I've been going there since I was two, and quite a bit has changed since then. But in my opinion it has only improved. There are interactive tours, you can throw a stone anywhere and hit a guide, and it is clean and safe for children. Many playing fields and themes throughout the park. Also good catering options and a nice train. I usually went through the entire park with four to five hours. Crowds don't seem to matter much since it's so spacious.

We had a good day, nice that you can climb and clink past the animals. Personally find it less that if you ask for a hefty entrance fee, quite a lot of things still cost extra money. The new stork is fun, tip: only go in when it's quiet. In my opinion, waiting 2 hours is not in proportion to the duration of the attraction.

Quite a nice park. It seems a bit outdated. We were there in the fall, everything looked wet and sad. The dino forest was busy, and fun. The variation of animal was good. Parking is a breeze. If the first parking space is full, you can park at the hockey club 15 minutes away.

Think of one of the most beautiful animal parks in the Netherlands. Never the feeling that it was extremely busy, spacious and fun to walk on. It is very green, you have the idea that you really walk through a park.

A wonderful zoo with lots of animals, games and places to suit all family members, old and young and special needs,
Entrance tickets vary depending on time of entry and there is a discount for online booking

Super nice zoo. A lot of climbing and sliding for kids at the animal enclosures. Especially walking in the dark with the nocturnal animals was fantastic. The only animals that are missed by the boys are the large aquatic animals.

Fantastic for children very busy problem with parking because a part is closed because of the construction of the oh so much needed parking garage staff could not all equally nice deal with it ... otherwise super nice day with the children aged 5 to 13 years.

Good smooth parking at 8 euros in the shade. Great places. Entrance park is good and friendly staff. Great park fun location. Very nice presentation of babysitter with elephants. Shame about the stoppage of 1 train. Could have been better anticipated in terms of maintenance and crowds. Is very nice relaxing getaway

Beautiful park, lots of space, but a pity that all eateries were closed during this rainy weather. Eating outside with small children is not fun! I understand that this has to do with the current measures, but then spread the tables and ask for mandatory mouth mask if necessary.

Super nice and fun park for children there is plenty to do and experience. We will definitely go there again. Only minus point was that the food was not super good little taste and little choice for good healthy food.

Nice animal park. Lots to do also for smaller children.
Only that food ... We ate at a tent near the dinobos. Terrible, far too expensive and unbeatable. Thick hamburger baked black. Does not fit at all on the much larger sandwich. Only deep-frying stuff, why not regular sandwiches?

But animal park itself is very nice.

Cozy zoo with a relaxed atmosphere. Employees very friendly and it is nice that you can rent a wheelchair. I was very surprised about the good and fine quality of the wheelchair. Soft and good wheels and nice cushions instead of the hard standard wheelchairs.

The animals seemed to have a good time, had enough to eat and looked good. Only the tigers were a bit bored and constantly walked around.

The toilets were also clean, just a pity that you can only wash your hands with ice cold water. That is pretty cold in the wintdr.

Had a nice day! You could also view the animals very closely.

For us, one of the best zoos in the Netherlands (we've seen them pretty much all). Don't let the small plot size of the zoo mislead you, this zoo offers the "mis-niks-route" (the don't miss anything route), which lets you experience the animals from several nice angles. By the end you have the feeling you've seen a lot of different habitats. If you have kids, in addition to the this route, there's a lot of climbing/sliding options to make the trip more adventurous. Again, absolute favorite Dutch zoo at the moment.

Very nice zoo with convenient walking route. If you do this, you do not miss anything and you view the stays from different sides.

The staff was less good, all with a ah discount coupon what we had done wrong. Not as customer-oriented as you should be in this time, and not at all smart to have long-awaited guests with young children for a solution. Then also difficult to do when we wanted to buy an annual card, finally the annual card was not bought because we were tired and so unfriendly were treated. What I said, not useful to start a discussion with parents who have a nagging child with them. The staff may be able to receive a training there. (Even though it is high season, warm and always the same problems). Hospitality is a profession, not a part-time job. For example, Artis has very good and committed staff, so it is possible.
Leaving that aside, and avoiding the staff as much as possible, it is an ideal park for kids, with lots of slides, playgrounds and fun interaction opportunities with the animals.

In itself a great zoo, with a wide spectrum of well-known and less well-known animals. It is also still a beautifully landscaped green park to walk through. However, it is a bit dated to the touch and many animal quarters are somewhat on the tight side. I am a bit disappointed by that hubby. In addition, I consider the admission price a bit too high for a more frequent visit.

Today, May 25, finally back to Amersfoort zoo. Entrance perfectly arranged, in the park more than enough distance. There are also enough locations for a snack and a drink. There are also enough toilets open. Overall had a great day.

Nice Zoo. Not too big so specially good for small children. Dogs are welcome. There's a Dinosaurs park for the kids who are interested in knowing more about them. Lots of green, trees and nature. It was very crowded on a Thursday so I can't imagine how it gets at weekends.

What a very nice animal park this is. You notice that they have a lot of eye for children. There is a lot of glass where children only have glass between themselves and the animals and therefore can see it well. There are also many slides and climbing and climbing equipment placed so that you can walk 'over the animals'.

The park was also neat and well cared for. Virtually no litter and you have many places to eat where you can sit for a while

Conclusion: do you have young children and you want to go to a fun animal park, take this in your consideration !! Subscription prices are also very bad. 58 euros (2019) for a season. You can visit within 2.5x per year. (We do not have, live too far)

Tip for park: indicate parking instructions more clearly to motorist. People did not follow the instructions badly because they were not clear.

It's a very nice place to take young (up to 10 y.o) kids to. There are all kinds of crawling\climbing paths under and above the animal grounds, as well as a couple of normal playgrounds. The dinosaurs look impressive, too.

Animals difficult to reach for wheelchairs. And at the property in the night only small prams can enter, but if you have difficulty walking and are in a wheelchair then you can not go at all. And wheelchair toilet in the beginning can hardly get a wheelchair because door opens inside. Very unfortunate because otherwise it is a nice park just not fun if you are in a wheelchair.

Green park with especially for children up to the age of 12 a lot of fun climbing and climbing objects around the accommodation. The dog can also come inside, but not at the "open" animal quarters, which makes sense.

Reasonable zoo. Becoming a bit too much amusement park. Looks like the animals are no longer central. Hospitality is far too expensive for the quality offered. Concrete dinobos is a joke.
Too bad that a lot of nature has disappeared for parking spaces.
