Absolutely fantastic from the accommodation to the park itself. Price is very reasonable and just cant rave enough about the entire experience. Brilliant park brilliant rides. Reasonable queueing in the middle of summer.

Great place to go with childeren. Childeren can go alone and it is perfectly safe. The rides are fun and the food is relitivley cheap. I do dont recomend the noodles stand. I recomend the kebab place at the train station. If you or your childeren have a long weekend I recomend to go on thursday because there are no long. Single rider is good because sometimes you get put together but therr id no gaurantee

Amazing park in Tilburg we never knew existed until we discovered it. Kids and adults had a fantastic time. Lots of attractions for all ages and interests. Good price and a perfect place to spend a day. Strongly recommend. Made in a whimsical gnome land way. Beautifully decorated and clean.

No wonder why disneyland was inspired by this park. Magic place based on our childhood fairytales. Lovely place with delicious restaurants, specially the one with pancakes. It has an easy to use app for the map.
The flying holland and the Baron are pure adrenaline.
The water and lights show at the end of the day is amazing.
The only thing I didnt like was the painted doves.

Wonderfully magical theme park where you get the feeling of walking inside a fairy tale. Details are all amazing and they keep renewing, so you can come again every few years. Suitable for all ages; 3-6 yo will enjoy the fairy tale garden, 6-10 yo will like the story houses, pre-teens and teens will like the fast and exciting rides, adults will love everything!

There's nothing quite like the Efteling. Designed in part by the Netherlands' celebrated artist Anton Pieck and kept in his style wherever possible, it has an enchanting pre-Disney fairy tale charm that my family find irresistible. Lately there has been a move away from Pieck and towards fleshing out the park's later-years mascot Pardoes, which I personally dislike, but many find him charming as anything. Can't deduct a star for that, because the beautifully themed thrill rides (Vliegende Hollander, Joris, Baron) more than make up for it.

Great for kids and childish adults. I was really amazed by the level of details. Even behind the corners and attractions they made sure everything looked great.
My 2 year old son loved it and everybody else in there seemed to have a great time.

An unexpected sunny day with the family at one of the world's most beautiful theme parks. I love this park and it is nice to see how it has evolved from my early childhood years until now. Keeping good traditions (strong theming) and building further on a solid foundation. You can spend the whole day just walking through the Sprookjesbos (fairy tale forest) or go from one exiting ride to another or mix it up as you like.
Today's highlights were the Flying Dutchman, Joris en de Draak and the water show at the end of the day.

Personally my favorite amusement park in the world. Love the aestetic and atmosphere. Also I find it amazing that literally all the rides are themed and that they put a lot of time and money it the designs and stories. Especially love 'De vliegende Hollander' a real mix between story and trill ride. It is also nice that they themed a lot the waiting lines and have some entertainment if it is a busy day.

The theming in this theme park is top notch! Everything has a story, their own characters and their own amazing decoration. Queue times are dependent on how busy it is, but there's enough shading. We went on a hot summer sunday and we didn't wait for more than 30 minutes. Go a complete day, from opening until closing, and you'll be able to go on all the largest rides, and a ton of the smaller ones.

Top!

Overall, I enjoy going to the place but some of the staff are very dismissive. If one, is a foreigner and may not speak Dutch, as not every visitor to Efteling is a resident of the Netherlands do not live there, one may get confronted upon arrival by someone insisting on rules about Covid in Dutch barked through a mask and if one asks for a confirmation of one's understanding, the person at the ticket kiosk would give an icy stare and look away... Similar grumpy attitude also at a sprokjebos attraction. Apparently tourists are expected to speak Dutch or they are considered sub human.

as soon as we arrived staff couldn't have been more helpful. we are a family with a wheelchair user child, so choosing a park with good toilets is essential for us. prices on site are good, lots of tasty food stations. our family went on 90% of the rides and simply ran out of time. A truly magical day

Magical and classic, fun for the whole family. I love the Efteling.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Enough activity to keep one busy and have lots of fun. Lots of variation in activity for all ages. Safe. Extreme rides. Children's activities. Places to relax.
Aesthetically pleasing.
And the food is pretty good for an amusement park.

A fun place to spend day with family, alone or with friends. Despite being the weekend, the wait lines for rides are not more than 20 minutes. Public restrooms and eateries are in abundance. Beautifully planned natural spaces with lakes, gardens, flower beds and very well maintained fun theme parks, rides, castles etc. Won't be able to the entire park in a day, need 2 days at least if one is interested in rides. Medium level roller coasters as well as small kids friendly rides. Only off point is the closing time in summers. When the days are long, the park should have longer operating times. And the magical fountain show is quite colorless to watch in daylight when it's post 6 pm but the lights which could really put the effect in place , are unseen due to day light being up.

An amazing theme park. There are a lot of attraction for young and old. You can walk through the fairytale forest or go in the 'flying Dutchman'. The flying Dutchman is one of the 5 biggest rollercoasters in this park. The Efteling is very special because of the story every attraction tells. Every single attraction has a story and sometimes you can easily see or hear the story and other times it's not that evident but they all have one.

It's simultaneously great for young children, adrenaline-seeking (young-)adults, and for enjoying nice calm rides. On top of that I'd say the overall atmosphere of the park is better realised than the competitors I've visited (Walibi, Movie Park Germany, Disneyland Paris) as every turn you take you'll find yourself in a fantasy/medieval themed area with rides to match. Truly astounding.

The Efteling is an incredible park. From the fairy tale forest to fast roller coasters. You can enjoy the park all year round. Young and old will be able to enjoy it. I go at least once a year

A big beautiful theme park. Anyone can enjoy here - kids, thrill-seekers, beauty lovers.. the park is very considerate of people with special needs - handicaps and elders, who don't need to stand in line, have a special entrance in many of the attractions and also can bring with them a chaperone (even more than one in some of the rides). Families with babies can use the baby-switch option, which is nice.
The app is a must - it includes a map (which works offline) and live queue times. There's free WiFi.

Unquestionably one of the finest theme parks on the planet. Delightful in part because it's so non-commercial. The focus is on your enjoyment, not trying to hammer you with advertising. A treasure not to be missed if you are anywhere within the Netherlands, Belgium, Northern France, Central-West Germany ... you get the idea.

If you love theme parks, immediately add this one to your bucket list.

The park to be in the Netherlands.

The park to be in the Netherlands.
You have a usefull app to make a reservation for a ride "the Python" when youre in the park (saves some waiting time)
Make sure you go on days that it is less crowed (it can be really crowded and wait times for some rides can exceed the 50 min wait time.
The ambience is trully amazing.

The winter Efteling gives you ice skating and some more based winter themes.

Absolutely always will be my favourite theme park. Been going here since I was a baby and its still a joy to go. It has everything for young and old. Beautifully themed with still keeping nature intact. A must go to!

With limited visitor numbers, it's still busy but I suppose less busy as normal. Waiting times are probably also less than normal. There's handgel at certain points in the park to disinfect your hands. Toilets were not always very clean, especially towards the end of the day. Not many people wearing masks and almost impossible to socially distance, especially when idiots stand right behind you in the queue.

99% of your time in efteling is spent on queuing. Rides are nice, but I couldn't believe I wouldn't be able to cover more than 3-4 max per day. I've been in other comparable large parks, but I've never seen huge queues for absolutely anything. I've been on a cloudy friday in August ( working day )

Great fun, we had a brilliant time, luckily I went in winter and the queues were short but I couldn't imagine how busy it'd be mid summer. Regularly found ourselves strolling past signs that said x hours to go

Really surprised at how great Efteling was! Prices are so cheap compared to amusement Park in the United States. It was also incredibly clean. Lines moved quickly and were often much shorter than the estimated wait time.

My husband hates any type of ride and still really enjoyed the park and had plenty of things to see and do.

I went to this theme park as a child, and I finally managed to revisit it with my parents, brother, sister and partners.
The magic is still here in the park. The thrill rides are a bit more spectacular then 20 years ago, but the fairy tale forest still manages to amaze smaal children and the adults that accompanied them.

Great park to visit, but be aware to take enough time because if it's busy you spend most of your time waiting in line. But the lights all over the park is spectacular especially when it's dark early.

Had a day spare in Amsterdam before our flight home so bought tickets to Efteling for the day. Was really easily organized, we were told to meet at a spot where we showed tickets and went on a private bus straight to the theme park. Cheap food inside and rides all included. Waiting times for rides weren t long at all. The park had magical vibes to it but more on the strange side. My friend and I weren t sure if it was just going to be for little kids as that s what they showed in the promo video. We (22 years old) had the best day! Would definitely recommend if you ve got a spare day in Amsterdam

This is expensive, you will be (including getting some food in the amusement park) paying around 50-60 euros but it's definitely worth it because it's beautiful and there is something to do for everyone. Whether you are young or old you will enjoy this place
