Not very impressed. Went for my parents 50th wedding Anniversary. They messed up all the bookings and tgen said they couldn't fix them. Bayshore rooms were old and in bad condition. Staff was not very helpful. They cancelled our dinner reservation 1hr before it was scheduled to happen leaving us scrambling to find something else for 12 people on a Saturday night. Buffet breakfast at eclipse was old and overcooked. I will not go back.

Nice surroundings. Loads of activities. Kayak rental could open a bit earlier. Decent bar. Friendly front desk staff.
Access for disabled guests to some of the buildings was obstructed due to restoration. Apartments and the main hotel building is a bit worn out. Furniture is outdated and needs to be upgraded in both the apartments and in the common areas of the hotel. Breakfast buffet has a limited offer of foods.

We went to the pool. It was a disgusting mess in the change rooms. One of the toilet stalls had an out of order sign and the other had a broken lock. The floor drain was full of slimy mould and it wreaked! One of the shower doors was hanging by a hinge. There were wet towels all over the floors and benches. Kids ranging from young teen to younger were running all over. In and out of the change rooms and around the pool area. Jumping into the pool without looking and running all around the perimeter of the pool. A bunch of them were wrestling while having others on their shoulders. One shoved another and landed on my 4 year old granddaughter and she went under the water and hurt her head, neck and shoulders. Don't even get me started on the hot tub and infant pool areas! We were there for about an hour and a half and not once did any staff come to assess the area. And if they had then maybe some parents would have been contacted. I'm very disappointed at how our visit went.

Poorly trained staff. Must common answer to any question is I don t know I went to the activity desk to ask if they are having a camp fire the night we arrived. The person told me probably but like they don t always do it so I don t know for sure there are ads everywhere for ATV rentals but none of the staff can help with it and when you call the number nobody answers or returns messsges. We sat outside at the compass restaurant and asked for espresso, they told us the machine was broken. When our server left, another server brought a tray of capucchino s and espressos to the people next to us, he said sorry for the delay on the espresso. Nothing really interesting to do at this resort, everything is either not working, not happening today, or other silly stories. More interesting activities like the ATV tours seem impossible to organize. We won t return, it was a waste of a weekend.

The resort was good but they allow dogs so we had a barking dog next door from 7pm to 9pm. Food was OK but pricy and we had to ask for cutlery and napkins at the restaurant 2 days in a row.

Amazing stay over the weekend! The trees were magnificent with changing colours! The Deerhurst Resort is taking COVID precautions very seriously and our family of 5 felt very safe while enjoying the amazing amenities including great cuisine in the Eclipse Restaurant & Terrace Patio. We started with assortment of appetizers...
For main courses we selected: Grilled AAA Center Cut 10oz NY Steak - Jump fried Ontario oak log grown shiitake mushrooms, foie gras reduction, White stripe Rack of Lamb Duo - Braised sirloin and pan roasted herb crusted chop; *SPECIAL* Off the Grill 21 oz Bone-In AAA Ribeye Cowboy Steak, shared by two and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Garden vegetables of mushrooms, zucchini, tomato, roasted cauliflower, Brussel sprout leaves, goat cheese crumble, roasted pumpkin seeds, freshly ground herb pesto. Professionally served by Chris and John D.
Staff members were wearing masks and the levels of service and cleanliness are exceptional and they go above and beyond, which made our visit that much more enjoyable. The accommodation was exceptional and spotless- we had a mini suite. Also, we were impressed by the contactless curbside check-in experience. Special thank you to the general manager, Mr. Jesse Hamilton for organizing this special weekend with the family, who have cottage near by. With kind regards and Skal: Frank and Sonia

Do not play this golf course as you will be most disappointed. The greens were in terrible shape, the course design is poor, and members were rude! Save your money or drive a little further to go to a course that cares about it's guests.

The is located in Muskoka on a beautiful large lot that is well-maintained. The site offered swimming rock climbing a small arcade two different restaurants and lots of varieties for room. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of using this facility as a place to have a manager's retreat!

This is the best resort in the area in my opinion. Wonderful rooms, great restaurant, amazing bar! Worth every penny. Remember to book well ahead of time or you may not be able to reserve your desired room in the summer period.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in early February and had a wonderful time. I got some great cross country skiing in at Arrowhead while my wife enjoyed the spa. There is a very nice little walking/snowshoeing trail at the resort that is lit up at night. We had a blast playing in the arcade! Food/rooms were good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Seemed like a great place to bring kids as there were lots of activities - pool, rock climbing wall, ski hill nearby just to name a few. Will definitely be back!

I only went for the brunch and I wasn't the one paying. The food was great; a good selection and assortment of various foods. A lot of drink options and various finer meats. A nice location with a view over the golf course.

Amazing Weekend with friends and family love everything about the resort just the fact that the homes are away from the main center makes it hard to go back and forth specially when it's really cold

Loved this resort. We stayed in one of the suites away from the main building. It was like a home away from home. The beach was great, as were the outdoor pools. Restaurants at resort are ok, but very expensive. Huntsville is only a short drive down the highway and has lots of restaurants and shops. Can't wait to go back.

We were attending a wedding for the weekend. We loved the resort. The staff were wonderful. The food was fantastic. The rooms were nice, but they were average. Good amenities though, like a keurig coffee maker. Very small fridge. But we really enjoyed our stay

Ok resort. Facility is a bit out of date with very spread-out facilities. It takes a 10 minute walk to go from the reception to the small south beach. Parts near the beach are under construction for new townhouses?

Food was only passable. Steak tasted like rubber.

Came here for the first time a few months ago to take my gf to the spa (after staying the night at the JW Marriott). Massages were not that great but they were very friendly. The restaurant was very over priced for being a pub and we wanted to go to the pool on the way out but it was full of screaming children. Maybe they should consider a separate adult area for the pool/spa guests as that would increase the overall experience.

Had dinner at Antlers Restaurant. I thought the food was very good, nice ambiance and nice live music. If you want to hear the live music you should request a table in the same area where the musician is playing as the sound does not carry into other dining areas at the restaurant.

Beautiful cottage country destination.
Rooms are nice and reasonably well maintained.
Great outdoor activities including golf, tennis, basketball, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc.
Food was okay, decent buffet.

Facilities are amazing. Well organized activities and lots to choose from for both individuals and families with toddlers. Played golf today with a buddy and pretty much had the whole course to ourselves after a 4pm tee-off. Lots to do and deserves a two-night stay at minimum. Extremely pricey though.

Mixed experiences during our stay. Some things were great, some not so much. Came here with my husband for a night away. Arrived at 11 because we had massages booked and were put on priority early check in. Massages were good but paid for a 25 min massage and my masseuse got me in late and didn't extend our time, so my massage was maybe 15 minutes. We didn't get our room until 2:30( no problem) but our room was not at all what we were expecting for 400 a night. It was extremely dated, basic and had stains everywhere. It felt dirty. We called to see if we could get switched to another room and thankfully they were able to move us. But we did have to wait 2 hours until another room became available. Pool and hot tub were good, no line up to rent sup boards because it was freezing so that was good. Fireworks and ski show were good. Overall a decent experience but very expensive. I know this is muskoka but you can rent a cottage for a week for the price of two nights in our motel style room

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Deerhurst. We stayed in the Pavillion building.
Upon reading the other reviews, I was a bit nervous about the comfort of the beds, which we were pleasantly impressed by them. I don't know what other guests were expecting, as they were super comfortable and the room was clean and was ready on time. The front staff were all friendly and professional. After our cross country ski in Arrowhead, we used the hot tub, and it was clean. I would book again at Deerhurst

Relaxing, friendly staff. Went on a company trip and they were very helpful. Very large difference between some of the buildings, though. Where one might look like a standard hotel room another might looks like a spent house suite.

This place is defiantly for young children and families. Lots to do but I went with my 12 year old and not much to do for us and we had to go to a local provincial park to do ice skating along a path in the woods. The rooms were very nice and good beds and pillows. Food was excellent but there is no in room service and no vending machines so if you need a snack at night forget about it. The rooms were noisy and could hear everything above and the maid service was terrible and received cleaning between 5-6:30pm. The resort grounds are beautiful.

What a hole this place is. Maybe it was the place to go in the 90 s, but wow has it gone downhill. Rooms are gross and the food is terrible. Front desk staff was nice. That s about it. So all in all, nice hard working staff but Skyline Resorts just care about making money. Wouldn t go back if you gave it to me free.

I was excited to come here but was very disappointed with the room, quality and service. I hurt my ankle and wanted to order room service, but there is no information in the room e.g. Menus, activities etc. the washroom had one bar of soap, no shower cap, lotion or other little details most such places provide. The fitted sheets don't cover the mattresses so they sides of the mattresses were exposed. I have to kill several silverfish bugs on the bathroom floor etc. The buffet was very disappointing due to stale eggs Benedict and cold meat. This awful breakfast was almost $70 and we could barely eat anything. Half the games did not work in the arcade. The only special part is a view of the lake. This place is not what it used to and is too expensive for what you get.

Room was excellent and they offered us an upgrade since it was my birthday. I wish they had more activities for couples and room service in the Pavillion rooms. I will definately visit again.
