Find Trader Sam's Tiki bar on the opposite end of the pool. Some of the best Tiki drinks I've had plus the entertainment when you order certain drinks are a plus. Thanks to Bernardo, the live music outside and the rest of the staff for making a rainy night something magical.

Disneyland Hotel was okay. I don't like the lack of immersion compared to WDW hotels but it is pretty nice to be within walking distance of everything. As long as you don't leave the property, convenience is just a step away. Also, the inside is pretty drab, it could really use a refresh. My girlfriend used the gift services and they failed pretty miserably to say the least.

Staying at the hotel made our 2-day disneyland vacation so nice. It's expensive but vacations usually are. The room was beautiful. They had questionable TV functionality for 2019, but we didn't really come to watch TV. The pool was clean, but kids complained it was too salty. Everyone loved the hot tub. It was so nice to be able to take a break at the hotel then jump right back into the park. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This review is for the tiki bar... fantastic tiki drinks at a good price $12 to 13. Food was average however and a bit overpriced. Great break from the spots inside the theme park however so recommended.

Great that we were nearby to the downtown and had access to the monorail to Disneyland-tomorrowland. But being placed at the Frontier building was pretty far from the entrance and further from trying to get to the park as opposed to the Adventure or Fantasy hotel, so experience went a bit down when it was a lot more of walking to and from hotel to parking lot to our vehicle or down to the park.

This place is not only iconic but the service and amenities only seem to get better and better. Sure it cost more to stay here but in my opinion it's worth every last penny. The rooms are spacious, the beds you wish you could take home with you there so comfortable. Then things like the light up music playing headboards, the light fixtures, large bathtubs, excellent water pressure all add up. Then you go downstairs and you can find characters walking around, and see so many photos of famous people that have stayed there. Finally the pool area WOW other hotels can only wish. There are pools for every age group, water slides, hot tub, and most importantly the lifeguards that you can see take their jobs seriously and make you feel safe to let your kids explore on their own. In my opinion yes there newer and even more lavish Disney hotels at the Disneyland Resort, but it's hard to beat the original icon that this place is.

When you come to Disney in California to have fun, you must spend money to live and see inside Disney. Like us, you will also choose to play until the last minute to watch fireworks or light shows when the park opens! The tired feet after walking all day just want to get a rest as soon as possible. Living in the Disney park is so convenient!

If you come to Disney California, you have to stay at the Disney Hotel. The room, bed, and pool are awesome!!!
The rooms and swimming pool of this hotel are absolutely attractive!

Overall, great hotel. Service was slow at poolside and the larger pool was closed for a few hours. It made the open areas pretty crowded. Close proximity to Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney.

The Disneyland Resort is in such a convenient location to the park. There are shuttles available to get to different locations. Customer service was great. The price is higher due to convenience but I definitely say it's worth it!

This the only place in the Disney resort I can give 5 stars. Yes, it's insanely expensive, but the combination of awesome architecture, history, and wonderful service makes it a must-see. Love the Disneyland Hotel.

Enjoyed a meal at Steakhouse 55 yesterday. Our experience there was exceptional. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. We would definitely return here for another special event.

Of course the hotel itself was amazing. However, the pool hour sucked. The fitness center needs a new floor and it'd be nice if the mirror wasn't covered by equipment. My real issue comes down to staff. My intention was to pay for the hotel stay in full with gift cards we had saved. I expressed this to the clerk at check-in. Fast forward to check out day, there's a bill on my door saying they'd be charging my credit card for the expense of 1 night's stay. I didn't understand this since the total the check in clerk had given me was $684 and I gave them $700. So I went to the front desk to figure it out. Instead of the clerk there telling me she'd figure it out, she came out with a box (one of many) full of room keys and gift cards they'd be recycling and told me to help her look for any gift cards so that we could see if one still had a remaining balance. After the first box, I asked her if I could leave to get my kids ready and my car packed up since it was our departure day. "I guess if you have to go into the parks, I'll do this myself." We missed our magic morning entry due to this debacle. Also, my mother-in-law's souvenirs went missing. It was a horrible stay and we won't be returning.

The hotel was very nice looking and had a peaceful and happy feeling. The workers were very helpful and even made me a dog out of towels for me to keep. The rooms also had nice decorations and lots of space for sitting or storing items. But the best part is the pool, they have 2 pools which are heated and are large. The area also has 3 slides and a kiddie area. And for the adults there is a bar and 2 hot tubs. There are also chairs for those who dont want to swim. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Spectacular location. A very short walk to Downtown Disney and an easy walk to the Disneyland parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything including helping us extend our park hopper tickets an additional day. The rooms could probably use an update, but they were very clean and comfortable. Our rooms (we had a suite, which was a few rooms of varying sizes connected to each other) all had refrigerators in them and some couches. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was amazing and the staff was so great. I only had one complaint, I asked one of the maids if she can clean my room while we were out. She then proceeded to tell me that they only clean after check out. Later that day my wife went back to the room to grab and item and a different maid asked my wife if she wanted our room clean so that gave me the impression that the first maid was lazy.

I was there to buy a limited edition mug. Had to park in the Downtown Disney lot and the Disneyland Hotel wouldn't even validate the ticket. Guess they were afraid of losing the $20, cost of parking in the lot they own.
