By far the best theme park in Holland in my opinion. Absolutely amazing music, it adds so much to the ambience of all the rides and the streets you walk through in the park itself. There are not that many thrilling rides, but that isn't really what the park is about. It is much more a family park than for instance Walibi Holland or something like Six Flags. Do come with friends/family, it really is less fun on your own. Tickets can be a little expensive but every year there is a great deal with the Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn which can get you 10 off of the price of every individual ticket. Very accessible with public transport, and loads of squirrels.

Great theme park, especially great for 4-12 years old, but older kids would also find it s nice. Tips - get the early pass, totally worth it. It s just 10 Euro and you get food vouchers with it. Park (in August) wasn t too full until 11am or so.

Not as commercial as the American parks, which is a nice plus.

This is the 2nd time we are here with the kids, staying at the resort for a few days.
Efteling is a great place, and seems to improve from year to year. It is not crowded as Disneyland, but still have the magical feeling of a fantasy world. Highly recommend.

Great theme park for the whole family. Grandparents who loved the light show, and the theatre performance with horses. Our three year old had plenty of things he enjoyed as well from the steam train, indoor boat ride, 3D experience. Even though we went in December and it was cold, there were nice touches with log fires dotted around to keep people warm.

I m not a theme park enthusiast by any means, though I have now been to more than a few. Here s the thing: we came on a day of reasonable attendance, the weather was a perfect blend of slightly sunny, cloudy but not overcast. It was hard not to find something to do for 4yrs all the way to those in their late 60s. For a party of ten, there was almost no reason to be split up and we spent the say and saw the whole park, finishing with ollie bollen and the fountain show. We agreed that one day was too little and two days would be too much (of a good thing) it left us satisfied but with the hope to one day come back and do more.

The Efteling is the best theme park ever. They are definitely worth the money. You need at least 2 day to see everything if you have never been there. You have to visit this magical place at least ones in your life.

Efteling is an amusement park for different generations: you have a fairy tale part for the youngest, some attractions like slower carussels for the younger, rollercoaster and even more theme oriented shows, events and rides. I enjoyed the park with a family which comes there in 3rd generation starting from the 1950s. To them this place is much more: a memory of the past. A strong suggestion to everyone who wants to enjoy an amusement park with more than spectacular rollercoasters.

It's a very nice amusement park. It has a lot of fairy tail related things to see and some nice rides. But there's a limited amount of attractions and it increases the waiting time.
There's plenty of places to eat and if you want to bring your own food, there's also plenty of places where you can seat and eat.

Amazing family theme park with attractions for every age. The park is very big so in order to experience all of it, it is recommended to stay for 2-3 days. There s tons of great accommodations like apartments and nice houses in the woods (Bosrijk)

I have seen several of the Disney parks around the world, but the diversity of attractions, the harmony of the park itself and the legacy of Anton Piek's fantasy never ceases to please me. Being one of a kind managed to receive international distinctions several times. All well deserved.

Whimsical and wonderful fairy and adventure theme park. Plenty of rides and sights to see, however the line up to the rides take a while. Bring snacks or pack sandwiches while you wait in line (can be up to an hour!). Food options at the park are ok, well priced but plain and repetitive for a theme park. Great place to being family and friends. Would like it they had strong female characters in the fairy theme section to encourage young girls and demonstrate to young boys about women being adventurous, independent and brave.

The park is ok. A bit too much (outdated) dark rides, a few thrill rides but all are way too short. You have to walk huge distances, they could have added so much more attractions. It's more a park for kids.

Magical park for kids and great rides for little and big. Can easily be a full day or half a day as minimum. On site there are cafes. NOT vegan friendly - vegans bring your own coffee (no non dairy milk at all), food and snacks.

Every year of my life I have visited this theme park. It has never disappointed. Everything about the Efteling is perfect. From the main attractions to the cheery mood of the staff to all the amazing decorations!

It never ceases to amaze me that they were able to craft such an amazing world of hapiness!

Several visits to this theme park and although it was a bit crowded this time this didn t bother us at all. The park is great with kids and employees all over the park are really friendly and helpful. Food can be a bit expensive but you can find several options in the park. You can find rides for the whole family and most of the times the waiting times are not excessive. The park is open 365 days a year which means you can easily go on days when it s less crowded.
The entrance fee is not cheap but definitely worth it.

Awesome price-winning family thempark in nature & lush green. Good mix for adults, teens and the little ones. When you re staying in Holland longer than two weeks I really recommend going here one full day. Enough hotels nearby (Tilburg) or transportation to get here. Enjoy!

Amazing theme park! Really clean, super helpful staff who speak at least 2 languages (Either Dutch and English, or Dutch and German). All rides are very nicely themed and worked out. All rides seem very safe and well maintained. The food is priced at an okay price for a theme park and it's all very tasty!

Efteling is a Dutch theme park. Having been to Disney parks in the US, we definitely liked Efteling better. Less merchandising. Higher quality food. Smaller crowds. Catch the Caro show (amazing and thoughtful!) and definitely reserve dinner. Accessible from Amsterdam.

Mice place to go whether you are young or old. Our 10 year old daughter had a blast. Some good roller coasters that we both love to ride. Food is typical of amusement parl food but actually better. If you arw here in the Netherlands you should take this in. Lota of areas to walk and the lines are not so long. Highly recommended.

In my opinion this park is very much overrated. Lines are very long... easily over 1 hour. Also one main ride was shut down and another rollercoaster you needed a separate boarding pass.
The section for 5 and under was nice but for kids 7+ then this park is a waste of time and money.

Best themepark in the netherlands. For all ages. The left side of the park is for 1-12 years. With lots of fairy s, playgrounds and the sprookjesbos (fairytail woods). The right side is more for the adult with all kind of rollercoasters. The price is a little bit expensive, bit you get entertainment the whole day through. Tip: good that you bring along, you don t have to buy.

This theme park was great! Although, the weather was extremely hot, the workers sprayed us with water. There were hoses with sprinkles to keep us cool, too. The workers at the rides were very kind, and they spoke English well! Sadly, to buy water, it was 2.95 . It was a bit expensive, but to keep me cool and hydrated, I bought it. I would recommend going in early fall/autumn, the weather should be cooled off by then.
The baron ride is my favorite. My niece who was afraid of rollercoasters at the beginning, by the end of the week there, she rode the baron 50 times!

First we love Efteling and we are returning this y...

First we love Efteling and we are returning this year. But I have to say, the booking is very difficult. It always was, but the mistakes they're making are actually costly. Each time they correct a booking they make a mistake and then charge more for their mistakes. My wife and I only wanted to add one night and one extra day in the park. That was great, and they did that at a reasonable price the first time, but then I noticed they made a mistake with the date, so they correct that and then upped the price, charging us entrance into the same day of the park double for 2 people! Each time I asked them to make a correction, they charged us more and more, but THEY were making the mistakes not us, so why keep charging us more to correct their mistakes?! In fact, there still is a mistake on the booking but I am afraid to ask them to correct it because I'm sure they'll charge us more again.

We paid originally about 731 euro for 4 overnights and then wanted to stay one extra night and day, the first charge was reasonable but after their mistake they charged us much more, over 300 euro for one night and two days in the park, one of those days in the par we ALREADY paid for! Argggg. It's impossible to get the necessary corrections, so I have given up, paid what they wanted and will wait for my tickets to see what we actually get. It's not funny, our stay is for 5 overnights and 6 days in the park and we paid for that (actually paid 7 days in the park since one day is doubled), but online it still says we are staying only for 1 night, but at least it has the correct 5 nights/6 days dated lol. Who knows what they'll finally send us. We don't know.

Again, we love Efteling, but this isn't right. Another thing that is frustrating is that when we booked, it said clearly (I can show you a picture of the booking) "unlimited access to Efteling," BUT NOW it says "excluding evenings" ... uhm, do they not understand what "UNLIMITED" means??? Does this mean Efteling changes what they sell you after you book? How can you stay at one of their hotels and pay for "unlimited access" and then NOT have "unlimited access?" Does that even make sense?

Common Efteling, you are better than this, or you should be. We love you, so show us some love back.

Well known large theme park. Theme is build around European fairytales. Can easily spend a whole day here as there are lots of things to see and do. Prices and waiting times can be quite high and long, depending on the day and season. Park has good bus connections to Tilburg central station.

Be prepared for a lot of walking which starts once you park the car! Really great place for fun rides, thrill rides and pretty scenery. It's somewhere you can take at your own pace. We saw a lot of people with little carts filled with food and drink which they pulled along behind them, these doubled as a way to transport the kids when they got tired. Prices for food and drink are typical theme park prices which explains families who bring their own. A fun way to get plenty of steps and fresh air.

Great place to get to know your fairytales! Plenty of rides with decent waiting times. It often took a lot less time than displayed in the app. As long as you're patient, you're sure to have a great time here.

The park covers an area of 72 hectares and features a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, dark rides, shows, and fairy tale-themed areas.

The history of De Efteling dates back to 1935 when it was opened as a sports park with playgrounds and a tea house. Another popular attraction is Python - one of Europe's largest roller coasters featuring multiple inversions over its track length.

For those who prefer more relaxed experiences can enjoy boat rides through Raveleijn or take part in interactive shows like Aquanura - an impressive water show featuring fountains synchronized with music & lights.

In addition to these attractions mentioned above; there are many other exciting things waiting for you at De Efteling! You can explore different themed areas like Adventure Realm (Reizenrijk), where you'll find exotic landscapes inspired by cultures around the world; or visit Land van Laaf – home for quirky creatures known as Laven who love nothing more than having fun!

If you're planning your visit soon then make sure you book your tickets online beforehand because this place gets crowded quickly during peak season! You can easily reserve your spot via their website which offers various packages depending on your preferences & budget.
