I took my hotel school students to visit. Bellissim structure, excellent staff. Director and head of reception of maximum availability and courtesy. Both me and the boys were very happy with our visit. Recommended for those who want to stay in central Milan. Easily accessible by metro right in front of the hotel.

For our city trip it was an excellent choice. The hotel is not far from the center and has a bar and a spacious lounge as well as great room service. The rooms as well as the hotel are very modern designed. In the backyard is the hotel's own parking lot which is also monitored. The rooms are very clean and the staff extremely friendly. Price / performance was great and the breakfast buffet was for a 4 star hotel in Italy very lush. Milan again? - Then back here!

This is a decent hotel not to far from Central station. The standard room is not huge but very comfortable. The bathroom is very good with lot of space. The breakfast selection is very good and worth the price. Gym is very limited but if you like doing only doing cardio you will be fine. The restaurant is surprisingly good. The metro is basically under the hotel so can t be closer making it easy to visit Milan.

Lives up to expectations of a Crowne Plaza hotel. Rooms are good and hotel facilities up to the expected standard. Restaurants and bar are pretty nice, breakfast good, and the fitness centre small but functional and adequate. Location is a little out of the centre, but the subway is immediately accessible, and the central station a short walk away. I'd happily stay again.
In a moment of need (due to a road accident that saw us stranded in the middle of Milan) this hotel allowed us to book a room immediately and provided us with all the necessary assistance. We can therefore say that it is a very comfortable, very clean hotel, with many comforts such as an abundant international breakfast. We thank all the staff for their availability.
Space dedicated to meeting very small rom, but sufficiently viable. I have not stayed but some colleagues who have done so have told me that the rooms are a bit small based on the hotel's level structure. Very convenient location for the metro stop and the railway line and for relaxing with my "vices".

I was not overly impressed with the Milan City Crowne Plaza hotel.
Certainly It s better than most hotels I have recently stayed in but, it s just got no atmosphere, no soul .
Whilst the check in with Laura went very smoothly I was not afforded the usual platinum member upgrade but was given an additional 600 bonus points instead.
Mmmm... I guess I shouldn t complain at that.
The room was well appointed but not at all peaceful as it was below the gym and all I could hear during the daytime and early evening was the noise of people using the treadmill and other gym equipment above my room.
I had a long morning and wanted to eat lunch in the restaurant after I checked in.
I could not get access to the WiFi on my IPHONE in my room and so after half an trying I sought help from the front desk and they resolved the problem straight away!
Then I went into the restaurant which is pretty pricey but alas, I stood around inside the restaurant for over 15 minutes without anybody at all coming to give me service.
There was one other guest at one of the tables using his computer and also eating in restaurant at 13.15 when I arrived for lunch.
I did bring this to the attention of Laura at the front desk who apologized but, did nothing else about it for example, go and find out why there was nobody to give guests service in the restaurant.
My overall opinion is that this hotel is whilst the location is not bad with easy access to the Metro a few steps from the front door of the hotel, it s not deserving of a better rating from me due to its lacking of attention to customer service which is imperative for the what guests expect from the Crowne Plaza Brand of IHG.

Superb service from this hotel. We were checked in early, had our room upgraded, and were well taken care of for our entire stay. The junior suite was luxurious, comfortable, and impeccable.
Excellent Location near the central train station (only 5-10 mins walk), and the metro station, bus station are right next to the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room decor and bathroom are nice too.
However, the room rate make me confused, there is extra person charge, from the second person, it cost 20-30 per night in Jan 2018. The staff explained to us nicely but I m not very happy with the management term and conditions. There is only one bottle of water in room, which make the extra person charge more ridiculous. And I didn t have my water and tea replacement in one night out of four nights. Reminder : 5 city tax per person .
Overall it s very good location and nice stay.

Worthy of the Crowne chain, a welcoming and clean hotel, easy to reach even on foot from the central station (and this can and cannot be an advantage) offers all the comforts of a large hotel. Metro station attached to the entrance, this offers comfort to those who use it for work but also for vacation.

I'm a (nerd) software developer and I'm guest of IHG mostly because my job. I assert vigorously I'm more creative if I code in luxury. This hotel has a touch if luxury and class other hotels of this class hasn't. I appreciated the immaculate cleaness if the room, the quietness, the internet speed, and - after I finished to code a prototype at 2AM - the comfort of the bed too. The breakfast buffet you shouldn't miss. I tell you a secret: the croissant filled with custard and warm, they are pure hedonism.
Structure in an almost central position, very well connected by public transport (at the exit of the hotel there is the metro stop). Very friendly and helpful staff. Luxurious environment. Small but cozy meeting room equipped with three screens.

A very convenient located hotel in Milan City. It is very near to the Milan Central Train Station. Less than 5 mins walk away. So if you wish to go to Milan Malpensa Airport, you have the option of either taking the Bus ( 10) or Malpensa Express Train ( 13).
The metro station is also just below the hotel, so you can reach most part of Milan easily.
The room is new and the amenity is also good.
The only complaint I have is their breakfast. The place is so tiny, if there is crowd they would find hard to handle the increased number of people.

The service was excellent and friendly. Precise but not formal. Discreet presentation and menu with interesting dishes. Good products. Not impressed but ok.
Amazing staff, nice clean rooms, great breakfast, very good sauna.
In detail (including first world problems):
- Modern, comfortable hotel, extremely friendly / helpful hotel staff.
- Rooms extremely comfortable, but slightly worn and not in excellent condition any more, but overall very good.
- Breakfast was very good, fresh fruits, but no real bread, no fresh waffles / omelets / pancakes, champagne available but orange juice was not good. Very good hot beverages though.
- Sauna was very(!) hot, really liked it, opened until 10:30 pm (sharp), but there were no essential oils available for infusion, no real relaxation area.
- Fitness area was very small, no weight machines and only baby weights. Classical Christmas songs are not the best workout motivation. ^^

Stayed here for a short break in Milan and it was amazing. The staff were friendly, and were always ready to help 24/7. Although the breakfast buffet was unavailable due to COVID, our waitress did not hesitate in taking our orders and bringing us whatever we needed no matter how many times we asked!! And it was freshly made upon request! Breakfast was amazing, the best!! And the view was spectacular, could have not been better honestly. It s in a great location 8 minutes metro from city centre and the train station is less than a minute walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay again
I use the restaurant part for lunch. Good quality and service
The hotel is clean and really nice, the beds are a little hard and the cushions a little too big. Level parking spaces they have parking but it's 20 euros per day, there are places in blue zone right next to the hotel (from 8h to 19h to 2euros per hour) so if you arrive on Saturday evening to leave on Monday morning for example it's better to leave it on the street and that they hide it well to tell you at the reception. For the breakfast buffet there is a choice but the fruits are not ripe. Personal level, friendly, smiling, nothing to say. There is a metro entrance just outside the hotel, very convenient
The good things it is located next to the metro stations. the Lady in the reception was unqualified. There is a bad smell also they are using a lot of chemicals for cleaning the rooms and corridor. The breakfast was ordinary. The bathroom was uncomfortable. The air condition was does not work well. The bed and the sheet were very comfortable .
Convenient location right above Sondrio subway station, guests staying here gets a sleep pack containing a relaxing aroma roll on and a linen spray during turndown service which is a nice touch.
I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for an event in Milan. The hotel is fantastic, there is care and foresight in every corner, spacious, comfortable and strapulite rooms. Excellent restaurant, refined and starry, with delicious and tasty dishes. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff. The proximity of the underground stop "Sondrio" is good for all hotel guests. If I return to Milan I will certainly be a guest of the fantastic Crowne Plaza Milan.
The location is great, the rooms are nice and the breakfast offers tasty options (although a bit pricey). The main issue here is the service. Staff are helpful but it can be difficult to communicate (especially in English). Please do not order any pizza from room service after 22:30. Sincerely the worst pizza we have ever had (in Italy of all places!).
