Pricey but nice to stay on disney property. Nice rooms
Forth time at Trader Sam's and it's always a blast. Great drinks, great food, super fun staff.
Went to the Trader Sam's Tiki Bar. It's really neat, if you order drinks, inside the bar there are small items that move. You need to order a drink and watch as the room comes alive. Will visit again.
Staff are great. Service is prompt. Building and rooms are clean
Dined at Steakhouse 55 for a business meeting. The bar outside the restaurant was a nice casual atmosphere with table service available while waiting for my reservation. There was a decent, but not overwhelming selection of beer. The actual restaurant itself, while a bit expensive, was a great experience. Service was very good, and the steak was perfect. The 24 layer chocolate cake was amazing for desert, as well. Will repeat when back at the Disneyland hotel!
Staying at the hotel has the best perks for going to the Disney parks
Very friendly staff and beautiful environment. Makes the Disney Magic really come alive here.
While I was staying, I was free to go to Disneyland
At that time, there was no Tokyo Disneyland, and there was a status I wanted to go to without Disney Fan
After all, it was the original
I enjoyed it for 2 days Big
Great service, drinks were wonderful, and awesome atmosphere!
Overall it was a great experience The concierge was awesome. They did however book a room to somebody else and one of our guests who is paralyzed was not able to use the restroom.
Drinks at Trader Sam's are always good! Love the look and feel of the whole hotel.
Location is great, literally a few minutes walk from Downtown Disney.
Very convenient for visiting parks. Service is great, environment is awesome and I would totally come back here again
Great acomendation excellent service and friendly staff.
Great Disney hotel, better than most in the mid range price in Orlando! Rooms are much bigger, bathroom is nicer.. and you can't put a price on walking to downtown Disney and any of the two parks!
Its located right next to downtown Disney and the monorail that can take you right Into the park close to tomorrow land. When you drive up you can select to have valet parking or self service parking. The bell is right up front to take your bags in if needed and there is plenty of customer service agents ready to check you in or out. There is a couple gift shops located right inside the hotel to buy souvenirs. The pool in the middle of the three towers has 3 water slides varying in size, 2 swimming pools, and a large hot tub, all with lifeguards on duty. Theres also a tiki bar located next to the pools and serval other activities for hotel guests. The rooms have adequate free space but come with an iron, hair dryer, coffee machine, mini fridge, closet space, and drawers. The toliet is a separate locking door than the tub and sink. All of it with Mickey themes around it. Depending on the room, you can see the firework show from your room. You also get special early access to the parks before the rest of the public can go in. The staff is very friendly.
The staff is really friendly and helpful great food and easy access to the park and downtown Disney great food aptions
I wish they would include parking in the room rate.
First at the holidays I
went disneyland
Goofy's Kitchen Character Breakfast was, as always, a fun and filling experience. With access to 4 different roaming characters along with an all you can eat buffet it is a memorable time which is always enjoyed by my family!
Stayed on the concierge level, which was completely worth it. Complementary snacks and sodas all day, desserts at night. Really tasty. Amazing view of the fireworks.
Beautiful, clean environment. Peaceful setting for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the parks.
This is an excellent hotel, well worth the steep nightly rates. It's the disney original and still has the charm, but with some very nice updates to help keep it fresh. Staff is always so friendly and the pool area and restaurants fantastic. Steakhouse 55 is especially wonderful.
I have stayed at every Disney hotel now in Anaheim. The Disneyland hotel was by far the best one we have stayed at and we will always be staying there from now on. Everyone was so friendly and the beds were super comfy. I definitely give this place the Mrs. Excellence stamp of approval!!
It is magical, many amusements For children, youth and adults
I always come here to get drinks at Trader Sam's. It's an awesome place with no kids
I will start by saying we didn't stay here, but we had brunch at Goofy's Kitchen and it was incredible! It was expensive but worth the money because the choices in food and dessert was extensive, it was delicious with the exception of the More
Went there for a wedding they did an amazing job, even got to meet Mickey!
At the moment you enter that restaurant the waiters give you a nice feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a good place to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good cuisine, skillful chief cook and stuff, good pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.
Expect a Best Western and you will be happy. Last remodeled in early 2000s judging by the TV and decor
As close to perfect as possible. Clean. Friendly staff. Fun. Relaxing. Knowledgeable. Just wish it weren't so expensive /costly
Very well taken care of. Very clean. Friendly staff. Pool is clean. The gardens are very well taken care of. It is the best place I've ever stayed at! Very nice!
Character dining is fun for the kids. The buffet is decent. Of course it's expensive.
Not enough restaurants. I was there for a conference and there was only 2 options for food. Expensive and expensive.
The hotel is nice and original, so it is of historical importance, however, the theme is not like some of the newer hotels like the California hotel. But if you have to try the bar trader Sam's!
The hotel is spotless, such a beautiful place. The bar we went to, Trader Sam's always had great food and awesome drinks. Highly recommend
Overall not a bad stay. Smoke detector went off at 1am in our room, had to call twice and wait for almost 30 minutes for someone to come turn it off. It was so incredibly loud and I couldn't sleep for a couple hours afterwards. The next night I called guest services to ask about in room movies and was told that I could pay $200 to borrow a movie from the clubhouse or something. Nothing was ever offered for our trouble regarding the broken smoke detector. Also, had there actually been a safety issue its alarming that nobody would have been there in a timely matter to help us.
Beautiful hotel, convenient to downtown Disney. Loved the musical, light up headboard, balcony was nice overlooking the pool room 5986. Kitchen, and living room was spacious. Service was horrible however. Customer service really is lacking in the hotel and park. The $ Disney is really lacking here. Spend your money on merchandise and stay just a short walk outside Disney. I would not return to this location, mainly due to the underwhelming customer experience!
Magic? Magical? Yes! We have stayed outside the park and no more. The benefits of magic morning every day and hidden mickey's have us! The pool were amazing staffed with many lifeguards. They encouraged my daughter to go down safely. Movie night was a hit. Cons- which I won't deduct a star were expensive food, expensive milk, expensive beer but that's the price you pay to be at Disneyland hotel.
Nice clean rooms and a fun atmosphere. Great and friendly customer service.
Excellent hotel. The rooms are an excellent size and fit our family of 4. We enjoyed our stay. It is very convenient to walk to both Disneyland and California Adventure.
We weren't there very long, but it was a big, open place for our running expo. Easy to get lost, pricey items, but otherwise perfect - creative events, helpful people and clean.
Went to the bar looking for a famous Disneyland drink and they refused to make it. Ruined my girlfriends 21st.
To whom it may concern,
I was a guess on California Adventure Hotel, last night when I was about to go grab dinner I notice an altercation between a valet parking employee and an uber driver, the valet parking employee s name is Christopher and I saw treating the uber driver and shouting him to leave the property as 2 ladies were on the car with the driver (I believed they requested him), the employee from the hotel without any disregard from the 2 ladies open the door of the car and told them to get out the car since he was concern of their safety ( seriously ) and he offer them a free taxi ride, what I didn t understand is how and employee from a hotel would be concern form this 2 ladies safety when they were the ones requesting the uber ride besides isn t the same thing an uber driver than a taxi driver their safety in both drivers would have been the same.
Anyway one of the managers/ supervisors came outside to see the altercation while the valet parking employee was threaten the uber driver and didn t do absolutely anything to calm his employee the saddest part is that I could see the uber driver was upset and worry about the reaction of the hotel employee, honestly I don t know what push the hotel employee to act this way and threaten the driver I mean he was only doing his job of picking up a consumer that requested his services.
Went to Trader Sam's for drinks at the Disneyland Hotel. The outside atmosphere is calm and mellow, while the inside is louder and has certain events whenever a particular drink is ordered. The bartenders are great and provide quick service.
I came here expecting a solid Disney hotel experience. I'm generally accustomed to hotels in Disney world. There were broken lights in the room. The drain in the shower was rusted, customer support was nice but could not offer the same accommodations that I would get from a Disney world hotel. If I bought something from the store in Disney world, I would be offered to have my purchase delivered to my room. That was not offered here. When I mentioned the difference, I was given the response "this is not Disney world" which was disappointing. It would be one thing if the price was reasonable but they charged a lot for the room. For what I spent, I got a very mediocre experience. The food was great though so I can give a positive review there.
The room for the event was beautiful and elegant--fitting for Dapper Day--and the employees were both lively and helpful.
So overpriced. There really isn't anything magical about the hotel. Rusty light fixtures in the bathroom, none working outlets through out the room, shower handle coming off...
I needed to do laundry one night and when I finally found the laundry room I was shocked at the condition of the little room they had. There were 5 washers and 6 dryers. There were bugs all over the walls and no where to sit within the laundry room. It is $3 per load to wash and $3 for 60 minutes in the dryer. They do also sell soap and dryer sheets ($1 each if I remember correctly). Make sure you have a credit card. They don't use cash.
I definitely won't be staying here again, if I even come back to Disneyland. I would rather pay less and have a better experience somewhere else.
Nice and clean and easy to get to parks. Swimming area nice also.
We came through to eat and shop at the Disneyland hotel and they were amazing! Even the bathrooms are so beautiful. The staff were all super sweet and helpful and the entire place was so clean.
We had a great time. Staff was attentive, and very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The pool was nice, and fun for the kids!!!
This is a great hotel. Good service and close to shopping and dining. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
This place is classy and easy to access. Friendly helpful staff and awesome access to park.
