Crowne Plaza Milan Review

Beautiful and very comfortable hotel in a strategic position in Milan. Close to Central Station (reachable on foot), the yellow metro station (the one that goes to the cathedral and the surroundings) right outside the hotel, Piazza gae aulenti, vertical forest and library of trees within walking distance.
Lenstanze are very comfortable and equipped with everything: bathrobe, slippers, top quality bathroom products, kettle for coffee, tea and herbal teas, iron and ironing board. Excellent breakfast and complete with everything (sweet, salty, hot, cold, juices etc). Restaurant a little expensive but also very good and with dishes presented very well. Gym (small) on the 9th floor bright and with beautiful views. Sauna and turkish bath and guest disposal (free of charge). Very nice and 'awake' staff.

Elegant, clean hotel where friendliness, kindness and professionalism are not lacking. I did a 3 days meeting. and my opinion is certainly good ....... Congratulations ....

A slightly retro hotel but with a fully functional gym and sauna. Metro right outside the entrance and walking distance to many restaurants. However a good solution.

Excellent hotel near Milan station (and metro). Well connected, large rooms, spotlessly clean, with many comforts and excellent and plentiful breakfast and attentive to all food problems.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, sometime it seems that some are unsure with their English language skills. The restaurant serves very good Italian food and drinks and servers are very polite.

Very convenient hotel for Milan city center, especially if you arrive by train. Metro stop practically under the hotel. Excellent rooms super comfortable and internal quality restaurant. Even the breakfasts are super and great product variety.

I like crowne plaza's. The rooms here are very typical of European hotels. No frills. Good restaurants close by. Not much in the way of dining as far as I saw. But it was a quick overnight and a chance to see something of Milan whilst there.

Well connected hotel to grand central station. The room a bit small but I guess this is Europe standard.

My Louis Vuitton wallet with several bank cards and UK Driving Licence got stolen from the hotel room. It was inside an unlocked suitcase. The hotel said they were totally sure their employees knew nothing about it! Basically they implied either I had forgotten and had taken the wallet with me outside and it got stolen in the city, or I was simply lying.
We went to the Police at around 9 PM and enquired whether we will get food when we returned. We were told the bar would be open. We returned just after midnight and were told the kitchen is now closed and no food is available. We went to sleep hungry.
Completely unexpected and devastating experience at a hotel of such repute. My husband is an IHG member and we are now considering to never stay at Crown Plaza Hotels ever again.

Good things .. near the metro station and the stuff was great and helpful

Needs improvement .. size of the room was too small .. the breakfast menu not changing everyday the same .. and you can't order omlate for free it's changeable

Points that need improvement .. The rooms are very narrow .. The breakfast is not renewed, and fried eggs cannot be ordered the way you want for free. Either you have to eat what is in the buffet or pay for anything else .. A bit far from the Domo

Nice hotel, but our bedroom was a bit small. The breakfast is really good and the staff is friendly. A major perk is the metro station that is just outside and underneath the hotel.

This is a nice, centrally located hotel with some nice views, friendly staff and nice rooms. What I didn t like so much was the paper thin walls/doors. I could hear everyone coming in/going out at all hours of day/night. Goodbye sleep. Otherwise a great experience and good value for $.

We were well received on our arrival. The hotel is great location. There is a subway stop right at the feet of this one. The bus stop to the airport is 10 minutes away. The hotel room is very comfortable, a bit small. The wifi works well (free). The breakfast is excellent and hearty (At will, scrambled eggs, raw / hot meats, pastries, fruit juice, various breads, fresh fruit, ...). To recommend :-)

Best value for money. Located on the train station,15 minutes ride to the Domu .

We stayed on an 8th floor suite and it was like we expected. Breakfast is good, but the room is very small for the size of the hotel. Also the restaurant and bar are tiny. The restaurant food is good and the overall service very professional. Good amount of elevators, so you are never waiting for more than a few seconds. The location is brilliant with walking distance from the train station and a metro station on the door step of the hotel entrance. We haven't tried it but there's also saunas and gym on the last floor. But better value for money than an overly priced Airbnb joint in the area.

Nice hotel overall. One thing that was a bit odd is that the lights make ticking sounds after they are turned off for about 15 minutes, seemingly while they cool down. A little annoying when trying to fall asleep.

Rather standard city hotel with smaller size rooms and an average service for a four star hotel.

Great location on top of metro. Rooms are fine - old but clean. Most interestingly, they put us on 9th floor only to realize at 9pm that this place allows pets. We learned that as we listened to a dog losing its mind barking in room next door, as my neighbor and I tried our best to explain to the front desk thy had to do seonthing about it beyond just call guest and ask them to come back for their poor scared pet. Disappointing service and weird policy.

I liked this hotel as just felt sexi being there. Also very convenient to the metro with entrance literally right out the front door...

Wonderful hotel! It s connected to the subway outside the front door and the train station is a few blocks away. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, staff were helpful on recommendations on where to eat and see around the city.

Very convenient when you arrive. Few minutes walk from Central Train Station. Metro stop right in front of entrance. Nice rooms, bathrooms, amenities and restaurants. Small fitness center and sauna. Friendly staff. Breakfast is good but a bit expensive. Great soundproofing. Little outside sitting area.

Parking spaces directly in the backyard, video-monitored and locked. Underground station directly under the hotel and 7 minutes straight to the square in front of the Milan Cathedral.
