Literally, a National treasure. Breath taking views and amazing scenery. There was still so much more to see but we unfortunately ran out of time. Would love to come back during a different season to see what changed.

A must visit for Alaska. 2-3 days to take in the park, hike, and visit the wonderful husky village. Flights available to get close up to the mountain and river rafting nearby. Train ride to Fairbanks very nice; beautiful views while you enjoy a delicious meal !

The park itself is gorgeous. Sweeping vistas as you travel the park road. You can only drive to mile 14 along the park road, after that it is park buses and special permits only. Recommend you take a tour to at least the Eiselon Visitor Center for a better chance to see Wildlife and Denali (Denali is only visible 30% of the time).

5 Star to great Denali, but this national park office needs to work on many things. Like movie they show, doesn't provide much information & no narration. They need to put more information about Mount, like big display picture and location of the mountain in visitor center.
Also they need to put display on the view points in the park so that tourist know where to look exactly, most the time Denali is covered in the clouds.
5 Stars to all Renegers.

If you like great views and lots of nature, this is a fabulous place. Come see the highest peak in North America, if you are one of the 30% that are lucky enough to be here when it is not covered in cloud.

This place makes you feel so tiny and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It's vastness is mind blowing. Even though we didn't get to see Mt Denali because of clouds, this was completely worth it. We saw bears, moose, a few goats among other wildlife. The views from the road to Kanthisna are amazing as well. Even though we didn't camp or hike in the park, I would recommend it to people who can. We definitely want to go back there to hike or camp once.

Absolutely beautiful National Park with incredible views of the stunning Alaskan wilderness. Trails from the main visitor center are vast and a lot of fun, if relatively easy. Harder and more adventurous trails are found further out in much harder to reach areas. Visitor center is massive and it's a delight just walk around there and take in the exhibits.

Not worth it, in my opinion, unless you like riding a slow, crowded old school bus, with no air conditioning while Cadillac sized mosquitoes feed on your tasty, sweaty self. Bring a book because there isn't much to see along the way.

If you just want to catch a good glimpse of the highest peak in North America, then continue south on highway 3 where you will find a turnout or two, to take in the view. If you're going past Healy, be sure to eat, drink and be merry at the 49th State Brewery. Make sure to watch the movie Into The Wild before you go.

It's a limited vehicle access national park. It's primitive and pristine. A bus will take you deep into the park. Wildlife abounds all around you. You can take a walk in just about any direction you choose.

Amazing high altitude mountaineering experience. Self guided non supported trip second time for me. I climbed the summit and skied down in telemark style as a first woman to do so from the Balkans :)

Alpenglow restaurant had mediocre food, the wait staff were all unprofessional and rude, the prices were not a fair balance to the quality of food and service, will not return ever again. Nice views, but that shouldn't cost an arm and a leg unless the food and service matches up to it. Never again.

Holy crap! That's all you can really say about Denali.

The mountain is amazing! I highly recommend a flying tour around Denali so that you can understand the scale and scope of what you're seeing. Be sure to land on the glacier beside the mountain and to be consumed by the vastness of nature. If you don't get emotional standing near Denali, then you're just not human.

The wilderness and beauty of Denali is difficult to describe. If you enjoy the outdoors this is a must-see destination.

One of my favorite and most vivid memories in my life came during a trip to Denali in the early 2000s. We were lucky enough to stay for a few nights at cabins inside the park proper a few miles from Wonder Lake. Denali had been socked in with clouds as usual for the whole trip. On our last day we rode bikes down to Wonder Lake and clouds had parted with a magnificent view of Denali. We hung out for hours eating blueberries from the bushes and enjoying the sights and sounds of Alaska.

AMAZING!!! The sights are second to none!!! Mt. McKinley was showing in it's full glory and it was a sight!! Climbed to the top of Mt. Healy which was a tough but well well worth it hike!!!

If I could give it a no star rating I would. We booked a handicap accessible tour for my Father who is a paralyzed Veteran. We show up an hour before our trip. The bus shows up and is not wheelchair accessible. Which we run into fairly often. They state that the excursion that we booked had no other busses that are handicap accessible and tell us that we can chose a different excursion that runs 3 hours later than the one that we booked. Which would be fine but we got up at 2 am and drove 4 hours to get here. The tour would end at 11 tonight which means we won t get home for a full 24 hours from the time we woke this morning. The only thing they can say is, We re sorry this happened to you. You messed up. Not us. Fix the problem! Never again will I come back.

This is truly one of the gems of North America. We love visiting in early fall (Beginning of September) due to all the yellow birch tree leaves. This year due to COVID a lot of the tours were limited due to social distancing standards. That being said, it was great hiking and camping in the park. On the short drive from the visitors center to Savage Creek, we saw Moose and Caribou in the wild doing what they do best, eating. I recommend that you book tours in advance prior to arrival. The main months to visit are May through September. Most of the local shops are seasonal as well. If you like the outdoors and enjoy mother nature, I would recommend no less than 5 days.

A must visit if you can. We took the Kantishna Shuttle all the way in to the park and back and was a great way to explore the park. A trip to Wonder Lake is highly recommended. Great views of Mt Denali. We also got a chance to see a lot of wildlife - bears, wolves, dall sheep, moose and caribou with a lot of birds and other small animals.

This is the most civil way to to see wild Alaska. As a resident I visit Denali up to a dozen times a year, and I love it! I've never taken the long tour buses but if I was coming up here to vacation I probably would schedule one

This was amazing! The drive was gorgeous. Mt. Rainer is so high, you can't see the top unless you're 20+ miles away.

We hiked one of the lower trails in the park and it was mind bending. The crisp air, wonderful sights, and animal life was fun to watch.

It took around an hour for our hike and we were protected from the wind so it was quite comfortable, even in February.

After our hike we stopped at the ranger station. The rangers on staff were awesome! So kind. Patient with questions, funny, etc. Easy to spend time in the discovery center there.

Then we ventured a few more miles up to the sled dog kennels. So worth it! Right as we arrived they were bringing some puppies in training back from a run. We were allowed to go meet the dogs aftwr the puppies were kenneled. Loved it! Great family fun.

OMG! What an amazing place. Our bus driver Sharon S. was so knowledgeable about the flora, fawna and history of the park. We saw moose, caribou, sheep and grizzlies! We didn't get to see the mountain...maybe next time!

Thank you for your work National Park Service
The trip was very informative and got me more connected with the wildlife. The mountain view and other scenic views are unique. Though we didn't get to see a lot of wildlife, the bus drivers talked about the vegetation and history of the Park.

We visited in late July 2019, and unfortunately, didn t see the mountain or much wildlife despite taking an early bus to the Eilson visitor center. We also drove our car in the next day to Savage river, which is as far as you can go on your own. We liked the loop trail along the river and saw no wildlife whatsoever. The mountain was there in its full glory as we flew out of FAI. Too bad it was only for a quick minute.

The scenery is amazing but the bus tours are very expensive. It is difficult to get a permit for private vehicles to drive into the park interior so you need to take the bus to see Mt. McKinley and the glaciers.

Denali national park is an impressive location to visit. If you are lucky you will see mount Denali. I visited for 3 days and every evening I drove the 15 mile paved road that you can drive on your own. After that you have to take a shuttle bus. Moose appear to be more active at dusk and I saw them at least 3 times in the same water pond by the road.

One of the most beautiful parks in the United States! A wildlife and a wild and preserved nature. The bus system is to be booked in July August but it is very practical, simple, ecological. The rangers are very present, good advice and warnings for our safety and that of animals too.

What can I say but perfect? You need to see this place to believe it. No other words or pictures can do it justice.

Highly recommend the bus tour as well. Had a driver by the name of Bruce and he was fantastic!

Incredible. We could never spend enough time in this park. We were disappointed the Murie Center was closed but understand it was due to budget issues/concerns. Attended a nature walk with Ranger Christina (?)....she shared really great info. The NPS never disappoints. The visitor center is bustling and NPS staff is readily accessible and very helpful. Hiked one trail to Horseshoe Lake. Beautiful!

This place is amazing. I wish I had enough time to hike all be peaks! Did a quick hike to the outlook for Denali Peaks. Just stunning. The weather changed super quick on us, fog and rain to clear and windy. Just pack for that! Military gets a free park pass that lasts 1 year!
