Was treated as though they were doing us a favor to sell us a car. Had been in contact online for price and trade in value, didn t want to stand by it said that that price was only good if you financed with them wanted 5.89 % when advertising 0% and that was them adding to the amount and cutting us a check back? . Said that they were already giving us a deal I asked to speak to the person who was giving the salesman information even made eye contact with him myself and asked him to talk to us but he turned and cover him face and walked away. Was not shown features of car, never really thanked. After all the cars I have purchased this dealership staff was the most unprofessional unfriendly and unwelcoming I have ever had. I like the car but wouldn t drive back there to deal with them and to be treated that way. I asked for a bag to put my stuff out if my car in and was handed a huge paper box

Dave Edwards does a great job! I take my car there every single time for my oil change! Kevin Hood is the best! He always takes care of us! He is patient while I get my toddler out of the car and all her belongings to keep her occupied while we wait on the oil change! He also makes sure that he explains the paper work and makes sure if I have any questions that he answers them! When you go there be sure you work with Kevin Hood!!

While every Toyota dealership I've been to has offered great service (Bellevue, WA; Medford, OR, and Layton, UT), this one has been by-far the best. I will definitely be back!

She was very patient with us and took the time to walk us through everything. She got us a great deal on a beautiful new car. I have bought a couple of cars from them before (new and used), and was very happy with the overall experience both times. I still have both vehicles, and get them serviced from them, and am very happy with the service experience every time as well.
Couple of months ago I found a problem of using too much oil with one of my cars. I had a lifetime powertrain warranty from the Southeast Dealers who apparently are not the best to back up their warranties. But the team (Kristi and others) in Dave Edwards actually went out of their way to get the car fixed for me. A very pleasant surprise to me to see this dealership go out of their way to keep a long time customer happy.

Worst experience i have ever had with a car dealer...

Worst experience i have ever had with a car dealership. I drove an hour and half to go look at a car after i was told they could get me out of my current car and in to a 2020 Camry. I spent 4 hours at the dealership and around 645 my sales person came to me and told me they will have to call me back either Monday or Tuesday with an answer because it was almost closing time. So i basically wasted half of my day driving for nothing. I will never ever do business with this place again.

I'm pleased to report I had an delightfully positive experience on a recent trade-in at Dave Edwards Toyota in Spartanburg, SC. I live in the Atlanta area, and a vehicle I'd been looking for (Sienna SE) over the course of about 6 months popped up on my radar, at Dave Edwards Toyota. I called to inquire about the vehicle, and Matt Culletto was very helpful answering all my questions about it. I decided the 3.5 hour drive was worth it to see and inspect the vehicle in person. It was just as reported, and Matt and the rest of the team that I had the pleasure of meeting were all positive, professional, and a pleasure to meet, making the experience truly worth 5 stars. My wife is thrilled with her Sienna SE, which makes me very happy. In addition, I was extremely impressed with the Cafe, Lobby, and Children's Reading Nook, and I may have drooled all over Dave's Classic FJ Cruiser Collection. Thanks Matt, and Dave Edwards Toyota!

My experience at Dave Edwards was great from start to finish! I came to Dave Edwards through a True Car referral and thank God I did. I have never been treated so well by a car dealership. JB , my salesman called me that same day and we set up an appointment in October to meet. We picked out the car that I wanted. I explained to him that I was a member of a class action buyback through VW, that I was waiting on the settlement of my claim to be able to buy the vehicle. I thought it would take 30 days, well it ended up taking almost 5 months. He was patient and understanding. Checked in on me monthly and never made me feel pressured. The day I finally came to buy my Toyota went smooth and seamless with JB and with the help of John David. Now I have a dependable brand new car I love from a car company I have 100% faith in, being a single mother it means so much. If you are looking for a new Toyota, I highly recommend you go to Dave Edwards Toyota of Spartanburg!!! ( just got my free manicure, while waiting for my windows to be tinted, this place is great )

After owning a Toyota for nearly 17 years and 261k miles, it was time to purchase another from Dave Edwards Toyota. Why, because Toyota makes a GREAT, reliable vehicle and the Dave Edwards Service Team performed their work most admirably for 17 years. Also because of sales people like Charlie Tomey who checked on me periodically through the years and every time I was in the Dave Edwards Service Department having my Highlander maintained. Ben Yoo also did an outstanding job taking car of me during my next Toyota purchase of a Tacoma TRD Pro and evening helped my father-in-law smoothly complete the purchase of a Toyota RAV4 a few months prior. I and my family have nothing but positive experiences to share about the Dave Edwards Team. Sold me a 17 Camry, with over 2k miles for the price of a new car, now that's proof pricing , I know it's my fault for doing the deal but did not realize how bad a deal it really was until I had time to do some homework. Dont trust these goons, to follow up on your comments my credit was over 700,the Camry was an le that means no extra, it's the cheapest model ,your greed is the reason for overcharging my family in which we could not afford with a newborn I hope your happy like I said before dont trust these crooks

I just purchased my second vehicle in 4 years from Dave Edwards Toyota and the sales man, Tony Jackson. This is the best place that I ever purchased a vehicle. Mr. Jackson went out of his way to find the Tacoma my wife and I wanted. We actually got a Tacoma with more options and a 2017 instead of 2016 for the agreed price.
I bought 3 other Toyota's from another location in NC, but Dave Edwards were so easy to deal with. It was stress free and very professional. One word that stands out when I think of this dealership is class!

Having been a loyal customer of Dave Edwards Toyota for more than 20 years, it has become routine and expected to receive outstanding service to include from our salesman, Tony Jackson. Today (Monday, August 24, 2020) my husband and I were having our Highlander serviced for the fuel pump recall and mentioned to our service person, Kristen Orion, about experiencing problems with our blue tooth too. This young lady went above and beyond to help us. In fact we picked our car up a little before 5. Knowing it was approaching time for her to get off work, she jumped in our car and went over step by step on what to do about about our blue tooth problem not worrying about the time. It was so refreshing to see someone not to care about themselves but others. Kudos to Kristen for outstanding customer service, to Tony Jackson, as always, and to Dave Edwards Toyota!

We had a 3:45 appointment. We were getting an oil change, tire rotation, and a recall. We were told that it would take about an hour and a half. At 5:30 we asked the advisor when would our car be ready. She called the mechanic. The mechanic said he just got the car. The advisor said " you just got the Avalon that's been sitting here for an hour and a half"? The mechanic said yes, and that it would be at least an hour. We informed them that we had to get to the airport for a flight. Miraculously, we got the car back in 30 minutes and we were told it was done. The gentleman who walked us out to the car said this service normally takes 2 hours we are actually right on schedule. I don't think so when the car was sitting there for an hour and a half with no one looking at it and then all of a sudden it's done in 30 minutes. I know the tires were rotated but other than that who knows. If you value your time I would not come here. Appointments at this place mean nothing! To top it off when we got in the car we noticed the maintenance required light was still on. We went back in and told them the light was still on. Someone came out and turned that off. We wasted over 2 hours of our time, but we did manage to get to the airport on time.

Probably one of the best Toyota dealers in the country. I bought a 4Runner TRD Pro from Dave Edwards back in '16 and they got everything right on it. I even had to get my invoice 4 years later from finance for my tax records and Vince cheerfully helped me get what I needed. Would definitely bring my business to Dave Edwards again.

We purchased a 2013 Camry, in which we understand is used, but the next day driving on the interstate, we hear this continuous rattling noise that is unbearable when we get to speeds around 65-70 mph. We take the car back immediately to see if they could figure out the problem and possibly help us out on it because we haven't even had the car for 24 hrs yet. The service department determines the trim is loose/cracked on the drivers side door and the runner for the glass needs replacing. So, sales originally told us they'd help, now has changed their mind to this is cosmetic and you're going to need to pay $600-700 dollars to get it fixed. After arguing the cost a while, they get the price down to $506.72. In which we went ahead and paid because I've spend half my work day at Dave Edwards, I'm just loosing more money. I looked up the parts online they sold me, along with a $250 service fee they could not just drop, and the parts are still marked up way above cost. They helped none. You would think after spending thousands of dollars with them, they wouldn't let $500 dollars go to make a new customer feel good about the deal, especially bringing something to their attention the very next day of buying the car.

Helped my granddaughter buy her first vehicle. I had a great salesman Ronnie Ray who whom I feel went beyond being just another car salesman. Friendly professional and puts the customer first. From walking in the door and going through the entire process was a great experience for my granddaughter and myself. Now my granddaughter has an understanding of how a good salesman and dealership should be. They have set a standard that will be difficult to replicate.

It's always a pleasure to take my car in to Dave Edwards Toyota for servicing. It matters to me that the service area is always spotless and orderly. I took my car in Saturday with only a brief call first, and they changed my oil and rotated my tires. It was amazing how quickly they were done, and I was back home. Also love the discount coupons that come in between servicing, and the informative-but not pushy-general checkup notes on my car's components.

Our salesperson, James was professional and friendly, the finance person, John David, explained our options and didn't pressure us to buy anything we didn't want, and Dave Edwards himself came out and greeted us. Wonderful Truck, no issues there. The customer service experience was considerably lacking however. After purchasing the truck a year later while buying a house I was asked why I co-signed for a loan. I never did. Dave Edwards apparently has messed up the paperwork and now it is reflected as a co-signature when I am the owner of the loan. I have called no less than a dozen times and left 6 voicemails with none of them ever being returned. Ended up just explaining to the bank that I was the owner of the loan and have given up on Dave Edwards even attempting to care. Will buy Toyota again but not from them.

It was an ok experience. When I drove up to the service area I told the sales person Michael that I was in a hurry and I asked him if my van would be done in time. He said yes. When it started to get late I couldn't find him anywhere because he went to lunch . Thankfully, this nice lady with long blonde hair helped me checkout and get out of there. I think the dealership is a little deceptive because they just charge everyone the $90 even if they know what the issue might be and they charge you for them to give you a list of all that is wrong even if you didn't want that ... It's for their own benefit that they charge you $90 so they can try to sell you more stuff. When we went to look at new vans later the salesman Antonio started off nice by shaking hands and joking, but he got visibly angry and bitter when I didn't want the one van they had. He wouldn't shake my hand goodbye. We decided we want to buy from CarMax and not deal with all of these sales tactics.
