3 pools with differently hot pools. View is nice, but not breathtaking. At least to me it felt there was a lot of chlorine in the water.

We came here because we had really bad weather one day. Well, it's just way too expensive for what you get. There isn't really an area where you can sit down in between. That means there is really nothing else to do than sit in the water. I would not go here anymore!

Hugely enjoyed our visit here, recommend the starlight night time one, soak in hot pools, look at the stars through telescopes and be entertained by Maori mythology stories told by one of the hosts. Had earlier enjoyed a nice coffee and lunch, returned again for a skate on the ice rink!

We paid for an hour tubing. However, we got half an hour! We were in line and once we reached the front we got told to go back to reception because they didnt write our time on wrist bands. We were basically running around with 6 kids back to reception just to get asked who served us and send us back with still no time written and to start again at a very long queue. We were told we were going to get couple more rides which didnt happen. Very disappointed and waste of $$ as there were 8 of us.

It's a very good recreational area for a family where parents can enjoy the view of mountain in a hot water pools while children can do ice skate as well as falls and enjoy.
There we have cafe as well where you can have sandwiches or subs or cakes.
A beautiful place to spent a day.

Another NZ icon place you should visit whilst in Tekapo

Good place to relax in hotpools. Only problem is there is only one family change room, with no shower, mirror an not alot of hooks around the room.

Pools were really shallow so hard to sit with shoulders under water to keep warm in cold weather but otherwise clean and tidy. Kids pool closed when visited.

Pretty expensive considering what it is. Also, too many kids being raucous in the second hottest pool; more segregation of children from adults should occur .

Open changing rooms without options for privacy seem a bit outdated and simply not appropriate

Friendly staff, comfortable feeling, well maintained pools . I enjoyed the deep water pool. All day pass . Excellent value..

If I could give 6 stars I would. What a spot. On a clear day, watching that view while relaxing in the spa is off the scale good.

It is a fantastic place, and the quality of attention of its staff greatly improves the experience. Especially after a long trekking or day trip.

This place is AMAZING!!. the view of the mountains from the hotpools are awesome. The people who work there are nice and friendly the food is great.The cabins are nice and cost. Do go here because it is breathtaking

We went in grizzly weather, which meant no spectacular view. I also thought the hottest spring would have been a bit warmer, but overall a pleasant experience. A little pricey, but worth the money if you get the discount by booking through BookMe.

Nice and tidy. Hot pools were fun, cool pools were fun too, and not that cold!! Not too busy on a Tuesday afternoon, was very relaxing. The adult only pool was nice as well so you weren't getting splashed by kids swimming along. Not natural springs, so can put your head under the water (normal pool water). Good views!

We did the 1am stargazing plus hot pools 2 hr experience. Absolutely amazing, highly recommend it for sure !!! It was too dark to take photos with my phone. Dress warmly !

Lovely scenery and amazing staff. Great to see them having fun and entertaining kids on the water slide.

Beautiful place. Warm water, best place to go during the winter and when it's been snowing. I like that there is a pool just for adults too. Sometimes it's nice to just get away from the young ones.

It s similar to hamner spring, swimming pool like spring place, can t really see the lake view if you are in the spring, their promotion photo got the best angle of it.! We pushed the trolley up there and realized we have to hand carried it up to the top because there is all gravel road and almost impossible to push our trolley up. I believe the wheel chairs will have the same problem too.! It really depends on what kind of experience you are after, man made entertainment or nature beauty.!

I really don t think this place is worth that money, and it took us 3 hours to there. the water are not warm enough, still cold when you go to a hot spring bath.

Wonderful experience. Unfortunately our night clouded over but not before we could get a good look at the moon through the telescope. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and told us some great stories while we floated in the hot pool. Reccomended activity to do whilst visiting Lake Tekapo.

Great place to spend a few hours with kids! They do a two day special thats not too much more than the one day price.

Great location, not too hot, pool for the kids. Not the cheapest so look for deals

Not bad but there was nothing to enjoy except the moderately warm pool. Not recommended for price

Fantastic place! I only gave it a 3 because the snow tubing was disappointing. There is a time limit of 60 mins, my kids ended up in a line of 40-50 people and walked away after 30 mins because they were bored and by then only got 2 rides. I complained at the counter, nothing came of it.

More changing room space is needed. Changing rooms were absolutely packed. Otherwise nice relaxing place. Good service

Such a surreal place to see the stars. We went to the midnight session and it was fun. Some cloud came over and we lost the chance to use the telescopes but that can't be helped. It's not as romantic as might imagine because you will be in a big group of strangers floating in the pool. It's not that big so expect to rub up against other people. The staff were great and the presenter was very knowledgeable.

I visited tekapo springs today with my wife as we had booked on line yesterday from Queenstown for a massage for both of us at 3pm. We drove from Queenstown. We are both from Sydney and we were told it was a must to come toTekapo Springs. On arrival we were told that there was an IT issue and I was put back to 5.30 for my massage but my wife was still booked at 3.00. We were meeting friends at 6.00 and this time did not suit. I cancelled massage and was re-imbursed. We had planned to use all facilities but unfortunately some things don't work out. My wife had a good massage which is positive. It was a long way to come to no avail.
I guess maybe next time. I must point out staff did apologise and understand It issues happen and I hope it get fixed so others are not let down.

A nice place to warm up on a cold winters day, has a fun zone for the kids which my son loved.

Perhaps the weather impacted our time here as it was raining when we went. However, it was still a clear day but we couldn't see any of the views - they were blocked by trees. We detoured on our route to come out here and I have to say we were quite disappointed.

We did the nighttime star gazing. A brilliant experience with excellent guides. The telescopes were very impressive. However the guide did go a bit off topic when discussing extra terrestial life and his belief the mauris had some kind of interaction with intergalactics.

If you are after a soak and a relaxing time definitely worth a visit

It s a relaxing novelty but for the price you shouldn t need to bring your own towel. It costs $5 to hire plus a $20 deposit. Also it would be better if the lockers were situated in the bathrooms as it gets quiet congested outside of the bathrooms.

Awesome place to take the family. Kids had fun in the kids pool area.. Very clean and well maintained pools with the most beautiful view. Recommend that you visit if your travel plans involve you passing by. You can hire towels for $5 each with a $20 bond which you'll get back once all towels are returned.

We had an open discount voucher which we rang up before to check we could use it on a particular date. When we arrived the lass at the counter said it expired at the end of June although our voucher received by email had absolutely no reference to that!
So we had to pay more.
NOT IMPRESSED.
Also grossly over-priced compared to Hammer Springs.

Variety of pools are great. All facilities are clean and tidy. Highly recommend

It s always great to be back at the Tekapo Springs, the kids love it. The only thing I wish is a shower and a toilet in the family changing room. We always get stupid comments and behaviour from women/man when we have to take the kids in the women/men changing room

Didn't stay long in the pools. The seats are too upright to relax. Would be nice to have a hotter pool
