I started having an awesome experience with this dealership, they gave great customer service, excellent selection, and a very pleasant sales staff! However, they were supposed to turn in information to the DMV, that never got turned in. Resulting in me going back and forth to the DMV without being able to get my tags registered! When asked why hasn't it been done, the best they offered was an apology! My first temporary tag expired, the one that was issued for an extension, will soon be expired. Sorry won't cut it! Business is business, and it must be handled professionally, and in a timely manner! I Love the car, but hate the situation!

This is truly the worst car repair experience i have ever encountered. I originally brought my Cadillac in for Warranty repairs that were supposed to be covered by Cadillac. First i called and made an appointment only to find they scheduled me at the wrong dealership. When i got there they made me wait over an hour just to drop it off because all of their service writers were in a meeting (which was odd because when i arrived i was talking to one of them and she just left me waiting there). I dropped off the vehicle and it took over a week just to get it diagnosed. That was after numerous calls to get a status and a bunch of failed promise to get back to me with an update. They still hadn't repaired it and i needed my vehicle, so they gave it back to me and told me they were ordering parts for it and they would call me when the parts came in. Well after 3 weeks i never heard from anyone so i called to find out the status and i was told by the assistant manager he would personally call me back to let me know the status and to this day i have still not heard from him. I never seen a repair shop so careless to the customers need and i will now have to go out of state just to get my vehicle repaired. They can bet i will never buy from them or get service there ever.

My car needed a new throttle body and it could not...

My car needed a new throttle body and it could not make it back to my home dealership. After being informed that I needed a new battery as well, they made the repairs and I finally got on my way home. Come to find out, the throttle body repair should have been covered by the warranty, but Vaden Chevy charged me anyways. After getting my home dealership involved, as well as corporate GM, they partially refunded the throttle body repairs. Even after all this, they still shorted my on the refund. If you have another place to get your car serviced, I advise you do so. If you still decide to go with them, have an extra snack or two for my sake.

Don't buy a car from here. Once they have made a sale good luck trying to recieve any kind of service.Only having my used car for 2 months brought it in for service. First they couldn't find any of my warranty information in their system. I had to go to the sales place to get another copy and when they gave it to me they acted like they were doing me a favor. After 3 hrs of waiting around they informed me they don't have the right tools to fix any of the problems that I have. They also did not compete the oil change I requested. When I complained all I was told was to call an 800 number to schedule another appointment somewhere else. They do not care about you only the money. Avoid this place at all cost

I took my vehicle to be serviced. After I was told I'd be given call with the diagnosis, I wasn't offered place to sit and wait neither was I informed on the shuttle services. I understand it was top of the morning but I am a customer. With the expectation of great customer service!

Great People, great service. My truck was delivered with a broken key fob and a dent in the tailgate that will not be covered. That's my fault for buying a truck in Savannah that was at the Pooler store. Just make sure you check over your vehicle really well before you sign and your experience will be even better than mine! I love my new truck! Thank you, Dan Vaden Savannah!

This place is a SCAM!! Was told I needed over $800...

This place is a SCAM!! Was told I needed over $800 in repairs and my warranty would not cover. I researched it and discovered my issue was covered under Powertain Warrently. I then received a call stating I only had limited warranty (which is not true). They had another associate call me back trying to sell me an additional warranty policy. After arguing with them for two hours and going back and forth, they knew I had researched and knew what I was talking about. They said they made a mistake and everything is covered 100%. MILITARY STAY WAY! SCAM ARTIST! Do your research and make sure your under warranty before getting any work done. They are out to get your money!!

Not only does he make anyone who works under him feel completely worthless, he s a self centered business man who purposely pushes small businesses to the curb knowing he s affecting so many small families lives without a single care in the world. I had been having problems with my old car for several months and my husband kept insisting that it was time to buy a new car. I was adamant that I didn't want to. Really just didn't want to go through all that pressure just to end up with something I would be unhappy with.
While my husband was shopping around for himself he came to your dealership and mentioned that I needed another car. Unbeknownst to me, he looked a few cars, found one he thought I would like and told me about it late Friday night. Then next thing I know he was waking me up Saturday morning telling me to get dressed so we can pick up the car. He can be quite impulsive at times, so I just went along with him. All the while knowing I would end up wasting my time, not liking any car available to me, and I still needed my car fixed. But I was very surprised when I got there. My husband had already spoken to Tem and told him I had to work later that afternoon. Everything was pretty ready when we got there. I took a test drive in the Impala I liked best. And by the time we got back, Tem was ready for us with the numbers. Not only did he explain and show me all the features, I didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. While I know it's his business to sell cars, it really didn't feel like it. More like being at a family BBQ. Everyone there was just very friendly and respectful. And while I didn't initially want to spend the amount I did, for the peace of mind I have now, it was definitely worth it. And my payments are still within my budget even without having to trade my vehicle or put any money down. I have a new, more safe and reliable vehicle with awesome features. I did not think it would be close to being possible. I'm absolutely loving my car and have told everyone I know about my experience here. Tem has been AWESOME throughout this whole process. He's a great guy and kind of wish I could trade some people I deal with regularly for him. It's like we received all the friendliness and one on one assistance you would expect to get from a small family run car lot while still getting all the benefits from dealing with a big dealership.

I called at the last minute for an oil change in the afternoon, and the lady who answered the service phone had me in 45 minutes later. The service took only about an hour from start to finish and I was on my way again.

Not only violated federal law in regards to treatment of a service animal but was deeply rude.i have bought 7 cars in 10 year from the vaden company and never expected this kind of treatment. 2 brand new in the last year aline.... will never do business with them again

Very nice people but will give you the run around for weeks. Bought a new Tahoe almost 2 months ago and it was missing the second key and fob. We were told several times it was ordered and they would FedEx it to us since we live out of state. Still no key and they still can't tell us why or what did or did not happen. Want be trading up with them when the time comes.

They just didn't take the time to find out where the car was. The sales staff told me that the car would be ready for me to see on the appointed time. It wasn't.

Poor customer service a lady walked up to me and told me I had to walk up to one of the service Tech to be greeted I thought you were supposed to be greeted when you walking in a place of business they act like I was invisible went I when in there to get my truck serviced for a wheel alignment went i when back to pick up my truck today I was invisible again no one greeted me not even the man Who helped me they say my truck was completed and I was good to go soon as I took my car on Abercorn Road going 20 miles per hour I took my hands off the wheels to check my wheel alignment my truck immediately pull to the left i took my truck back to the dealership i told the young guy what was going on he was very nice and polite he was a service tech he got in my truck I got in with him he took it on Abercorn Road and it started pulling again i brought my truck back to the dealership to get it check out again sit for an hour and a half no one ever offered me nothing to drink or anything and when he said it was completed me and the tech got to my truck same thing happen again even worse I'm sorry tgat I even brought my truck back there now my truck is worse than what it came in I live in a whole nother State and I was on my way home tomorrow and can't take my truck home I need to get a rental car more unnecessary money I have to spend this dealership have poor service plus poor customer service I would never recommend nobody here

Price match on tires.. I found a cheaper price at Walmart.The sale person call me and said . The Manger said they can't give me the tires for that price. I have to pay the regular price. First thing I said was , that I don't want the 2 tires. My wife was sitting at the table with me eating at a restaurant..She said that's not right they said they price match. So we left the restaurant to go get my truck. On the way back my wife pulled up Vaden website.. We Price Match guaranteed .. When we arrive at Dan Vaden Chevrolet.. I walked inside and ask to talk to a Manager. 25 minutes later, he said give me the tires for the cheapest price..So I said think you , and call me when my truck is ready...One hour later , the sale person call me and said it will be tomorrow after 2:00 pm before they can get the tires from their Warehouse.. Went to pick up my truck . I talked to another sale person .. I told him I cannot come back tomorrow . I have to work tomorrow, but order the tires so I can come back. On my next day off.. He said you will have to pay for them up front. I said no problem .My Lunch . My Day is going to waste.. Need to do Better..

Dan Vaden Chevrolet was not my first stop in this process. I had gone to another dealer but felt that the sales person was trying to push into a car on the lot rather than what I wanted. From the moment I arrived at Dan Vaden, salesperson Brent Kean took great care to listen to what I was seeking -- even amid my frustration & grief following the total loss of my Pontiac (Savannah drivers!!!). Brent had an easy going approach that was filled with respect for my wishes. He found a car that was a perfect match at one of the other Vaden dealerships and had it on the Savannah lot within 36 hours. I cannot speak strongly or highly enough on what a great job Brent did. He has followed up with me regularly, but not been annoying. For a guy new to car sales, he is a keeper!

As someone who benefits from Preferred Pricing, many a salesman have been less than helpful when learning that fact. Perhaps their commission isn't worth the effort ... I don't know. But EVERYONE I dealt with at Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Savannah acted like I was the single most important person ever. This was obvious in the culture of the dealership -- you see it at everywhere.

I'm new to the Savannah area, and Vaden has made me a forever customer. I will speak openly and loudly about the great service received. Thank you so very much for making an emergency purchase so pleasant!

I m never one to write a review so this tells you how garbage the service is at Vaden Savannah. I have had not one but two vehicles serviced here and EVERY time they make it painful. They are the slowest and most rude people I ve ever delt with and I m in the sales business. I made the mistake of purchasing a car from here. When purchased they doctored up the paperwork to say they gave it a full inspection. Four days later both rear tires blew out on 95 during rush hour because the car NEVER was aligned. They wouldn t pay for the new tires until my husband threatened to inform the Better Business Bureau. Recently when my Cadillac was in a collision.... the prompt and helpful collision center had no choice but to bring it to Vaden for the airbags/seatbelt to be replaced. You would think since I purchased the vehicle here they would put care into the service. Yet instead my car has been in their shop sitting for a month now and they can never give an answer to my collision repair man as to why they are being lazy. Still without a carand my collision company is as furious as I am. Under NO circumstances should you bring a car of any sort here. I ve never felt so passionate about how much a business screws over their customers and doesn t care about the results. Sadly the results of their carelessness can result in someone getting seriously hurt. STAY AWAY!! Please.

My 2014 Cadillac CTS VS has a rough idle, i.e., misfire at startup. The misfire causes the vehicle to jerk when backing out of my garage. Cadillac Bulletin PIP419E states this is a normal condition. Rough idle remains at ambient temperature. If this condition was present in the beginning I would not have bought the vehicle. I would like to have a meeting with the District Manager, After Sales. Vaden is OUTSTANDING Cadillac is NOT!

Slowest service of any dealership I have ever encountered. Had to replace my battery, took them from one morning to the next. Made an appointment for oil change, added wiper blades and tire rotation, and still waiting after an hour and a half...being told that's how long it takes...like I've never had these services done before, and tried to sell me on more service. Never bringing my vehicle back.

The worst car buying experience I have ever been a...

The worst car buying experience I have ever been a part of, I arrived to look at a truck that was marked as still available on the online inventory and was even called to setup a time to look at this vehicle. Upon arriving the vehicle was sold, I took interest into a brand new vehicle on the lot. Which I eventually committed to buying, spent about 5 hours in a salesman office while we debated back and forth on vehicles/pricing. Once I finally pulled the gun I signed all of my financing paperwork on a vehicle then told it would be ready after all of the paperwork, sat in the office for another hour just to be told that the mechanic had the lug nut key locked away so I left empty handed and was told to come back first thing in the morning. I arrived in the afternoon and was knocked blind sided with news that the vehicle I SIGNED/BOUGHT had aftermarket suspension on it so the salesman asked for $1500 more dollars on the spot or else I had to cancel my sale and buy another vehicle. I refused to pay and decided on another vehicle, spent another hour or two while they prepared the paperwork and was on my way. Fast forward a month later, I decided I wanted to cancel my Ally VSC sold by the dealership. I called Ally and was told I had to get it signed from a rep from Dan Vaden, arrived in person and gave it to a manager to be told it will be signed then faxed over to Ally. Two weeks later I call Ally to check up on it and received news that nothing was ever faxed, I tried called Dan Vaden on multiple occasions on the matter but every-time I was transferred to someone who would help me I ended up with the same excuse that I would have to leave a voicemail because they were unable to get a hold of a manager or he/she was out of the office. On my SECOND attempt on getting this VSC cancelled I decided to pay another in-person visit to the dealership to cancel it, got everything signed and was promised it would be faxed to Ally that very day. Today I call Ally to check up on the cancellation, what do you know? It's still active and Ally hasn't received ANYTHING regarding to a cancellation from Dan Vaden, I called up there and was forwarded to a manager who seems to be never in his office. Left a voice mail. Seriously? I have been trying to get this cancellation processed for over a month now and already passed the 60-day limit on getting a full refund for it, now I am losing money on this VSC because Dan Vaden's giving me the round about on doing something as simple as faxing a cancellation. Thanks a lot! 30+ days later and I am still trying to get this done, what a joke. If it takes this long to get something as simple as this done I would hate to know how long it would take to have a serious issue taken care of.

So this morning I was supposed to be dropping off my car and going straight to an appointment and I told them that and was told that was not an issue at all, that I would be able to leave straight away, come to find out they couldn't let me leave because they didn't have a way for me to get around like I was promised, now I'm stuck sitting around waiting all day for an opening because they made me miss my appointment elsewhere, the worst part is that they were just fine with the fact that they were making me miss my other appointments. If I could give them less than one star I would after how they treated me today

I had a factory recall on the keys for my Chevy and when I arrived to the service department, they explained to me that all they had to do was glue some more plastic around the key. They said it would take at most an hour to finish and set the glue so we decided to wait in the waiting room. It took three hours.
Thank god I had nothing to do except have them waste my day away over nothing and then not give me an explanation why it took so long. And halfway through my wait, one of the managers offered to sell me an extended warranty. Seriously? I'd rather drive a half hour away then deal with Vaden's terrible service again. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

When I contacted the dealership about our problem...

When I contacted the dealership about our problem with the car they didn't hesitate to help us. They explained what they were looking to do and they put us in a 2018 loaner for 2 weeks while they worked on the car. We did not have to pay for the repairs because of a special program that General Motors had in place for this particular problem. We were not aware of that program. Before completing the job, they contacted us to make recommendations for additional repairs. They detailed our car before returning it to us.

Took our 1500 express van in to get the fuel pump replaced. Took 3 days. Cost me 1100 dollars. Things in my organized van was dumped out. Which make me question the quality of work. In addition to my earlier complaints. My driver side window is broke. How on God green earth . Does a fuel pump repair. Involve a driver side window replacement. I would not suggest this dealership for any repairs.

I'm not satisfied with the service department at this location, I'm going to try the Pooler location next time. This is the second time I come to this location in Savannah and I feel like a waste of my time. The first time I took my new 2020 truck there and they could not work on the issue with the truck and they made me make an appointment and I was told that I was going to get a rental so I can use for the inconvenience, on this second time, not only could they not fix the problem with my new vehicle but I had to wait all day in the car dealer waiting room from 9:00am until almost 5:30pm, lose a day from work to be told that I had to reschedule for another day because they could not fix it at this time and they needed more time.

To be honest, it was a lot better than I had expected. I started with Bill James on line and he reached out just enough times to keep me interested in what I was looking for and even a few outside my parameters than what we were looking for. We went back and forth for a few weeks until he found something we thought was worth going in. (this is the part my wife hates). But sitting with Bill and talking with him in person made you feel he was on your side from the start, no pressure, answered any questions we had, did not try to sell us the vehicle, he let it sell itself. It really was a great experience, wife even made that comment when we got home, we are happy with what we paid, we only hope the service department is as great as the front. Fingers crossed. Thank you Bill, we will be recommending you in the future!

This is the second time I ve tried to use the serv...

This is the second time I ve tried to use the service department at this dealership. Both times they seem to overbook their appointments. I waited almost 40 minutes to check in for my scheduled appointment. This time I actually walked out. After making an appointment a week ago, they tell me it will probably be 6-7 hours. This makes the vehicle not ready before they close and I would have to probably wait until Monday to get my vehicle back since they are closed on Sunday. They don t do loaner vehicles. I have been using Chevrolet for years in many states. This is by far the worse experience I ve ever had. Worst of all they don t seem to care.
