disney.
The atmosphere and level of service set the standard for which others should strive for. Disney is famous for such standards and it shows in every aspect.
Location is great! Rooms are clean and the Disney Downtown area is right next door. LA is about 45 minutes away if you don't hit traffic. Really awesome place.
Great location. Rooms were clean and the fireworks light up display above the beds was very cool. Service was great although they did forget to send up a crib when we checked in.
Paying $1000 a night and the tiki bar charged me $22.09 for a draft beer and a Pina colada. Outrageous. Don't believe I will be recommending this place.
Had lunch at Trader Sam's. Amazing drinks, a bit disappointed that the collector cups we wanted weren't available.
Always very well organized the way that only Disney can do.
Absolutely magical. Worth every penny. I cant hype this enough. Characters greeted my sons as we unpacked the shuttle that got us to the hotel. The cast members were phenomenal!! Everything from this hotel is so convenient! Walking distance to everything, downtown disney stroller rental, beautiful pool. It was our first disney trip and we can't wait to go back! The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The view was amazing.
Great atmosphere, love the character dining at restaurants
Trader Sam's is not-so-secretly the best place to grab a drink at Disneyland.
