Great membership deals. I suggest you get the 2 year deal since it's only $25 more for an entire year. They offer various themes through the year, usually changing 4 times a year. Another perk they offer is discounted movies and not just classic movies, new movies like Finding Dory and The Secret Life of Posts. $5 a ticket for annual members, 3 and under are free.

Friendly staff. Decent activities. Nothing mind blowing but plenty of interactive activities. Kids ages 2-13 all found something to do here. Not a lot of depth for the older kids But touched upon enough interesting subjects and interactive stuff for everyone to find a few things that interested them. 4 hours was plenty of time for us to explore everything.

I used to come on school field trips years ago back in elementary in the 2000s. I'm sure it's just as amazing it was back then so much educational experience while having fun! Definitely bringing my little ones!

Went here because of reciprocal tickets via out local science center. Fun place to explore for kids. The shopping area and recycle game were the biggest hits plus the rocket launch area. The dinosaur area was also enjoyed by the kids. I think parking costs but can t enter now but just be ready for that.

It was okay but expensive for what it was. Quite a few displays weren't working properly and it wasn't as interactive as I was hoping for for the kids. I don't need my kids to be partaking in more tech and was hoping for more hands on learning.

Was very excited about this place so I bought a 2 year membership before even stepping inside. Unfortunately I m a bit underwhelmed. It s a large space that feels somewhat empty with not a lot of exhibits. I have a membership at The Magic House in St Louis and Discovery Cube is probably only 1/3 the activities as The Magic House. I thought for greater Los Angeles area, there would be a more impressive play museum for kids but I found that a smaller city like St Louis did it way better.

My kids and I love this enough that we got passes to go for the year. The L.A. museum wasn't our fav but we loved the orange Co and Newport Beach one is small but fun. We only went five or six times but a good science center for kids of all ages.

I loved the Science center! I went for a field trip and had the most fun I have ever had in any museum! If you are thinking of going or taking your kids, it is a great idea. It also has a fun gift shoppe.

Way to many schools jammed up in one day with no air conditioner in there they had it way to stuffy in there. half the science place was either broken or not in service. Not worth the money. The science center in san Diego is 10 times better and not as hot in building.

Great place for interactive learning for all ages... Excellent place to take the whole family, especially if you have bright and interested kids who need both mental and physical stimulus to grow their minds and advance their motor skills...

December 28th was probably not the best time for a first visit. 1030AM arrival found the parking lot full. Inside it was chaotic (noisy & crowded). At first stop, the Hot Wheels exhibit, I noticed one of the hands on racing games was not ejecting all of the cars. There was no attendant in the room. Had to walk back to the entrance to ask for help. This is the first museum I've been to (including Europe) that didn't have attendants in the various areas. While in the gift shop I was asked for help to find the restaurant.

Great place for kids to go there and learn science and to widen their knowledge. My kids likes playing outside near the big dinosaur and go on a trip in the virtual helicopter. Play recycling game and other shows that they bring every few months. Got the annual pass there. And got a 2nd year for a discounted price. Plus also the parking.

If your children, Godchildren and grown up friends Love Science, interactive games this place is awesome. Everyone young or old will have a blast, must pay for parking they have a good size Gift shop and kid friendly restaurant instead.

Wasn't to pleased with my experience here. For the price to get in, most of the attractions - things to do were not working. The food there was way too expensive.

I definitely will not be going back nor recommend to anyone

Looking for a great place to take the kids? Look no further! We spent about two hours here and probably could have spent more but it was nap time. Kids learn about flight, rockets, earth, dinosaurs, earthquakes and much more. They have a snack bar, food court and gift shop so be prepared to spend a little extra on the kids. $5 to park.

The size was small and there wasn t much to do but the price was high. The fire alarm rang while we were watching the bubble show and they did nothing about it and only talked among themselves.

My kids love this place. I get the 2 year membership because the price is great and I usually avoid going during the summer or when school is out because it gets crowded. There are school groups in the mornings but they leave by 1 so ideally, if you want to avoid the crowds, get there around 1. Parking is 5 per day or you can get a parking pass if you get the membership.

Depends on your kid. Pretty nice place overall. Good for the curious, maybe already science-leaning kid. Favorite thing was the food quality and options and service, which is a bit concerning considering that's not the point. My on-the-spectrum 5 yo didn't find a lot here and waiting for the earthquake room was very difficult for him. He did love running around outside in the dino playground area, but it was pretty hard to keep track of him and other kids in our small group due to caves and blocked visibility. We had to do a lot of effort to get him to look at things or try things- which means it wasn't natural for him to figure out or play with even though he's been to Discovery museums before. So... Maybe we'll try again one day when he's (years) older.

Super fun place. Totally and completely worth the entrance fee, especially since the expanded. There's a few exhibits that need a little love (I'm looking at you Dino Quest), but overall everything there functions well.

If you are looking to purchase membership and there's a long line outside, don't get in it. You can only purchase membership inside at the membership desk. They aren't very clear about this and you could assume that because they've posted membership prices outside you could purchase membership outside, but you'd be wrong.

If you are coming for something special like Bubblefest, BUY TICKETS ONLINE BEFORE YOU COME. IT IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED AND YOU WILL NOT GET IN IF YOU SHOW UP DAY OF TO PURCHASE TICKETS.

But the staff is very accommodating and will help you with any questions you have and are always ready to teach your kids something magic and scientific!

Great place to bring you kids but the activities get a little dull after a few visits. They have an area where they introduce new things based on a theme but the last few have been a little subpar. Also, they started charging for parking in the lot across that used to be free. It's not overly expensive, but still.

Definitely a fun place for kids. There's the dinosaur area, the general science area, the amazon, and the upstairs aerodynamics area along with some grocery shopping.

Dinosaur area: Look for the wands in the little store to the right. Kids go around pointing at the different fossils that they find. Most of them will try hitting the fossil with the wand, but remind them that they can point at them from pretty far away.

General Science area: There's a rock climbing wall, a pulley system, and an earthquake house. Pretty to to start off the adventure with.

Food: The food is animal shaped, which is kind of cool, but be aware that the pizzas that you get are about as big as a disposable plate. They do no sell any alcohol on site. There is also dipping dots and if you're into it then you can buy tickets for the kids to learn how to make food in a class.

The amazon: Fun little play area. Another pulley system and mini jungle gyms. There's a light spectrum part which is kind of neat and a gorilla nest.

Upstairs: Aerodynamics area is cool because you get to look at the planes, there's a part where kids learn about skating on ice from the Anaheim ducks on a screen. You can go in a hurricane tube and fly a mini airplane.

There's an area that teaches kids how to recycle and right next to it a grocery store hunt that shows them about healthy shopping. Pretty neat and educational I think.

Overall I think they did great here! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the parking. While it is a small parking lot it would have been nice to have a sign at the corner of the street indicating that the lot was full. There's ample parking, but with parents that have excited children in the car then time is of the essence and waiting for someone to decide if they want to try their luck or go across the street was my only complaint.

Cool spot to entertain kids away from the typical OC stuff and Disneyland. Educational and informational, it's got some cool standard exhibits that are almost all hands on for kids. Special exhibits run a couple months at a time, we just missed out on the ninja turtles exhibit.
Kids learned about waves, air, steam, vacuums, hydrodynamics, hockey, grocery/shopping, insects and chemistry.
We spent about 4 hours there which is about right.
Another bonus is it's a membership institution for our museum back home so we got in free.
Check it out.

It was a great experience the first time that we went there and spent several hours in it, so we got the membership. But it has not introduced new exhibits and rather some were out of order last time.
