This hotel has the friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever been to, and I've worked for a hotel company for 18 years and stayed all over North America in many chains. In particular, Dawn welcomed me as though she knew me and created a special memory for me and my family. Also, try the onion ring burger. It is phenomenal.

I've been here for events on and off over the years - weddings, work events, etc. I've stayed a few times, had quite a few meals, and even booked a few small events so I've dealt with different levels of staff as well - there's one gentleman who's originally from Nackawic (you know who you are!) who is an absolute sweetheart - dealt with him at three events so far this year and he always makes sure I've got what I need.

The renovations are beautiful, rooms are great, food is good - I'm not over the moon with Catch Urban Grill but it's not that it's bad, just not always as good as it could be, if that makes any sense? Also the Starbucks in the lobby closes before noon, which just doesn't make any sense to me, but they must not get enough business once people check out in the morning to keep it open the rest of the day. A minor inconvenience.

I have to agree with the poster who complained about the snow removal but let's be honest, how are they going to plow the lot if people don't move their cars? I don't envy them that chore.

I mean really, the only downside about the place is that it's not super close to the downtown core, but it's only a 20-25 minute walk to City Hall, so long as you're not wearing heels or dragging a suitcase behind you, that's not so bad, and you can use the walking trail by the river to go if you want. On the plus side it's actually got free parking, there are other restaurant choices if need be (the Diplomat and two diners nearby), plus it's walking distance from my office, which is super convenient when I have work events to attend to (easier when lugging equipment and the like).

Long story short: I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family (and anyone else who asks)!

Room was a good size but was a bit dated. My wife, daughter and I myself tried to go to sleep around 9:30 but the guests int he room next to use had other plans. We tolerated loud music, yelling and constant traffic in and out of their room until 11:30pm. I started pounding on the wall, they were quiet for about 5 minutes before starting back up. i finally phoned guest services who I could hear knock on their door 10 minutes later. The noise level dropped but it wasn't quiet until about 1:30am. By then I was to stressed to sleep. The Hotel itself is nice but the staff should make a habit of making a couple rounds in the evening to ensure rude guests are not ruining the experience. I would only return if I was guaranteed a peaceful evening.I do understand that its not the Hotel's fault but I think they could do more to prevent these situations if they even care about their reputation.

Ended up staying again for 2 night this year Dec (2017). I asked for an upgrade due to our last experience. They put us in a "premier" room. This stay was MUCH better. No noise, nice view of the river and comfy bed. Air was dry and stuffy so not good if you have allergies.

My husband and I stayed for two nights during the Highland games and it was just the best to be able to come back to lovely accommodations and friendly and professional staff. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to the room prep staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Thank you all for a your part in our special weekend. Bravo!

Had a nice location for views, though you couldn't walk to any stores, but you don't really need it. It sat right next to a river which made fun for beachcombers and runners alike. The rooms were very modern, which I like, but others may not. In terms of service, there are like 3 restaurants in the facility and also a gift shop. If you want, you can order food that will get delivered to your room, but I prefer the actual restaurant. The outdoor pool seemed nice, but it was too good when we came to take a dip. Overall, a very nice facility, and worth the money, especially if staying more than one night!

We attended a wedding in the grand ballroom and stayed the night. The ballroom is quite large and was beautifully decorated (though I imagine this was done by a professional decorator and not the hotel) . The meal provided however was prepared by the Delta staff and was amazing. All the food tasted fresh and the deserts were very well done. As for the room it was clean and quiet and all you would expect from the Delta chain by Marriott.

Great.

We are here with a tour group. Saw the price on Google and I can't believe this place is cheaper than the horrible Quality Inn Dorval (Montreal) we stayed last night! Comparing to that garbage dump Quality Inn, this place is like heaven!

The room was nice, and had practical touches like coat hooks by the door. The staff at front desk are excellent, especially Shad. The lounge has great service and food as well. Location along the waterfront is great for walking.

From start to finish, an absolute excellent stay. I stayed here for 5 nights while moving into a new home, and the Delta has been wonderful even with last minute extensions. I was very impressed that when I got into my gorgeous room that the TV greeted me by name. I had a great view, the room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion supplied is so wonderful I want to buy a couple gallons. Even the bar of soap was finally something I don't cringe at. Room service is quick but of excellent quality and you are greeted by name. The pools are clean and a great temperature, and the fitness room is perfect for getting a workout in. I will most definitely be back for weekend getaways and recommend this hotel to all friends and family.

Perfectly acceptable overnight stop on a touring holiday. Clean room and public areas, friendly staff and a lovely terrace dinning area overlooking the St John river. We dined in both the bar and on the terrace and were not disappointed with the food. Our main problem was the distance from the city centre. A 25-30 minute walk along a footpath with some not very nice areas. Definitely not a walk I would undertake after dark.

Good restaurants, although slightly expensive. Varied cuisine, one Chinese, one mostly seafood. Both have a decent selection of American/Canadian food as well. Staff were friendly, and service was good.

What a beautiful hotel located right next to the Saint John River. While staying here in the summer months you have to take in the beautiful scenery outside by enjoying a meal at the the Dip which is located to the rear of the hotel outside next to the pool. Food was amazing and service was top notch. The rooms are nice and beds were very comfortable. On site there is a gift shop and hair salon. The hotel hosts various other activities through out the year, while we stayed there their was a beer tasting event. Would stay here again, but pricey but well worth it.

I was visiting a guest at the Delta and the hotel looks fabulous. Very chic and updated, from the lobby to the rooms. I was very impressed with how it looks and the one employee I did interact with was friendly.

The Delta has a beautiful riverside location. Riverview rooms and a sprawling patio and lawn take full advantage of it! The Delta is an excellent venue for meetings and special events, and the sales team is a pleasure to work with. Make sure you visit DJ Purdy's for a drink and enjoy a meal in any one of the three facilities on-site. Poolside margaritas are great in the summer, and the neighboring Diplomat restaurant is a great spot for Chinese food or breakfast 24/7.

We went to a work social brunch in a reserved room. The room was well lit, clean and was a very appealing atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food for the brunch buffet was just as delicious as last year's brunch at the same place.

The location of this hotel is awesome. It's right on the water. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. The best part of this hotel is the dining. The breakfast option in the morning is amazing but the lounge bar is even better. The music isnt loud so you can have a conversation but it still has TV and nice seating. The food is also very good. I'd definitely come here again.

Attending the charity event was amazing. well presented, staff was extremely helpful and everything was wonderful . The inside if the hotel was amazing. However, getting into the hotel was another story. The parking lot was atrocious. There had been a snow storm the previous day and had ended before noon, but at six o'clock the next evening the parking lot was not properly plowed. My other half is in a wheel chair, and with snow in all the parking spots we couldn't park near the hotel we parked in their overflow lot and had to push the wheel chair over the longer distance to the main doors. At the main entrance of the hotel we encountered another issue, the handicap doors were not working. This almost ruined a great evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our event until we had to get back to our vehicle. I was very disappointed with the outside maintenance and lack of care in handicap issues being ignored

Great hotel, beautiful grounds, friendly staff!! The lounge was small, but had nice snacks in the evening on weekdays. Room is very clean and the beds are fantastic. The doors are not the most sound proof, but better then many. There are many outlets for charging your devices. The bar staff was very friendly and made delightful drinks for us.

Very good hotel on the banks of the St. John river. A beautiful terrace to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. The food is good and reasonably priced. A bit of a walk from the centre of town.
