On September 20th at 9:45 a.m. IC in Berlin Gesundbrunen to Binz simply failed without an announcement or no message on the app. An hour later we would have to take a regional train. just drive to Stralsund. The train was jam-packed and the crowds stuck together. It's Corona time. We weren't even 1cm away. Nobody did anything, always more and more people got on at each station and got even closer. We would have to endure this for about 3 hours. It's no wonder that the Corona number has suddenly increased everywhere in Berlin, Hanover, Bremen, Cologne. I don't know before the train came. The train that got on came about 1 hour. later.
In Berlin, there are complaints about increased corona numbers. It's not a miracle. He should rather observe strict rail control and planning. Instead of warning the population now. Don't wear a mask because of your mouth and nose and keep a distance of 1.5 m !!? We had a maximum of 10-15 cm distance. Pack your own nose! Federal railway capital if there is no discipline where else. Just treat people like animals! Kind regards Aysen Mrosk.

If you change the Gesundbrunnen, the drivers are not able to wait, even though you can see that the train is coming in on the same track and that some people would like to change. Prefer to take her and you have to wait for the next train. Service-oriented looks different from my friends. In addition, a blind eye is turned in controlling still when it comes to male passengers. It's okay brother, it's not discriminatory and really brave to go out for a woman in pairs and let the big guy run by.

So much for the S-Bahn service.

As far as train connections are concerned, the offer is good, but much too expensive. Why pay 150 for a ride when you can fly for 50 . Environmental awareness is not promoted here either. You can fly three times for the money.

Today I was allowed to wait 30 minutes unnecessarily for an hour and again I'm late after 160 minutes at the beginning of the year. Feels like you're putting it on but it's been like this for years. Unfortunately, a monopoly, customer service would be something ... Otherwise everyone will switch back to any possible alternative to Corona.

Not very modern, buying a ticket requires to get a stamp (it s 2019?) even when the date and time already printed on the ticket, service staff are rude and directions in the trains are not obvious. Coming to Munich as a tourist, i had different expectations for the public transit. In other cities and countries, tickets are cheaper and more tourist friendly...lots of improvement potential here

This company has zero customer focus. How can you actually manage the best and most environmentally friendly means of transport?
The managers have probably never traveled privately before. Railway stations are falling apart, dirty and strange audiences are hanging around. Trains are late because there are not enough rails and platforms at nodes. ICE runs on regional routes at a snail's pace. One shouldn't drive around with DB Schenker in the history of the world if the rail business in Germany is so bad. Not enough trains and staff. Rails, bridges and train stations broken. Far away from digitization.
In Germany, it wasn't just the railroad that got down. The entire infrastructure is crumbling away. Good night Germany.

UNFRIENDLY! TOO expensive! UNRELIABLE! DOWN COME! I had to pay 60 today because at 1 am I did not have a bike ticket at one stop before my stop although I am allowed to carry my bike.

Apparently you do not want to understand that or listen to me!

addendum:

So much for that! Do not lose weight if you're right since!

ICE 674 from Frankfurt to Kiel, simply canceled on 09/17/2020. Then by regional train to Fulda to take the completely overcrowded ICE to Hamburg. The reservation was really worth it again. In addition, a paper form must still be filled out for a fare refund, for delays> 60 minutes or> 120 minutes. Online would be too easy and too customer-oriented. Poor railway, nothing will happen to you anymore ...

As a customer, I like to rate the companies here. I find the service of this company worse from year to year. Each of the 5 remote services used in Q4 2018 had an average delay of 35 minutes, with 4 consecutive follow-up / career appointments. That felt different three years ago. It was now every time internal DB-indebted organizational / technical reasons. the employees seem annoyed at me, the material seems worn out. The BahnCard from October I consider a big mistake, because I have to rely professionally on punctuality, which I currently can not. A pity, I sincerely wish the company all the best, but I can only advise against it at the moment.

As a student without a car, I use Deutsche Bahn very often and with pleasure. It comes very quickly and absolutely stress-free from A to B. In addition, the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Traveled by train from Berlin to Cologne in the last month and that was really relaxed, because I drove for the first time in the first class. The service was great and the ride felt only a few hours

Guys, you ask in the normal rate on the weekend 260 (TWO-HUNDRED !!!!!!) for the route Berlin - Nuremberg back and forth ... I drove this connection the last two years a total of 12 and came exactly ONLY ONCE TIME AGAIN IN BERLIN AN.I'm considering in the future, at least for the return trip to the road to change, because of the delays usually takes no longer and costs me a quarter of the price.

Thanks for the abolishment of the "nice weekend" ticket and the closure of my DB travel center. You can not book everything online. For the planning of the trip, I can now travel over 20km and must accept inflexible group rates without stoning possibility. 5 years ago that was still around the corner. Sad!

Not recommendable! One star is already too much of...

Not recommendable! One star is already too much of a good thing. More than half a year ago I applied to Deutsche Bahn for numerous vacancies ("conductors" / travel companions, lateral entrants, train drivers, etc.) at Deutsche Bahn and, despite the promise, I received no response, even via the contact form on the Internet, which is often used is pointed out. Now, after six months, I'm calling the central hotline, wanting to be connected to the "HR department". But the "Deutsche Bahn" does not have anything like that. Instead, I am forwarded to a number switch (which is supposed to assign direct numbers to you). This number center then refers me back to the contact form, which I have already used several times. Basically: "I should type a message into the contact form and then just wait?" Where do we live, with the best will in the world ?! I am by no means an impatient person, but after six months you will probably get a halfway satisfactory answer such as: "We have viewed your documents, we have them on our screen and we will inform you again shortly." Or in the worst case, of course, a rejection. I can live with that too. But at least I want feedback.

What I can't figure out: Deutsche Bahn advertises everywhere with "skilled workers" and "shortage of young talent" etc. on public transport posters, on the Internet, in the "daily news". Dear Sir or Madam: I am here and IMMEDIATELY ready. to move anywhere in the Federal Republic of Germany, to acquire new knowledge, but that's all I can do for you!

Yes, one thing is certain. We definitely live in the 21st century in the service desert "BRD". That one so ... I just don't have the right words ... apparently simply can't or doesn't want to help someone, just doesn't understand me. The ladies and gentlemen at the state-owned company "Deutsche Bahn AG" are probably on a high horse, are too vain and self-sufficient and do not see themselves in a position to meet a young interested and willing applicant (=> catchphrase: "Future for Germany" ) to organize a direct phone number, let alone a suitable (e-mail) address for his request.
True to the motto: "I have the longer handle. I can do more than you."

My conclusion: I will NOT RECOMMEND all of your services to my family and friends!

I've travelled extensively as a tourist with DBahn, and whilst there can be delays and cancellations, I've generally been happy with them. However, I was appalled by their lack of support during a recent trip. I bought a family Lander ticket online (around 30 EUR) for a day out. Unfortunately an incident on the line meant no trains would be running in either direction for the next 3-4 hours, meaning a day out with a 14 month child would not be happening. I enquired at the station about getting a refund on the ticket, and was given a form to fill in. Unfortunately the response to the claim was that due to 'legal guidelines', and this being a saver ticket, I will receive nothing back. No service for me to use, and they keep my money. Feels like a 'check the small print' con to me, and not the way a supposedly reputable company should behave.

If you are dependent on a region, you can have bad luck that you come home very late or not at all. What did I buy an annual subscription for - yes, because it is cheaper. Bad if I have to take a taxi, because a train breaks down - and there is no replacement (because Regio only runs once an hour). Really funny then the loudspeaker announcement: use the connections of the BVG (or something like that) - dignity I like - only where I have to go either there is no bus at all or not at this time. But the main thing is that you only need 4 hours to get to Bavaria theoretically !!!

Only bad. The trains in Berlin are running, but they are constantly being canceled. Best example: S26. What the line actually exists for has been more than questionable since it was launched (January 2018). And you pay high costs every month so that you are almost always late.

We went with our class on school trip. First of all the train and we had to wait over 7 hours for a replacement train. When this finally came an extra wagon should be reserved for us and two other classes. This one was too small and half of us would have to sit on the floor. As a result, other students were chased away from their seats by the unfriendly railway employees and also had to sit on the floor, despite the fact that we paid just like everyone else. Very disappointing.

Impossible, wait for it and nothing happens, you should report to you who will be the ones who get infected. Submitted my resignation and I will recommend it to others. Must run from wagon to wagon, get in to make the next stop whether full or not, junkeys and homeless people from the trains point out with a high risk of infection. Make up your mind for your security guards or just give them station strips with the request to avoid gathering people.

Never in my life have I seen such uncomfortable people. You get to hear a no from almost every employee at DB. I had a ticket for a later train but unfortunately I was at the main station much earlier due to certain circumstances and therefore asked 3 employees if I could take an earlier train. NO NO NO, this is the saver fare ticket, it doesn't work, NO NO NO, you have to buy a new ticket. All right, new ticket which would cost 40 euros for a trip that takes an hour? You're definitely not ticking right. Big thanks to the conductor who let me go anyway. At least one who doesn't think like a robot and is only programmed to NO.

The Deutsche Bahn behaved towards me as a non-customer-friendly company. The company makes no effort to find a customer-friendly solution to my problem. Since my mail was not answered for over a week, I called customer service. I was treated condescendingly and insultingly on the phone. I was described as stupid and unable. The gentleman on the phone refused to deal with my concerns. At my request to connect me with another employee, he simply hung up.

Where should I start ??

Where should I start ??

- bad, inflexible connections (for destinations in the greater distance you put back much more distance, as compared with a car, this would be the fastest connection, which is possible with the train. This obviously has method, since you also for the covered Distance and not the direct distance has to pay)
- completely overpriced and barely worth it. For a 2nd class ticket at a long distance in Germany 200 to pay and then no claim to have a seat is a bad joke. A standing room does not even go through as a third class according to contemporary assessment. If you are traveling with a child and the little one falls asleep sitting on the floor, you do not have the right words for this donation club. Because as nothing else I can understand the amount I should pay for the ticket. That's just not up to date. How about an extra wagon? Finally, the Bahnapp already indicates the capacity utilization of the line in advance.
- Even with a seat reservation ( 4.50 extra) you have bad luck if the arrangement of the wagons has changed. Then you can fill in with disproportionate effort his forms and after x minutes waiting time at the counter you finally come to his line of reasoning for the unsuccessful reservation to get back to 4.50 - shame on you.
- Apparently fake travel times - the travel times are calculated so that the train even in the best case this can not or hardly reach. Any minor deviation enhances the delay. The trains are generally too slow and if you then still the cumbersome connections and missed connections together takes a seemingly well-planned trip a real ordeal.

If I have another option, I will not take the train.

The railway does not fulfill its task of passenger transport. Train is late, the coffee machine on the train has no function, the train stops in the middle of the track takes the guests from another ICE. Duration about 3 hours. Then transfer to another train, thus no more seat reservations. The train is dirty, the toilets even more. It is a disgrace for Germany. The board of the train should look at Japan how it works.

Oh, hurt ... - the Deutsche Bahn ...

Oh, hurt ... - the Deutsche Bahn ...

Drive to Eisenach with the ICE (Model 1, I thought, they are already in the museum ...). Engine damage in Leipzig, change to another ICE, ONLY ;-) one hour late. If you want a reimbursement, you have to fill in the application forms, attach a copy of the ticket, etc., etc ...
Why not the birth certificate? Of course, as a certified copy ... :-(

Then ten days later, the return journey: 'Detour', called diversion, because, this sounds better ... on Bitterfeld, as Wittenberg and Berlin destination station are not controlled, instead arrival Berlin Hauptbahnhof !!! Even as an experienced city dweller, I can not bear this station, how are people from the provinces doing? I would immediately turn back there ...

Allegedly, according to the lady of the DB on the train, the redirection would already have been known at the time of the ticket purchase - nobody told us that, well, something like that can happen before ...
... and, and, and ... I'm tired of reporting everything that can happen to this DB ...

In its best moments (unfortunately far too rare!), The DB is terrific! Herrlich, the Burgundian is already working, I'm relaxed, but why is the train the whole time in the station Leipzig?
Oh yes, then came the announcement, the engine driver is in the engine compartment on troubleshooting ... - it may take ...

2 stars, too bad!

Outrageously high prices, but partly despite lack of customers serious savings in terms of employees and network. No reception on the routes. Online booking is extremely cumbersome. It takes forever to get access. Passwords cannot simply be reset either. The pages are partly confusing. Investments are made in the truest sense of the word in barrels without a bottom (cargo).
On one of my routes, I almost always stopped because of a breakdown.

The price system has become significantly more exp...

The price system has become significantly more expensive in the last three years (increases by up to 50% in the savings price range). In 2016 and 2017, prices between 40 and 52 were paid for a trip between Berlin and Fulda (round trip) with the BC 25, provided you had a min. booked two weeks in advance. Meanwhile, you pay in the super savings price range between 60 and 76 (BC 25 included, but the cancellation option on the introduction of a SuperSparpreises, thus a hidden price jump, was abolished).

This is contrasted by the following performance of the DB evaluation after ten train journeys (0 - 2 transfers per trip) this year:

- four late (15 - 60 minutes)
- one considerably delayed (more than 60 minutes)
- canceled a trip

- WLAN significantly reduced on nine trips in the 2nd Class or not practically usable, since emails are sent only after several attempts and minutes of waiting, similar in terms of browser pages. Thus, neither privately nor professionally work in a DB train of the 2nd class - s. Photos attached!

- Questionable-dubious advertising campaigns, in which the attention-grabbing clearly outweigh the content - Example: For allegedly particularly customer loyalty, there is the possibility to take a passenger for free. However, if you look at the conditions, you can see that this alleged benefit does not apply to the price but to the flex price. In fact, this is not a discount at all, as the Flex ticket, at least a few weeks before booking, is more than twice as expensive! Attention: misleading newsletters!

In the end, I leave the assessment of the competitiveness and performance as well as the technologies and modernity of the Deutsche Bahn ultimately to the reader.

Deutsche Bahn (DB) is one of the most unprofessional and worst-run companies in Germany!
I can only advise anyone to avoid the train within Germany and to go by car. I am aware that this does not benefit the environment and also leaves the wallet. However, I arrive by car relatively punctually where I want to go and I do not have daily failures, such as technical faults, delays, Wagonmangel, business interruptions, route disturbances, weather conditions, crowded trains and more. deal with. Finally, I can only recommend anyone who does not have the whole day to spend time on the track or even at the train station, to switch to another means of transport.

Yours sincerely,
