A very professional animal friendly Zoo! Not too big, but you will need half a day to see most. Very educational for small children as well as adults. I visited the zoo several times with my small children, always something new. Very innovative!
They also have a very good price for a year ticket. The animals get more and more space in a natural environment.
The zoo is situated in a very nice local habitat in the AMERFOORT woods. Even the car parking is a nice spot surrounded in a typical Dutch nature. No polders. No, the original Netherlands. Very nice! Photos soon.
