A nice park in itself, although some chimpanzees looked somewhat depressed. Unfortunately, the nocturnal animal enclosure was not accessible due to a renovation. Friendly staff and the prices are acceptable.

Despite the bad weather had a very nice day in this atmospheric animal park. It is a somewhat older park, but that is more than compensated by the fact that the afforestation is very high and very green, which gives it a pleasant atmosphere.
The best gimmick is a square with a stand where there is a real barbecue. So not a gas grill but really with coal. That is an unexpectedly tasteful gimmick that you do not expect at the catering industry in this kind of parks, where it is often a matter of food.
Of course I had to reward this excellent initiative with a purchase and I have just chosen a delicious cheeseburger.

Pleasantly surprised by this zoo. Not too big. Clearly arranged by the many informative signs that show you the signpost. Lots of info about the animals. Sufficient eatery, but also plenty of opportunity to eat and drink. Many fun climb, run and discover trails and games for the kids. Clean and tidy! Overall had a nice day. Recommended! Ps we were 9 people: grandfather, grandmother, 3 children of 1/2, 1.5 and 7.5 and 2 pairs of parents.

Beautiful park with lots of fun for the children. Only downside I think you have to pay extra for train, carousel, boat etc ... Then make the abbo a few euros more expensive or something.

It's a fun park where the animals are more lively then other parks we've been to (especially zoo of Antwerp, sorry).
If you have kids this is certainly the place to be. There are a lot of interactive habitats where you can climb over them, or stand in the middle,... It's a nice change of pace.

I didn't give 5 stars for the simple reason that we're in COVID season and the visitors made it impossible to keep distance and when wearing a mask is not mandatory this was semi frustrating. (I think they finally brainwashed me )

Very nice park, especially for small children who are still in a car. It is easy to look over everything. Only I did not find the Buitenplaats restaurant very great. It was not busy at all and yet you were waiting for 10 minutes for fries. Furthermore, it is quite cold, not very clean and the play area for the children is completely disappointing.
But the park itself is very nice! Delicious animal watching.

Nice park, well set up. Dogs are allowed, except for a number of stays, this is clearly indicated. More than enough, very clean, toilet blocks. Animals look good and are also clearly visible to visitors, they can isolate themselves if they wish. Park is wheelchair accessible. There are some bad parts in the road here and there so be careful if you walk worse. The predators get whole prey to eat. Keep this in mind with small children or people who may find this scary, feeding times are on the website.

Beautifully kept park and what a service that you as a disabled person already get a free exit card. Only on the Park app and site adjust that the white tiger has died. We were looking for a large group of people we didn't know

We had 2 small children with us.
There was a lot to see and to visite, most animal were either inside or sleeping.
The dino's looked great and you could see them up close (for one of my kids it was even scary)
I like the overal design of the park, open, close to the animals and lots of forest.

Enormous fun arranged again with the 70-year jubilee. Nice tours, food tour, eateries, live music and super fun everywhere. This is really the nicest zoo in the Netherlands (and we know them all!). And not only now, but throughout the year, there are fun things to do, for young, old and the dogs ... Absolutely PERFECT !!! Chapeau all ...

Very nice. Many nice off-road routes for the children where they can view the animals up close and where there is a slide for example. Information about the animals also nicely made on wooden plates. Also state whether the animals are threatened with extinction in the wild.

A zoo where I had to climb and scramble more with the children than to have seen animals. Also green and so much but had the idea that there were not many animals (also many "not at home"). I thought that was a bit of a shame. I found a lot of 8 euros for parking. Because everyone was parked scottishly and half way in the forest.

Bit like a park. Not straight forward. You feel like you are walking in park. Animals are also free, such as monkeys and birds
Fun for children with cable car and other play equipment, crawl and sneak-through corridors

Watched footage of ducklings being stalked and killed in baboon enclosure. Without any staff stepping in to stop them both animals will probably get sick and die. Way to drop the ball, I hope your baboons don t all get sick and die.

Because of corona you have to make a reservation when you want to enter, but this works well. In the park there is one-way traffic and some buildings are closed, such as nocturnal animals. The restaurants are also closed, but you can order something at stalls and eat on the terraces. All in all, it works quite well, and to be honest, I find it quite pleasant that we (should) give each other space. You never stand shoulder to shoulder.

I have seen quite a few zoos, but this zoo kept surprising me! I have never been in a zoo for so long, so much to see and experience, and all kinds of animals too! You can see them from very close by, really cool! I'll definitely return!

On busy days, such as the day of Pentecost, you will be redirected to a parking space, a 1 km walk away, even if you have a parking subscription. That should not be a surprise, because that is clearly stated when you purchase the subscription. Despite the crowds, the distribution of the visitors present is generally reasonable. Only on the narrow paths does it roll up.
Nice places where you are literally among the animals, sometimes behind the glass, like with the lions, sometimes the prairie dogs literally walk in front of your feet.
Many places with shade, so you can relax on warm days too.

The Amersfoort Zoo has positively surprised us because of the large amount of animals, the beautiful accommodations and the neat facilities. In connection with corona, the zoo has mapped out a great route where you can see everything. Our highlight was the giraffe enclosure, where the animals could get very close. Unique experience!

Far too expensive compared to what you get. Walked completely through the park in 2 hours and then ended up at a restaurant with sandwiches for 6 euros each. These sandwiches (look a lot like the lidl's?) Were also not very tasty. If you look at a zoo, I recommend artis or emmen. just a bit more value for money.

Nice park, something for everyone. We were able to park for free because the adjacent parking lot was full. However, that was a 15-minute walk. Not so bad for us, but maybe a problem for older people.

Beautiful animal park which has been updated here and there and this makes the park a bit more 2020 ready than it used to be, the sweet character and the small scale have remained, really a wonderful zoo with great play opportunities for the kids!
