Spectacular staff and front desk. Kevin found me in a hallway needing assistance and saved the day. A true pleasure.

Upon my arrival I noticed that there is plenty of parking space and even if you parked far away it was easy to enter the hotel. Upon crossing the threshold of the entrance you can see a glamorous hotel lobby with huge interior and I got the sense that this was definitely a 4-star establishment. I went to this hotel because I applied for a driver position and I had already completed an online application; I had only stopped by to drop off my resume and then I was greeted by two gentlemen. Both of which were drivers one was friendly the other was very standoffish did not smile much and looked like he did not want to be there. The friendly one named Greg shared hotel information with me and details about the shuttle, answered all my questions promptly and provided a warm welcome encounter. Thank you again mr. Gregg for the kind friendly welcome and keep smiling. I strongly believe the unhappy driver mr. Frank can learn a thing or two from you.
Rooms does not have much amenities.. alteast kettle to heat water would have helped..
It was nice. I just wish when no feathers are requested I could walk into my room without having to dose up with benadryl. Advice for the staff would be to listen and follow guests requests. Maybe keep some rooms hypoallergenic at all times. You can always add feathers if requested. This is very important and caused me to be sick most of the night.
The hotel is very nice and the staff are extremely pleasant. Made guests a cup of coffee at 330 am! Would definitely stay there again
I was visiting a friend who was staying there. Beautiful hotel, staff was nice, coffee bar was a little unresponsive/slow.
This hotel has the most amazing staff and customer service. From the valet attendants, to the front desk personnel, to the chef who cooks breakfast and the bartenders who make drinks during happy hour, they are all friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel..
Nicely finished. Great menu in the restaurant and breakfast buffet was well stocked.
The Marriot had excellent service with a responsive team. The room was clean upon arrival and was well maintained throughout my stay. It was also a very convenient location.
Front desk manager (female) has horrible attitude and would NOT help my husband after hearing my last name "Rodriguez". Funny, seemed a bit racist to me. He was told there was no room booked for either of us. But, when I called and forced the issue, she found it after a simple search. Will never stay there again due to the total disrespect. Just because my name is Rodriguez doesn't mean my money doesn't spend like everyone else's. Never again. Also, she then lied to me and tried to say that no one ever even went to the front desk with either of our names.
The hotel is easy to access. Breakfast is exceptional and the rooms are very good.
This place is always clean and has outstanding service.
Staff were very nice. Lobby and restaurant area was nice. Rooms and beds were comfortable.
Stayed this past weekend for the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl. Professional, courteous staff. Clean rooms and common areas.
Angela at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Absolutely a fantastic experience. Keep up the great work!
This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff
Can I give it a negative? We were there for the Cotton Bowl And booked a Room for 4. First, when we got there we noticed it was a king bed only even though the Room said king bed with a chair or couch. The Room should sleep four. This Room could not sleep for so we had to call down and get a roll away bed which didn't come with any blankets. When we came in I noticed that there were 2 marks on the wall where it looked like somebody had hit the wall. However, it was not my family who hit the wall. I thought it was odd since the advertisement said that it was a newly renovated hotel. I did not think anything else about it until I got a $300 charge to my bank for those 2 marks on the wall which I know 100% we did not do. We were barely in the room since we were out doing Cotton Bowl events. When I spoke with the manager he said, "you know we inspect the rooms?" Well if that were true I wish they would have inspected it before we got there. Because not only would they have seen those holes in the wall but they would have noticed that the glass door to the bathroom is absolutely filthy. I'm sorry that your housekeeping did not do their job and report those holes from the actual people who did them, But I know 100% that it was not my family that did it. I am not paying $300 for someone else's damage. We travel all over the world and not one time have we had this happen. I would be more than happy to pay for damage that my family did because accidents do happen and given that my mother works in the hotel industry, I understand what goes into hotel work. I would never represent her or my company that way. I do not Appreciate having $300 stolen out of my account and then being treated like a petty criminal over damage I did not do.
The staff has been friendly but it doesn t seem like they were prepared for this weekend. They were out of some food choices and I called down for an extra blanket, which you would think they would have and they said they had given all of them out. The bed was also, hard as a rock. I guess it s too much to ask for a comfortable bed when you spend your hard earned money on a hotel room. I will definitely look at other options before choosing Marriott again.
Was here for a meeting. They were great, showed me to the meeting room instead of just pointing!
Can be loud next to the freeway. I don't know if there's a moisture Pan inside the rooms, but it can get muggy.
Marriott is usually a decent chain but this time when I registered for a room on our work system it doesn't record my Elite status membership and when I showed up I received none of the usual benefits like an upgraded room on a higher floor. I don't think the receptionist even looked at my preferences and did not try to accommodate for my gold status. I used the M Lounge coffee machine and it broke on the first try just making a latte then there was no one around when the machine says ask for assistance. The first guy I saw in the back ignored me completely so I told the receptionist at the machine wasn't working. A few minutes later a couple of people showed up to take a look at it but they had no interest in saying hi or showing any interest in the customers in the lounge. Later in the lobby there were staff members to say hi to the customers. Overall the hotel is okay but don't expect much here. There are limited food choices around here.
Good location close to the airport, free shuttle, nice amenities, updated rooms.
We stayed there for a cheer competition last weekend. There were 3 teams from our gym. The majority of our rooms were not ready by the stated check in time of 4:00. We were given excuses about what a full house they had the night before. Many of us had to return our luggage to our cars because we had practice that night and couldn t get ready. The staY itself was fine, however the day after checkout I received an email that we had damaged a hand towel and would be charged $50. $50 for a hand towel with makeup on it!! I was shocked. I have asked several times if they even tried to wash the towel and never receive a response. I was told they went through every room where cheerleaders were staying and took pictures of the towels. Any towels with makeup on them were charged to the customer. I filed a complaint with Marriott corporate and have tried to talk to two different managers but neither will respond to my emails. Will never stay there again !!
Had several rooms here for a wedding and this Marriott had the perfect view and location. Rooms were very nice and clean.
Last minute stay and got a great room at a good price.
Remolded and nice location. The rooms are comfortable too.
Stayed at DFW Airport Marriott South from 6/21- 6/23. The first night I stayed there was a situation where my room was charged for something that I did not purchase. I spoke with the management team and the manager on site at the time ( I believe her name was Jennifer ) handled this situation very well. Seeing that I was frustrated and reasonably so, she provided several options to me in order to correct the error. The fact that she was understanding, offered solutions and corrected the error quickly were great things to see as a customer. Quality customer service, along with nice newly renovated rooms made for a great stay in the end.
Nice property. My room was freshly renovated on the 6th floor. The bathroom was nice. I liked the showerheads. Large HD tv. There was a fridge and a sa r e in the closet. Funny thing is that it was missing a trashcan in the room. Please ty of places to charge electronics. The restaurant is temporary right now. The food was good. The waitress was very pleasant. Will stay there again in the future.
Very nice hotel. The room was modern and very clean. The staff was great and everything we asked for was brought to the room immediately. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The TV had Netflix for you to access your account which was great for the kids. Excellent stay and a great value.
First time staying here and I would choose it again. Room was nicely renovated and clean. Friendly staff at check in. So glad I chose this location for my business travel.
The staff here is very nice combinations are nice Very helpful
Great reception but room lacks storage for the two of us for a week
Very nice, clean establishment. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Close to the airport with great shuttle service. Attended a major work banquet here and enjoyed every minute!
I like this hotel. Been there a couple times now. Staff is super friendly and the rooms are nice.
Very clean rooms with new furnishing. Decent wi-fi.
I will give 2 because beds are comfortable.
I am credible, having given 30+ years of my life to travel & tourism & twice completing Marriott's very detailed Travel Industry Course. I am now retired. I booked 3 rooms total at this hotel online in August 2018 with check-in Sep 02 for 1 nt, each room. The rooms were booked as nonrefundable. We arrived 50 minutes prior to 300pm checkin. We were unable to check in early, so we waited until after 3pm & were told rooms would not be available until after 4pm due to large group departure. Rooms were not ready until after 5pm & 1 after 6pm.
We waited 3-4 hours before rooms were ready. We had plans to attend an event @ 630pm & front desk could care less. Very poor handling of guests in my opinion. And to top it off...the hotel billed us for an extra room, which took 10 days to reconcile. There ARE several hotel brands competing with Marriott Courtyard category to choose from. We can say with confidence, the ala cart restaurant & room rates are priced too high. We were on a 5 week driving vacation with an overnt in DFW to attend a college football game. I preferred Marriott's & our stay at this property would have convinced my husband to book 18 more nights at Marriott hotels across country. Unfortunately Marriott will not be a consideration or recommendation in our future hotel stay plans
I attended the annual breast cancer awareness event and the staff and facilities were amazing,
The attention and friendliness of the house staff keepiing
Nice place and beautiful room. However, all staff has been extremely rude to us and treated us like we are scum because we arent "fancy well dressed white people". Its almost like being treated like a leper which is nice when you spend nearly $200 on a room.
There was an oversight with our booking, but the staff gave us a discount on our room to make it right. The room was wonderful, clean, and comfortable. I would stay again, and recommend the hotel to family and friends.
Room is fantastic, so are the rest amenities. Stayed the night to attend an event in the main Trinity Ballroom. Arrived at DFW Airport late at night and had a horrible time getting to the hotel from the airport on the shuttle. Eventually the gal at the airport just told me to take a taxi and they reimbursed it. Which was nice, but not sure what was wrong with their normal procedure for the shuttle. So other than that delay things were lovely. They took care of us at the event.
I stayed there for 1 night and had a terrible experience. There were bed bugs on the room I stayed. I did went to front desk and complain about it but they just took my email and said we will investigate on it. Lol investigation on bed bug that s something. It has already been like 3 days no apology email or nothing that means they damn care about their customer after they check out. So I will not be back again there. No way don t want to bring bed bug and nightmares on my house. I have included a picture below. Also I have some video footage I showed them on the front desk same day.
The breakfast was fairly good, though a bit unreasonable pricewise.
Even after giving them my spg number and being a platinum elite. I was not offered my breakfast coupon had to ask for!! It's the little things people do your job.
I loved the "moderness" of Marriott. The hospitality of the staff was top notch. The room was very nice, clean, and well put together. The bed was nice and comfy. It felt a lot more open than some other Hilton hotels I've been at. The shower was very nice. I can't get enough or it. I would go back just for the shower. There were 2 shower heads that could be used to wash hard to reach places or at the same time (for you know what )
But overall, I loved this hotel and glad I could stay in it.
Drove 6 hours to get here. First, I got mixed up with which Marriot I was staying at so I called the reservation line. After multiple calls and multiple people telling me there's no reservations at any of the 12 locations in the area FINALLY one person found it and gave me the address. Got checked in easily , I booked 2 rooms. 1 was a kind for 2 nights , 1 was a double queen for 1 night. Got into our King and it's HOT. The AC would not cool the room lower than 73 degrees. They had maintenance come DOUR TIMES before moving us to another room that was cooler but not great. Guess the air in the whole hotel isn't very good.
Then when my grandpa and dad came the next day for their room, they put them in the same room we moved from which was pitiful and it wasn't even 2 queens , it was a long! So they decided to give me a discounted night which was wonderful.
Checkout day comes, and I'm charged double. Not worth the money, will never book again. BUT staff was very friendly which I appreciated.
No free coffee in lobby. Rooms are swanky. Right next to DFW airport. Beware of traffic backups on hwy 20 heading into the city
First rate staff; friendly, helpful, always go the extra mile for you. The rooms are perfect; exceptionally clean, down pillows and duvet, large and quiet. Couldn't be happier.
