This would be our first time staying at the Disney's Pop Century Resort. Their Lobby is loaded full how to find cool interesting things to check out. The staff is very friendly and very helpful the grounds are very well kept. We really enjoyed our stay there the beds were absolutely comfortable plenty of pillows and blankets anything that you could need for great night sleep. The only issue that we had we're a couple of cheerleaders and banging on the door of the neighbor which is out of their control at 1 in the morning. It's almost impossible to get a room down there for this particular weekend as there was around 950 groups have cheerleaders for some National Cheer off. Most of the resorts were completely packed so we were lucky to get this room. We were very pleased though with the stay and we'll definitely be looking back into this Resort for future stays. Thank you Pop Century for a great night sleep and your hospitality.

This was our second time staying at Disney's Pop Century resort and I hate to say the lesser of the two experiences. The biggest two issues for us this time was that our Mousekeeping services were much lower quality than before and one day we returned to the resort at 5pm and they still had not gotten to our room so we went without. Second this time the food quality had gone steeply downhill, on our last trip we specifically ate at the Pop Century food court as the food was well made, had wide variety and large portions. This time the was very limited.choice and small portions of mostly unhealthy greasy food... still a great place to stay but a steep downhill from just 3 years ago...

Pop Century does not provide microwaves ( Due to Covid not even in dining hall) You can make oatmeal (more filling than sugar cereal) with the coffee maker's hot water. Also a 1/2 gallon of milk from the dining hall is about $3. While a single serving is $4 or a kid size is $2. Bring your own breakfast cereal & disposable silverware and save time and $ on 1 meal. Bring your own Anti-bacterial or foaming hand soap. The body wash in locked to the shower wall and little kids aren't always good with bar soap. The Pop Century provides life jackets for littles and since they are soaked in Bleach water (chlorine) they are clean. The playground & arcade are closed right now but there are free movies under the stars, fireworks on tv, Disney Bedtime stories TV channel and riding the new gondola back and forth is a free ride in and of itself! Plan to walk around the resort and take pictures by all the "big stuff" try out Twister, ping pong or look for ducks and snails and lizards for free :) Swim in all 3 pools. Get a squished penny for 51 cents. I also saw a mom letting her kid pick up "Treasures" as souvenirs. (rocks, bark, etc) There are no Stickers right now, but you can still get a free pin! The murphy Bed/ table & chair combo and sliding barn doors make the rooms very use-able. Tons of storage! You don't actually want a pool-side room. They are too noisy :) It is a long walk to main hub/dining hall/stores etc. so plan accordingly. Make sure to grab silverware, condiments and and extra towels from the pool etc. to prevent having to go back for things. There are drinks & snacks vending on alternating floors. (I thought they only had drinks, but then noticed snacks was on level 2)
Your room only gets maid service every 2 days so make make a total mess :) These rooms give you the disney theming and not having to worry about transportation is worth the extra charges. They really make it so simple! We usually stay off site, but now we will ALWAYS stay at a disney resort.

Their pools were good but the employees were not very helpful and when we were told about our package we were not told everything and when we got here it was a total different story we didn't even find out about the magic bands until the day before we came all in all I would not stay here again most of the food sucked only thing that was good there was the pizza nobody was very helpful bad experience for the the two kids we brought 3 years for this

Newly remodeled value restort. The staff and amenities are nice. Great option for staying on Disney property without spending an exorbitant amount of money. The only down side is after a long day in the parks, the Pop Century bus stop is always the furthest walk at any of the parks and tends to have the longest wait.

My experience at Disney's Pop Century was excellent. The rooms were well kept when I left for the parks. My location of the room relitive to the lobby and cafeteria were not idea due to the distance and time consumed making the journey. The workers that clean the rooms spoke few words of English but, did a decent job. The resort was within a few minute so all the parks.

It's a budget resort but still well featured for those people that will be in their rooms primarily for sleep. The rooms have been redesigned to feature a king sized bed, plenty of plugs and a sliding door for the large bathroom. The biggest headache is really the drink cups can only be used in the cafeteria style restaurant. Which is often a decent ways away from your room.

A motel 6 hotel at Comfort Suite prices...if you are looking for a relaxing environment this us not the place for you. Very crowded, rooms small, no microwave or clock. We checked in and discovered our floors very dirty, called desk and housekeeping cleaned our rooms the following day. We also had a clean towel on our towel rack which we went to use and after opening the towel discovered fresh blood. My daughter is a RN and she knows what fresh blood on a towel looks like. Staff very polite and helpful. Cafeteria food was good. Transportation ran regularly and drivers helpful. But investigate hotel options off campus who provide free transportation and you may discover you get more for your money.

They sent 1 bus in 1 hour to animal kingdom during park hopping hours. They have the worst transportation out of all the resorts I can see other resorts sending multiple busses the art of animation hotel which is right next to it has had 4 busses since we have been waiting

This used to be our go to resort. Last time we went there was a large group of Brazilian teens there that ran the place. They blocked up the food lines and let each other cut. They chanted and screamed all night and early morning. The most frustrating part was Disney did absolutely nothing about it. I think next time we will stay at the Marriot properties where all guests are treated equally.

Very good value for money, especially on-property at a Disney park. Excellent staff. Regular shuttle service between hotel and all Disney parks, including waterparks. Good amenities on-resort well if you're taking a by-day from the parks. Navigation between Pop Century's numerous buildings can be cumbersome.

Love the remodeled rooms. Just wish there was a tad more theming. We are fortunate to have a room close to the lobby and food court/gift shop. If you are in some of the 90s rooms or 50s rooms, you could be in for a hike. If you book a pool view room, they play music from 9am to 9pmish. Not a huge deal and not too too loud, but something you should be aware of. Breakfast after 800am is pretty busy. Hourglass Lake has a nice path to take walks. Food court pretty standard, but with decent selection and good quality. You can also walk over to Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation for more variety of food choices. There are 3 pools each with restrooms and laundry facilities. Used room service for pizza which was actually pretty good. Room service runs 4pm to midnight. Think pub grub and you will kind of know what's available. Plenty of parking, but there is a nightly fee that you will be charged.

Nice affordable resort at Disney. Rooms have been newly renovated and are nice. Not big but still plenty of space. Big pools with lots of dining options. Great way to travel to Disney for a reasonable amount. We paid about $140 a night for a 2 queen bed room.

Settled in the midst of Disney's property, Pop Century offers a walk down memory lane with memorabilia and decor from the 50s thru 90s. Choose which decade to stay in and your room will reflect the kitch of the day- and the main hall has some excellent items to share with your kids. Food is top notch, and activities abound at this affordable option in Disney!

The renovated rooms are significantly nicer than the old rooms were. There are now 2 queen beds, but one is a Murphy bed. There isn't as much open space left in the room now because of that, but it still fits 4 pretty comfortably. The food from the cafeteria is pretty good most of the time, but it can get crowded. Same with the buses to and from the park. Depending on where you are and where you're going you may have to wait for a bit to get on a bus. In general a great place to stay for a lot less than the other resorts.

We stayed in one of the upgraded rooms and what a difference! We stayed here a few years ago and it was kind of a dump. Now, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are better than the one I have at home. They even have this cool Murphy bed/sitting table that makes the room much more functional. The location is right on Disney property so you have buses to take you to all Disney attractions. The service is decent, except we had to trek to the front desk to get extra towels. However, since Hurricane Irma was about to hit the hotel, I suppose I can give them a pass on that one. Either way, we weathered the storm perfectly, never once losing power. It was a great way to spend a hurricane!

My family and I just returned from our trip to Disney World and we stayed at Pop Century Resort building 1 1950 s era. I will start by saying it was my wife and I plus our 3 year old son. We opened our room to find a very small room with one bed and a table. Upon further inspection we realized the table had a fold up bed inside the wall. Once we payed down the bed the actual space to walk around was non existent. Also one bed which is next to the bathroom has literally 4 space to walk. Needless to say when you wake up to go use the bathroom in the middle of the night you will be bumping into walls. There are 3 drawers for clothes and random cubbies throughout room to try and accommodate the lack of storage. People say well it doesn t matter since you aren t in your room much but on the contrary with a young child we would head back to the hotel around 2 so my son could take a nap. As do many if not all families with small children. We found the room very small for our family of 3 and just basic maneuverability was difficult. There were many families of 4 and even a 5 person family stayed in the room next to us and I know that only 4 can sleep comfortably. The little room becomes cluttered and dirty in an instance but when it comes to getting the room cleaned it s a battle. We only had them clean our room twice over the week stay. Both days we were out of the room at 9 and didn t return until 4. You would think that when arriving back the room would be clean but no neither time. We called front desk and someone was there in about 5 minutes. The craziest thing is after the first cleaning my sons Jessie toy story stuffed animal was missing then the second time 3 days later the Goofy hat we literally just bought for my sons birthday laid on counter while we left room so it could be cleaned and guess what the hat gone. I have pictures with my son and these items in the room both within 30 minutes of them being stolen. Word to the wise. If you do stay here I stress the 1990 s section is the one to stay in. It provides the only area with seclusion and a beautiful lake. The rest of the resort is crowded and bustling. Nowhere pools are nice and were my families favorite part of the resort. Here s a huge thing if you are renting a scooter while staying here. The entire wall of electrical outlets where all scooters are do not work and this is due to water leaking inside wall which fried the entire thing. You will have to plug it in by your room. There are a lot of flaws like when it rains the main walkway to the food, lobby, pool, etc holds water and they have four or five employees trying to squeegee it away. You may save a total of 1000-2000 dollars to stay at this economic resort compared to the mid but you will pay for it in so many ways. Do your research seriously. You pay a lot of money for a vacation you don t want to make my mistake.

The room we have is well kept and tidy. The staff at Pop Century were the first to get us a King Size bed (out of 3 on Disney property vacations). We got our room 2 hours before normal check in. So far, so good!

More affordable than other on property resorts and convenient bus transportation. Getting luggage to the room was a bit tedious and awkward due to parking lot layout. There is a cafeteria store and arcade, several pools. Had a good time overall

The newly remodeled 90's section of Pop feels like a moderate resort. The rooms have a ton of storage space and the 2nd queen sized bed folding up to reveal a table is genius. Mousekeeping is thorough and responsive. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The only downside is the WiFi is spotty and makes video calls home difficult. I will definitely stay here again!

Such a fun and great place to stay. There were alot of groups of travelers( teenagers from all over the world...100s of them) when They got loud and running around late at night, police on premises took care of them!! Pools are great and warm. Staff inside was awesome and very helpful and cheerful.

We've really enjoyed our stay at the resort so far. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very nice. They have a massive cafeteria with loads of food options and some huge pools. Everything is within walking distance and the busses to the parks run frequently. Definitely worth your money.

Refurbished rooms with 2 queen beds (1 of which is a Murphy bed, leaving plenty of living space. Beautiful shower replaced bathtubs (Who takes a bath at Disney?). This place now pushes the boundaries between value and moderate.

Great location. Large gift shop and dining area. Family size pizza is a great value! Arcade games could use some updating. Also, difficult to enter resort using magic band. Hard to reach from the car.

I went last year to Disney and everything was amazing! Loved the arcade games. The room was nice and clean and the main area was nice. I loved the food also. I got my alien from toy story claw machine there to!

Pop Century is a Disney "value" resort. It doesn't have some of the frills or extras you'll find at more expensive properties. For those who are here to spend time at the parks rather than lounge around the resort, Pop Century may be exactly what you're looking for. The dining hall has a more "bare bones" (Disney-style of course) menu than other resorts. The pools are basic without a lot of theming and the rooms are equipped with beds, a TV, and a mini fridge. Overall I enjoy my stays at Pop Century because I'm not here to be pampered at the resort. I'm here to visit the parks. And a cheaper hotel bill leaves me more money to spend at the parks!

Rooms are matchbox small. Not even a closet. Towels and pillows are razor thin. Plastic tissue holders and ice holders. This is a $19.99 per night room NOT a resort. Disney should be ashamed to call this a resort. More and more we see these so called "resorts" in Florida be less quality than a 1 star hotel. Therefore, if they are going to have these types of despicable rooms and then turn around and have the nerve to label them "resorts" they should be called out on it. People don't be afraid to rate these resorts accurately. They are sub standard and that's the honest truth.
Also, people hang out in the outdoor hallways at all hours of the day and night taking indoor chairs outdoors.
Overall, this is no better room than your average Motel 6 room BEFORE they began their remodeling.
Do not stay here if you expect a quality room

Nice Disney resort if you're only planning to sleep. During the day, it's very noisy with kids running up and down the halls and stairwells; walls pretty thin as well. Other than that, housekeeping came everyday, made the bed and refilled toiletries. Comfy beds and roomy suites!

We stayed in the 80's building. My kids loved the oversized memorabilia everywhere, plus the multiple pools to choose from. Rooms were clean and had some nice touches (like lots of outlets), but were also a little bit small.

The place was awesome. Every theme was pretty cool for each decade and the pools/arcane were fun. Only issue I had was that housekeeping kept knocking every hour starting at 7am. Everything else was awesome. Would be nice to have a Starbucks or other coffee shop on site. The cafe coffee was watered down and old.

The people at the desk answered all of my first time questions and updated me on things like luggage location and room concerns. The staff has been fantastic and friendly. The pool was fun and frequent busses to the parks make this a place worth coming back to.

With Disney World being the "Happiest Place on Earth" Pop Century must be the 2nd Happiest Place on Earth. We've been Annual Pass Holder for going on 11 years we got our first passes in 2004 when my son turned 5 and since Pop Century opened that's the only place we stay. We try to go 3 to4 times a year. We love it and recommend it to anyone!!!!!

Like an upgraded motel type place. Location good, of course. Rooms are fine. There is a cafeteria on the grounds, and the food was fair, nothing special. No real complaints but also nothing amazing.

The bedding is less quality than higher level Disney resorts, but it's very clean and super fun. It's usually crowded. Staff are extremely friendly. I would compare the quality to like a holiday inn. But with awesome Disney stuff everywhere.

This is a great resort for families on a budget. Rooms are very clean. Good food court on-site. Everything is well themed. If you have not stayed here you need to try it, and of course you have the Disney "world class " customer service!

The Pop century resort is a bit older. Their rooms have a refurbished section 80s-90s that has queen beds while the older sections have only doubles if you're staying in a standard room. It's nice and clean from what I gathered during my stay, but I will say the cleaning staff doesn't clean under the beds so there is quite a lot of dust and crumbs out there. Not sure how good that is for any potential scavenger bugs. All in all, I think the experience was pleasant as any other Disney resort I would stay at but the price compared to the others, I'd come back to Pop.

Location on Walt Disney World property, owned by and run by Disney. Lower cost than other resorts that are on property, but still very well maintained and service. Service is top notch like you would expect from Disney.

I've been staying at the Pop Century Resort for years now; I couldn't begin to count how many times it has been. While it is nice to stay at one of the Deluxe Resorts now and then, the Pop Century offers a very nice stay at an affordable rate. When I visit WDW I'm not planning to spend all of my time in the room, so I'm looking for a nice room to sleep and shower before hitting the parks again.

The Pop Century offers a good room at a good price and it is close to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, making for a short bus ride. Disney Springs is close as well. It is a little longer of a ride to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, but with the free Disney busses it is still a snap.

I'd recommend trying to get a room in the 1960s block if you can. That's centrally located so it puts you close to dining, shopping, and transportation. The 1990s block is a good option as well, being close to the bus stop (just across the parking lot), and not too far from the dining and shopping.

Currently staying at the Pop Century. Room is small but meets all of our needs. Traveling as a couple this trip. Staff has been very helpful. Bus transportation to and from the parks is working well. You do need to budget extra time since the buses do get full. Overall a good stay so far.

This is absolutely the best Value Hotel at Walt Disney World. The rooms were recently renovated. We struggled a little with housekeeping - we needed extra towels and coffee and housekeeping did not replace what we had on a couple of occasions. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Loved the fun theme, access to the SkyLiner and the room was very nice for a value resort. No microwave in room, you can be roomed pretty far from the main hall/restaurant and people did not respect quiet hours.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Not huge, but for just sleeping and showering do the job more than sufficiently. Large food court with variety of options. Arcade with classic and modern games available (no gambling machines). In a very good location on Disney property, close to 2 of the parks and short bus ride (available for all Disney resorts guests) to all parks.

Close to the pool, trustworthy cleaning crew, nice staff, clean dining area. They did not provide assistance with finding our hotel room, so it took a good half hour of walking around to find it after a long trip to get there. The second issue was that the room was not prepared for us when we got there, so we had to struggle to get the other bed set up. Overall, it was a good experience for adults and they had a lot of activities for the kids.

The newly remodeled rooms look beautiful. I was not impressed with the staff in the Cafe, very rude cashier's. We go at least once a month and have stayed at many resorts but I can say we will not be returning to the Pop Century Resort again willingly. I used to love it but the staff needs much improvement for me to stay.

My husband and I made a quick trip to Disney World and stayed at the Pop Century Resort. It was very clean and fun. In the cafe for breakfast one morning, Stephen, with the coffee cart, ask if we needed anything. Neither of us drink coffee but my husband was interested in some tea. Stephen did not have any on his cart but went out of his way to go get some for him. It was so kind of Stephen to do this. We love staying on resort, can't wait to go back again!

The room is small with no microwave. Great if you are just dropping off luggage and enjoying the parks. Buildings look old, statues are fun to look at but I'll stay somewhere else next time.
