One of the most famous cocktail bar in the world, maybe I got there not on the best day

Try the punsch or the grog! Also had one of the best corned beef sandwiches ever...

LOVE THIS PLACE! The chicken pot pie is amazing. And they make shepard's pie with LAMB like you're supposed to.

This is easily the best pub in NYC and by some the best in the country. You wont find TV's in this pub, just homeland pictures covering the ceilings and walls. They have a great set of regulars that are very friendly. They also have the best Guinness in the city hands down. The mixed drinks are very creative and very good.

I recommend the Irish Coffee, the Guinness, and the Whiskey Punch.

If you are ever in the area you have to make it a point to visit.

The Dead Rabbit is one of our favorite places in Lower Manhattan! If you're of age and in the mood for one of the best cocktails in the city, you're in the right place. Their bartenders are highly skilled mixologists who will create a drink from scratch based on your preferences.

Beyond the fancy cocktails, the food is outstanding. We've never had a bad dish. Try to make it up to the second or third level for imaginative spaces with even more imaginative cocktails.

Cocktails: Awesome flavor, originality but really expensive for the small size, around a small wine glass.
Anyway personal made it a great experience, and music was ideal.

I would come here just for the cocktails alone. The food was great- not my exact favorite genre, but excellent for its type and class! The service was impeccable.

The place is just amazing and full of history. We ordered the Irish Coffee which was perfect! (could big a little bigger though ;-)
The waiter was very helpful and nice. We found the price fair.

Ordered Ham and Cheese Toastie as a safety food for lunch...had no idea it would be the best grilled ham and cheese I've ever had! Mustard topped it off perfectly. And Brooke was a lovely, friendly barkeep who made me feel very welcome. I can certainly recommend this place for lunch!

Awarded the best bar in the world (not sure by whom but they may well be right!) The place was brimming with people. Had to wait for about 70 minutes before we had a table to sit and eat. You can wait in the bar area but be ready to jostle with many more people waiting. They have amazing cocktails to choose from. Don't fill yourself up because upstairs dining area has even more options. Food is amazing. Try their pork belly mini burgers. Overall a great experience. Nice crowd.

Incredible cocktails, great small plate foods. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well, makes you think of an old timey Speak Easy. Second floor is the winner of the three, if you can make it...it's worth the wait.

Great drinks, I wish I had a place like this at home!

I loved this place. I visited with my partner after a tour of the statue of liberty. I knew it was in this area as it was in a must go to bar in a guide book we brought before we travelled. It's a small friendly place with lots of interesting photos and other memorabilia. Good selection of beers and the coffee was really good. Food was great, we both had a burger and it was one of the best we had. I would have liked to return to try other items on the menu. If you are in the area, drop into this place, you will not be disappointed!

the coctails were good but too expensive very little place

Tight space that creates a warm intimate environment compared to the modern construct of what lays outside. Drinking delicious cocktails produced by attentive, fun, knowledgable staff whilst eating hearty, yet classy pub cuisine makes time fly. As they say time flys when you are having fun. We had to drag ourselves out of this establishment. Highly recommend. Get there as early as possible so not wait in line.

This is not only the new scene for the world but for the globe. Any cocktail lounge connoisseur should visit this place as it won best new bar in the world, most creative cocktail menu in the world, and international bartender of the year from the sundance of cocktail competitions- tales of the cocktail. I first started in the taproom where they have only drinks from the early 1900's with the exception of newer beers and was there for their "free lunch" fried oysters. Then we moved up to the parlour where we sat at the bar with the mixologist. I have to say you get great service here. They know how to seat people and you at most will wait 3 minutes for a drink. Besides the service they have a leather bound book that probably has over 50 cocktails in it and new york's largest whiskey selection.

Very nice, on the ground sawdust and at the counter or sitting at the table are served excellent beers! Sandwiches are also good. Friendly place!

Drinks and cocktails all really good. Bartenders also very quick, kind, attentive, and responsive.

Shared a burger with my wife and had a mixed drink and a beer. Our server was Brooke, who was incredible and generous! They split our food on different plates for us without us even asking and made sure we tried an Irish coffee on the house before we left. The best bar I ve visited in New York by a large margin.

A must-visit if you are in Lower Manhattan. An unassuming exterior and feel, but their attention to small detail is impeccable. Dead Rabbit even sprinkles pine shavings onto the floor, reminiscient of bedding in an animal cage. The menu is written with cheeky sarcasm but does not skimp on educational tidbits. Fare and cocktails primarily have an Irish base with modern influence. The sweet potato gnocchi with mushrooms is so delectable with its butter sauce, and the bread pudding is evenly textured with toppings of fresh fruit and ice cream. The building has three levels - the basement bar, the cocktail bar, and the restaurant level (but fare is served on all three). Omar the doorman is sweet and helpful and the staff really care about each other, it's evident. Fantastic experience on all levels - do yourself a favor and visit Dead Rabbit.

A unique Irish style pub and menu in NYC. I felt like I was in a pub in the UK catching up with old friends. Definitely a great experience in the big city. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to try something different from your typical city bar.

This bar got better when i ordered off menu. I prefer more bitter, herbal cocktails. The bartender knew exactly what i was talking about and delivered.

This place is so cool.
First floor is a tap room. If you just want to down beer and chill with your buds and have. OR - second floor parlor serving small bites and outstanding crafted cocktails.
It has a very different feel to it, you don't get that anywhere else. 5 stars for everything.

Cool location in Lower Manhattan with plenty of beer and drinks, prices are relatively expensive but normal for NYC. Friendly service and bar with cult status.

Small, on several levels, characteristic. Few dishes but delicious. Excellent service. Sin is not suitable for disabled people in wheelchairs.

Amazing cocktails. The tough part is trying to make a decision out of the book, or just letting the bartenders create something for you.
There's also a fantastic oyster happy hour, get there early to take full advantage.

Real shepherds pie; lamb and not beef. And awesome rum punch. The short rib sliders are very good if you want something smaller.

I think this place is known for their drinks. The menu is a bit pricey but I think for their drinks, it's worth it. Especially because that's what they're known for. For that, I give them a 4 because their food is very mediocre. Nothing special.

Vintage Irish bar with history. Amazing bartenders that deliver one of the best cocktails in the city. A must visit for tourists. Food is delicious and drinks are top notch. Very friendly staff. No doubt they are the best bar in the world!!

I eat dinner here 2 - 3 times a week whenever I'm in the Financial District on business. You've got to get there before 5:00pm if you want to sit downstairs. The staff are the greatest around and are always courteous and friendly; the food is incredible, I'm partial to the pork belly sliders and the braised rabbit. The Irish Whiskey varieties are abundant, as is the Scotch. This is a must visit place if you are in the area.

Great beer. Try the Weihenstephaner. You will not be disappointed.

A genuine Irish pub (not just an Irish name). The full Irish breakfast is delicious. Some may complain over there lack of baked beans but I am anti bean. Real bacon - ten on ten. Black pudding, snap. That was the best full English I've had since Gary Wilmot's wedding.

Came in here for lunch with my team to welcome our new colleague. We went upstairs to the Parlor. I had the Chicken Pot Pie which looked and felt homemade with love. The crust was perfect. I would have liked some sauce in the pot pie. The hearty mixture was good but a saucy mix would have pushed it to the top. It was paired with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy but that felt unnecessary since the pot pie had cubed potatoes in it. They can definitely serve the pot pie solo, center of the plate! I went during lunch so I can't speak on the drinks. At the end of our meal it took a little time to find our server to get our check but otherwise it was quite enjoyable.

Overall, the location was clean, servers were courteous, food was delicious and filling.

Honestly a fire hazard it s so overcrowded. And the staff is nothing but subpar.

Phenomenal selection of whiskeys. Great ambiance. Nice cocktails (I m told as I just drink straight whiskey). Manages to be cool and upscale while still maintaining the comfortable laid-back vibe of a local Irish bar.

Very cosy. Loved this place; we had a lunch upstairs (me and my mum). Loved the ambiance, very friendly folks. Arrive early or you ll be queueing.

Went there on a Friday night and definitely a popular spot in the area! Pretty busy and cramped downstairs just like any pub at happy hour but once you get upstairs, it is an entire other story. Would absolutely recommend getting a table to really experience the Dead Rabbit. Fantastic service! Just going through the menu was an experience in itself with its graphic novel theme and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we had questions about their unique drinks. After we received our drinks and food, the waitress realized they needed our table and moved us to another which was no problem at all but then after it made our visit truly memorable. We were put, in my opinion, a better table and the service was very apologetic(even though it was no inconvenience to us). They gave us a round of their amazing Irish Coffees and some delicious bread pudding! Can not over state the service that we received and made me feel like I was back in Ireland. Can't wait to go again and try some more of their unique drink concoctions! Thank you for an awesome night Dead Rabbit!

Near zero zone. To go to eat after catching the Statue of Liberty ferry. EXCELLENT roast beeg sandwich. Hamburger, great. To have a good shot of Guinness. The cramble dessert, delicious. To repeat as many times as possible. Half price.

Unbelievable New York City Bar and Cocktail Experience. The Grocery and Grog bar downstairs serves up great cocktails and awesome food. True NY experience and worth the wait to find a place to sit or stand.

The BEST bar experience! A couple work of mine talk up a storm about this place and my first time happens to be on the most busiest day EVER for a Bar. ST. PATRICK'S DAY weekend!!

Surprisingly busy bar; even for a Monday evening. The food was pretty good, but the stand out is definitely the unique drinks. I'd definitely go back in the near future. There is a wait to go upstairs. But it's completely worth it.

This place has a great atmosphere, and great Real McCoy Irish Food. You must go and thy their Iris beers.

Good atmosphere, has a dark and seedy vibe upstairs but is underlaid by a higher end service, menu, and drink list. Great place to spend an evening.

I've had many Irish breakfasts in my time, this is the best. I love the big wedges of black and white pudding. Cocktails are also incredible, this is a must place to visit
