Went to Trader Sam's inside the hotel courtyard area. Very nice ambience, super friendly wait staff. However, the special effects and loud chanting can get old after a while if you're sitting inside.

Was there for the Father's Day lunch. Though we made a fun day out of it, it lacked Disney magic. The food selection was not up to par. I think for a dad, it wouldn't have to be to fancy, but I feel the Mother's Day had a greater food selection. Maybe an outdoor event with a more physical activities instead of a ballroom would have made a better venue. Service was great and the servers were awesome.

What a magical experience! Any Disney fan should try and stay here at least once in their lifetime. What more can I say? The hotel is very clean and the staff is super helpful so you know you have access to the best care possible. Would definitely recommend and will for sure stay here again.

Room was great. Staff great. Great location. But there was no restaurant at the hotel to get breakfast. For a family vacation this is a #fail in my opinion. You always think of those amazing breakfast bufets, but not at the Disneyland Hotel. Clerk at check-in desk suggested getting breakfast at Starbucks at downtown Disney. Not exactly what I was hoping for. Perhaps staying at Grand Californian next time as I heard they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet.

Had a fun walk around the hotel since I haven't been there in many years. Was great seeing all the updates and the displays of Disney history. Shopping there was nice and not as crowded as Downtown Disney.

Went to Trader Sam's for a drink and a ahi poke to go. Bartender ignored me for a good bit and completely missedy food order somehow. The place isn't the same when Ron isn't the bartender. Took my drink to go and headed to Tangaroa Terrace to get my food instead. Service and food was great. Atmosphere wasn't what I wanted, but got the job done.

It was my first time at any Disney resort/park. The staff was super welcoming and went out of their way to make me a first time visitor button! (Since they were out of the regular ones). Awesome experience through the whole thing

Walking distance to the parks was nice, the room had good amenities. We stayed two nights, but both days we came back to the room during the hottest part of the day for a break, and because of our two-hour nap, our room was never cleaned.

Very fancy hotel. Staff was great.Only complaint was pool / hottub hours. They close way to early and we stayed at the parks most days till 10 pm. Hottub was closed by then. Adults don't need supervision and soaking in a hot tub after walking all day was greatly missed opportunity.

If you're in the market for a classic Disneyland experience look no further than the original Disneyland Hotel. This was my first time to the resort and staying right on property was great. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable about the different theme parks and really improved my trip. The perks you get for staying here is great too for example the extra magic hour we got during our stay allowed us to get a boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance which is a must do!

This was a very fun, magical experience for our family! There were a few minor things that I wouldn't have expected at this hotel: our toilet seat was loose, and the toilet tissue roll was attached to the wall behind the toilet, so every time I reached for it, the seat moved and I thought I was going to fall off; and, as I was taking a shower, the water kept getting cold and hot again like when someone flushes the toilet. That being said, the parks outweigh the minor maintenance issues. I would recommend this hotel 100%, and I will stay here again if I great the chance.

This hotel is super fun. It is great for the entire family. It is super close to the Disneyland park so it is within walking distance. It is connected to Downtown Disney which contains a ton of fun shops and restaurants. This is the original hotel of Disneyland and it has pretty recently been updated so the rooms are super nice. Everything always looks super clean and the staff is AMAZING.

Great hotel with great staff. Compared to the other Disneyland hotel properties, this one is my favorite. The Grand Californian is too busy and dark for my tastes. The Paradise Pier just feels like a lower tier with staff that isn't as accommodating. The only issue is the far walk between towers. Easy access to Downtown Disney with great shopping and restaurants. Love this place! The gift shop with tons of Disney goods is open late as well. Beatiful property as well. Love the decor...like the teacup tables in the lobby.

Clean but nothing magical as they say. pay 600 for one night and no breakfast is given.
They are very outdated.
The only parent scheme you go walking through the parks and you avoid queues ... If you only sleep and there are other cheaper

We had a great stay. We pre checked in without issue so we could get our park tickets and they actually found us an early room which was appreciated. On our second night my youngest vomited all over the bed at midnight and someone came right away to clean it without issue and even made sure we had extra towels. Excellent stay.

Well I just went to the Tiki Bar in the hotel. It's a fun bar. Not much seating inside but a nice patio with more seats. They don't have any area at the bar that is easy to walk up to and order drinks. I guess they mostly want to encourage just table service. But given how crowded it is that was not an option for us. The drinks are pretty creative. Only tried a few, but if I'm ever back I'll stop in here again to try more.

The food is good. The kids had a blast. It is quite expensive I must say. $320 including tax for 5 persons (10 year-old counting as adult!) is a bit steep. Besides, the menu does not justify the price. Overall though, it is Disneyland and one should expect a taxing adventure on the wallet.
