My kids love this place. Great membership program. Bubblefest rocks
Only for kids. The workers dont communicate. Its very dull and plain. Not lively at all. On the brighter side there iscool stuff to look at... I guess.
They made it so much better. Love the new dinosaur exhibit. I think we will see more changes. New healthy restaurant is a great addition.
Strictly 7 & under material most attractions were closed mostly educational
A very good place for kids to explore science and its concepts. Helps build lot of general awareness. I have taken the Annual membership and also the annual parking pass. They keep organizing vatiousvevents round the year which ur kid can attend.
I personally liked the Helicopter Simulation ride and the Space Center and also the Grocery.
Place is great but there are some un-responsible parents
A beautiful and fun place for children even if they don't know everything, touch and move
A great place to take your kids! I took my 7 & 3 year old boys & we all had a blast!
Plenty of different stations for all age group. Came on a field trip with our summer group. They had fun.
The best place ever !! WE BOUGHT A 2 YEAR PASS !! KIDS LOVE IT !! THERE NEEDS TO MORE PLACES LIKE THIS !! SO educational kids don't even know that they're learning !!
Too many parents doing the discovery and not letting children learn...or it could be the parents need to learn more than the child.
The price of the tickets are not bad and the place is realy cool.
I went here for the Doc McStuffins exhibit. my daughter had so much fine. the facility was clean. the staff were helpful and polite. there is so much to do here for toddlers.
It was Fun for the whole Family... I Recommend the Bubble Lazer Show and the 3D ....
My 22 yr. old, son. Had an Interview! Best of Luck. To him starting his new job search.
It's a fun little spot for kids. Healthy food options.
Fun for locals. Don't change most of the exhibits very much. Great for kids
I though there was Elmo's house but it wasn't , over all everything is educational for kids to improved their knowledge
I haven't been here since I was in elementary school on a field trip. The only thing I remember from that day is it was like a playground inside. It was the most coolest museum I've ever been too.
I love love love this place this was so amazing me and ma bsf went and we had so luch fun and it brang us a huge smile and a lot of laughter and i will never forget the day i went there
So much engaging activities for kids! Highly recommended!
This place is trying so hard to push their green agenda that the main purpose of being fun and exciting for kids is all but lost.
If I could give this place no stars I would... terrible customer service, most of the employees couldn't answer simple questions about times and where to find things. A bunch of the exhibits are out of order especially 2 big ones and it's not posted anywhere. It's sad that the small run down town I'm from has a discovery museum that's smaller but 10 times better customer service, better upkeep, and better use of their space. I'll never come back here again
I just think this place is overly priced for what it offers. They have cool stuff but not cool enough for the price. This is great for kids ages 4-9. Older kids would get bored here.
Fun place for older kids. Not a lot of food choices.
Fun place to take the kids if you have hours to spare.
Half of the stations and activities weren't working. You'd expect better for such an expensive place. It's a "once per year place", at best.
Cant wait for this place to re-open, my kids grew up here and Id love to take them again.. its always fun
Many devices in attractions are broken. Plus I got a AAA coupon for $12.95 per person until the end of 2018 and when I arrived, they said the prices went up and. Ow it was $14.95. This is wrong! This place is not honest and doesn't honor their commitments. I don't recommend it at all!
Lots of hands on activities my 2 and 4 yr. Old love this place. Great price not too pricey.
So much stuff for the kids to do and see and learn! I love how the displays are constantly rotating. Multiple levels, bring comfortable walking shoes! There is a cafe inside, and clean restrooms.
My little girl loved it. Nothing out of order. Was a great experience.
Not much has changed since we signed up for the annual pass... children are getting bored
So expensive for what they have there..... I was extremely disappointed. Several broken exhibits. They were sold out of the bubble mania that all of their energy was put into. They focus on their features exhibit and the rest of the exhibits suffer because of it. It s not worth the fee to get it. Everything costs extra and the exhibits are just ok . I would recommend a majority of the other kids museums before you go to this one.
Membership prices are crazy affordable. Great location, great family fun. Would come from out of town to visit.
My whole school went to this place and it is horrible i actually want to put no stars this place sucks spent 5 dollars on a little tiny drink it is so small they sell out of everything they. we are a all black school and they tried to make us eat on the floor . Then they didnt want us to eat inside at all. They give u dirty looks and are very disrespectful. They even yelled at one of the kids fot touching the lagos which are allowed to touch when all the other kids that were not in a school from here. The kindergardeners didnt even like it here.
The Discovery Cube of Orange County offers a place for kids to learn about science by experimenting with the different activities that are available across two floors. There's a grocery shopping experience that my kids really enjoyed. They have a family pass which is good for a year. If you've ever wondered what was inside that cube then come on in and find out!
Pros: Family Pass is a good value
Could Improve:
1: I would like to see a position added to the staff to coordinate charter school classes and activities. This science center is hyper focused on public school traditional field trips but neglectful of engaging with the organized homeschool community to provide meaningful and long term actual learning by way of special subject classes established during non peak visitation hours. I've had very little progress with attempts to arrange this type of aggreement.
2: Rent out the new Discivery Kutchen for private parties.
Absolutely Unnaceptable: No guest WiFi... What?? This is a science center! Certainly simple technology such as adding a guest user account should be simple enough; I mean, I can jump online at Target and Vons!
Fun place to take the kids. Lots of interactive experiences
Very educational, but if your ever at their bubble fest, make sure you close your eyes and mouth because there are many parts where they amboosh you with bubbles.
Great place .. super kid friendly. My son had a great time learning. Lots of hands on things for him to do and try.
Went for the 1st time today, definitely a neat spot for kids and adults. I like that they are making science and recycling and such cool. Definitely worth a little day trip
Great place to spend a day and it's not to expensive.
Always something fun for the kids to experience. Great for the whole family
My family and I spent over 4 hours here today and we STILL haven't seen everything!! My kids were excited and engaged the whole time! I definitely recommend this museum to anyone who has children or if you enjoy "hands on" activities!
What an awesome place with great prices. We couldn't believe what a deal it was for a year pass for the whole family we signed up that day! My daughter is 7 and my nephew is 6 and they couldn't get enough.
It is a good place for kids to learn & have fun at the same time
Inexpensive as well
What an amazing place, not only the kids had so much fun but they have learned a lot about scientific phenomena and things that we face in our life. Also we had experienced a simulated ride in a helicopter and launched a rocket and learned the science behind hockey and the nicest thing is that we saw what's inside the big cube we always drive by.
Good place for kids to run around. The adult admission is quite expensive. Suggest getting the annual pass if someone plans to go more than once a year.
Very enjoyable and educational for both my 10 and 5-year-old boys.
This is an awesome place to take your kids. You'll enjoy it too, but watching them play and learn is the best! If we lived closer I would buy a family pass, the value cannot be beat. We'll be back here again real soon.
It's just okay. We went for a lion guard exhibit. It had only been open one week. A lot of the interactive parts to the exhibit were not working already.
Membership would have only been the cost of one more visit, we actually didn't think it was worth it.
A lot of space between displays. Nice to be roomy but you feel like there is a ton of empty space
ok. place is better for older kids. My toddlers enjoyed running around the dinosaur area and The Lion Guard exhibit was cute and my littles loved it.
A very good place to take the kids. We stayed for 3 hours and the time flew by. Very well run, and it was interesting for the adults as well as the kids!
Great place to take children to at a central location in Orange Country!
The best place to visit for the children to give them the first step towards the study of science through visualization. I don t recommend adults to go this place to visit. The parking was just $5 and ticket for entrance was really cheap and even they have yearly membership passes offerings. From physics to various other aspects of science are shown here for the children. Even they have movies to show at different time and think ahead of time to see at particular show time. They have healthy food restaurants and very clean restrooms. I am giving one star less for not being appropriate place for the adults.
A great science museum for kids. Great home exhibits and traveling exhibits. Outdoor area and fun annual events
SCIENCE is important. I am so grateful that there are places where kids (and adults) in the area can go and explore the physical world.
The museum had a number of traveling exhibits, many geared towards the holidays, as well as permanent exhibits for kids of all ages. Most are interactive. This is a great way to spend time with your children in an active learning environment that is fun for all.
I took my 2 (almost 3) year old Grandson and my initial impression was BEDLAM! We manuevered our way in and finally found a corner with a sign that read, "This area is reserved for children under 5" there was no one monitoring this area, as it was in the entire center, and the little ones were constantly run over by the 8 - 10 year old boys that were running wild. They were there with a day care field trip, and it was obvious, their counselors were no more interested in monitoring the behavior of their kids than the employees of the center were. Why evern have an area for the little ones if no one will monitor it? I felt lucky that my Grandson escaped the Discovery Science Center with his life and we will not be going again. I will also discourage anyone who asks from attending as well
I hated everything about it because all the homeless people were there
So many things to see and do for children and adults. My granddaughter loved the Science of Hockey and the space center. The outdoor dinosaur area was fascinating. I would go there again whenever family comes to visit.
