Gerald was my service coordinator and he did a great job. Exactly how someone wants to be treated when they get their car serviced. I called to make an appointment and he assisted me with finding s time that worked for me and required the least amount of wait time. I stayed while the service was performed and he came back several times to inform me of the progress. It was probably the most pleasant experience ever in a service department.

We returned to Crown (third time) to purchase another Honda. Our sales representative, Jonathan Kieffer, was extremely professional and took a great amount of time to show us various models. I called thrice to find out if they can give me some information about my car service. Each time, my name, email, and phone number were taken saying they will get back but I'm waiting for a week and still no one bothers to send me the information. Everytime I go to get the car serviced it takes a minimum of 4 hours. This is getting ridiculous. I don't have that much time to waste. I wish we got our vehicle in a different make, where the service was better. I am fed with this running around and then the waiting...

Skip the rest and go with the best.... all Honda Dealers have the same cars....the difference with Southpoint Honda has to be its people.... Giovanni was great, he listened to what I was willing to pay from the begining.. he worked his boss to death until we had a deal... I got the same car for less money and was not offended like in Burlington or like in Greensboro where I had purchased my previous Honda back in 09 where aftermaking my first offer the sales person went and got his manager to tell me if I can find that car for that price to tell him so he can come and buy some.... Like I said the cars are the same the diffence is the people and the bottom line prices.... love my 13 Accord Sport

I went in for a passenger airbag recall. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Honda said it should take an hour. Crown said two. I was there right at two hours. When I got back in the car, I could see the plastic of the dashboard wasn't lining up very well and there seemed to be a lot more scratches on it. I felt around the back and there was a half inch gap where the plastic didn't meet. I took it back in and pointed it out to them. It took another 25 minutes for them to fix it and it seemed like there were more scratches around the edges.

My family has been going to this location for over...

My family has been going to this location for over 20years. Ilthis has been my primary location to take my vehicle and until this past weekend has been a generally good experience. However this past weekend made me reconsider this location. I understand businesses are not perfect but when a car is rushed (trash left in vehicle, things forgotten in service) I have a problem.
I left my vehicle Friday for a standard 50,000 mile maintenance. This was done and of course there were additional services that needed to be met. I obliged, and picked up my car late Saturday afternoon. Included in my service was getting two new tires applied to my vehicle and of course with the 15 Honda Civic the computer needed programming. This was not done and I did not see a big deal about it at first as I brought back my vehicle and they assured me that it was fixed. however it was not fixed as later on that night my TPMS malfunction signal kept going off and so I tried to reset it myself three times that night. This was unsuccessful and so I brought back my car yet again to Honda dropped it off for it to be looked at Sunday.
well of course is open to another slew of things that all of a sudden need to be done on my car including the transmission fluid which should have been mentioned to me the previous day as they had just done my brake fluid. another nice surprise of course was that the dipstick was all the sudden missing for my transmission. I wouldn't even know where to look for the transmission dipstick so this is impossible as I only bring it to Honda for service since I got my car in 2016. I was assured that everything was resolved with the TPMS and the dipstick would be replaced at no cost to me as I agreed to the transmission fluid being done as well. $800 later and I pick up my car from all of the service I received this weekend only to see a curious $17 "shop supplies" charge on my bill which I can only assume is for the dipstick that I was told I would not be paying for. I asked the woman at the counter when I was paying with this would be and she told me not to worry about it. At this point I was very frustrated and decided not to raise a fuss, thus paying the bill in full and was off to find my car in the lot. After about 20 minutes of driving my car the TPMS signal went off yet again. I have contacted Honda and left a voicemail and have yet to receive a response. I am extremely unhappy as one sn'could figure from this long review, and hope they will be contacting me soon.

I have been bringing my Honda(s) here for service since 2013, and I simply would not trust anyone else with my vehicle! Michael Brosnick is my service adviser, and he has always provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at a dealership!

The people of Crown Honda were great. I worked with Eric as they tried to replicate my issue with my Ridgeline and he was awesome at going through the options. There does need to be a way for Crown to test issues for people that tow and haul with their vehicles though. If you sell a car with a trailer hitch, you should expect that some issues may only arise when using all the options.

I went in for a routine oil change and was greeted by Demorio, who was super friendly and courteous, to get all settled with what I wanted done at the shop. Of course, when you bring your car in for an oil change they do a standard check to make sure all the bells and whistles are running smoothly. I was informed of certain things that needed some attention as well as being presented with the cost of said repairs. I wasn t pressured or hassled into anything which is always a plus. They tell you what they find and leave the rest to you. Another thing I really appreciated is that they not only tell you what they find but they also let you know which things can wait a bit to be fixed and which things need immediate attention. The service I get at this shop is always amazing and Demorio made it all the better with his warm personality and being informative on what was going on with my vehicle. I ve had my run-ins with sketchy car repair shops but Crown Honda is the only place I ll trust my car with. I ll be a lifelong customer, that s for sure!

Worst auto experience ever. NEVER had we had a sales associate get upset and insult us for ASKING question about the vehicle. we have purchased and visited many dealerships but never one as rude and unprofessional as HONDA of SOUTHPOINT of DURHAM of NC.
As a customer or potential customer your are allowed to ask questions regarding payments, price, etc... but as we ask the associate the questions he stopped us and quote his words if we were buying if not he was wasting his time aslo we were IRRITATING him by asking all the questions.

I hope they find new associates and train their entire staff as well no seemed to care or thought this was wrong. Do not buy or do business with these folks.

Found out a break light was out the night I left the lot, took it back the next day and they replaced it with no fuss! I would recommend them to anyone!

I was traveling to the area for a soccer tournament when my check engine light came on in my Honda Accord. I did not have an appointment yet the service department was able to take my car in on a busy Saturday, complete the necessary repair (replace an ignition coil) and it was all done within a few hours. The service department rep Daniel S. was courteous, understanding and very helpful. Crown provided me excellent customer service and the peace of mind to make the four hour journey back home. He was reliable with follow-up contacts without ever seeming pushy. I began my search on the internet and finding the car I wanted, I asked them for an "out the door price." I asked them to add the two pieces of equipment I wanted and they promptly replied with a completed price list including everything. My previous experience in buying Hondas was tainted by the fact that the dealer had added lots of things (special undercoating, pin stripes, etc) that I did not want so I was afraid of this happening but this did not happen. When I arrived at the dealer they had the car I wanted, we took a test drive and the dealer explained everything about the car and we took as much time as I needed. The final sale price was exactly the same as I was quoted. I gave them a deposit and then they took less than a day to add the equipment I wanted (roof racks and trailer hitch. When I arrived the next day, everything was set and the final settled price was exactly the same as the internet quoted price (which by the way was thousands less than some some quotes. The salesperson showed me how to set up the car for me (he was great). The whole process could not have been better. In my lifetime, I have purchased many cars - by a long shot, this was the best experience.

I had been to Chicago on a brief trip for a concert and decided to just stay in the airport since i had an early flight. However, while I was asleep my bag with my c/cards, car keys , etc. were in it. Needless to say , I panicked. I was able to get back to Raleigh and had parked at a hotel . They graciously helped me with the situation. Honda provided a tow truck to Crown Honda. The problem was that I had no money, no nothing, to buy the key bob with that had to be programmed .Other than the time it took to do this , I was extremely pleased with the service. Regarding the time, they were having to work it in and I'm just thankful they had a key bob for my car. I would highly recommend Crown Honda of Southpoint and Eric , who was extremely helpful and patient with me.

Crown Honda Service Advisor, Mr. Sequorie T. Blackwell (alias Cory) did an excellent job to solve the problem that I encountered this week with my Honda Accord V6 Hybrid. The Hybrid Battery died last Sunday. Immediately I took the car to Crown Honda. Cory attended and told me that he needed to place an order for the battery and asked me to check with him on Monday. Accordingly, I went back on Monday. He told me that the battery had been ordered and he expected that it would arrive by Tuesday or Wednesday. On Tuesday evening he informed me that the battery had arrived. Accordingly I went back to him on Wednesday afternoon. He told me that the car would be ready withing three hours. As the car was ready, Honda shuttle service called and gave me ride to Crown Honda in time. As usual the car was washed. Cory received me and delivered the car to me. Price was competitive. I was impressed with the courteous and highly professional service that I received from Cory and others at Crown Honda. This type of service increases my confidence with Crown Honda. Please convey my appreciation to Cory for his highly professional and courteous service.

Horrible customer service and terrible prices for ...

Horrible customer service and terrible prices for the Service Department. I've been having issues with my Honda Sensing, and I knew it had to be looked at ASAP since my warranty was very close to expiring. I took the first available appointment on Christmas Eve. I specifically checked with the service advisor what time they would be closing (2pm), and confirmed that an 11am appointment would be fine. I scheduled my day around this appointment, including taking time off work to be there.

On the morning of the appointment, I got a call saying that they would not be able to see me, because "the work being done on my car would take too long." I asked 1) if this were the case, why I was allowed to make this appointment in the first place, and 2) what "work" they were talking about, because my appointment was just to run a diagnostic, not to perform any repairs. After speaking to the manager, they agreed to honor my appointment.

At the dealership, I was met by a brusque, borderline rude man. When I told him what I was there for, he sounded annoyed that I'd even come in, and said that they would not have time to work on the car. I again had to explain the situation and that I had been assured by the manager that they would see me today. The man made a phone call to check on my warranty, said the words "no, the car was not purchased from us," and hung up. He smugly said "it'll be $130 + tax for the diagnostic -- your warranty expired at midnight." If it ended up needing calibration, that would cost $400+. These prices seemed high to me, and at this point, I felt like Crown Honda really did not value me as a customer, so I left.

I ended up going to Autopark Honda in Cary, and the experience was like night and day. Everyone was polite and welcoming. The diagnostic there cost $75 (which they ended up not even charging me for, since it turned out to be a different issue entirely), and they quoted me $280 for calibration if needed. Not a word about my warranty that had expired hours earlier. I will never go to Crown Honda again.

Working with the people at Crown Honda was one of the most enjoyable experiences for my wife and I.

Jerrod Wynder, (our sales associate), and Cannon Forrest, (Jerrod's Manager), were both Professional, (with a winning personalities), and very Informative about the choices for which we were interested, without any added pressure, in reference to making a sale.

The way the paperwork was handled, after we made our decision, relieved both my wife and I of any stress, as to what we had to do, (in reference to contacting our insurance Company, Transferring Registration and all the other difficulties), usually associated with purchasing a new vehicle.

We received, (what we felt), was a very decent price, for our trade-in vehicle, without having to haggle.

If I could give more than five, (5), stars for a review, our experience would be well worth doing so.

Thank you Jerrod, Cannon and Crown Honda for your excellence in Customer Relations...!

They have not applied their "110% Price Protection...

They have not applied their "110% Price Protection Guarantee" assurance to me. It makes me doubt of their seriousness.

During the price negotiation, I found many cheaper offers by their competitors (same car model and options) which I forwarded by emails to the car sales representative. However he did not want to match the car price to those offers.

In my case, Crown Honda was the most expensive Honda dealership in a 200-mile-radius.

The primary reasons are first, the excellent, reliable and on-time service by longtime employees that we now know on sight and second, the quality and low-pressure, logical pricing of reliable Honda automobiles.

Spent the day working with Richard Powell to find my first vehicle and it was an absolute pleasure! I have been to copious dealerships in the last few weeks, and this was by far the best experience and most organized dealership of the bunch. Richard made the process so much fun and was super helpful every step of the way. Most people who know nothing about cars would bring a knowledgeable friend along, but being a new resident of NC, I didn't have that option. Working with Richard was like having that knowledgeable friend - he was transparent, kind, fun, and thorough in going over everything with me to make sure I understood what I was getting and what I would need. I also had the opportunity to work with Johnny Chan briefly, the financial services director. He knew exactly what he was doing, was able to get me through the paperwork promptly, and explained things to me when I needed clarification, all while carrying pleasant conversation along the way. 10/10 would recommend this dealership. They really took great care of me and I love my new car!

It is ridiculous having to wait almost 2 hours to get an oil change. Please stop overbooking or have some specifically assigned to changing oil while others do other tasks. The drive and the wait was not worth my choosing to come back from where I live.

The service personnel were friendly and attentive, they called me with updates, which I appreciated. When the tires were rotated, unfortunately the tire pressure Was reduced to 35 pounds. The tires are high-performance and rated at a maximum of 51 pounds I run them at 45 pounds. High-performance Low profile tires should not be run at a low tire pressure. The risk to rim damage increases exponentially. Additionally performance is greatly reduced.

Two parts to my experience.

Two parts to my experience.
Part 1, mechanical. The appointment for a routine 15 K service went smoothly. All services were carried out. The car was washed.
Part 2, courtesy transportation. Transportation to the Southpoint Mall was prompt and courteous. Transportation back to Crown Honda was disorganized and late. 30 minutes after our call to the dealership, we placed another call and were transferred three or four times to different numbers--all we wanted was transportation back--when we asked for a manager because we were getting frustrated, THEN we were finally told that the van had just left. Why not just give the driver's phone number to the customer and avoid all the confusing hassle? Other than the return transportation issue, all was fine.

My car was misdiagnosed on the causing of its shaking and I was charged $80 for nothing. After the dealer diagnosed the vehicle and said the cause was the steering rack, two other independent people looked at it and both said it was the tires. The tires were replaced and the shaking stopped. The dealer is NOT trustworthy and will lie about its services.

They don't schedule appointments for recall repairs. Took my car in at 930am. Their courtesy shuttle apparently stops running at 4pm so I had to come back to the dealership to wait in their waiting area. No estimated time from the service rep. Still waiting at 450pm. This is ridiculous. Whole day wasted. Next time I'll take my chances with the killer airbags.

I called Crown to have some needed work done in my vehicle. I was connected with Mr. Gerald Butler, he took the time to go over my estimate line item by line item. After revising to estimate, I was advised to bring the vehicle to service. I arrived and was greeted by Mr. Butler, he again made sure that I understood all of the work and the pricing for the repairs that were needed on my vehicle. He did not treat me like a woman with a car, he treated me like a family member! The time he took with me was so appreciated as I was already apprehensive about being out of the house during the Pandemic. He treated me fairly, and with respect. His kindness was and is greatly appreciated. I don't care if I need a windshield wiper, I will be asking for Gerald Butler when I go in for service!!

Worst service centre I have ever been to. Scheduled an appointment at 11:15. Got there on time for oil change. It took them 2.5 hours while they were not even busy and when they gave me my car, it was still unwashed, tire pressure was low

Dropped my car off the night before and filled out...

Dropped my car off the night before and filled out an after hours form. Had 2 recalls to get done but saw the $9.95 oil change special. Even wrote the price on the form.

Went to pick my car and they tried to play the switcheroo game as I am a woman. Said they had to do a full service synthetic blend change and would cost nearly $40.00.

The young kid kept repeating the same line over and over and insisted I pay the much higher price.

I explained each time that no one called or texted to get authorization for the change and that I refused to pay the higher price. After well over 5 minutes of him repeating himself and staring me down, he finally gave in.

DO NOT EVER GO THERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN!!!!

My Experience at CROWN Honda of Southpoint, it is as follows:

Last Friday, 07/22/16, I was driving from downtown Durham on 147/40 West on my way to Wells Fargo Bank at the Woodcraft Store. It was 5:50pm. . I was exiting on 174. Suddenly, the yellow/orange wrench with a message: 15 % Oil Change! I said: OH NO! OHhNO! - what am I going to do. Do I go to the BanK OR Do I go the Crown Shop. Think Fast Ana....uh...So, I decided the CRV is more important. I went to the Crown Shop and I talked to the Service MGR. He said: Yes, ma'am we can change the oil for you and they did right there, at that moment. In addition, they rotated the tires, the put the parts, the did multi inspections, performed courtesy clean and the whole thing was free of charge. It was the first visit after I purchased the car last Dec. I felt so good! I do not remember having an experience like this before. This people know how to treat their customers.
