Good service and professional staff, keep you safe diving. They have staff speak Chinese. The only thing is the photos and videos has the wrong date time metadata on them.

Awesome experience & great tandem sky diver - gotta give it a go

No proper protections given for ears.... The video is not worth for money..... Came for sky dive with high expectations.... But returning with high disappointment....

Very exciting jump. My wife went to the plane scared and stressed out. Came back all full of adrenaline and asking for one more time. The staff are super friendly and the video is definitely worth it. I mean how many times you'll get to see so many emotions on your face!

Such an amazing experience, after I jumped from 12000 feet I would do the 15000 straight away!!! Perfect location for skydiving, the staff is friendly and helpful

I booked for 12000 ft along with digital package.it was in the morning 7 o'clock on 26th Sept 19 with my wife.. if you are taking their package of photo and video which is 199 NZD, take proper tandem who take your proper picture and movie which is remembering for life time. In my case my tandem partner took all photos which is out of focus and video is currapted. After paying such price I am very much disappointed..

The instructor was professional and the view was breathtaking. The administrative work leading to the dive could be more organised.

Excellent experience, I was nervous and unsure what to expect. I did the dive with Rob and he was an absolute gentleman. Not only he is a master diver, but has excellent personality, friendly and calmed me down and kept me informed the entire time. You would enjoy sky diving with these guys regardless of who you go with, but if you would like an excellent experience, Rob is the man for the job.
Company was well organised, everything was done in a professional manner.

I didn't do the jump myself but they were very helpful with the 3 that did the jump and even let me join in so I wasn't missing out, they are now looking at what to do next

A great experience, jumping from a height of 15,000 feet, the feeling of overlooking the ground is unique, Wanaka's Skydive trainer is very kind and worth visiting

I have previously jumped at wanaka in 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. So much so that I brought my partner back for a surprise birthday present. I booked the jump and a handi cam package and paid for it. I also triple checked, once when I landed in NZ, the day before and the day off.. PLUS WHEN WE GOT THERE.. and even when doing this, they somehow forgot that we booked and paid for a handi cam package. So in the end we just got the jump. I am extremely disappointed with this customer service. They ruined the whole surprise and experience. I'd recommend jumping in Queenstown, the customer service is 10 times better there. Sorry, but I'd never go back again.

Super fun experience with wonderful views! My tandem master, Flo, was really professional and I felt super safe throughout the entire process! I took the basic package with just the jump and was really happy with it.

It was an amazing experience here. Some breathtaking views around. The team "Skydive Wanaka" is awesome. They make you feel comfortable and make you enjoy the dive. Loved the time spent here. Highly recommended place for skydive. I was impressed with the safety procedures followed and the way they taught to dive so quickly.

Professional team, reasonably quick turnaround and absolutely phenomenal views!! Only annoying thing was you weren t allowed to take your own GoPro (I can understand the danger) but they charged $199 for your tandem diver to take his own GoPro. Given that the dive itself was $359, this seemed pretty expensive!
Still, the views were insane!!!

Overall a great experience, like everything else in New Zealand they will also go to any level to make you buy the photos and videos which are super expensive.

Totally spoilt my day and I wasted it in wanaka. I was supposed to skydive at 11am but at 9.30am the staff told us that they can't confirm with the weather but ask us to go ahead with the drive from queenstown. And thus we went ahead rushing down, forgoing our arrowtown trip! We reached promptly at 11am and waited till 1230pm and was told that the weather is bad and thus we can't fly. But many had went ahead to dive since 11am. Our slot was at 11am as well. We were told to shift our slot to 5pm. There were 2pm slots but we couldn't slot it in due to full booking? But we were from 11am! We carried on our lunch and waited by the lake till 4.30, made the call, diving is cancelled as well due to weather. Unpleasant service as they were no lack of customers. They could have squeezed us into 2pm slot but they didn't and just brushed us away at that point of time. I remember particularly Dylan and Elise were the staff which handled us. There were no apologies at that point of time and just hasten us to quickly decide if we want the 5pm slot or not. My partner and I were deciding if we should forgo it and trek but their impatience led us to booking the 5pm slot. And I simply wasted my day waiting at lake wanaka which I only had a day here. I could have went trekking or some other activities. I'll never come back to wanaka for this anymore.

My instructor Api was incredibly charming and knowledgeable. I learned plenty by discussing Maori language and culture with him. The photos and video of my skydiving experience that Api took look amazing. Would definitely recommend the experience.

Great scenery, great jump. Why 2 stars? The organisation is a mess. Nobody explains what's going on or guides you through the process, they forgot my booking, they don't welcome you in the office. Once there the process is chaotic.

Once you are called to skydive it's the same. No explanation, no clear process. You meet your instructor last minute and have no idea what to do with oxygen, straps, what clothes to wear, etc. I was wondering if short pants would be to cold (it wasn't) but there was no relaxed opportunity to ask a couple of questions to my skydive master.

It's very much a continuous process for this company and is organized by mainly thrillseekers that aren't the best in organizing this.

Don't get me wrong. It is safe. The jump is great, the scenery even better. But the organization feels very chaotic.

I came here with my wife for her Birthday Surprise. We both jumped from 15000 feet with a cameraman to capture our dives more personally.

Everyone from the receptionist to the crew were most courteous and helped us with the Skydive. We even got some goodies from the team to commemorate my wife's birthday as well.

The Skydive was simply fabulous! The breathtaking views of the snow capped Southern Alps, picturesque lakes and green farms just made this the best place to skydive from.

Our photos were just about fine. I guess it's not very easy to capture that when you're free falling at 200kmph, but an exhilarating experience nonetheless.
If you also want the unedited video footage of the Skydive, carry your own pendrives, else you'll have to buy an additional one at the Skydive centre.

Although they're slightly more expensive than other Skydive operators around the world, the very scenic experience makes me highly recommend this to everyone.

I have done quite a few skydives around Australia and NZ before but this was my favourite one by far! The staff were super friendly when we checked in and everything was easy and smooth without annoying wait periods. The jumpsuits were awesome as they were red/orange and looked super cool! :)
I mean you can't really beat this location - mountains, stunning lakes and on a clear day like ours even Mt Cook in the background, absolutely mindblowing and I'd highly recommend it to anybody considering a skydive in NZ :-)

Great experience!!! Instructor Was very friendly and warmed up the atmosphere to make you less anxious before the jump. They were very professional and our booking was rescheduled to the morning time due to weather forecast, instead of simply being cancelled. I am glad that we could make it. Bird view of Wanaka is fantastic. It took quite some time to get the video and photos and somehow it was mixed up with others , but overall experience was excellent!

Very professional and good tandem instructors, the coach driver Julian was the highlight of the trip - he kept us entertained throughout the journey with good jokes.

We booked yesterday and skydived this morning so not too long to wait with nerves setting in!
Professional and friendly from start to finish, I highly recommend Skydive Wanaka.
My beautiful stranger tandem guide was Flo and I am so grateful to him for ensuring a fun and safe experience. He was very kind and reassuring, checked the equipment at the appropriate times, clearly explained what I needed to do and made an effort to point out the key scenery below, which was beautiful.

Skydive wanaka is best for skydiving. Totally reasonable prices. Value for money totally. Chris was the beautiful stranger totally guiding me with lot of empathy. Jamie was so caring. Sherlyn the floor manager all in all once in a lifetime totally mindblowing experience. And yes I LOVE ORANGE.

I had the most jawdropping first skydive here, felt super safe, and got really professional video of it, cheers Sam my tandem master and Rob for filming me, and ground staff for being awesome, cheers guys I'll never forget it, definitely do the 15k jump YEWWWW

such poor service here! We called they at 8 Am more than 5 times for checking whether we can do our skydive at 8:30, as the staff in reception told us to do that yesterday, but no one answered the call, and when we arrived the reception, on one here??
The weather is no suitable for skydive, but no one inform us before, no one answer the iPhone

I have a fear of heights, but I still come here to play, the scenery is super beautiful! You can see two nearby lakes and the longest river in the South Island!
The coach Anthony was very attentive, and the help to take pictures was also great. They always pay attention to my situation and care about me.
In fact, it is a very safe activity, but when I get down, I feel a little dizzy. If you are afraid of dizziness, you can take a motion sickness medicine or the like first.

The dive was great! but photography can be better :) To be fair, its pretty tough to get a good shot so high in the sky though

This was honestly one of the most fun things I've done in a while. Highly recommended the experience. The views were world class and the tandem masters were very skilled and made the experience great. Highly reccomended.

The flight instructor had a bad attitude, a lot of rude behavior, and filming was pretty sloppy.

Paying a lot of money was the worst experience I had in New Zealand.
When the coach helped me wear the flight suit, it was very rude and arrogant. I kicked my leg without any greeting. twice. For the sake of my life, I did not complain to him at the time. Afterwards, I found that there weren't a few photos taken against me, which was really quite slow. Time Name: Alex P

The coaches here are very good. The skydiving is not as horrible as you think. If you go, you can try it.

Skydive instructor was great, the jump was good and the view is awesome. However, only one disappointment from this place the photo package service provided by Skydive Wanaka. Paid $299 for the 15k ft with a cameraman, and end up all of the pictures are really disappointing with most of it I'm far from the cameraman, and totally have no idea that it is me. I understand that it is hard to control in the sky but believe me, the only pictures that I can recognize is me inside is when I'm about to board the flight and landing.
Made a feedback via email, and they just apologize to me saying cameraman forgotten to turn off his camera. send me back extra footage that are also not recognizable that it is me. Tried to reply back but they blocked my email. Have to praise this for the effort.
Can you guys accept this kind of service with that paid amount? Its not even about the amount, I want to have photos that I can look back and reminisce on it but ...this totally ruin it.
So, my advice is check the photos first before you leave to make sure you get the best shot.

Super fun security, good service attitude, it will be a super memorable memory, but there are only four toilets
