Fantastic. Went on a nice summers day, garden and surrounding areas immaculate, had afternoon tea. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
We dined in the bar and as always the food was delicious, Christian who looked after us made wonderful suggestions and was perfectly attentive throughout! We highly recommend the steak burger topped with pulled beef and the goats cheese, walnut and pear salad. The Blackford cocktail was a real treat.
During our meal (one course) we were checked on a total of 5 times which did feel a little overwhelming given the duration of our visit, it would have felt more appropriate to have left the check in with Christian who had already built a rapport with us.
Lovely hotel. Had afternoon tea an was superb. Good service from the staff
Lovely resort, didn't unfortunately have the pleasure of staying. Very welcoming.
Absolutely first class location and service and all this for just afternoon tea, unhurried and a great choice of eats.
What a fantastic experience. Very kind staff. High service level. Great rooms.
Have been a regular here since 1986 visiting at least once a year. As ever staff very well trained, friendly and obliging. Always a special treat to stay there - it's like coming home!

A must visit. The Old Course at St Andrews. There is the golf courses, the shops, restaurants and the beach plus so much more. Very charming indeed!
A fantastic hotel set in stunning grounds. The service, facilities and food will exceed your expectations.
We recently had lunch at Gleeagles Hotel at the Dormy house restaurant.
The restaurant was very busy but the service was still first class and as was the food .
The refurbishment of The Strathearn restaurant and the overhaul of The Birnam are excellent, unfortunately the service is second rate in both establishments - lackadaisical staff who lack the personal skills required. While the food in The Birnam is very good the attempt in The Strathearn to modernise has resulted in the classics remaining very good (smoked salmon, oysters) where the kitchen hasn t interfered, but the chef has tried too hard to over complicate everything else - the new Steak Strathearn (replacing Steak Diane) is a poor effort and is more style over substance. All that said the facilities are fantastic, the kids area is amazing and aside from the food / restaurant service the place can t be faulted.
Lovely for afternoon tea. Very relaxed and pretty family friendly.
Amazing place.
Highly recommend to go for their Afternoon tea if you are only there for a very short visit.
They are happy to accommodate any dietary needs (allergies or vegan diet for example)
The Hotel also has plenty of unique little shops as well as a lovely garden.
An international standard resort hotel. Fantastic from spa to golf course.
The falconry school is a decidedly unique experience. You actually get to spend hands-on time with the birds. The trainer was great.
Nice and awesome place. Lot's of activities possible. Service friendly. But expensive.
Extremely poor customer service. Booked a spa treatment for my wife after being recommended by a friend. So far she has had to call 6 (yes SIX) times to try and book the appointment. We were promised a call back on 3 occassions that we did not receive. Si far have been given various excuses. "The diary is not open", "therapist on holiday", "therapist not on holiday, sorry, on a course". Final straw being offered a freebie for the inconvenience then being told she would only get this additional treatment for booking a date that she had already clearly said she could not make.
Hopefully the therapy is worth it because the customer service has been terrible.
I was on crutches because of broken pelvis and got room on ground floor everone so nice and beautiful place.meals were good and loads to do
Unique and very advisable to rest with some movie views
The hotel is wonderful in a beautiful location. The room was fabulous and the spa facilities we very luxurious, just what we were needing
I cannot wait to go back again
Gorgeous hotel and grounds. As a family we utilise the Glenmor residence and the facilities and experiences on offer are unbeatable.
Fantastic, loads to do for golfers and non golfers. First class service
The ultimate in luxury. Everything about the experience is first class - accommodation, staff at all levels, food and drink, facilities. You get what you pay for!
Awesome. Best breakfast and service in the world. Absolute luxury
Nice hotel. Room was ok. Both bathroom and room were somewhat modernized. Been here for a kickoff. Restaurant appeared to have 2 michelin stars. I'm not sure whether its worth that. Lunch was probably better than dinner...
Wonderful hotel, imaculate golf courses, very friendly staff but food and drink, although it is excellent, is expensive. Worth a visit.
Wow, what can I say - this is the most wonderful afternoon tea I have ever had. It was both a visual and a culinary treat, with savouries and sweet treats, and endless refills of coffee and tea.
My first thought when I saw the savouries was that I should have had a bigger breakfast, but actually all the small savouries and sweets were very filling, and we didn't finish everything on our cake stand.
After our afternoon tea, we had a walk around the beautiful gardens.
I would highly recommend afternoon tea at the Gleneagles Hotel.
We live locally so were not staying at the hotel, but if the afternoon tea was anything to go by, the Hotel is a fantastic experience.
Was a lovely weekend away. Really enjoyed the clay pigeon shooting, although fly fishing instructor could have been nicer.
Pure class and the course was in great nick even after a load of rain
I visit here at least once a month for dinner and drinks , food quality is excellent the staff amazing and very welcoming,
Well worth a trip for a day or a romantic overnight stay
Had lunch at the Dormy clubhouse. Soup OK, sandwiches stale, uninteresting and very expensive.
Sheer perfection. Amazing food, service and staff. Recommended.
I am only delivering but have stayed there worth a visit excelant place to stay
Afternoon tea with my daughter's and friends. Lovely surroundings, friendly, helpful staff and the food was amazing. My daughter is gluten intolerant and the gluten free option at some places can be disappointing. Not so at Gleneagles. The gluten free selection was as delicious as the rest. It was a lovely relaxed afternoon. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.
Drab interiors, ridiculously expensive meals. Unless you are desperate to visit with your Land Rover, Range Rover, Porsche give it a miss.
Had afternoon tea here, very impressed with the service and hotel.
First rate establishment. First rate product. First rate service. First rate golf. You pay for first rate standard across the board but remains fair value.
A must visit to this Hotel. That's all needed to explain all.
Quality golf courses and very friendly staff. Another bucket list course played.
Amazing afternoon tea. Beautiful grounds to walk around in afterwards. Rea ly lovely staff
Wonderful day celebrating Mother's day and my birthday with my wife and girls. Service was fabulous (sorry didn't get her name, young lady from Italy for the Winter) nothing was a bother and we were all made to feel special. The afternoon tea was delicious and we can't wait to come back.
Payed for golf rate, but it snowed suddenly dude t stay, the management would not refund or let me transfer to another activity after trying very hard to get assistance. Very cool place overall but that direct negative experience really dampened the 4 days I spent there.
The Castle Hotel Stadium is within walking distance.
Not allowed afternoon tea in lounge as non resident despite it being half full at 3.45pm and having spent 500 pounds on the day. Taken by a lady to the bar area where she didn't listen when I said they had no afternoon tea menu...and directed to clubhouse....got soaked in rain and when I complained to waiter, no apology and no afternoon tea still. Disappointing for an establishment like this and certainly no ' can do' philosophy.
One of the most efficient hotels with a vast army of workers making the front of house a faultless experience. From the best breakfast in Scotland, a stunning spa experience and even gardeners stopping their work to offer to take group pictures... nothing was too much trouble.
Amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, food and service! Great ambience too!
It was very nice and clean and the staff looked after you we all had aternoon tea with some drinks very good
Very much a 5 star hotel but without the pretentiousness you often find.
Children are more than tolerated they are welcomed and catered for.
What can you say, parking easy, surroundings, lovely, people friendly. My wife, her father and I came for afternoon tea. It was fantastic, and would recommend to anyone. You dont have to be staying in the hotel, you dont have to be a golf player. I would say dont dress up, but dont dress up either. But looking in the shops after the tea, wow. Think i need to get a better job, as i wouldnt be buying anything from there ha ha.
Fantastic hotel in glorious Scottish setting with the highest quality golfing and other sporting experiences to enjoy.
Surroundings and food were awesome, but I've of the waiters touched my shoulder (s) not once but twice while I was seated at my table. Totally unnecessary and inappropriate.
The hotel par excellance! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the food is excellent and the facilities are plentiful. I defy anyone not to enjoy a stay here.
This place is awesome... an other level if you get the chance to visit.. go
Obcenely expensive, beautiful location and some of the facilities are lovely but, ridiculous prices for some very average food.
