Only ever played golf here, which is a great course.

Very nice...lovely grounds. Nice spa experience. However had to wait over I hour for our dinner.

Gorgeous location and fabulous venue for the wedding I attended

Very good as a wedding venue cosy and adequate parking easy to find.

Beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and facilities. Food and drinks were fantastic and great staff. Will definitely stay again.

Had a lovely dinner last Saturday evening. Starters of Chicken Liver Parfait & Cep Risotto. Mains Pork & Chicken followed by Vanilla Brulee & Raspberry Cheesecake. Faultless.

Nice hotel which had a mix of people on business conferences and here to play golf or enjoy the spa when I stayed which gave a good atmosphere.

Room reasonably modern although the shower is in the bath and the water wasn t particularly warm.

Comfortable bed and good breakfast.

Massively disappointing.

Recommended by work colleagues in the area, and I literally only stayed here because of the spa. I found the spa has been closed for the past few months, yet it is still on google with spa facilities listed.

Restaurant staff didn t know much about the food when asked about it, but what I got was pretty good. The room was pretty decent too.

Unfriendly, miserable and extremely unhelpful staff- especially in the champagne bar- the customer service was terrible - the waiter didn t even speak to me. I paid a lot for a Spa day and we were not made to feel welcome at all- i had to go to the other end of the hotel just to get a coffee and told I could walk back through the whole hotel to the Spa with my coffee!!!!
In addition our treatments were too far apart of which I mentioned to the Spa manager and told there was nothing they could do!!
This Spa and hotel are really not worth visiting- don t book a spa day unless you are happy to waste your money.

Not great for a work stay - everything very leisurely- good breakfast but only opens at 0700!

Attended a wedding at Mottram Hall the food was lush the service very good. Our room was really comfortable and clean. Lovely wedding and venue!!!

The electric and water went off for hours and it was 32 degrees. Not the staffs fault but there wasn t much of an apology and they cancelled our expensive meal at the grill to put us in the golf clubhouse where the food was very More

Nice place, the drive up really needs some tlc as it takes away from frost impressions. The reception is a little underwhelming as well but the rooms and the outside is quite nice.

For the price the rooms didn t really meet expectations. They were good but not great. Bathrooms a bit dated. I asked for my beds to be joined as I was given two singles, reception said no as it was in the booking (computer says no) so I just did it myself - took 2mins. Great that it has gym and pool - wish they opened earlier and later though. Prices in restaurant and bar very high, equivalent to London prices. Outside gardens beautiful, ample parking.

Great place. The gym is small but well equipped. The two outside saunas are much better than ordinary saunas. They are cooler and more comfortable. There is also an ordinary sauna, two jacuzzi's, a steam room and a swimming pool with seating around it. The whole place is very clean and there is plenty of free parking. I'm not interested in Golf but the course is very popular. The only thing I don't like is the swimming pool should be deeper. It is only waist deep.

The course is crisp with horse hooves marks and go see crop on the front 9. Sorry never again.

Hi. I attended today, 16th Aug 2013, with Hesketh Artisans Golf Club and found the experience first class. The food and hospitality were exceptional and the days golf was great. The pro staff in the caddy shop were extremely helpful and the bar and food service staff polite and courtious. Would recommend the venue to anyone be it golfers of visitors alike. Looking forward to next year. Rob Dunn

Food was OK, staff OK in the hall, unfortunately the young member of staff in the golf staff was less than helpful.

This by far has been the worst stay I have EVER had in ANY hotel of ANY stars. WOW. My issue isn't so much with the staff as the girls at reception were lovely. Its the hotel. During my stay I had infestations of lady birds and wasps in my bathroom and actual room...god forbid. I had then asked to switch rooms which I did to the exact same issue in their "premium room"...it was disgusting, it really was. I was unable to use my bathroom on the last two days and had to shower in a different bathroom and use the general toilets to brush my teeth. Then at 10:45pm, I wanted to order room service which I had. Only to find out 40 MINUTES LATER that they will not be supplying any room service due to prepping for breakfast tomorrow? What the hell. God bless you Mottram Hall but I am scarred and cannot WAIT to go home.

Really nice place with very friendly staff. Room soundproofing could be improved however as I could hear everything in adjacent rooms which was a shame

A lot of noise at night. Not as classy as expected.

Nice hotel with lovely Xmas decorations, rooms nice and staff helpful. Used a function room as part of a works do, was a little cold but otherwise good. Had a meal in evening, had soup, Rossi and tart, was nice tasting , but was disappointed with the Rossi which could have done with extra potato and/or veg, was more like a starter. Nice fresh made omelette for breakfast. Would recommend.

A nice addition to the Q Hotel group it loses a star because I booked a dine and spa break an sauna was out of order so was the In door jacuzzi... Come on guys don't offer a spa break if half the spa is out of order!
