I have really enjoyed my stay at the Pop Century Resort. The rooms are newly renovated, the beds are comfy, and the bathrooms are spacious! The restaurant is great and the staff is exceptional. They work very hard to make your stay the best it can be!

I wish I loved it. We paid extra for a closer nicer room and ended up in some back alley facing buses. The room itself had barely any storage space like other explained. Pretty sure we were in an ADA room as everything was low to floor. We asked for another room in any other section (since it's the off peak we thought odds were good) we were told there was nothing available...

Stayed there with my family while visiting the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The rooms were clean, though the food on site was very expensive. You can have a better meal for the fraction of the cost outside of the hotel. Aside from that it's a fantastic place to stay while visiting the parks.

Service was great. Our room was originally one of the non-refurbished rooms, but the woman at the front desk easily and happily swapped us into a brand new room. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Great value resort if you want a budget-friendly option without breaking the bank. It is Disney-owned so you can easily hop on the bus to any of the Disney parks! I give it 3 stars because of personal preference - i did not find the beds comfortable at all.

I love this resort! The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful. My only complaint is now there is no bathtub. A week with a 2 year old who is freaked out by a shower made for some interesting bathing.

Compared to other value options (especially the All-Stars), this resort is clearly a winner. Much quieter, with fun theming, it is a great option. The Skyliner connection coming later this year makes it an even better place to stay.

All that being said, I'll still likely splurge on a moderate resort if not traveling solo in the future. The rooms are larger, plus the amenities and room service are noticeably better.

It's a budget room but it doesn't skimp on amenities. It's great because you don't have to spend much since you'll spend most of your time at the parks. The food court here is really good. The staff, like everywhere else in Disney, are great.

Our refrigerator quit working 2 days into our trip we lost our food. The last day I was woke up at 8:30am by room service asking us to leave. We asked to sleep until 11 at checkout due to being in urgent care during that night. We didn t have any sleep. They came back at 10:30 knocking on our door rushing us out again. Then the concierge was rough with our belongings and broke our luggage handle. We watched him break it and he denied breaking it. He was rude. He would not help fix it. We had to carry our large suitcase through the airport without a handle.

This resort is the best bang for your buck without moving up to the moderate resorts. This is especially true now that the rooms have been updated. They now have hard floors with a modern design and a 50" Samsung TV. There is also a small refrigerator. Don't forget to request a lake or pool view room.

Bring house slippers/flip flops- the tile floors are nice but turned my feet black after taking a shower immediately upon arrival. It's winter so I didn't bring any slide-on shoes and wish I'd had them. For less than $100/night, you really can't beat booking here, the shuttle buses, extra hours at the parks, and free parking made it worth staying. No privacy, you can hear every toilet flush and door sliding open/shut. Rooms are smartly decorated and laid out to maximize the small room size- the murphy bed doubled as the table and chairs, and there was a sliding door between the room itself and the sink room (then another door for the water closet, of course). Wish more hotels did that. The hotel itself has a cute theme. Little rough around the edges in the corridors to rooms, a pizza box (delivered to a room two doors down) sat beside our door for two days and the stairwell smelled strongly of dog (saw a couple staying with a dog who was relieving itself in the grass right by the rooms, so I guess that explains it), just little things that you wouldn't think would be a part of the whole Disney schtick. Still overall pleased with the value.

Loved my stay at POP! The rooms are renovated and lovely! The food court is very accommodating for food allergies, the chef will come and explain what is safe and make it separate for you. Only complaint is that the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbor.

We love staying here. My kids absolutely love it as it is very kid friendly. We are going again in June, and i can't wait to see the new rooms. It's a large resort, which can be very busy. However, once inside our room it seems quiet. Rooms are small, but more than adequate. Food court has a good selection, but can be very busy. Try to eat at off times. Gift shop is great! Pools are clean, and big, with very attentive life guards on duty. Busses run at intervals to all parks. Check in process is pleasant and quick (i am trying on-line check in this time). I have always found the cast members very friendly and helpful. My kids loved the arcade. Highly recommended this resort.

The hotel was very clean, and the room was very comfy. Check-in couldn't be easier. The transportation to the park was reliable. There is also a cafeteria, the food is similar to the other hotels if you've stayed. The food was better than I expected. For the price, there's really nothing I could complain complain about. I definitely recommend staying here if you're on a budget!

I really can't say anything negative about this hotel. The price is affordable, the location and transportation to and from the parks is convenient, the beds were comfortable, the newly renovated rooms were beautiful, clean and have the most amazing showers! The cafeteria has chefs who are experienced and knowledgeable with those who needs special dietary attention. (I have celiac, and they made me fresh pancakes and waffles in the morning for breakfast. They prepare allergy foods in the back to avoid cross contamination. They also offer gluten free buns for burgers or chicken sandwiches, as well as offer plant based options, vegan options, dairy free and much much more!!) The hotel IS busy...its geared towards kids, so if you're looking for a super quiet hotel, maybe look for one off the beaten path. Choose this one if you want an affordable, fun, accommodating and newly renovated one!! They have amazing pools located conveniently throughout the hotel property as well as a very cool gift shop filled with Disney themed goodies!! Would definitely stay here again!! Everyone here was also very friendly.

Good location. The room was clean and it was a good option for a budget Disney resort. However, the prices for food and drinks are pretty ridiculous. $10 for golden corral quality mac & cheese in the cafeteria and $4.50 for a bottle of water, but that's par for the course when dealing with the mouse. Even a vending machine soda is $3.50. This is property is a good option if you stock up a cooler at Publix first! We live within 45 minutes of Disney so we only stayed at the property for a weekend getaway and did not visit the parks. If you plan to spend the majority of your time at the resort please know that the pools are modestly sized and there is significant construction going on near the 80s/70s building. The parking lot on that side is full of containers and equipment. We also visited the arcade and about 30% of the games were offline. We had a good time, so just keep your expectations in line with the price point an he you won't be disappointed.

It is by far our favorite place to stay in Disney World. The location is central to all venues, the bus is direct instead of making multiple stops, and the cast members are some of the best. Add that to half the price of the next-tier resorts, and it's a winner.

Nice cheap place to stay during Disney. Never had a bad experience and there are plenty of pools to swim in. Nothing is too bad of a walk either. Only downside is it's mostly outside but that's only a problem if you plan on exploring the hotel for a day.

Pop Century was a great hotel. It just shows you that Disney can be economical too! I have always stayed at the condo type Disney Resorts, so a room was very different, but it was fresh, clean and still had the "magic"!!

Is the best! We've tried other Disney resorts but the long bus rides were just to much. Pop has one big bus stop for everyone right in front. Easy-Peasy! It can be busy and because it's a value resort can attract some obnoxious patrons, but the Disney staff as in everywhere else in the park is just above and beyond. They are amazing!! When you get back from the parks off of the buses they are there to greet you and welcome you "home". The smell of the foyer of Pop is nostalgic and happy. We love the Pop...just avoid any Disney resort during the cheerleading nationals or spring break. Your vacation will be ruined!

It was as clean as you'd expect any Disney resort to be. You also get what you expect from a value resort; crowded food court, crowded buses, etc. All in all a nice resort as long as you can tolerate the long waits for food and drink.

We ordered groceries that were delivered to bell services on our arrival day. It took the hotel 3 days to finally deliver both of the bags to our room. Other than that our stay was really good. The food court has a lot of options. If you ask about it at the front desk, you can opt out of housekeeping for a $10 gift card for ever night except for the last one.

Overall it was a pretty good experience for an economy resort. I stayed at Coronado last year and you can definitely tell the difference in quality (that being a moderate resort). My only real complaint is that the cafeteria locks up at 12am and sometimes you are getting back from the parks after that and it makes it impossible to get a drink before bed.

We stayed here for our 10 day vacation and most of the trip was great. We had issues with our room being cleaned consistently, not usually a big deal but when you have diapers that take up the small trash cans then you don't have a lot of room for other trash.

The rooms were absolutely fine for the price. Did not seem out dated or anything and honestly you should be at the park all day anyway! Had big pool for the guest, nice park right next to the pool and inside had a very large area for eating different types of food. Enjoy!

Nothing special, basic room, cheesy decor, 3 themed pools. Overpriced because its Disney. At least you have all the shuttles to the parks and Disney Springs. Save the money and stay at the all-star resorts. Exact same layout, but you have to share the shuttles with the other all-star resort.

It was just OK. The Food in the restaurant was ok, if it was hot it might be better. Bed was ok.. Seemed understaffed, wanted for 30 minutes at the front desk for help with issues. Tried to check out and gave up after 40 minutes... Will not stay there again.

The rooms are standard hotel rooms with no frills. For the cost they were about right. The beds were comfortable. The pool and kids entertainment were good. The only complaints we had were we wished there was a coffee maker in the room and my kids would have loved seeing some Disney characters at the hotel like they have at Legoland. As an aside, if you are staying at the hotel longer than a couple days purchase the free refill mug. It's worth it.

We stayed in the 80's building, and I was impressed with the price of the room and with the services offered, too. Barb, Ariel, Ramon, and many others all helped to make our stay as comfortable and happy as possible. The lifeguard training was great, too. We all felt our kids were safe at the pools. They also had an arcade, and a place to watch Disney movies, coloring and to chill, playgrounds, activities (some free, some not), and more. Just strolling around the grounds helped calm our babies down. The shuttle service to and from Disney also rocks, and they have many food options here. Give Pop Century a try if you're interested in staying on site at Disney for your vacation.

We stayed here a few years ago and even since that time they've made some major upgrades. We stayed in the 90s section this time and everything was very efficient, clean, and impressive considering the price. There was a small mini-fridge, a bed that folded up to produce a table, and very nice pocket doors for the bathroom so the adults can get ready while the kids are still asleep. Considering how expensive things at Disney can be, this seemed like a reasonable value; even the vending machine Cokes (20 oz) were only $1.25. Overall, it's certainly not the fanciest accommodation but it certainly beats most "average" hotels that you would stay in while traveling. Then again, most people don't go to Disney to sit in the hotel.

Had a great stay here! The only issue was the refillable cups. We purchased one but then it didn't seem like it was necessary because the current refill system was not checking if people had cups or receipts at all. All of the food we had from the food court was good. The garlic sauce for the fries is AMAZING.

Pleasantly surprised at this resort and our room. It has exceeded my expectations. The room feels newly remodeled. Disney has thought of everything. It is decorated in a 50s mid-century modern style but with modern conveniences such as many charging ports for your devices, foldable furniture, sliding doors and nooks and crannies for every doodad you brought along.

A nice, and relatively cheap place to stay while having fun at the parks! The rooms themselves are fairly small, but plenty big enough for a family of four. The food court is pretty good, and it stays open late. Recommended for families that want to spend most of the days at the parks.

When staying at a Disney value resort you have to ...

When staying at a Disney value resort you have to start by adjusting your expectation to what you booked - its a value for a reason. So there will be no sit down restaurants or hot tubs or fancy rooms. But there were three clean warm pools, a room that was clean with a comfortable bed, a hot shower, kind service, and cheap (for disney) cafeteria food. We got a great deal online packaged with our tickets, and the free resort transportation meant no need for a car. The location is good, and the benefit of this resort over the All Stars was the view of the lake - which made is feel just a little more open and connected to nature. The new balance running trail was great for an evening stroll!

Staying at a value resort was all about expectation. We weren't expecting to spend a lot of time at the resort - we wanted to be in the parks! So a place to sleep was enough for us. If you have young kids, and spend less hours in the park, or want hot tubs or nicer pools for lounging in the sun, than pay more for a moderate resort. But we were happy to spend those extra $$ on Dole Whip and Souvenirs.

I would stay here again, though after walking through the Art of Animation across the street (which has amazing theming!) I would be likely to give that one a trip for a few more dollars. But if you are on a budget, the Pop Century will treat you right and give you access to the Disney experience - which is the best part!

Facility is great, plenty of unique pieces on the grounds. Giant Foosball players, giant big wheels, yo yos. Really neat pool and great pool bar. Really makes your trip to Disney. I think it brings the park outside the park. Food choices are great, pizza at night is clutch. I'd stay there again.
