Days Inn Orillia Review

The room rate was expensive, floorings are hollow and people walking can be heard from above!

Days in was just lovely! Nephews 1st birthday party was there and the room was great and patio was fantastic.

Rooms very clean and cozy
Beds very comfortable. Bathroom spotless with sufficient towels

Very nice hotel, rooms are good size and clean. Room service is excellent. Nice big warm swimming pool and hot tube. Casino is only 2-3 minutes away.

We had a fabulous stay at the days Inn.. friendliest, helpful staff. Comfortable clean room. Wonderful to have limo service to shuttle us to casino. THANKS days Inn for a great experience.

The rooms were clean and bright. Toilet would not flush properly and the sink drained very slowly. Upon check out, I mentioned these issues. The staff didn't ask how our stay was and merely said we'll get that fixed with out even an apology. The continental breakfast was a poor.

Zero star at first we got to our room and the bed pillow etc had makeup and dirt all over it. In the bathroom open shampoo bottles with black hair. We then called front desk and the manager that helped us was amazing ! Switched our room no hassle the other room was clean when we were packing up to leave found a razor under the bed.. maid service needs a upgrade otherwise all other staff do the job well..dont think I would return just for the fact that the rooms are so un sanitary.

Booked under the pretense that breakfest was included however when we were checking out, breakfast was not available. We stopped at the Tim hortons right next door

All things considered a really good hotel for the price (I believe our room was $140 before applicable taxes and fees). When we arrived, the front desk informed us that their pool wasn t available for use but if we showed our key card at Rama we could use the facilities there. They also offered a free shuttle to and from Rama which was an amazing service - we used it to get to the casino and come home late at night. The room itself was nothing fancy, but clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable and noise was minimal between our room and the ones on either side of us. I m most impressed with the customer service given by the staff on duty during our stay; I ve stayed in many hotels, some really nice and expensive, and never have I had someone call up to our room shortly after arriving to ensure everything was to our liking. We were very pleased! Staff were also extremely helpful answering any questions we had and giving good recommendations for late night food. Unfortunately we never had a chance to eat breakfast in the morning but the fact that they offer it is a nice touch. The only issue I had was the amount of single use cups that were in our room; there are definitely more eco-friendly options than this and it would be nice to have glassware to use. This was by far the nicest Days Inn I ve stayed in, and I wouldn t be shy to stay here again in the future. A bargain for sure!

We had a wonderful stay...we were a bit skeptical about what the quality of the stay would be like but it was good...comfortable bed, mini fridge and microwave, nice view from our suite....can't ask for more

The rooms were clean and the place is easily accessible to explore Muskoka .

Stayed here for a weekend so I could play at rama. It was ok but just that, ok. Room was alright, bathroom a little tight space. Tv was secured to the dresser which was the same height as the bed so viewing in bed was awkward. At least the tv swivels. Breakfast was sad. Not much there; Bagels, hard boiled eggs, sausage, pancakes (I think, there was a weird machine that said it made them.), little fruit and oatmeal. But there wasn't really anything left by 9am when I went down for food. It's the cheaper option when you want to go to rama but dont want to pay rama stay prices. I'll stay again but maybe bring food.

Easy to get to if your snowmobiling. Rooms are clean, washroom is small but sufficient. Booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub. Went to use it and was told it was down for maintanace. No one mentioned this when I was booking.
Very frustrating, 3rd time booking a hotel 3 different locations/vendors same thing, hot tub not working.
Breakfast is ok but some fruit would be nice. Waffles, sausage, hardboiled eggs, muffins,bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt

We stayed here just for a night after watching the concert of Earth, Wind & Fire @ Casino Rama. The room was already available when we arrived. It's clean and cold as needed due to hot weather. The staffs are courteous. We also enjoyed their free breakfast. Overall, we'll be coming back ...definitely !!!

The location was amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is conveniently located across the street from Casino Rama.

It's okay... Nothing too fancy. It's a clean room, decent breakfast, close to the casino. My only slight complaint was that there wasn't much blocking of the noise. I can hear everybody in the hallway clearly. Other than that no problems.

Pillows and beds are very comfortable. I wish they provided more than one bar of soap (one for shower and another for hands). Good continental breakfast, nice looking pool, friendly staff.

Excellent. Great service and friendly staff. The hotel is well maintained and clean. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this Days Inn.

Rooms were clean staff was friendly but the breakfast was mediocre

After my long day of driving, finding a room was my only goal. I called this place and talked with a woman at the front desk. She immediately started to tell me that it's hard to get a room. I let her know what I was looking for and she proceeded to tell me she wasn't sure and she had to check. She had to pass me to the front desk but thinks there was a room and would have to ask the guy at the front desk. While I was on the phone she talked with the mam at the front desk asking him if they had a double room. The man left while I was waiting on the phone and came back within a minute and said yes. I let the woman know I wanted the room and gave her my Information. Name credit card etc. I let her know the time I would be arriving, she said that's fine. When I got to the days inn, a family in front of me were working on getting a room. The two at the front desk left me standing at the desk and went into the back room. No acknowledgement or hello or service. When they came back I let them know who I was and that I reserved a room. The woman started in with saying she was sorry and that they didn't have a room for me. She said it was her fault and she would make sure to find me a room close by. I was so upset, I walked out the door and left. I give this rating a zero. I will not refer or go to this place in the future. Their service in saying yes and taking my information was definitely interrupting policy customer care.

Terrible customer service. Everything I said, she had a negative answer for, even though I had called earlier. Maybe it was my race, I don't know. Walked out.

Went to enjoy a concert at Casino Rama.This Days Inn was easy to find, very clean, and our room was very nice. The bed was comfy and we slept well. We walked to the casino in well under 10min. Would stay here again, for sure!

Paid 190 plus 25 tax for a 2 queen room. No frills. Not even a complimentary bottle of water. Very small tv with very limited local channels and vod. Staff fast and courteous. Offers free continental breakfast. Bring your own food or prepare to eat inside the casino. Pizzaville is advertised in the room for delivery. Other restaurants sparsely located 5 to 10 km away.

Pool and rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. Great service. We had to switch room but had no problems.

Unexpected visit...lovely suite with living room and separate bedroom with Jett tub...e xtremely clean facility with wonderful staff...excellent coffee and juice

It was okay. Drains in the sink and bathtub did not work so that made showering and brushing teeth quite gross. Also, paid for a suite and the fireplace did not work. Room, even if everything was functional, was not worth the money they charge.

Was clean and close to the casino. They hv a continental breakfast which was ok . Should hv it being served a little longer. Got to breakfast at 9:55 am and most of the food was put away.

Hotel was really nice and clean. Staff were very friendly.
It was nice that there was a limo shuttle for only $6 a load to take you to the casino and also there to take you back for another $6.

I just spent one night in this hotel. It's clean, almost new, we'll maintained and great for families. The room was spacious with two queen beds. Front desk were friendly and welcoming and the pool was just great.
I think the breakfast needs some more varieties but was good and sufficient to start the day. Try to get the higher rooms with a view towards the forest and the lake

The room was clean and staff were friendly. My kids used the pool and it was very warm in the pool area. The free breakfast was good too.

Had a amson time with my girlfriend great ppl who work there nice location checked in around 11 pm had a great Jacuzzi before bed had great breakfast went to hot tub and had a swim from 6 am to 10 am was beautafull never been so relaxed in my life

Stayed there for 3 days and everytime we left we tested to see if they really did clean our rooms . The answer was no ..they made the beds and topped our soaps. Upon leaving I usually do a good sweep of the room just in case my kids forgot anything and found things from prior guest. Breakfast was ok but ran out of things had to wait 45 minutes for so.eone to refill the station.

Ellen Larmant is the front office supervisor I saw when I came into the hotel early in the afternoon . In the morning she was up early and was working long hours , her outstanding work is very well appreciated . Hotel was clean and fresh . I recommend this hotel to everyone , they are friendly staff that will cater to your needs .

Had a great time, the key deposit where very on the pricey side, should be asking 600 bucks for it if you ask me, other then that everyrhing was great, breakfast was great better then any ither hotel/motel/inn ive ever stayed at. A pit in the middle of no where

The service at this hotel is amazing. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times this year, I'm in a band and we play at the casino Rama across the street, and every time we stay we feel right at home!

The ladies at the front desk are always willing to help, be it giving us tourist info, helping with printing set lists ( because I forgot them... THANKS RACHEL!) or just chatting about music.

The hotel is also very clean clean and up to date, comfy beds and great breakfast!

We will be staying here again in September And we can't wait! What an amazing staff!

32" tv fuzzy picture with malfunctioning remote. Cold pool. Poor breakfast. And over priced at over $200. Per night for small noisy room.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice indoor pool area. Breakfast in the morning. Shuttle to the casino.... Love it. Won't stay anywhere else.

Room & facilities were great, but no casino shuttle & terrible breakfast, sausage but no eggs only hard cold boiled. No skim milk only 2%, the bread for toast you had to reach into the bread bag like other people to get the bread. Not very sanitary.

This hotel was worth what we paid to stay on a Friday night. The rooms were great and they were spotless. Coffee pot in the rooms for early risers and a very nice breakfast included.

Customer service is great, rooms are nice. Great amenities too.

Front counter staff were very pleasant but did not mention to me that there was a discount for seniors. The room was clean but had a funky smell to it and after awhile we got used to it and didn't notice it. Room had a jacuzzi tub which I paid extra for but the water circulation was very poor, like the pump was half worn out.

The only thing disappointed that the swimming pool is not available after 10pm.

Hubby broke back yet we tried to take in a two day weekend. Due to back pain, we left one day early. Leaving before 11am, they only charge day instead of the two days booked. Thanks for understanding.

Very nice. Clean. They also had a thing going with a limo driver that came to transport people back and forth to the Casino which was great.

I booked a room that apparently didn't exist and they did nothing for me. I paid an exorbitant amount of money for a room I didn't want. My whole reason for choosing them was for the whirlpool in the room. I did not get the room I wanted and they still refuse to refund any portion of my money. Not even a credit for the future.

Great location for Rama. Clean. Great shuttle service. But customer service is still lacking for me and I was there a couple weeks ago.

There was supposed to be a limited breakfast, but all they had was juice and coffee. Last time I checked that doesn't count as food. Rooms were clean and bed decently but the rooms are definitely old and a little run down looking
