Crimson Resort & Spa Review

We like our room because its near in the beach and pool. My kids love to play in Crimzone everyday they play. Very nice play room with fun activities.

It has a nice view. The prices for food is high cost yet palatable. The lamb kebab is worth its price, the meat was soft. Its taste was sweet and a lil bit spicy. The staff are accommodating. Making sure that the food is serve and suggests what to order. They follow IATF safety protocols ensuring the guests can relax

It is difficult to move due to the wide gap between the hostels and it is very remote. The answer is to give room service because there is no supermarket or anything nearby.... The room service is delicious.
The room was in good condition, and it was a good place to rest.
The security of Cebu was not very good, so when I went out, I mainly used the van or taxi provided by the hotel. It was expensive but very friendly and good.

Its a very nice hotel...the staff are very friendly..me and my son really enjoyed the white beach and the pool...looking forward to be there again soon

A nice beach resort with nice weather is awesome, I highly recommend this place. I enjoyed it a lot today though I've encountered a little disappointment like waiting for the ordered food in the restaurant for almost 1hour, maybe because the kitchen is busy.

Long check in process, room not clean. I put glass at porch never pick up and clean

And another funny thing, they have over 400 tv channels but most of it not subscribe.... really not efficient

The place is great. Food not so. Overall, the resort is really ideal for getaway. Elegant resort!

Had a pleasant stay at Crimson with my family. The place is indeed a good getaway within the city. Once inside, you actually forget you are just around 15min from the airport. Haha
It is not my first time to stay, so Im happy they have maintained the place well.
The whole resort is not that big, but the space is enough to keep the guests spread out and not feel crowded at all despite high occupancy rate.
The villa is well appointed, HUGE bathroom with a tub. The bar is complimentary on the first night. The bed is nice and firm. Airconditioning strong (which is good coz the heat is just too much at certain hours) and wifi is also strong in the room. Wifi signal though gets inconsisent when you walk around the resort.
I love both pools. I like the one in crimzone coz it is big enough and not as crowded. But the view in the main pool is amazing.
Food though was average. I liked Enye and Saffron. But Azure wasnt as good. I got confused with the menu in Azure. Nevertheless, the serving was big compared to other resorts so there is value for money. Also, I ordered mango shake in both restaurants but the one in Saffron tasted better than in Azure. How can the taste be inconsistent? But that is just a minor observation.

Overall, what sets Crimson apart is the villa-type layout and the staff. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Always smiling, always polite.
For a local, Im impressed with the hospitality. And for that, I would recommend others to stay in Crimson for a relaxing getaway.

This was a true tropical experience. I felt like I was in some Carribean or Hawaiian resort from the time we arrived on the lobby to the end of our booking after 3 days it was a real vacation experience. Staff were really friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room to a villa when we checked in. The food was great and the ambiance was just purely tropical. Not to mention their Infinity pool which is huge and nice plus our very own pool in the upgraded villa they gave us for free. Thanks Crimson.

I was recently the best man at a wedding held at Crimson. The groom had quite a shock when he went to settle the bill and there was an extra $500 for alcohol for the wedding- he paid for an open bar and guests were each given a wrist band for the bar. The wrist bands had cheap glue and most fell off- little did the groom know that anyone ordering a drink without a wrist band would be added to his tab. No one was warned that this would be the case or of course we would have been more careful with the wrist bands. The bartender must have known the guests were previously wearing bands, it s ridiculous to think they started charging everyone later in the night. When the groom met with the manager to discuss it they wouldn t reverse or even reduce the charges even though the groom brought 60 guests to the resort and paid top dollar for everything.
When the parents of the bride and groom arrived, their rooms weren t ready. They had to wait in the heat instead of getting settled (it wasn t an early check in, and the rest of us had rooms ready) The bride had requested some special decoration for her parents room since it was their anniversary, that was never done.
EVERYTHING ON THE RESORT IS 20x THE PRICE OF OUTSIDE THE RESORT. As a comparison:
In the rest of Cebu you can get massages for 200-500/hour, on the resort it s 4100-6000.
A comparable room at Horizons 101 is $30/night but crimson starts at $250 (most rooms are more like $500).
Laundry in the rest of Cebu is 10-60 pesos. At crimson the promotion deal is 1000 pesos.

Also this isn t the resort s fault but you should be aware- I saw a very poisonous water snake below the dock in the snorkeling area- be careful. A guide later told us that a black and white striped water snake such as this is more venomous than a cobra

The staff is so disorganized and they don t listen. It happened all the time to our group but one example is when I was booking our shuttle to the airport they asked what room we were from and she misheard me, I corrected her 3 times but she said everything was arranged so I assumed she must have heard me- when it was time to leave for the airport there was a delay because our room wasn t listed correctly for the shuttle so we had to get it sorted before we could leave

If you are planning on having your wedding at Crimson I would think again. It s disorganized and unprofessional with hidden costs at every turn. Just book somewhere else.

Crimzone faciliy is good, very kind staffs and very playful with my kids. I'm a daypass at crimzone and I can say that it was worth it.

This is our second visit in crimson, still the best resort. We like to visit at crimzone, my kids love it so much because of the services that they offer. Thank you liza and nestor for the help during our stay. We will definitely come back again.

Timeless elegance in a relaxing setting on the Resort
Have heard about Crimson Resort and SPA for years and was so excited to book a trip there! It lived up to its reputation of being a fine hotel. The views were gorgeous, loved having a roomy space in which to wind down after a day, roaming or relaxing by the gorgeous pool. The room was ample size, the bed super comfy, the bathroom had nice fixtures, plush towels and top of the line toiletries. We had breakfasts and dinner there and the menu for both had a great selection and the prices were very, very reasonable. Looking so forward to going back, it is the perfect half way stop for a week getaway with family.

This hotel was wonderful.
The room was great, the private beach was beautiful.
Specially children can enjoy many kinds of activities such as free snorkeling with lots of colorful tropical fish.

Good to be back. Amazing paradise in Mactan for a weekend break. Beautiful property, room and excellent food at Azure and Enye.

I used for dayuse and it was 3000 pesos for 1 person.It seems expensive comparing to other resorts but has worth to pay. The view was beauitful with two big pools, we went there on saturday so the foam party was so much fun. You got lunch buffets and drinks included, so you have nothing to pay inside. I had a wonderful time on my birthday, the staffs are very friendly and helpful.

do check out Tempo...fantastic food and great service. loved the foie gras dish (forgot the exact name).

The resort is very family oriented. Masses of kids. The new Spanish restaurant is excellent

Nice room...cold room...nice swimming pool..nice play area.

We had our honeymoon here and it was a perfect location for it! The rooms were big and they prepared a setup perfect for our honeymoon. The atmosphere is very good and staff were accommodating. Food is also good and the bar by the beach is very nice. They had foam party on a Saturday before and it was really good experience. I would definitely recommend this place!

Every morning, you can leave a paper with the day's events in front of you and enjoy the resort. The staff were so friendly and happy.

Customer service is the best. There is a round-the-clock look around the clock and you feel secure while in the Philippines. One step outside the site is another world ,,,,.
The food was delicious, and you can enjoy a buffet in the morning and evening.
There is a bar full of atmosphere at night and you can enjoy it slowly because it is not crowded. Recommended for couples!
There are also many Western gay couples! It was handsome and sexy.

Crimson resort is good for family. We've been here several times already. What we like here is there kids play area named crimzone. Pool is great and beach is clean. Staffs are friendly and accommodating. They just have the best service to their guest. They have staff which our kids really fan of. Kudos to Jenny, Hazel,Cleo and Sharm of crimzone. You did really great guy's. Lifeguards are very funny especially Joey , Nell and Paulo. Gym is really good to do excercise too. Joy of the gym is very accomodating and friendly. Guards were hospitable esp. JR Surely we will be back here. Thank you crimson.

This is beyond expectation. Service, facilities, staff, beach and all others are just soooo good! Rooms are spacious and very pretty.

Everything is wonderful. The resort staffs are very friendly and helpful. My favorate is the foam party today, fun and beautiful. We will come back again

A bit expensive, great pool, good beach, snorkeling, great amenities. Lunch buffet had a good variety of local desserts, grill on request pork, chicken, and squid.

Good food, service and also the staff we have great experienced!

Stayed here during a company event and was truly impressed. I am planning to go back with my family and will try their Spa. Food is great at Azure!

A nice place to chill and unwind, especially at dusk in the bar. The beach if good for snorkeling but not sandy enough to just chill. Crimzone area for kids and their heated pool & jacuzzi are great but needs a proper indoor shower near the pool. Staff are friendly but the zone needs to stay true to activities advertised in the package.

The staff at the resort were nice and kind.But compared to other resorts, the narrow breakfast restaurant and the New Year gala dinner were far too short, and people were long in line, compared to restaurants of similar price in Korea.The place was hot and narrow, tooFrankly speaking, it was such a waste of money.The Japanese sitting next to him said that there was nothing to eat.The Crimson Resort will have to investigate more about the general tastes of its guests.
Compared to the resort that I went to Thailand last year, the meal at the Crimson Resort seems to be more humble.

The cleanliness of the resort was good, but it was inconvenient because there were many ants lying on the sunbed.
There were many good things like the condition of the swimming pool, the staff was kind and nice, and the fish view of the beach, but I don"t want to go there again because of the meal.

Had an amazing trip. The place is great. When we arrived we were entertained right away. We were able to settle down immediately. Crimzone is cool our kids loved and enjoyed. Will plan another trip to this beautiful resort!

Pros: Swimming pool, private beach, friendly staff, pool party more exciting and fun than expected
Disadvantages: In-room ant,,,, shower filter was taken but yellow after a day (if it didn't take it?), food is generally tasteless

We stayed in a Pool Villa, it was very spacious and nicely decorated. It has a small pool but a very large bathroom.The food is good and varied in my opinion

Private beach accommodation 30 minutes by car from Cebu airport. The hotel has a beach, pool, spa, restaurant and souvenir shop.
Anyway I spend every day at the hotel thoroughly! It is the best hotel for those who decide.
It's a few minutes walk to villas and beaches, so it's not a building hotel, so it's stressful to walk this distance with swimwear and besan!
The villa I stayed this time seemed to be the first or second highest rank, and I was surprised at the fullness of the breakfast buffet! Buffet meal plus with orderable menu. If you have enough breakfast, there is no problem even if you do not have lunch. An all-you-can-eat tropical fruit with pineapple to mango every day. The order menu is made from a wide range of Filipino local dishes to Western dishes. However, if you are not familiar with the local cuisine of the Philippines, there are some difficult things. I learned a lot.
There is a couch and a pool in the room's garden, the rooms are spacious, there is also a coffee maker and it is a good time to stay in the room.
This time I went snorkeling and sunbathing on the beach every day. I was looking for Nemo every day because there are a lot of fish in the shallow water several meters from the beach and Nemo. You can borrow fins and masks for free.
The staff is friendly and you can negotiate immediately if you have something. However, it seems that there is no culture of succession, and there was no stress shared by another staff member asked before, and there was stress that repeated the same order many times. Only there minus.
It is the best location to stay in the city and just enjoy the hotel stay.

The rooms are good, the beach owned by the hotel is clean and there is also a pool with a gorgeous atmosphere, and towels and beach beds are freely available.
HOUSE music which is suitable for a resort is also on the floor, and it was a very good atmosphere.
All the staff also say hello carefully.
The drawback was that the hot water was so warm and the shower room leaked water and the floor was messed up to the toilet.
Another taxi I got called by Bellboy was 600 pesos per hour.
I could negotiate, but I need a vehicle to get to the town, so I think moving is a bit more difficult.
However, other facilities are in place and I would like to use it again.

I really loved it here. The staff are very corteous. The resort alone is amazing but the staff are the ones that makes it unforgetattable.

I stayed for 4 days and had a good and happy time. The Cream Zone Pool was too perfect for a 2-year-old. I had a perfect family event.

This is an amazing hotel to stay at. We only stayed one night but the breakfast in the morning is simply amazing. The rooms are very well appointed and super clean. Check out and check in is extremely easy as well. What is also nice is when you check in or check out one of the bell boys will take you to or from your room in a golf cart. Parking is ample as we drove there to stay. The pool is clean and the evening closing ceremonies are very nice as well. Customer service is top notch and the welcome drinks are refreshing and tasty! The only minor complaint that I have is that the pool in one area towards the beach is very rugged on the bottom.

Ambiance was really good. Peaceful and green surrounding that you can really relax. I am having a good time here. Thanks crimson.

Crimson is by far my favorite resort in the Philippines. The accommodations were impeccable, food was superb and most of all, the staff was knowledgeable, beyond helpful and so capable! I would definitely return and refer Crimson.

The twin bed is too small to sleep with the kids. If you have 2 kids, we recommend applying for an extra bed.
The rooms are single so they are quiet and nice, but overall they feel old and the cleaning is a bit poor.
Instead, it's great for snorkeling because there are plenty of fish in the pool and private beach waters that are nice enough to blow away all these shortcomings.
