Talk about beyond breathtaking! We were fortunate enough for the road into the park being open for 30 miles rather than the usual 15. Round corners with sweeping sensational views everywhere the eye can see. Most importantly though, get out of your vehicle and take a hike.... Trail or no trail, the point of this park is to explore and adventure on your own. Keep your eyes peeled for moose, bears, foxes, elk, etc....truly AMAZING place Denali is! With over 6 million acres, there is plenty to see! Get going!

Thanks to the US Parks department for their upkeep of this phenomenal natural wonder!

The utter beauty and power that you feel in nature walking the trails of this national park are hard to describe in words. The chance to see unbridled nature and all of the wild that is Alaska is enough to make you not only appreciate your surroundings but you see the grace and life of our planet.

We went prior to the public opening of the park. Since the roads were cleared, we were able to drive 30 miles into the park, where we set our vehicle and began to pedal in. The route is continuously up hill, with challenging paths and breathtaking scenery. The bonus of this fact is the ride back was smooth and easy. We covered 2 hours of riding up hill in about 30 minutes on the way back.

Be careful of the turns and blind corners. You don't want to startle any wild life or other riders at break neck speeds. Be respectful of the mountain and you will have a glorious time.

Beautiful! So many informative plaques, great interactive section in the building, really a MUST see if you're going through Denali! I've lived in Alaska my whole life and was still fascinated.

Fabulous national park, absolutely worth a visit. A range of bus tours is offers that take you through parts of the park for wildlife viewing. Plenty of toilet stops along the way. Great trails for every preference, stunning views and very well marked paths. Don't miss out if you're in the area!

This park ranks above all the national parks for its beauty, the vast expanse and the amazing work park services have put in to keep it a true wilderness. Definitely recommend to hop on the bus tour to Eielson to catch a glimpse of wildlife and amazing view of Mt Denali if you are among the lucky ones! Key notes for first timers: pack a good lunch there is no food once you leave the bus depot. Take your binoculars and your best camera lenses, wildlife does not come to your bus window to wave you a Howdy! Do a park ranger guides hike for free at Eielson it s fun or do a hike down to river by yourself if you have the energy, this will be an experience to remember! Finally this is true wilderness, wild animals are not your dogs or cats, be safe and follow instructions! On one of our hikes we did see a bear 30 meters away and it s one of the scariest feeling, but if you know what to do they won t engage with humans, also park rangers do an excellent job in sighting wild animals and closing trails off to ensure safety. Thank you DNP services for a great experience!

This park is the best park for viewing wildlife and catch some glimpse of the Denali peak on a clear and sunny day. I would suggest taking the tours offered either by the park (but the good ones are given by some private tours) to enjoy the beauty of the park and its wildlife. Also, the roads are little narrow at some places and the roads are gravel roads, so basically you have to drive at your own risk. When you drive on your own, its difficult to spot wildlife as you drive. I saw the "BIG FIVE" of the animals in the park. Its a good place to relax and enjoy .
