Great zoo, especially for kids. Too bad it is still allowed to smoke in the Zoo.

Very attractively decorated with Christmas. Cozy fire where you can warm yourself. Everywhere sneak through and crawl through making it very suitable for families with young children. Easily accessible by public transport. Bus 70 from the station stops in front of the door.

Nice nice Dino park .... nice park ... lacks some animals ... but yes every park is different.

Very nice zoo. You are really face to face with the animals, because much use is made of glass fence. The experience in the park is also very beautiful! We really enjoyed it.

For "big" people it is half a park (there is little variation in animals and no aquarium), but for the little ones it is all the more suitable, there are many climbing and scrambling opportunities at the animal enclosures, large playgrounds, dinobos, and a scenic train ride. The species recognizable for the little ones such as monkey giraffes rhinos etc are just there. The disadvantages are that in the middle of the park everything is crammed together and the outer ring is spacious, so that there is a very stuffy part of the park at peak hours. All in all a suitable park for young families.

Zoo is not too big. Could do well with everything. And the dinobos thought the little ones were the end.

Before you could enter the park you first had to walk 15 minutes. Poorly arranged.

Nice large park, lots of kids fun such as playgrounds, climbing and scrambling. Enough benches and tables. We have certainly enjoyed ourselves.

It was super nice to be there and it is really a very beautiful park. I had not been there after the renovation, but there are many things that have really improved. The play areas for children are also very beautiful and safe. Personally, I like the lions and the ring-tailed lemurs the most. The ability to sail is also a lot of fun. In short, if you are in doubt, you really have to go.

I went again today with an open mind. Had an abbo for years and would go for 1 again today but not done!

However, upon entering, there are already considerable congestion and actually no way to avoid!
Normally you could choose to skip animals and go there later when it is quieter, only the mandatory walking route makes that actually impossible unless you want to walk the entire route again if you follow the rules. Too many people who go against the grain anyway, which is frustrating ...
The route is certainly not an improvement ...

On April 23 for the first time to this park and it was super fun. My daughter of 6 and and son of 3 enjoyed all the climbing and all the slides. They found it super exciting to be so close to the animals. We live near Blijdorp but this was much nicer for them. They enjoyed the dinosaur section and I thought they turned into dinos themselves. They also enjoyed the boat trip. I immediately did my workout for that day. Certainly worth repeating and they can't wait to go with their nephews and nieces.

Beautiful green animal park, by adding playful elements to the various accommodations, the animals come into their own more. Also, due to the extensive use of glass, it is as if the visitor is in the middle of the enclosures of the animals. A very nice cool park !!

Nice and tidy zoo, nice set-up of various themes, Dinopark is nicely set up but should be a little more interactive ...
Some areas are very nice because you can get quite close to the animal (s).
A tip is that the park closes at 6 p.m. in the high season / holiday season.

What is this a fun zoo say! So incredibly extensive, with narrators, lions being fed, affordable food and plenty of room to keep up. We were on a Saturday when the weather was nice and it was pretty busy, but we did not have a moment that someone walked in front of us. The mis nothing route is handy to see everything in the park and the children love to climb over the stays to be able to go down with the slide.

we arrived in the first restaurant ordered pancakes, but they arrived within 5 minutes. the plate was hot. when saw that the pancake was warmed up, was not to eat, too hard and dry.

Park was not overcrowded in my opinion. In any case, we were able to keep our distance. It certainly depends on the people themselves how they pay attention to / deal with this themselves. Here and there, however, not all slides and eateries were open. But enough was left!

Nice zoo, ideal for children! Everywhere playgrounds and creepy roads. The so-called "trips" are also fun to do. This allows the children to discover much more about the animals and the zoo itself.

The zoo itself is really beautiful. Only the entrance fee with the coming high parking fees are really not nice. Another drawback is that the animal descriptions are only in Dutch, not even English.

Just a pity that there are parents who throw down diapers on the floor where they change the child. Trash cans enough available.

A lovely smaller zoo with a great dinopark and alternative climbing and walking lanes over the cages of the animals instead of the average passing by them.

Fun zoo not too large. You can do just fine in a day. There is a lot of climbing and play areas for children. The hustle and bustle in the park was not as bad as expected from the crowds in the parking lot. But it turned out that a part is closed for construction of a parking garage. Prices are normal trade prices.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in January with our family with young children we visited the DierenPark Amersfoort. Parking was busy and a moderate parking area which was poorly marked. A few employees for directions had been in place. Entering went smoothly with the tickets purchased in advance. No park map. You can either walk the entire route or use the app. It works well in itself, but I prefer a paper map. You enter the older part with many animals and some play areas. Behind this is a larger newer section and the dinosaur forest. It is a relatively small zoo and our young children enjoyed the train and the dinobos very much. The animals are great. Not special. The best thing I found was the inside of the elephants. It was impossible to do the hospitality by lunchtime (also moderate later in the day). I do not know if they had misjudged the crowds (it was not really busy in my opinion) or that it is always so but you had to wait a very long time. The quality was very poor and the price way too high. The open kitchen of the restaurant, the outdoor area, is a good example of how it should not be, because while waiting you could quietly look into this open kitchen and watch how everything that fell to the ground was still used. Toilets were dirty and far too limited available at this restaurant. The employees were unable to answer simple questions about other restaurants. Zoo was ok, hospitality industry dramatic, parking way too expensive. And all those dogs that the visitors take don't need me either. There were quite a few who were not really brought up. All in all a big fail.

Will remain a nice park with 4 adults ready quickly

In Amersfoort Zoo there is always something to do, and every time I return it is special to see how all animals can get very close, and I often do not even have time to see all the animals because there are so many. The Dinopark and 1000 animal house are truly unique, with reptiles and moving dinosaurs and giant turtles, snakes and spiders, beetles and butterflies and even a stuffed bear, and even more stuffed animals.

Very nice landscaped park. For the children there is everywhere a nice viewing spot to discover. With some animals a rope bridge, some with a tunnel to crawl through. Very entertaining, in addition to the beautiful and varied selection of animals. Handy is the map with the route not to miss anything in the park. A nice extra was the 'show' where the children received explanations about cockroaches, tarantulas and snakes. These animals could also pet them or hold them in their hand.

On a Monday to the zoo, but in terms of organization it was nothing. No parking attendants, so parking in the back because the rest was full .. at 11.15 am in the corona time on a rainy predicted day. Then you're inside the zoo. The 1.5 m distance? Make it only 1 meter via the walking route. And do you stand for the animals? Then it is forgotten. If you say something, they look at you and hear you, if you have complaints you stay at home, so don't worry when you walk here. See employees walking against the route and yes, they waltz through that one meter between people, they wore neat vests, keep a distance of 1.5 meters .. do you still understand? Terraces were wasps, aggressive 2 girls were stung .. what a nasty day out. It just was. Busier than for the corona

Lovely zoo. Even healthy lunch options, almost special for a zoo. The animals were very mobile. Very nice to see an active tiger and bear. The night stay is especially unique with a baby sloth at the moment. The dinosaur forest is also a fun thing to do. Small note, the zoo is not fully adapted / suitable for wheelchairs. It is bumpy and bumpy and you cannot enter everywhere (like the nightroom).

Very nice park. Really a nice zoo where you can see the animals well. I think the park exudes a nice authentic atmosphere. It is not huge, but very satisfied.

The food in the restaurant on the other hand was really worthless. Very little choice and extremely expensive. For 4 bottles of soda I was allowed to pay 16. I was so shocked that I had to pay 30 for 2 hot dogs and 4 bottles of drink that I paid the rest of the day. Good to prepare for this and to bring your own sandwiches and drinks.

Amersfoort Zoo has everything, live animals, a Dinosaur Park, playgrounds for children and plenty of food and drink. You will be sweet all day long.

I really wanted to pass by to ping penguins, but they were not horny that day, and not a fun experience.

Today enjoyed a great day at Amersfoort Zoo. Despite the fact that it was quite warm, it is great to keep out because the park is very green and shady. Climb Everything route is absolutely fun for children, but also with us as adults the child came up again. Hanging playground idem. A successful day out so!

Beautiful zoo with good space for animals. Only the food at "de Boerderij" was a disaster, order went wrong twice and was not that good in general.
