They are always on time or early, reasonably price...
They are always on time or early, reasonably priced, and they always communicate changes in pickup or drop off time. They are reasonably priced and their drivers are always so nice and friendly!

Not recommended. They are not responsible enough to their customer. Plus, they like to change your pick up time without clear reason.
Absolutely appalling treatment and service. The transfer left without me 30 mins earlier than it said it was going to leave, so I was stranded at the airport. After speaking with the manager, who was extremely rude even yelling at me as the other reviews have described, eventually had to get an Uber. Avoid at all cost.
Driver did not arrive on time. No apology about their tardiness. Then waited 2 hours for another passenger. While waiting driver mentioned tip and gratuity, how obnoxious! Traveling alone and in the very early morning, felt I had no other choice. No one answered the phone when on website said to call them on arrival. If you are a female (and I hate to be gender bias) do NOT use this service. Looking at the reviews, looks like only men gave more stars. If I could I would give no stars and a thumbs down! DO NOT use this service. Horrible service!
I have always had good experiences with the Davis Airporter
Faster than the Yolo Bus and cheaper than an Uber XL. It's a good option for getting to and from the airport, especially if you don't have a car of your own.
Why are there so many mean people out there? This is a great business and I've used them for years without problems.
Some mixed reviews but I appreciated their professionalsim, called them before and after and my queries were addressed. I can understand some confusions that may arise, we almost missed a passenger for pick up at SFO and it was probably because communicating by phone can be tricky for those travelling from abroad, maybe employ a chatting app or Skype?
I waited a little at SFO and was picked up right on time in Davis, I found the service reliable and drivers friendly, would use again!
If you need to go to Davis from the Sacramento airport (or vice versa), Uber (or another car sharing service) is definitely a better option. Upon arrival at the Sacramento airport, it was very easy to find the Airporter shuttle, and the driver was very professional. The cost for my travel was $23. Interestingly, this is the same price as a Uber ride.
I received a confirmation from the Davis Airporter that I would be picked up at 3:30am (for my 5:40am flight out of Sacramento). A few hours prior to departure, however, Davis Airporter called to tell me my time was switched to 3:50am. When I asked why the time was different from the confirmed time, I was asked by the Davis Airporter operator what are you worried about? After picking up some more riders (who were difficult to locate) in Davis, we finally left Davis around 4:20am. I did make my flight, but did not have a lot of time to spare and also had to stand in a long line to board the flight (which would have been much shorter had Davis Airporter been on time).
There are services in addition to Uber that will bring you to the Sacramento airport from Davis at any time of the day (without having to stop for additional riders like a shuttle does). I understand the logistic difficulties associated with picking up multiple riders from different locations, but if Davis Airporter wants to remain competitive in an age of Uber and related services, they need to do a better job of ensuring the quality of their phone operators and adjusting their fares.
Long story short, if you re traveling from/to Davis/Sacramento, use Uber.
I basically confirm everything the other one star raters have to say about the service and interaction with the staff manager of Davis Airporter. I canceled a reservation a week in advance of my trip - then when I landed at the airport I got about 6 calls from Davis Airporter from the manager where she threatened to charge me for the ride I had canceled. She was incredibly rude to me on the phone. I will never even consider using their service again. I've never dealt with a service professional who was as mean and unfriendly as the manager at this business. After she told me she was going to charge me for the ride that I had clearly tried to cancel prior to the trip, she basically blamed me for her office's lack of communication between it's staff. Putting blame for logistics mistakes on the customer is NEVER a good idea when you're trying to run a business.
I would definitely not recommend Davis Airporter. Please stay away from this shuttle company if you have other choices.
I recently reserved a shuttle service from SFO to Davis for a friend traveling from other country. There was a really long line at the customs when my friend arrived, so it took her a couple of hours to get through it. During the waiting, the dispatcher (who said she is the manager) called me a few times to ask where my friend is. Her extremely bad attitude (impatience, yelling, and hung up on me twice) made me feel very uncomfortable, but the worst part was her threatening of calling the driver back if I don't pay extra money to compensate the driver's wait. But the extra charge has never been mentioned anywhere throughout the reservation. She even lied to me saying it is on the contract. I read the confirmation email three times afterwards, and there's no such rule in the email or on their web page whatsoever!
She made a couple more calls after the first, and told me that she just wanted me to pay more. I refused to pay extra, because there is absolutely no written rule and no transparent rate information about the extra charge. When my friend finally got through the customs (it was less than 2 hours pass the scheduled landing time), she called the company but the dispatcher yelled at her saying that the driver has left, and that she has already charged, then hung up on my friend. My poor friend ended up stayed for a couple more hours until my another friend picked her up.
" We allow 30 minutes for passengers to claim luggage after arriving on a domestic flight. For international flights, we allow passengers 1 hour to clear customs and claim luggage. Passengers taking longer than the time we allow may miss their shuttle and may have to wait for the next available driver." This is the rule mentioned on the confirmation email after the reservation was made. Instead of being so rude and irresponsible to their customers (and asking for extra money), the manager could have kindly provide more information about the next available driver, but she never did. By the way, the rule of 1 hour for customs and luggage is way too short for those foreigners taking international flights.
The worst part is that they didn't complete the service but still charged my credit card for $85. We had a three-way phone call with the credit card company because I wanted to dispute the transaction. Like before, the manager kept shouting and interrupting the conversation. She even told the credit card company that I canceled the shuttle services, which is totally a lie! This is such an unpleasant experience. One of my friends used Davis Airporter before and had the exact same situation (driver left without notice and credit card being charged).
Stay away from this company, especially if you need a ride back from SFO. Otherwise, you might expect $85 to be gone but still waiting at the airport.
I used Davis Airporter to and from SFO to Sacramento on this trip and was very impressed with drivers and efficiency. The drivers called ahead and were given clear instructions for the gated facility. I am very happy to report that for door to door service I would use them again. I had one of the best drivers Lori and she was a good driver not to mention an amazing lady in general. Good luck with future business your service was Excellent.:)!!
Not a bad service. Gets you to and from. CNG fueling and safe. Drivers are regular people. Smiles and drives. Enjoyable conversations with people from numerous backgrounds and ethnicities.
Best place for an airport shuttle $85 from Davis to Sac. $120 for 2 people. Can't find a better deal. Just can be packed during the end of the college semester and holidays.
The driver was late for fifteen minutes and very impatient. She referred to most passengers in the format of "pickup location +passengers," while she was strangely very polite to a young man and asked for his name. Both the tardiness and the partial treatment of guests are unacceptable.
Worst managment and highly unprofessional (they hung up the phone on me). Would not recommened. They expected me to be ready in 5 minutes even though they didn't send me a confirmation email. Wish I could write 0/5 stars.
What a horrible experience. We had scheduled and confirmed a van ride home after our international travel that was supposed to be with no other passengers. When we arrived at SFO we were told our van would have one other passenger who would be at the van right away. The office people at Davis Airporter basically kept lying to us and kept us waiting over an hour so that they could put even more people into the van ride. I would never have booked them (and they make you pay in advance) for such a ride. I will NEVER use them again and will tell all my friends not to use them. It was an absolutely horrible way to end our vacation in Europe.
The lady on the phone is always rude and enjoys hanging up on customers. My friend experienced a similar situation as other reviewers mentioned -- driver left without giving her a notice... It seems to me that they never care for their customers or even their reputation. Really horrible business!
The service was excellent. It was better than me having to drive to SFO and deal with Bay area traffic
Don't use this service. I've had good experiences in the past but right now, these people change pick-up times in the last minute, and insist on charging me despite cancelling a service. They should really reconsider changing their payment or cancellation policy. Until they do, avoid this garbage like plague.
I have used Davis Airporter many times and always found them very efficient and punctual. That is why I am very surprised at those negative reviews.
If I could give it NO star I would ... Stay away and don't even bother contacting them !!
We rely on Davis Airporter on regular trips to and from the Sacramento Airport. Thank you for being so reliable and professional!
We used Davis Airporter for our recent trip to Europe (Sacramento<>SFO), recommended by our friend. 5 Stars. Straight forward reservation, punctual pick ups, friendly drivers. Everything went 100% smooth. For the ride to SFO we got Mercedes van (photo uploaded).
