Displays and overall decor seems very dated, and compared to aquariums in other big cities, this falls very short. Gave it 3 stars because it was a great place for younger children, but that's also who they seem to be catering to. The Tiger (at an aquarium?) was the most entertainning, even though displaced, feature there.

Great way to educate the kids about oceanic animals! See Tigers, rattlesnakes, eat at the luxurious giant tank side restaurant, feed rays, and of course the gift shop! They also have a ballroom and bar on the lower level.

Was amazing... the restaurant... the feeding of the stingrays... the 4D theater (watched sharks)... and the gift shop has a tremendous selection of souvenirs... and in the restaurant you can order certain drinks or drafts that let you take home a souvenir glass!!!!!

It's about what you'd expect from an aquarium in a landlocked state. I love going and seeing the fish and other animals, I just have a hard time justifying the entry price for the experience you get. If you're coming with kids, absolutely bring them! It's a great experience for them! But as an adult it leaves a bit to be desired (especially compared with aquariums in states like California or Oregon). I will say this is one of the only places I got to see a mantis shrimp, but the second time I visited it was hiding and we couldn't find it in the tank.
The bar has decent food, and the experience of eating with the fish in the background is fun. The Ray experience at the end of the aquarium loop is fun! It's always fun to be able to touch and interact with sea critters.

I'd say that the aquarium is a great place to visit once.

Interesting restaurant. However, the food was nothing like shown on the pictures - totally misleading! The music was also obnoxious, partly because the speakers are place on the very high ceiling, and poor selections. All one would hear is annoying noise!

A lot of diffrent species big and small - the sharks and stingrays were my favorites. The tiger was sleeping but I liked the viewing exhibit. We had fun feeding the sting rays- keep yourself dry cause they splash!!!

Another great attraction offered by Downtown Denver. The variety of fish is extensive and they offer swimming with fish and sharks excursions. High quality family fun or a romantic date location.

Went to dinner at the Denver Aquarium, our server Matt was AMAZING. So kind and very quick to get our orders in. Made the experience 100 times better by having a server who was so upbeat and happy to be there.

Good aquarium with lots of exibits. The tigers were cool but their exibit is small. The restaurant was impressive and staff was friendly. Parking is easy and everything was reasonably priced.

It's a quick aquarium filled with fun. It only takes us about an hour and a half to do with kids. A good amount of sharks, a tiger and mermaids. After you get past all the exhibits there is a shallow pool you can pet sting rays and if your timing is right, I believe noon, you can get a picture with mermaids. Also face painting and kids can climb palm trees. (With safety equipment) all in all a good afternoon

Fun.

I bought my tickets through groupon and ran into an issue redeeming them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we got in the food was good and the exhibits were great! Definitely going to go back!

The kids (4 and 2) love it here. We usually miss the mermaid show because it gets so crowded but they love every exhibit. Their favorite was the show during the summer which included some of the other more exotic animals.

They have a pretty good show, though many of the fish do not look healthy. The entrance is one of the worse I have experienced at a place like this. It is situated poorly, so the line has to go out the door. They pressure you to take a photo, even if you tell them no multiple times. The membership window is difficult to get to and when I last when there the c-clasp of the rope sliced my thumb - the button was missing and instead there was sharp metal... lesson learned. If you want to bring a guest as a member, you have to wait in the line to convert the pass into a bracelet... they are just disorganized.

They have restaurants here, but of the three times I tried to go, twice they were closed. It appears they close down before the "lunch rush," but since I have a toddler and have to drive home for naps, I eat lunch at 11:30am... It is as if they are unaware that the primary demographic for what they sell are parents with young children.

My recommendation is to go to see for yourself, but don't buy a membership until you have been through the whole thing. This is the first membership I have regretted getting.

Very crowded. Extremely over priced. Tiny tanks with small pathways. Parking is $7. For 2 adults and 2 kids, it was over $70. Ridiculous for how compact it was. Don't expect to see a grand aquarium folks. Been to better aquariums at half the cost of this.

Gorgeous, mesmerizing and educational. I could watch the big aquarium for hours. The tigers are usually napping when I'm there but the otters are always mischievous. Plenty of great opportunities for photos. The restaurant is classy and, of course, you can still watch the big aquarium while you dine.

This aquarium was a huge disappointment. Along with having three tigers in one exhibit . They look miserable and should be either at a zoo or the Wildlife sanctuary. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Not worth $20+ per person. Very short aquarium walkthrough. Restaurant inside is also pricey. Some unique features compared to other aquariums such as different biomes with different creatures.

Nice Aquarium to visit if you are visiting Denver, though many of the other attractions at the aquarium are accessible at an additional cost. They have a cool program where you can learn to scuba dive in the tanks with the larger fish and sharks. If you are visiting Denver, I would recommend looking into purchasing the Denver CityPASS, which will give you access to various attractions at a reduced rate. We did this and went to the Botanical Gardens, the Nature and Science Museum and the Aquarium.

We decided to visit our of boredom. The tanks looked dirty and even worse a LOT of the fish didn t look healthy. Some had open sores around their mouths and along their bodies, some were missing fins and eyes and others looked lethargic and in the verge of death. The price is way too high for the size of it. The tigers are an awesome touch, but they also didn t look healthy. While there we saw some divers cleaning, but it didn t look like they were doing much more than dusting sand off of rocks. I hope the fish with open sores are seen by a vet soon.

Pretty good aquarium! I understand that aquariums are expensive to keep up and run, but I feel like 20$ for a single pass is kind of expensive. There are a lot of ocean creatures, and the last tank is by far the best! The flash flood area is pretty cool too, as well as the sting ray petting area. The pictures are ridiculously overpriced though. A single set of 3 photos without a frame is like 25$. Its overall a pretty good aquarium and if you aren't worried about the prices then I definitely recommend visiting!
