Delano Hotel Review

Stayed at Delano. Overall, good experience, but at the end felt like they trying to take advantage of you anyway they can. Got charged after checkout for taking 3 items of the mini bar ,looking at the labels at putting them back right away. Emailed them but never heard back. Nobody told us we not supposed to touch anything without paying for it, otherwise we would not put them back but use it instead.

Neat, classy and just an hotel... WLkink distance from Mandalay Bay and MGM. King suite is amazing to get work done

We love visiting the Delano. We stay every year sometimes twice a year. Best Hotel on the strip!

I highly recommend the Stay Well suites. Huge deep soaking bathtub, wall mounted air purifier and I liked the memory foam mattress. A five star experience.

Delano pronounced like FDR. Is the sister adjoining all suite property of Mandalay Bay. Great rooms. Awesome service. Would stay again.

Suite was wonderful. Views where great, sad I couldn't stay longer. Bell boy service was free and speedy. Very happy I decided to stay.

Attended a conference at Mandalay and had some meetings and cocktails at Delano. Beautiful property and the suites are fantastic.

Hotel is just ok. Maid staff are great but can't say so much about front desk.
Shower in room had very low flow water, no pressure. Bathroom sink was clogged. Room was clean

A classy all-suite resort located at the south end of the Vegas strip: this hotel is ideal for travelers who need to get away from the flashy lights, and wind down for a while.

I used to love this hotel. Got married here 9 years ago and come back every year. Each time it s worse. I purchased a Scenic View Suite. I am currently here for a conference. Everyone else is staying at another hotel, but I chose to stay here because of the sentiment. Never again. Booked and pre-paid half of the rate for a Scenic Suite. Nothing but rye run around at check in. First my suite wasn t ready. Then housekeeping was going up right away to clean it. Then there was allegedly someone else in the room with a late check out. Then they tried to move us to the 7th floor instead of the 32nd floor. Not sure how you call that a scenic suite. Then they told us to fine back in 20 minutes and they might have another room available. Came back and then they told us they removed us from our original booked room (without our permission) and can only acgkmodatd us on the 12th floor. Asked to speak to the manager and he or she refused to come out of the lobby. If you want horrible customer service come here. I ll be staying elsewhere. This place is nothing like it was when it was The Hotel.

Very nice hotel all suites nice view of the Las Vegas strip. Takes pets walking distance to food gambling and lots of fun.

Nice place for a quiet drink. Three drinks totaled $60.

This is our third stay at the Delano and we keep coming back because we love everything about the hotel. The rooms are finely appointed and they are large enough to bring our kids as well. The access to a private pool as well as Mandalay Bay's pool complex is one of the best things about the hotel. The casino at Mandalay Bay is close enough but the separation makes Delano that much better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Some of the most disrespectful management and concierge I have ever Encountered as a LGBTQ community member as one of there staff made it a point to misgender me and humiliate me this coming from someone that has spent over 20K cash into their casino the front concierge manager hung up on me as I tried o correct her of proper pronouns this is not ok behavior for your staff to treat any individual I moved my room reservation to the Sahara due this incident to a hotel and casino that has an educated staff that treats there LGBT community with safety and respect. I come to Vegas at a minimum 6 times a year for conferences and I am appalled that I had to move my reservations and had to be humiliated in front of my colleagues.

Doesn't smell of smoke and the rooms are extremely nice. No issues so far.

Been to a couple of concerts here at the event center and so far the acoustics in the event center is terrible on both occasions. The bass on both events were set so high that the vocals get muffled to a point where it sounds like a teacher in the peanuts cartoon. I really wish they would improve the overall sound system. For the monies spent I anticipated a professional venue for a music concert, rather found myself covering my ears trying to avoid the excruciating sound. Just a note my recent experience was the SIA concert. For conferences this place is pretty good.

Zowie all rooms are suites. Modern & luxurious... Prefect to decompose from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas

Nice staff, early check-in I requested wasn't noted on the account and it was a pain to get it figured out. Over-all I was happy with my stay, nice, clean room. 7th floor had an awful view though. I'd go higher, next time, 10th floor at least.

Clean, comfortable rooms with a good amount of space for two couples to share. Convenient location right next to Mandalay bay felt just as "on strip" as staying in a casino.

This was my honeymoon and the Delano was the absolute worst. I m pregnant and the first room reaked of weed. I called the front desk they said they would send someone up and never did. I waited by the elevator for 20 minutes and finally went down stairs and they said they knew nothing about it. Our friends sent us a bottle of sparkling apple cider and turned around to charge us 22 dollars for a bottle opener. On our final stay the room had a gas leak. The manager never did anything about us other than say I m sorry. Worst customer experience I ve ever had. Don t waste your money on this place. We are m life gold members and they treat us like we are low class.

Rooms at the Delano are some of the most beautiful and spacious rooms in Vegas. I love that each suite comes wish 1 and a half bedrooms making it perfect when sharing rooms with multiple people. The service is great and the beds are extremely comfortable.

Recently visited this casino to have dinner at Rivea. There really isn t any gambling at this resort it s more flashy. But if gambling is what your looking for then you have to walk about 500 yards to neighboring casino Mandalay Bay.

Location is towards the end of the hotels but overall pretty good. This place excels in the quality of rooms. We have the scenic suite that is gorgeous. Service is prompt and courteous as well.

The hotel was lovely. Staff was very nice. Here is where they lost us as frequent visitors.
This hotel got booked for us by the director of guest relations of MGM International, as a result of an absolutely terrible stay at MGM Detroit. The director was extremely kind, communicative, and accommodating.
This was my birthday visit to Vegas, so my wife communicated two absolute things that we wanted. 1) Clean, quiet, modern property 2) Nice pool, hot tub access.
When we checked in, the staff was very nice and wished me a Happy Birthday!
We went to the room, changed, and went to the pool to relax. When we arrived, we found a sign that the pool complex was closed for a private event for the Las Vegas Raiders.
We asked if there were any other properties under the MGM umbrella we could visit as an alternative. "No".
They did offer a $100 dining credit for the inconvenience. It is clear to me that any time a guest complains about an issue with MGM, the solution is to throw free things at them until the guest forgets the shortfalls.
(It happened in Detroit too)
Rather than work to eliminate issues, they simply wave some money in your face.
If Delano were not an MGM property, I would have given it four stars....
I doubt that I will ever stay at one of their properties again.

Great hotel. There is a very short walk from the parking garage to Delano, but if you miss the small signs, you will walk instead into the Mandalay Bay and walk far out of your way to get to the correct place.

I stayed at the Delano using the American Express Fine Resorts Program. I loved the perks and amenities that come with the program and found the hotel to be a great place to stay. I appreciated that they elevator made you use a key card to access the floor you were staying on, and that the rooms had electronic buttons for do not disturb, housekeeping, and even a door bell. The rooms were crisp white and very clean. Our room overlooked the future raiders stadium construction. The hotel was so quiet for being in Vegas, I got a full night's sleep with no problem, even when my room was the closest to the elevator! I would most certainly stay here again.

Nice hotel but the keys got messed up a bunch and we couldn't get more because only one person had their name on the room and we had guys getting locked out.. it sucked

Just ok. Had to pay for mini fridge. They ran out of extra blankets. Bed was comfy. Excellent view.

Graet location, and friedly staff. The room is great but as i unpacked i found trash from previous guest.

Beautiful hotel on the south end of the strip. Lobby is GORG. Rooms arent terribly expensive for how nice they are

Very clean. Lobby smells amaaazing. I appreciated the random motivational quotes they write on the lobby mirrors daily.

The room is spacious and nice however I don't like that we can't use the mini fridge without paying $50 a day.

Mandalay Bay Convention Center - an amazing place for a conference and it can accommodate over a thousand attendees. Easy to get to, clean venue, friendly staff, valet parking available.

I have stayed at the Delano multiple times because it is an excellent choice of stay. It's close to the convention center, the rooms are amazing, and the atmosphere is awesome.

The hotel is great but location isn t so good. Everything here is about 50% more expensive than Center strip , it takes 10 minutes to walk to the tram to go to Excalibur and from there it s another 10 min walk to mgm grand

Amazing place to Saturday at in Vegas. Super clean and very friendly staff.

All rooms are suites and have a living room in the bedroom. Modern interior decoration, guest room is very clean and is comfortable. You can also use the large swimming pool at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The price is also reasonable considering that it is a 5 star hotel. Instead of looking at the windows, the view of the roofs of the buildings surrounding the hotel is not much to show.
The location is at the end of the strip, so even if you take a free tram to Excalibur, it is not easy to walk to the center, but if you consider the price of the room,

Love this place. Attached/connected to the Mandalay Bay...this GEM of a spot is the All-Suite property that *Has No Casino* in it, has the quicker and easier valet & Uber/Lyft access and service...and if you are coming to see the AMAZING show: MJ One by Cirque Du Soleil @ Mandalay Bay...it Much Easier/Closer to get to from the Delano than from anywhere else (Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons parking requires a LONG WALK...Delano, maybe 125 feet from the Delano s valet/ride-share entrance!!

Complimentary upgrade, great service, and slightly aside from the normal Casino hotel chaos.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It met all expectations and more. The views are amazing, staff was wonderful and the ambiance is stunning. I highly recommend staying here!
