Is and remains a great animal park. I just thought that people did not stick to the 1.5. I personally did not like that.

In the later afternoon, when the school kids leave, you can freely and peacefully enjoy the animals.

Very fun and informative zoo. Guides everywhere who explain the different animals. Recommended!

Great zoo. Also good to do with dogs. Many drinking places for the dogs.

The only drawback I think the park is completely wheelchair friendly and stroller.
I could not see everything myself because I brought a stroller. UNFORTUNATELY!

Nice that the changing room is not in the powder room which makes it easier for the man to change his child.

Nice big park and lots of animals and lots to do for children

Was very happy that The dog was allowed inside. Just found everything stuffed together. And what a pity that you could not see so much sometimes. Anyway the weather was bad. Unfortunately I found the restaurant a bit dirty on the floor. I kept the dog on my lap otherwise it would play as a vacuum cleaner haha.

It remains a nice park, but some innovation may be in order with regard to the penic enclosures of some animals. But there is simply a lot of choice in animals to watch.

Lots of greenery, beautiful animals and lots of playground for children. It was the first holiday day and very busy, but it did not feel that way in the park. Top!

Great zoo. It's still a zoo, and I dislike some elements. But for kids it's just a great place.

Nice park but unfortunately a number of things not accessible with a wheelchair and especially not if you also have an assistance dog. So quickly watched.

Last week, gnome Smulpaap with his backpack and gnome Kwebbel drove to this very beautiful park. Despite this crazy time in the Wild West arrived on time at 11.30 and it was very quiet in and on the park.
Toilets were spotlessly clean (compliments to the staff (and saw the bear again after the parrots. Not climbed over it yourself because that was what the mini gnome did with the slide at the end.
And then walked to the train and pinned some chips with a card . Good idea.
After a nice tour through the bushes and park we got out for lunch at the merry-go-round and playground.
Kk Lkkr ice cream and a second nog soft ice cream. Lkkr tasty counter.

And especially the elephants have been sitting on the stands for a very long time. How beautiful it is there.
Then find another small playground with climbing ropes and slides and quite high for that mini gnome.

After a small lunch I closed my eyes in the shade on a bench.
Delicious. And then walked on and saw how the monkeys were fed.
And to top it all off, I ended up in the dinosaur park.
What a cool walk. Really special. And later at the end of the path a very big dinosaur. Great what a scale model in t large.
Anyway, still seated and sat with all the gnomes and gnome Kwebbel with fries and stuff and unfortunately left the park at 6 pm.

And will like to come back soon. A wonderfully relaxed park.

Super nice and beautiful zoo, along the way all kinds of play areas for children and interesting facts about the animals. There is also a train and a boat to go for a round.

Wide range of animals. The accommodation looks clean and maintained. The park is innovating in order to surprise their guests with a new visit. Just a pity that consuming a pastry with coffee is not over already around 10 a.m. Was just searching in the park.

Very nice park. You can also see animals on top of all kinds of roads. Many playground for children. Most animals have a reasonable amount of room to move.

A really polite day in this beautiful zoo. Enough extra activities! Today cozy and tasty food trucks and performances. Nice!

Very nice park! We immediately bought an annual pass on the first visit. With 3 visits you have it out.

Wonderfully uncluttered zoo a good time under the trees so also had a nice day in 38 degrees

Another visit to this ZOO. On the spot we find everything that you would expect from the ZOO. From food to pay wages and, of course, animals

Nice zoo. The expansions of recent years are a good addition. That is noticeable in the subscription prices. Pity that there is more to obtain a summer subscription. The big downside is that with a subscription you often still have to join the back of the line with people who still have to buy tickets. A gate with self-scan would be ideal.

Super nice zoo. Nicely laid out, with enough shortcuts and playgrounds for a varied walking route.

Amersfoort remains a nice animal park for small children. The park is (thankfully) simple and everything is relatively close together. On our last visit on July 23, 2020, we were somewhat disappointed. We had made reservations in advance, using a tight time slot. Not a problem in itself, but we assumed that there was a limit on the total number of visitors. Nothing proved further from the truth. It was very busy in the park, keeping 1.5 meters away was impossible. Almost all catering establishments closed, with everything moved outside. So even busier. Terraces against the walking route. Neither of us was comfortable with this situation, it was just unsafe. This can and should be improved.

Nice interactive zoo. Who can take care of the animals. Animal houses nicely decorated. Good facilities and very helpful staff.

Nice zoo with attention to the animals. Also a lot to experience for children. Also many "open" cages where the animals have a lot of space. Clear descriptions. Nice park.

Very nice decorated animal park which focuses on children in everything. In terms of education, in my opinion, below par, but for the children there is an extra lot to play. The park is well committed to endangered animals in the wild, there is some information about it in the park.

Nice to visit Panda's. It is a pity that catering was less well cared for on the day of my visit

Very nice zoo you can get close to the animals. And there is plenty to do. 1 min point we went to the restaurant to get something and it seemed as if it had been in the hot cupboard for a week so it tastes old. And the coffee was also not drinkable therefore 4 stars

What a wonderful park all enjoyment, now a bit quiet by covid and that also has an advantage for the visitor. Peace and space to enjoy the park and the animals.

Not only enjoyed the animals, but also because our dogs were welcome.
Also by chance seen feeding of some animals. Animals all look well cared for, clean accommodations. Clear signposting and if you have children also nice train and pedal boats and exciting dinobos / cave
For the youngest this was the very first time animal park (except deer park in city park at home).
They did not know where to look everywhere. And snoring very satisfied within 2 minutes on the way back

Mixed feelings about our visit today. We live close to the animal park and generally think it is a wonderful (mid) day out.

Despite the measures, we still found it very busy and have left several places because they did not adhere to the 1.5 meters.

Another point of attention is the one-way route along the hyenas with a slide at the end, this is not clearly indicated, so many visitors go back against the pedestrian traffic and again pass within 1.5 meters.

All in all, unfortunately we were not able to enjoy very much this time, hopefully the points of interest will be taken along by the animal park to make the visit safer.

Nice park, also spacious. There is now a walking direction throughout the park, stewards also pointed this out if you walked into traffic. With the corona troubles, they have done everything they can to comply with the 1.5 meter rules. We now had trouble getting to everything. The children therefore needed a little more patience,
It is also a park where normal prices are charged, which is quite a shock at other parks.

Nice park. The animals are scattered through the forests, so you don't see everything at once, but you really have to 'look for it'. Many nice things for small children and more than enough places to rest.

Today enjoyed the animal park with my 7 year old son.
Park is beautiful you walk through nature and with chimpanzees and elephants is a stand so you can see the animals well. The gladiator area where the lions are and monkeys looks beautiful, sometimes difficult to walk on, but good for your calves that kick. The staff is very friendly and the food in the park is not cheap but well prepared. I find the playgrounds a nice change in between, indeed a pity as I read on other revieuws is that you have to pay for the train and the merry-go-round and scooters but not too expensive and a little understandable. My son liked the tiger, the nocturnal enclosure and the dinobos and the scooters. I found the black-tailed prairie dogs the nicest kind of squirrel without a tail and they walked close to you and an experience for children. We will definitely come back sometime.

Lovely large and spacious zoo ... very clean and enough facilities for large and small. Highly recommended.

Very nice animal park, where you can get very close to the animals!

If you're looking for a unforgettable day with you kids I recommend this zoo. It's not only a zoo, there are many places where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. Kids will never get bored here.

It is much more than just a zoo and very family and child friendly.

You can observe the 1.5 meter rule for yourself here. A fantastic park that I have been coming to for years. But when you enter the park later with your time slot, the elephants are in very early. Are already eating at their racks. The monkeys have already been brought in. The giraffes are pacing for the enclosures because they know that they are going in and getting food. The route was difficult to find.
So it was our old familiar place but you really have to "show up" otherwise you will come for nothing.
Something should also be done about the price for the two hours to the last time slot. And more open to be able to eat. This was not possible for us now

As always so very nice! Very focused on the children, always a party ...

We have 5 children (1-2-2-9-10 years) of which 1 child of 2 years old was sitting on a small plastic walking bike. Unfortunately we can not do anything else ... this was not allowed, but they do not rent out bogies or anything ... Very unfortunate, because of this we were back in an hour. We had already bought the tickets online. Then it is very expensive.

Beautiful park. For big and small. The animals are in very nice stays. We have been there for 12 years, already 12 times!

They were refurbishing stays so part was not available. Furthermore, very nice. The dog can just come along.

Nice zoo especially for families with young children.

A very fun zoo especially for kids. Lots of tunnels, walks into the enclosure for a close encounter with the animals, the walks often ends with a fun slide. Can feel a bit crowded on weekends because of all the buggies being pushed around and kids running everywhere. Be aware they do not have lockers so you'll have to carry whatever you bring with you! You can easily spend 4+hours here if you plan on following the recommended route(not the most efficient) to see everything.

Amersfoort Zoo is a nice, spacious park with lots of shade. Good for the guests and for the animals. There are many hidden paths with slides or a raft. Fun for the kids. The quiz is also nicely done. Recommended.

Fun and well-kept animal park. Many different animals, many of which can be admired close by. Lots of eateries, enough toilets and enough play areas for the children.

Nice park, especially for children and the elderly.

Zoo is fantastic! You are sometimes very close to the animals, so you can walk around on the monkey island, between the monkeys!

Actually there is always something going on, and especially for children this park is really a party! From the playgrounds to the sturdy dinobos, the giraffes and even the sloth family in the night area.

If the animals are inside because of the weather, you can also just view them there.

To conclude, I recommend the nearby pancake restaurant de kabouterhut!

Amersfoort is youth sentiment, but was now there at the food festival, nice atmosphere everywhere and in between watching animals.

Super nice zoo. Kids really enjoyed themselves very much, but what a damper if you give your children a nice snack with lunch and it is really too dirty for words! You should NOT do the restaurant the outside place! Fries really had never been so dirty. Old fat brown instead of golden yellow. Chicken Nuggets cold and surprise was caterpillar of Not even 4 cm. If the entrance was well paid and you can't even get into the carousel and the train, you can pay extra. Most of the parks I visit just belonged to it :) all in all great park but bring your own food!

The winter evenings at Dierenpark Amersfoort are always very nice with music, food trucks, crackling fires etc

Nicest zoo in the Netherlands.
Literally a (play) garden with animals. Lovely in the woods ... Even with a tropical hot day like today it was pleasant to be there.
For the kids a true play paradise.
Parking is also easy to do

This zoo is really amazing. You get very close to the animals, and they seem to really care for the well-beeing of all animals.
There is a lot to se, to eat and to do.
Be prepared to use your whole day here to get to see everything.
It is a short bus-ride or even a straight 15 minutes walk from Amersfoort Central station
And the have RED PANDAS!

Not a big fan of Zoos. Do not like it when animals are caged in small unnatural areas. Someone told me that the animals had more space here. Perhaps that is the case but the animals didn't seem to have a happy life.

Super mooi park. Ben in veel dierentuinen geweest maar wat betreft aankleding en sfeer vond ik deze de beste. Mooi gelegen vriendelijk personeel. Kom graag weer terug met mijn gezin.
Als ik een punt van kritiek mag geven ik vond de toiletten vanaf halverwege de middag niet zo schoon meer. Dit viel me op op meerdere toilet locaties. Misschien incident warmte drukte. Misschien iets om op te letten. En wat betreft het dino bos ja smaken verschillen maar volgens mij is dit toe aan een upgrade of moet de ruimte gebruikt worden voor een nieuwe bestemming. Voor de rest niks dan lof voor dit schitterende park.
