My 7 year old granddaughter participated in the Junior Reptile Ranger Program. Highly recommend any child taking part. The two Rangers were wonderful as they engaged with the children sharing information.

It is a small venue and worth the visit. If you decide to visit I would suggest take your time and enjoy this venue for what it is. Crocodiles galore with the opportunity to dive in via plexiglass tank.

Went into the Crocosaurus with a gut feeling that it likely wasn't an appropriate environment for such large animals.

The size of the enclosures and layout were far worse than expected. Considering that the largest crocodiles are over 5m long, they only had a few meters to walk and swim around in. Furthermore, the younger small crocodiles were jam packed into small enclosures virtually sitting on top of each other due to the limited space. A small crocodile had its jaws taped closed and used a prop for photo taking while it thrashed around.

We left with a strong sense of sadness and sympathy for the abused animals. Do not make the mistake we made by attending and go see these beautiful creatures in their home in the wild.

The set up of the overall place is good. Well air-conditioned spots. Unfortunately the reptile house had reptiles that looked stressed, and under fed. Their enclosures looked too small for certain species, and they seemed stressed by the presence of visitors being loud, and hitting the glass.
I'm almost convinced that they don't have one-way windows. Their skins hadn't shed cleanly, so I'm skeptical about their overall living conditions.

Took my daughters for a quick visit on our last day in Darwin, wish we could have stayed longer.. didn t expect there to be so much to see.....
My girls loved holding fluffy the baby croc and really loved the turtle talk as they got to touch them, special thanks to alysha for being patient with my daughters and taking us to see the baby turtles
Awesome place !

it is so expensive & the exhibit where you get your photos taken with the baby croc is discusting as they keep the poor croc in a shut cupboard (so in humane) I don't belive that the crocs are very happy at all as they are in small surroundings & really should be left in their own habitat. it was a total waste of money & yes it is just to rip tourists off, if you really want to see something way better & less expensive go to Territory Wildlife park it is well worth the money & it is a great day out, not just an hour out of your day.

A must place to visit, to appreciate the enormous size of these mystical creatures. Having said that I do feel sorry that they are no longer in the wild.
Good interaction session with snakes and lizards as well as fish feeding. Can get a cheep beer as well, great when it's hot.

3 stars because the place it self needs an uplift relatively small, expected more for the what we paid, but still it is a different experience than the zoo. Also, I had to go to the entry reception to get some cold drinks because the other drink cooler are empty.
I would rate the keepers there 5 stars because 2 of them ( sorry forgot the names) they were very informative and very engaging and caught the kids attention to listen to them, thank you for the infos shared .
Overall experience is good and worth for a first time visitor.

When I first walked up to the front counter on the side of the street I didn't think it would be very big. But I have heard good reviews so I paid and entred. Crocosaurus Cove is a great place to take the family. My young children loved loved everything. The crocodile feeding and interactive shows. There is a reptile section with lots of varieties of snakes and lizards. The food was well presented and a fair price. Colouring book and crayons come with the kids meals! Always a hit in my family.

This was an absolutly amazing experience. There are various facilities with Crocodiles of various ages. Throughout the day there are events educating the public to Crocodiles, and you also get the chhance to see them being fed. Then there is the Cage of Death. Up to 2 persons go into a capsule which is 4" thick, and designed in such a way that Crocodiles cannot bite onto it. The cage is positioned with a Mono-Rail above, and gently lowers you into the water containing 1 or 2 Crocodiles up tp 5m in length. As the cage enters the water, it floods, to enable you to put your mask on and go under water to see the Crocodile up close and personal. Naturally you are free to surface for air anytime you want as the cage isn't fully submerged. You can also opt to have your photos taken for an additional fee. I didn't want it to end. There are also good public toilets and a nice cafe type resturaunt. Finally there is a great gift shop on your way out.

Penny the general manager graciously showed us round their excellent facility and introduced us to a number of their staff who specialise in the reptiles and lizards and the crocs.

We were happily surprised visiting Crocosaurus Cove, pay attention to the feeding hours and talks, they are worth it! All terraria were clean, absolutly recommend it (you can find 4AUD more cheaper tickets at one of the stores 200 meter further down the street)

My son and I come here regularly and it never gets boring. Very large reptile display and metre plus barra. Crocs are huge and on a good day put on an awesome display in the cage of death. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Small cafe, clean toilets and souvenir shop. Highly recommend it for anyone who comes to darwin.

Exhibition is good. Cage of Death is very expensive for a very short time for immobile crocs. Staff is polite at best, but makes you feel like you are just another tourist with money. Offer for photo taken during Cage of Death is a total ripoff.

If you REALLY have to swim with crocs, try to find out what's the best time to do it when they actually move. Or better yet find another place who really care about your and the animal's experience.

Came through a couple of days ago.. pricing was a bit expensive but I guess there is a lot of reptiles and shows to see. I really enjoyed watching the cage of death but u would never see me in there, TOO SCARY!! MOST of the staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable, however there was 1 zookeeper who spoke to my mother and I and other staff members with a very rude tone (not sure of name but I noted that she had blonde hair).. she seemed like she did not want to be there at all and it almost had the same effect on us. Other than, we had a good time and facilities were very clean which I like

It costs around $30 to get in. I spent about that much for the Territory Wildlife Park where I felt I saw so much more. Crocosaurus Cove was okay... but it s definitely much nicer seeing animals in their natural habitat.

Such a great place to visit with kids! Loved the whole experience. We spent about 2 hours with kids 6 and 7. Very interactive and informative. Lots of shows every 30mins or so. Great staff! Kids got to cuddle a croc, hold a snake and lizard and swim (next to) the crocs.

This was a great experience! My goodness those crocs are huge. I loved the displays and talks that happen throughout the day. We were here for a hour or so and would definitely go back another time.

Sad I didn't get the opportunity to go do the croc cage, but watching other people do it looked crazy scary and awesome!

If you get the chance, go see this!

Really interesting and unique experience to be in the same water as a 5 meter long crocodile and being able to literally count every single one of his teeth. The rest of the park also gives you the opportunity to watch, hold and feed small crocodiles.

Good experience,
Was a little overpriced - but something you don't see everyday.
Would recommend.

Well set out, very interesting and staff knowledgable and able to educate about crocodiles , good reptile display too. Clean and well kept venue. Enjoyed the visit! Surprized to find it in one of Darwin's main streets too!

Always loved this place as a visit, and after attending a function there I was utterly enchanted. Imagine a sit-down function, while a giant croc is being fed right behind the speaker's lectern. What a great place.
