I ordered the single photo koozies from Creve Coeur Camera, and when they first arrived the order had been messed up due to a computer issue. After calling customer service, they re-printed my order at no additional charge, and expediated the delivery. Also, when my order was re-submitted they personally emailed the lab the screen shots as to make sure the order was accurate. I received the order quickly, and it was perfect Great customer service, fast remediation, and very helpful. Would defintely order from there again.

I had a great experience at Creve Coeur Camera today. Derek really helped me accomplish my goal to preserve a special moment in time for our family-owned roofing company. I trusted Derek to digitally store an original photo that was too large to properly duplicate myself. Thanks to Creve Coeur Camera and Derek Davis. Kudos to whoever hired Derek.

This place is a complete joke. 2% friendly customer service. The manager I spoke to named Phil completely brushed me off and told me to "go talk to one of our other employees" his words. Mind you when I looked around every other employee was actually busy with other customers. He then proceeded to just walk around starring at "his" employees making sure they were doing their jobs. It took me 3 seconds of looking around to notice his employees were doing their job. He was not. He then went and small talked with a short round tweedle dumb looking man who I'm guessing was the owner? I watched that mess unfold in front of me for 7 minutes so I decided to just walk out. Good job guys. I had to buy 3 high end cameras for my business. So I went to Schiller's at dropped 11 thousand dollars there. Now I'm reading CCC is going out of business. HAHAHAHAHA!!! There's no reason to wonder why!

I've had a good time going here. It's nice to be able to talk about photography and videography. If you pay attention you'll probably learn something. They have a great film developing lab. Overall it's a place you can spend time in and feel at home. Plus there are a lot of products to look at. It's a most enjoyable place to visit.

A great selection of new and used photography equipment. Customer service was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices seemed OK, you'll probably find better prices on some types of products but Creve Coeur Camera's products seem to be higher quality.

My only negative is that I wish they had more video equipment, limited to tripods and similar accessories. Still a useful shop for these types of products.

I used to work for this company. This store has opened since I left, and they didn t have a battery charger for an LP-E6 battery in stock (supports majority of canon EOS SLRs). I figured if I went to their biggest store they would definitely have one. Instead I had to go to Best Buy. It s a shame, I would have much rather supported CCC.

Overpriced items especially film- for example Ilford Hp5 400 135-36 is 8.29 at Creve Coeur-- but in BH photo from NY is 5.49 and BH does not charge shipping -- If you are like me and buy large amount of film you can save hundreds by getting it from BH - hundred rolls will save you 300 dollars - Kodak Tmax 400 135-36 in Creve Coeur is 9.49 but again in BH is 5.19 in this case I could save over 400 dolars -- its a shame that local business will overcharge so much - I do understand and want to support locally - but Im not a idiot to pay so much more

I have been coming to the store for the past three months and have always met very friendly employees, especially Joe R. ! I made a special trip to buy my 60d here because of the helpful and very knowledgable employees. It is a pleasure to give them my continued business, as they go the extra step to relay their honest and expert opinion.

The customer service from the staff working the floor is mostly OK (there are a couple of sales couple people that don t seem to care and a couple that really do care and are do an awesome job). The customer service from ownership/management has cost them not only my business, but the business of the photography club I'm in. Backstory: In December of 2017 I purchased a second-hand Canon 5D with two batteries at a reasonable price for having the mirror-fix already completed. I wanted the older camera for fun shooting. I took the camera home and quickly found out that one of the batteries was wouldn't hold a charge at all (charged in a matter of minutes on the charger, but discharged in just a few shots on the camera). I took the camera back (within 24 hours) to speak with them about it. The other 5D cameras they had did not have the mirror fix, so I opted to return the camera and defective battery. Just over a month later, I saw that they had a 5D listed online in their system, so I went and purchased it (with two good batteries) to replace the one I returned with the defective battery. That camera has joined the rest of my gear that I use (e.i.: I kept it and use it). At the same time, one of their sales people talked me in to the Olympus micro four thirds system to replace my APS-C camera that I travel with. They had a used OMD EM-1 body, so I purchased it and a lens. I went home to start learning the system. After using it a bit, I found out that the back wheel of that body did not always register whenever you rotated it (sometimes it worked fine, sometimes it took 3 or 4 turns to get it to register the rotation). I took the body back to their shop to ask if it was an actual issue, or if it was simply that I just didn't know the camera body. The woman who helped me was very pleasant and confirmed that the camera was, in fact, defective and the wheel should not be doing that. I initiated a return on the defective camera since their sales person confirmed it didn't work as it should. The only other used EM-1 body they had was more expensive and I wasn't prepared to pay the difference. The next day I sold one of my Canon lenses to make up the difference in the cost of the two used bodies and to purchase an additional lens. I was standing AT THE REGISTER, CREDIT CARD IN HAND to complete the purchase of an OMD EM-1 body and another lens when Jim came out of the back and told me, quote, "I've tracked you and you're no longer allowed to return anything you purchase. Just so we're on the same page, your purchases are final". Keep in mind, I returned two bad items and REPURCHASED working versions of BOTH. In addition, they have a POSTED POLICY that any used equipment, defective or not, has a 24 hour return window. I tried to explain to him that the camera I returned the previous day was defective according to one of his sales people and that I was currently repurchasing a working model of the SAME camera (at a higher price), and he simply snapped "The policy stands". I cancelled the transaction and happily purchased the camera (and another two additional lenses) from their competitor. It's simply a matter of principle that you don t get on to customers for returning an item that doesn t function as it should and that was returned in accordance to their posted policy. I ve spent big $$$$ on camera equipment, including from them, and I didn t know that asking for two additional purchases to work as expected was asking too much.

These guys are amazing ! I was able to place a pre-order for Nikon D850 back in September without paying any deposit which my store in CA asked for $1000. Nikon D850 is super hard to find, a hot item since last 2 months... I have 3 pre-orders on different online sites (NY based stores). And yesterday I got a call from CC camera that it's finally available and reserved for me! WoW... but here comes the real stretch! I only come to St. Louis for work and live in CA, so this had to be shipped. And they were glad to update their website to add the item only for me for some moments, and then I placed the order immediately now I will receive my camera at my home shipped out free of cost. They could have easily said "no" to me cause I'm sure there are plenty other local customers who would be waiting in the line after me for that same camera, but they honored my requests out of plain courtesy and it's hard to find these days... . This is amazing. Thanks so much Laura, Jessica and David.. keep up the good work CC camera.

This place is great for anyone who is a photographer or wants to get into it. The classes are really well taught, the photo walks are worth every penny, and the staff has great knowledge to help you find what you're looking for to make your photos great. They have a review system for all used equipment which took all worry I had away when buying lens'.

My go to place for quality service. Finally transferring some 30 year old VHS tapes to DVD's. Wouldn't trust anyone else!!! Thanks Jim Kidder at the Creve Coeur location for your excellent customer service!!!!

Creve Coeur Camera is St. Louis best resource for photography- camera's, lenes, equipment, prints and more.

I bought my pro camera and lenes at CCcamera. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgable. They were patient with me and answered all my questions, as I wasn't sure which major brand to buy.

After, I brought my camera home, I still had questions and needed more support. I went to their classes and even stopped in, on occasion. They were always helpful in directing me to what I needed to know.

They are passionate about photography and you. They want to make sure you have the right gear to do the type of photography you want. Even if you just want a small point and shoot camera to capture your family's memories, or you want to go pro.

Prints look great. I have printed a few of my images and plan on using their pro printing more often.

I am the type of person who likes to shop around and find the best deal online. But at CCcamera, you get a great deal, plus, you get a knowledgable staff that cares about you and wants to make sure you are supported. To me that is more important than finding a better deal somewhere else.

They have earned my business and I will continue to keep buying from them.

Great place! Very friendly staff. I've needed help loading up pics, trying to create a good collage, etc and they were so helpful. Made my experience wonderful. I'll be back many more times now.

I wanted to share how very happy we are with our recent buying experience at Creve Coeur Camera. David Broome, our sales consultant, was friendly, honest, personable and made good eye contact. The flagship location on Olive offers great hours and great selection. We were not pressured or rushed at all. In the end, my daughter selected the Canon EOS M5. I couldn t be more pleased with the purchase process.

Bait and switch. Bought my wife several hundred dollars worth of gift cards which I was told could be used for classes as well and products. That was false. Classes only. Then they required her to do prerequisite classes before she could take the classes she wanted to take. Then they said you had to pay more money to take certain countries, etc...just not the experience we were hoping for.

This company has a very rude manager. I called to check on the status of an job application that I submitted and was directed to a rude manager who answered the phone first with a different voice (terrible accent) pretending to be someone else. Then a called back to speak to someone else and the same guy answered being rude and having an attitude as if I did something wrong. All I wanted to do was check on my application status. Horrible Management.

I found a problem with may camera as I was leaving for Alaska. They took the time to help me out and resolve my issue as I was heading to the airport. Great service and knowledgeable staff!

Clean, knowledgeable and helpful staff, my only complaint was the difficulty getting into the parking lot from east bound Olive Blvd. Run up to the light and hit a U on a protected green, and you'll be fine.

The store seems well stocked and the people there ...

The store seems well stocked and the people there seem to be well versed as well, no Walmart employees. But despite how much I feel like I could take away from this place, I get two distinct feelings walking in.

First, It feels as if they have little to no interest in helping me. Their behavior, body language, etc. It's says they have no interest, and it's been this way since the second time I visited when just shopping for a new camera. Almost as if I was accused of theft but no one will say a word. I finally purchased a mirror-less model, not cheep. Returning with questions about the camera, was that same feeling again. It seemed as if only after seeing the camera did they snap to attention, though the feeling was still in the air. Like my credit line is not quite high enough to be there, that I can't afford their goods.

Second, although they are happy to hear a quick sampling of what you need or are looking for, it feels difficult to get them to listen. Maybe their stock is too limited, I can only guess. They are not so much dismissive as they seem to much in a hurry to sell product they have chosen from the display.

Now it is important to note that I have purchased a camera here, so I have some skin in the game. I am not here to rain on this business or to demonize them. Just provide feed back. I feel like I might have found an even better model if there was more push to find the best fit and less push to find one that does fit and push it. Of the two times I came to shop specifically for a camera, I had to push back in order to shop through a few cameras and make a choice. -No they did not constantly grab a new model and offer it, nor would I have wanted them to. But there seemed to be an effort to choose one and stick with promoting that one.

To be fair, the day I did make the purchase I was fighting against Reps. So their interest was to push their own brands. Though this I felt was counter productive to simply gathering data to make the best choice with.

At this point I will go back as needed. But only after careful consideration. I will make every effort to shop around for what I am looking for before heading over. Maybe next visit, I wont be as much a stranger, but a customer, with complex questions, looking for a product.

I think many people like this store, and I hope that It will continue to be liked. If you have a camera related issue, by all means go. Do not let my opinions stop you.

Last note. The store should NOT respond to this feedback. I only ask that my words be considered. Nothing more, nothing less.
-Feedback will change with experiences.

I have been trying my best to put into words publicly how horrible of a company Creve Coeur Camera is. I worked there as reception for 10 months and let me tell you:
It was one of the most stressful times of my life because the business was chaotic / poorly run, the owner harasses any woman under him, and you never had job security because he fires almost everyone in what we referred to as "purges". What is most frustrating to recently hear is that CCC closed down their remaining branch locations without informing their employees, their customers, or anyone they definitely owed that to. The men who run this do not care about the business itself, anyone they hire, or people at all - just profit. They're riding this out until CCC completely goes down as a sinking ship. If you are looking to support local business, do not do it here. Consider Schiller's or online.

Outstanding customer service. They know their business inside and out. I was looking for an adapter to fit my iPad to mount on a tripod and even though they didn't carry one they suggest who does! This is why I use them all the time for my camera needs.

I was at there store when this crazy woman was having a cow about something she did with her camera. The manager (a nice young woman) came out and helped her! She still left in a bad mood...well...they tried!

I love this place and get great service...you should give it a try...they are LOCALLY OWNED!

We bought a camera from here at the beginning of the month and used it for a wedding and travel and stuff and the camera formatted our memory card. We took it back in and the guy working with us was terribly rude. They also told us one thing about their return policy and it was completely different. We missed the day by a few days because the guy who originally worked with us told us we had up to 30 days. Super rude didn t hear us out on anything and then we were lied to on top of that when we asked multiple times. Definitely would not recommend. Oh and the guy that was rude was Jim. And he had no clue about equipment. We would ask questions and his common answer was either I don t know or I m not a camera guy . Oh but he works in a camera store.

I have used Creve Coeur Camera for film developing and always trusted that they would do a good job handling my film. It is very expensive, especially when you are talking about a roll of medium format film with 12 shots. I gladly paid the price because I thought they would take good care of my precious film. Last December I took four rolls there. For developing, prints, a cd, and a contact sheet it was a total of $75. Imagine my surprise when one of my negatives had a grey foiled numbered sticker stuck to it. I was not very happy, but I didn't complain because honestly I didn't think the photo was the best, even though it was taken while on holiday in Paris. So this past month I took in some more film, four rolls of medium format that I shot at I WWII event in Rockford, IL. This time I only got the film developed. So when I went to scan the film myself I had found that they stuck another foil numbered sticker on a negative. Not only that, but there were also two pinholes next to the sticker. What made it even worse was that it was by far the best shot I got from the whole event. Never again.

Rather than replace broken part, they substituted a similar but larger and heavier model that takes 2 batteries vs 1. Made up excuse for keeping all shipping costs despite fact l went to them for pickup. 1/2 of cost should have been refund. They changed story from what l was told when l submitted camera for repair. I'm going to Schiller's from now on!

I'm like a kid in a candy store when I go to Creve Coeur Camera. My latest purchase was a tripod. They have so many to choose from. It was great to be able to go in and compare. The owner Stephen actually helped me pick out the perfect tripod.

I have also used Creve Coeur Camera for printing. I have been very happy with the results.

Everyone I have encountered at CCC has ben super helpful and very enthusiastic about photography.

If you get a chance to attend their free event Photopalooza do it. Free classes and discounts on purchases. Plus it's a great chance to network with others who love photography.

I run a local photography club and Stephen even offered to show our group some love by letting us host a meeting night at the Superstore location.

They sold me stuff TEN days ago and told me I had 30 days to return if I wasn't happy. But since they're closing their stores, they won't take any returns. Had I known I wouldn't have bought anything. The owner was rude and belittled me. No wonder they're closing.

CCC has really nice stores, I have been there lot of time the one at Olive, they have nice collection of gear. They organize Photopalooza twice a year which are free classes and it's awesome.

Here's my suggestion: IF YOU WANT TO BUY A CAMERA AND YOU WANT SOMEONE TO EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT YOU'RE BUYING, GO TO SHILLER'S CAMERA (just a couple of miles up the road)!! Their clerks are helpful, knowledgeable about what they sell, and very kind.

This is the second time I've been to a Creve Coeur Camera location. On both occasions I was unable to find a clerk that could adequately describe the technology in the Canon or Nikon camera lines, and the arrogance and rudeness of the clerk during my visit yesterday was absolutely appalling. I have never been spoken to so condescendingly in my life. I will NEVER step foot in a Creve Coeur Camera store again and I recommend against it to others also.

We dropped off VHS to be turned into DVD and paid 700 up front. They closed the Shiloh Location and did not inform us and expected us to drive 45 minutes to St Louis to pick them up. Then when we arrived and voiced our concerns he said you're not the only one they haven't called. Terrible customer service and was not appreciative of the money we spent with the company.

I have respect for them being a camera store local to the area but I have been disappointed with their customer service. On a few occasions months apart I've visited this location and not once was I greeted. Not a big deal, if your just looking around but when your looking to make a big purchase from them well that's when it becomes annoying.
I think the lesson that could be learned here is take time to greet your customers even if they seem like they are "just looking around" it shows that your interested in them and value their time and business.
Unfortunately I dont think I will be returning anytime soon due to finding another business who meets my needs but hopefully if I'm ever stop by again hopefully things have changed for the better.

I stopped by on a Sunday hoping to get a photo printed. I was told only the lab people could help me. I left my digital photo along with my name and number with an employee. I was told I would get a call Monday. No one called me back. I called the next day and was told they had no records of my visit and no copy of my photo. Terrible customer service. This is not the creve coeur camera I used to know

The staff was very pleasant, welcoming and informative of the equipment. I'm giving two stars because Phil, the manager, was very rude to the people helping me when I asked them questions they didn't know the answers to. He was short and sarcastic with them which is highly off putting. I absolutely did not appreciate his attitude problem. If he embarrasses them in front of customers like he did then I can only imagine what happens behind closed doors! Treat your employees better.
