Delano Hotel Review

Had some meetings in the boardroom on 3. Hotel is nicely appointed.

Absolutely the best hotel I have stayed at ! Class act all around! The pool is awesome and the servers are the best. Kelsey at the pool went above and beyond! I even love the smell when you walk into the lobby. Thank you for my awesome vaca!

Really great hotel, with a great beach and pool area. Tons to do and well connected with a tram to other mgm hotels. The rooms were also great, I enjoyed my stay. Only thing is that my 4 night "complimentary" stay came out to be $339 because of all the resort fees, charges, and taxes.

Went here because one of my friends ended up staying here with his mom. It was a very pretty hotel.

Usually I like to complete my expierence somewhere before leaving a review. I'm not even through my first night at The Delano, and I have been blown away. The staff is amazingly helpful, the room is beautiful, and the restaurants have been great. I was doing some work and forgot to bring an HDMI cable to hook my laptop up to the television. The gift shop did not stock them (unsurprisingly) so I went to the front desk to see if they could point me in the right direction. Much to my surprise, I was informed that if I returned to my room, they'd find one somewhere and have it sent up to me. Less than an hour later I was provided with a brand new HDMI cable, presumably from the maintenance department. This was above and beyond service, and I couldn't be happier. If you get the opportunity to stay at this wonderful hotel, take it.

We stayed there on my Birthday Nov. 18th 2018. When we got to are room there was extra free bottles of water and fruit trays for my Birthday. Very nice and large comfortable living room, bedroom with 2 Queen size bed, 1 1/2 bathrooms and the couch made into a bed also, 3 TV. Enough room to park handicap scooter. One of my favorite places to stay. Merry Christmas come and visit Phoenix AZ.

I was upgraded to Delano and it was all suites and really nice. The room was clean and bright with 3 televisions. I prefer City center, but I would stay here again.

Very classy place. Friendly staff and ample amenities. New security measures are understandable. The whole complex is so big that it's a journey from one side to the next. Great parking and easy in and out from their location on the strip.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms, and decent restaurants. However be aware of the $50 fee to use the fridge in your room .

Rooms were awesome and spacious. Mandalay bay pool area was beautiful. Only stayed 1 night but was the highlight of my trip. Definitely stay here over Mandalay Bay. But if you cant walk long distances I dont reccomend it as it's far walk from the tram or casino to the rooms

A quiet hotel with nice modern clean rooms. The staff was really helpful. I felt like the nightly rate and resort fees were a little pricey which is why I went 4 instead of 5 stars.

Nice room with a great view. Awesome perks with a Mexican platinum. Only bummer was rusty water coming out of some of the sinks that didn't see much use

Having access to the Mandalay Bay pool was a great part of my stay at the Delano

I travel almost every week and go to many different hotels. I don t usually complain things and especially in the SNS. But, the Hotel Delano was just terrible. I know this would not even affect them anyways, but i wanted to share for the awareness.

I checked in at 4:00 pm on April 4th. Had a dinner at one of the restaurant in Mandalay Bay/Delano. Then, went back to the room. Next day when i got up at 6 am, i had a potential insect bite on my thumb, and reported to the hotel. Next day when i got up at 6 am, it just got worse and i had to skip the morning session for the meeting and just went straight to the ER because the redness was following my lymph and heading towards my shoulder.

I didnt go anywhere else. I have all videos and photos in timely manner. I know there is no way I can fight them, but i want to everybody to be safe and dont go through these problems.

Nice view from the top floor bar. The bar manager was not nice. Don't remember his name but he was arrogant and pushy

The rooms here are very spacious and clean. Check in process was quick and easy. The staff here have been very kind and courteous. Would love to stay here again.

Very nice hotel that is connected to a few other hotels. Lots of stuff to do, has everything you would need and more. Great pools and spas too.

Rooms where BEAUTIFUL service was really satisfying went dancing fun.

This is my second year in a row staying at the Delano. The service is amazing, my room is clean and the bed provides one of the best homes away from home I could ask for. My room is a panoramic suite. I will not stay anywhere else.

Great rooms/suites. Staff is very nice and pool was excellent (part of Mandalay Bay). No casino in the Delano so that's a plus! Bars are great but pricey (about $20 for a martini).

Typical Vegas higher end hotel. Not quite as nice as it use to be. But if your meeting is at the Mandalay Bay Convention center, the Delano is a shorter walk than even the Mandalay Bay Hotel

Love the suites. Quieter than Mandalay Bay but, close enough to get to everything.

Great large suites and in a modern bright design. Large bathroom. Unfortunately, the promised strip view was only a partial view and you had to press yourself completely against the window. We also had to wait longer in the room. Therefore only average overall.

Both the outside and inside of the building are elegant yet simple, a welcome break from the flashiness of the Las Vegas strip. It is easily accessible from the Mandalay Bay without going outside.

We should have never had the room that we were given. While in line at check in, there were so many miserable vapid complaints, and yet we experienced upgrades and perks beyond what we could have asked. Because, I think, we expected nothing extraordinary and were pleasant. ....Our experience during a mask ridden pandemic was exactly what we needed, but never expected. The cabana at the Delano pool (daily) also gave us shelter amd comfort, (since you don't have shows, pool was the best (distanced) bet for us), which mgm/delano discounts 20% to military, and you guys rock for that. That also solidified many of our decisions throughout mgm and our trip in general, plus we simply enjoyed our entire experience... after so many months of weirdness and stress..... We'll be back for sure. Thanks again front desk girl :)

Delano is great. Rooms are similar rooms to theHotel but just white. All the benefits of Mandalay Bay with an extra bathroom.

I stayed at the hotel when I came to see Rihanna. It was a short walk to the event center. Every seat was a good seat. Definitely would see another show here.

The Delano Hotel objectifies women. Treats them as sex objects. The pictures on the walls of the rooms, the magazines on the coffee table, even the room keys have nude and/or suggestive scantily clad women on them, as they believe this will bring them more clients/money in. I will never stay there again. The rooms are otherwise beautiful, but I will never stay there again.

This is a perfectly fine hotel (with suites). The rooms are nice and clean... But it definitely lacks a certain... Fanciness (for lack of a better word). But like I said, all in all, it's perfectly fine and the rates are usually pretty good. You can access the Mandalay pool as well as the pool that's only for Delano guests, which is the only pool we went to... And it's was perfectly fine. Kind of small, but otherwise fine. There aren't a lot of dining options in Delano itself... And I feel like a lot of them close kind of early. However, there is easy access to Mandalay restaurants (which has Stripsteak- a VERY excellent steak restaurant). Unfortunately, the Shoppes at Mandalay leave something to be desired. I wish they had some better stores personally. But I feel like one of the biggest downsides to Delano is that it's far away from everything. There isn't even a CVS or Walgreens near it. The closest hotels are Luxor and Excalibur... And those are not my favorite hotels at all. For it's good rates, I would consider staying here like, one night... But there just isn't enough (for me) to do to here to want to stay any longer than that.
