The service is good but the rooms are incredibly old! I don't think it really is a five star hotel just by looking at the condition of the room.

Really nice, very expensive but luxurious accordingly.
Top of the line hotel. Great pool. Right in the heart of the tel Aviv Beach area.. walking distance from Jaffa and the markets. Short drive from the Namal and Rothchild ... Lots of restaurants, pubs, clubs, nightlife, surfing, beaches and shopping close by.
Great except parking was TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE, IL 82 for 2:45 minutes. That's plain robbery for someone to come and see a guest at the hotel. Totally not justified!
The place is quite beautiful but very expensive
And the restaurant in the lobby is insanely expensive
Amazing location. Very good team. A little trouble understanding where the parking is located (not the first entrance).
Not staying here, but friends are. Typical luxury hotel. But, there's no place to buy a bottle of water, pack of gum, etc. Why?
Very nice hotel. Good facilities and the rooms have fantastic views.
Best minibar ever. Nice rooms. Nice view. Good location
Excellent customer service, very accommodating. If you love art, check their galleries. You won't be disappointed. One of the best hotels I have stayed at.
Professional hosting for a big conference. Although at such a load, it is desirable to better clean the amenities. Also postpone the ongoing noisy amendment.
Beautiful public spaces and lobby welcome you as you enter this large hotel. I found our room to be dated, and in need of a face lift. We did enjoy fabulous views of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean from the spacious balcony adjoining our room.
Espresso and even Israeli "mud" in the Lobby costs 21 Shekels ... out sid the hotel 5-10.
Espresso for 21 shekels ...
Yes, black coffee for 21 shekels
In short if it is possible to slaughter tourists or guests, then why not
Theft in daylight!
We charge NIS 90 for parking
While on the other side of the road is a municipal parking lot (of course the signs are really quite small
Amazing hotel perfect location and excellent service
This is not ideal for a long spa day. We bought a package of a spa day including breakfast and the facilities in the hotel but the attitude wasn t very nice especially if you re trying to stay the entire day which is also more expensive, you don t get a towel or a locker. We had to come early for breakfast and we felt unwanted until the appointment when we had to ask for a locker at this point. You re paying too much and feel guilty for spending the whole day. On the other hand place is very clean they use good quality products especially for the Old Sabon lovers, it s everywhere. The masseuse are great and at the end you get a sorbet :)
Absolutely fabulous!!! Very good location, service quality is very high, we love it!
Hotel staff thieves will keep good on your bags and wallets ...
Very nicely rested, class rooms, food and spa are gorgeous !!!
Well, it could be a great hotel but the service is MUCH BELOW the InterCo standard. Pricing - not cheap.
The Dan chain hotel is located in the southern part of the Tel Aviv embankment within walking distance from the entertainment center Hatahana and the Carmel Rvnka. Nearby are a playground for children and a sports ground. 15 minutes walk - Old Jaffa and the port. Near the hotel is one of the bohemian areas of Tel Aviv - Neve Tzedek.
The beauty of an organization of an international conference.
Super expensive bar and the most unpleasant security guys that I've ever met :-( If possible, find another place to stay
Without a clue, I don t even remember if I was here ..
I stay here a lot--at least once every TA visit and it s always great. It s a beautiful property. Great breakfast.
It s on the southern end of the TA strip of hotels. Short walk to Jaffa. It s across the street from the beach vs some right on the beach.
The rooms are poorly soundproofed poitevin hotel of this category Qunad the staff, vacuumed in the morning ... the doors slamming ...
An excellent hotel of a very high standard
The spacious rooms are beautifully equipped and luxurious
The food is very tasty and the wide variety is served in excellent quality at a very high level.
It is highly recommended
Good service at this hotel. Comfortable rooms and sumptuous Israeli breakfast buffet.
When we were there for a couple of weeks, they put us next to a room undergoing construction. When we complained, they were very gracious and upgraded us on an upcoming subsequent stay.
The view is really beautiful, but everything else does not even match my expectations for a 5 star hotel. The value for money I do not feel right. All my complaints and suggestions for improvement here would fill a book and cause me stomach ache. Too bad, since I'm used to other things from InterCont in other countries in general.
i had a dinner only. i didnt stay. the food and the service was great.
When my partner and I arrived to check in we were told at the counter that a mistake had been made and the bed we were given was actually 2 single beds.
The nice woman at the counter apologized and called the manager .. The manager came, also apologized, asked us to wait another hour until they made us another room, and as compensation he gave us access to the hotel's business lounge for free for our entire stay. A very good attitude for me, since, instead of starting to get upset about how my vacation is starting, I passed the time in a round sticking out sandwiches and drinking freely in the lounge.
to the hotel for that.
The room we got was huge, with a balcony and a sea view. You can play stanga in the room, just be careful on the TV.
While the room shows signs of wear and tear, which means the hotel needs to spend some money on renovations, it is not at a level where the stay is damaged.
Since we were here on Friday and Saturday, breakfast was good, but there was a lack of food that could be prepared on a weekday. Overall the hotel is superb, luxurious and makes you feel like you are "hi sociable". Probably because of this the people who come there do not mind pouring money, because the cost versus benefit is not so good .. We paid for a room per night close to 2000 shekels. And that I will not start talking at all about the excessive cost of parking.
In short if there is money like sand come to the Intercontinental,
Great hotel.
Charges are also high for parking for those presenting at the conference and exhibition. Books are very crowded
The hotel restaurant is perfect and even kosher
International service
Tasty dishes
The beauty of a restaurant and an European experience with a beautiful sea view
Wonderful hotel, excellent executive lounge, nice amenities. Perfect location.
Nice business hotel - very comfortable and courteous service. Little further south of action, but otherwise super convenient.
A hotel like any other in the Intercontinental chain. Modern, functional, elegant, with everything you might need at all levels. The only downside is that in the case of restoration it is mandatory kosher for the customer. No choice.
Very nice staff and great bar/lobby area. Rooms could use an update.
We had an unpleasant experience at all that was not addressed in the hotel's response that there is currently no one to take care of it, most of the hotel employees speak only English and said they do not speak Hebrew.
But surprisingly you hear on the side that Hebrew is spoken to each other.
Treating tourists rather than locals.
Terrible service, disrespectful speech at all by the hotel security guards at the entrance. Mistrust of the guest.
We were a family of 3 rooms, although the rooms are clean and cozy but we will not really return
And also recommends you stay away from this hotel.
Nice lobby...very disappointing room. For such a high end property to have shabby, old, dirty rooms is a shame. Staff is very nice, but does not make up for dirty furniture, dirty phone, old carpet, and a/c that does not work. Couldn't sleep because temp in room must have been almost 80f. Dirty bathroom...mirrors dirty, toilet box dirty, and dirty carpet. More like a cheap motel then a 5 star resort.
************
Update...interesting that the hotel mgmt never followed up on my review or lack of service. No air conditioning for 3 nights....just awful! They set up fans....ok that worked...lol. They did clean the room after my complaint ...but carpet was old and stained.
Nice hotel, nothing more, the food is very average comparing other 5 star Israeli hotels
We waited 30 minutes at the bar without a waiter wanting to move our order.
5-stars hotel ? Not less on!
Very luxurious and sought after hotel, located on the seafront in Tel Aviv close to Jaffa and Neve Tzedek and the station complex in Tel Aviv, an old and reputable hotel with everything needed and providing everything to guests, everything at a very high standard and an experience to stay in the place. Highly recommended
Spent a day at the spa which included a treatment , lunch in lobby and room. The spa was ok. Promised 3 hour car park however didnt mention that if u stay over 3 hours you are refunded 7 shekels only. The service in lobby was terrible- slow and the waitresses were not familiar at all with menubor with deal. the rooms old fashioned and need renovations
Stay away.
Only used the spa facilities. Reception, treatment rooms and lockers are perfectly fine. Free water, tee, juices and cookies. Showers were disappointing. Water was running extreme hot and cold randomly and the shower head was broken. Massage was ok+, not great. They offer free parking. Might give them another chance.
High class!
The lobby, the rooms, the pool are all grand and beautiful.
We took this hotel for 3 nights to come straight forward after our wedding, and also I started my preparations for wedding in the hotel. First of all the service is terrible, everything I asked the stuff "made me favor" that they do something for me. The bed and pills are terrible, and also we didn't get anything extra like a married couple( I'm talking about small thing line bottle of wine or maybe fruits) just nothing except the service that gives you a feeling of disregard.Forgot to mention that breakfast is also terrible, it's just not tasty and doesn't look like breakfast in 5 star hotel.
Stayed there for 3 weeks. Everyone was friendly in the hotel. Room was clean, good sea view. Free WiFi for some corporate staffs. Luckily I am one of them. Will definitely stay there again if I am asked to go Israel again.
I came to the conference and there is no wifi. Are we back in the 20th century?
Splendid: location, reception, breakfast at the top!
