I took my family to Pop Century two years in a row to enjoy a nice 7 day vacation. I was planning on making Pop Century a family trip every year but after our recent trip, I can t see us ever going back! To begin with, staff is so miserable, we got treated like the only thing that mattered was the money in my pocket, I know that s what it comes down to but shouldn t you be treated nicely while spending your money? It was obvious that Management do not care about you having a nice stay as when we complained, they couldn t care a less! We experienced the rudest Disney bus driver, wow! How this guy had a job I ll never know!, ripped off for snack credits, an overall terrible experience at Pop Century Resort. We went to Universal Studios one day and that was the best we were treated during our whole vacation, I guess I will be looking into staying there next time.
So much for a Magical time! Avoid this place!

Rooms are no where near worth what you pay for. Like legit this is not worth what I paid. Rooms don t even have carpets, only thing that is really good is the bathroom. Other than that the too might as well be a motel 6. Also the bar Petals is not open during the day so not day drinking. What a bunch of regards

Pop Century is a very budget friendly hotel where you get all of the Disney amenities at a much lower price than some of the other Disney properties. But you do get what you pay for... The first con is transportation. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the busses, but it is about a 15 minute bus ride to the Magic Kingdom... And that's assuming you can get onto the bus right away. The rooms are TINY. I had to constantly remind myself that the goal is to spend as little time in the room as possible. But with two adults, two kids, and an infant, it was very difficult to function. The saving grace was that the beds are fairly high off of the ground, so we could put our suitcases underneath them to save space. Overall, I would not mind staying at this location again. But if I had the choice (and the money) I would stay at a closer resort...

I was on the fence about staying on the premises but I am glad we did. It is very convenient to get around. The room is nice enough. There is no coffee maker and the mini fridge does not have a freezer section. Also, the comforters are very thin so I cant sleep in a cold room as Im accustomed to.

Very comfortable for a small family or group of friends. Always a good movie to watch on tv and a nice pool and food to go along with it. Food and gifts in the sizable gift shop aren't cheap, but it's Disney after all! Affordable with great service. I will be coming back here next time.

Parking was a little far. Food was expensive and not great. Service is slow. By the time we got the food and waited in line to pay and got to our seats the food was cold. Too expensive to eat cold food.

The room was small, there was no microwave, and the television had the worst channels. The beds were uncomfortable and after a long day of walking and waiting at the parks, it was not an ideal place of which to come back. It was very outdated and didn't really feel like I was at Disneyworld. The was literally only one Disney decoration in the room. If I ever return, I will not be staying at this resort. I kind of feel jipped out of the full Disney experience, everything else was wonderful. The cafeteria was terrible. I stayed in the 50s section and I feel like more could have been done with the aesthetic. If you do book pop century, make sure you get a renovated room and be very specific about for what you ask.

Laid back atmosphere. Comfortable beds. Not 5 star but clean. Friendly staff. Two swimming pools with lifeguard. Not very good food (tried scrambled eggs, watery sausage, mediocre homefries with unnecessary cheese). Would go again but not eat there!

I've stayed in all the All-Star resorts, Pop Century is much nicer than those. This is a spot for kids, if you don't have kids or don't like them then this isn't a spot for you. If you have kids, they'll love it! Nice restaurant with a variety of food to choose from. 3 pools. Free WiFi.

Fun place to stay. Room was very clean and the bathroom/shower was excellent. The pool areas were always tidy during the 5 days we were there. Oh and the food quality is quite good considering the tons of food they must go through. We had the dining plan so all meals at the resort is considered counter service (it s not served to you at your table).

I love staying at Pop Century! To me, it has the perfect balance of amenities and savings. When we go to Disney, we use the resort for sleeping and relaxing. Between the three pools, the outdoor bar, and the atmosphere, this place is perfect for us!

This is our second visit to Pop Century. We were assigned one of the refurbished rooms and we are very happy with it. While the room itself hasn't changed size wise, the layout is much improved with plenty of storage for all of our stuff. The bed is very comfortable and there are plenty of soft pillows available. Our only complaint with this visit was with check in. We tried the early check-in online but it was not available when we arrived, which was 30 minutes after the regular check-in time. After we got our room, we had to hunt down our grocery order, which was waiting for us in a different room. Of course, Disney did a nice job straightening everything out, but after a long flight, waiting for our room and searching for our groceries was the last thing we wanted to do. It's a small thing and we are very happy with the new room. It's the best of the value resorts and I easily recommended it.

If anyone is trying to find bargain deals for hotel rooms go to . made a reservation for a hotel room on there and these guys had the lowest rates any where!

What a wonderful place to stay! Everyone is so nice and friendly and even with this whole Covid 19 mess it was still a magical experience. Clean rooms, good food and great staff. Will definitely be back again!

Really cool resort, lots of interesting things to look at in the lobby and outside. Good service, and the buses to the parks are super convenient. The hotel rooms themselves are pretty plain, but it's what you expect from a lower end hotel in Disney.

We've been to Pop Century twice, and have been happy with resort both times. While a "value" resort, it's still Disney prices but you're getting everything you need. Shuttles are regular (although stops at the park tend to be the last ones), the rooms are nice (we had a Murphy bed set up in ours), and service is very good. The food court - while busy much of the morning and evening - offers a decent selection, but if you're not happy you can cross over a bridge and use the Art of Animation food court. The pools are all decent sized, with the 80s/90s one being a little quieter. There's no fitness center here but there is a nice running trail that goes around the "lake" separating Pop Century and Art of Animation.

Overall if you're looking for the Disney Resort experience but don't want to completely kill your budget, Pop Century serves as a great base camp.

Room renovations were very nice, two queen beds instead of full beds is a big improvement. We were on the first floor and didn't hear our upstairs neighbors at all, which was a concern with the change to hard flooring. Bus lines were quite long in the mornings, though they were usually sending tons of busses. They did charge me for parking even though I didn't have a car, which I had to go to the front desk and contact billing to get removed from my bill.

My family stayed here for a week in December and we loved our stay. In fact, we were so happy that we already booked our rooms again for next December!
The rooms are on the smaller side and look very dated, but honestly we were only in the room to sleep and that's it. Why stay at a more expensive resort when you are spending the whole day at the parks?
The food was decent but nothing to write home about but we did buy the meal plan which was a life saver.
The staff were all amazing and made us feel special which is not usual for a hotel.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be staying again soon.

My family of 4 stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort on August 7th to the 10th. Our check in process was very easy. I used the online check in ahead of time and my room was ready about 30 minutes before I got there. I went straight to my room and everything was clean and sanitized. My family and I had a park reservation for each day we were there. We went to the Everything Pop Shopping Store and my fiance wanted to purchase a loungefly back pack for me from behind the counter. The cast member that was behind that counter out right refused to sell him the bag and then proceeded to ignore him. The new house keeping services are not up to disney standards and I have seen better in low budget motels. They do not change your bedding at all during your stay and they didn't check to see if we needed more soap in our bathroom. They didn't give any towels and I had to call for them twice. I would expect that after being in theme parks for days on end that they would change the bedding so your not sleeping in the germs you bring in from the park. On check out day I went to the front desk with my 2 complaints and the cast member was disinterested and wrote me off with her body language. I love staying at Disney and I love pop century but the new procedures are a bit much and they need to rethink them.

Property is immaculate! They have rigorous Covid cleaning protocol and standards. The rooms are modern...but relatively small as US hotel rooms go for the price per night. A queen bed and a Murphy bed pull down. Overall, with location and close proximity to Disney Springs and WDW...it was reasonable because the complimentary shuttle helps to offset the cost of a rental car and daily resort parking. Good hotel for families.

Good hotel with decent amenities. Probably going to be spending most of your time at the parks anyway so don't need to break the bank at the high end hotels. The food court is great, but can be busy at peak times. The grounds are kept up to Disney standards with three quality pools. The rooms are in the process of being renovated and the new rooms are very nice with queen size beds. This is a great place to stay on your Disney vacation.

The online menu is a lie. You get no variety of any kind in the food court and are better off hitting a drive thru. Every night we had walk across to Art of Animation just to get something edible, because the food at pop is just reheated garbage. The bathrooms don't have tub just a shower. I'm so disappointed with this resort that I joined The Disney Vacation Club just so I never have to stay at this horrible resort again.

Nice rooms at a reasonable rate with all the disney thrills thrown in. The walls of the room are a bit thin, you can hear a lot from the other rooms. However, after a day at the park, you are tired enough to sleep well in the comfy bed!

We stayed in a recently renovated building and the room was nice (although we had to wait almost 2 hours after checking in to go to our room because they were still cleaning that area). I was excited to stay at a Disney property because of the ease getting to and from the parks. But since the hotel property is very large, we had to wait for the bus and weren't always able to get on the first one that came by (bus was the only way to get to the parks - no monorail from this location).

We were on a budget and needed a place to stay while at Disney. This place is the bottom of the barrel for Disney and is a total dive. RESORT should be removed from the title. Its a hotel with a pool. THATS IT! If you can afford to, either upgrade or stay off Disney Property.

The rooms were relatively clean. My wife found a bag of moldy cucumbers in the fridge, but that was the only issue. Bed is comfortable, but the pillows are a little flat. Overall a good experience, a great way to stay at Disney on a budget.

This is definitely not a 3 star hotel at least in the experience or service you get.
Perhaps if you find a very very cheap deal and you don t have kids then maybe, but if you have children then stay out of this hotel.
I have been to a lot of Disney hotels and have never written a bad review on Disney before, but felt that this could help other people from booking without reading all reviews.
I am shocked now to see all this good reviews, but when I read the negative ones, I feel that they are very right. Here is a list of issues we had

- very very noisy, woke my kids up several times from partying, and twice by the maid service knocking on our door by mistake (unknown reason), and the sound of mowing grass (when you have an infant you wil want to sleep past 8 am), the walls are thin and you can hear anything going on around you

- the hotel is it suitable for families with an infant.
The door to the bathroom does not lock from
The outside and we spent all our time trying to have our wandering 1 year old away from the bathroom
In such a small room it is very difficult

- front desk was rude. I have asked for a birthday celebration package that never arrived
They instead came and knocked heavily on our door to give us a small card

- pools were cold - we were told they are are heated and I don t think they were

All in all - save your money and book somewhere else.

It's a great value resort that has a moderate resort feeling with all the newly renovated rooms. Its a great resort for everyone, there are plenty of paths to walk, close to Art of Animation, and a short distance to some of the Disney Parks! They now serve DOLE Whip!!

We haven't spent much time in our room this week. It's a good place to sleep and shower, comfortable beds. The gasket on the refrigerator was broken, but we didn't bother to ask the front desk for a new one. Overall good experience, I would stay there again.

Overall this is not a Hilton quality which we are use too when we travel. Main bed was comfortable but room was rushed to be clean but the staff worked extra hard to make available a room since we arrived from a super early morning flight. Attention to detail is lacking as our room when we arrived the floors were not mopped. Bed was clean but the pull down bed was completely uncomfortable. TV was new and spacious and bathroom although tight had nice fixtures. Guest services failed to respond on several occasions to our requests.

This is one of the more affordable resorts at Disney (if you don't consider camping an option!) and it isn't jam-packed with amenities, but for the price I didn't care. The rooms were somewhat unspectacular, but with park hours having us leave at 7 am to get in line to open the park, and coming home between 11pm and 1am just to do it all again the next day, I would have felt silly paying out my ears for a premium resort. We were even able to opt out of mousekeeping and they gave us a Disney gift card in exchange. There was a little snafu with a package I had delivered from Amazon while we were there. I went to the front desk and they were unable to find it. The guy went overboard to try to find it, including checking the ENTIRE mailroom for it, and then launched an investigation into all of the runners and their carts to see if they could find it. They didn't, but he credited me the value of the package and a little extra to my room account, which I thought was fantastic customer service. Then, they found the package. The pools are great, the everything store has a lot of useful stuff and merchandise, the food court has lots of tasty options. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a Disney stay on property but is on a budget.

Nice place. Would have been 5 stars. However, they screwed up with our bags. We dropped off at 10AM to be delivered to room. Upon 9pm return they were not in room. Then after calling it took a good 30 minutes for them to arrive.
Disappointed in that. I expected more from Disney.

Similar to the All Star Resorts this is a good value hotel. Great for kids as there is lots to see. There is a pool close by as well as a small play area. Like other Disney hotels there are scheduled activities for kids on different days and times. Must like kids to stay here! And large groups of people!

First stay at Pop Century after two previous stays at sister resort Art of Animation. Love them both equally. Plenty of things to explore and sights to see on the resort grounds. Lots of pools and amenities, especially for the kids. The food here is just as good as most other quick service options. We stayed in the seventies fairly close to the main building. Rooms were clean, well maintained each day, and service was always friendly and helpful. The noise levels were a little high but nothing unexpected and it didn't bother us at all. It is Disney and everyone is here to enjoy themselves! We would definitely stay again.

Not a big fan of this end of the resort. We were there with family that didn't want to spend a lot on the hotel accommodations, so we settled on the bargain hotel...big mistake.

Not only did the porter's lose baggage, but one of the rooms was occupied by a guest that just decided to not leave Disney. So, there was a mixup and they didn't get a room until about 8:00 at night. We had gotten there around 2.

The debacle continued as we put our 2 year old down to bed and were in the ajoining room when a porter entered the room our daughter was sleeping in (we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door), dropped the luggage, turned on the lights, and started leaving.

I had seen the start of this on the baby monitor and was heading towards the room via the hallway when I intercepted the porter in the hall coming out of the room.

How would you feel if a complete stranger entered a room your daughter was sleeping in when a "do not disturb" sign was on the door? I wasn't totally sure who this guy was and grabbed him up asking who he was and what business he had in my room. We sorted it out and it turns out he put the luggage in the wrong room all together...wrong floor even. The main concern was this was after our family members with the wrong assigned room had entered that room where the couple decided to stay at Disney.

The hotel tried to be accommodating but didn't really do anything other than send our daughter a stuffed Moana doll as a sorry for the issue.

I guess that it all comes back to when I was 10, my family stayed at the Grand Floridian and it was nothing short of amazing. Comparing the two hotels is pretty rough because there really isn't a comparison.

When our daughter is a bit older we will probably be coming back to Disney...just not this resort.
