Very nice hotel, very well located. However, the pool is poor.

Large, clean rooms that always have hot water, what more do you need

The location is great as it is near subways. The staff is hospitable and nice. Food is good and over all nice layout with good vibes.

I live in Toronto and was here for a two-day training conference. The staff members that I encountered (at all levels) were generally very polite and helpful even though I was not a guest of the hotel. The facilities in the lobby were clean and well maintained.

These guys made my Toronto conference so pleasant. Our travel agent made a booking error and the helpful clerk at reception corrected it in a friendly and professional way. The rooms were clean and modern.

Second time I've been there for a conference. Food for was very good. Everything else was smooth.

Nice clean room. Great staff (esp. Receptuon, and housekeeping on floor 10). Nice view. Heating system a little sluggish but that may just be my skill (or lack of) in setting it. Some slight odour from sink at times. Otherwise great. Have stayed before, will stay again.

Overall great stay and very large size rooms. Polite and friendly staff. However views could be improved despite having an upper floor room. Convenient location for visiting UofT

Very loud street noise. On the 10th floor and could hear people walking on the street clearly. Had to use earplugs to sleep.

Good quality hotel, comfortable beds, good service, lifts can take a while to serve floors at busy times

Booked a king room last night. The heating is off when I enter the room, and the temperature inside is 12 degree....Ok...so I turned on the heater and it was so weak...I had to wear my downfilled jacket and waited 4 hours to get the room temperature to 20 degree. Omg....it was such a miserable and cold night. I went down to talk to the manager at front desk, it was an old Indian guy, he doesn t care at all and seems like he was in a bad mood. Not even a sorry was said.

Very friendly staff, ceiling needed some repairs in my room, but overall very clean fresh room. VERY busy lobby at all times of day and night! I was able to switch from 2 queen's to a king at time of check in so that is always a nice perk. As with all citiesmy view faced a construction zone. Building a new high rise and the work men started at 7am. Was here for a work conference and the meeting rooms were spacious and the chairs were comfortable. Meeting food was decent and plentyful.

The check in experience is a nightmare. The Lady checking me in struggles with English and could not answer any of my questions. The valet could only offer grunts and stood there watching me struggle with my bags and offered zero help. Overpriced and undervalued. Avoid at all costs.

My last stay was in an updated room. I think its a great property and feels higher end vs. other Courtyards

Terrible stay right from when we pulled up in our car and there wasn't anyone to help us with our bags. They didn't have bell boys to help out, and no trolleys (what hotel doesn't have any trolleys). There weren't enough people to help with check-in either. The room was a strange shape and despite there being a long wide hallway, the bathroom sink and front closet were crammed together and the door to the shower and toilet opened outward knocking into the sink area as well. The decor was trashy and dated and the walls were paper thin. We had several rowdy people around us and had a terrible night sleep. We finally called the front desk at 3am to send someone up and after 45 minutes they did send up security. We were in the north tower and will not be staying there again.

Nice rooms and very convenient location, however there is some construction going on to the building.... Great stay overall

Great location near a subway station. Our check-in was at 4 pm but thankfully our room was ready by the time we arrived. Although they didn't serve breakfast we were not expecting it for the price.

Location good, but that's about it. Room on 16th floor very noisy for lift shaft noise. Aircon noise even worse. Tired and dated decor. Good large TV, but phone connectivity never worked.

Excellent location but staff not as friendly as you expect from a Marriott. I would strongly suggest them to improve their customer services

Friendly desk staff but no one asked if we needed baggage help. Nice big clean room. Shower water took long to warm up and then when it did it went cold in a short period of time.

This place is a DUMP. Rooms look like they haven't seen any attention since the 70's. Ice machines are on every other floor . We had our toilet plugged twice once going all over the floor. Their rules and regulations are the worst and most strict I've ever seen. Will never come within 10 feet of their building again .

The hotel was nice. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The bed was great. The revamp of the hotel decorations is nice. The layout of the room was not ideal. The sink is not in the bathroom !!!

Nice place... needs work... ceilings very cracked and in bathroom... very expensive parking per day... but in the heart of Toronto...

Great location a block from the college Subway station. I regularly stay here for work. The rooms are very clean with complimentary WiFi and a reasonably-priced breakfast. My go-to in Toronto

It's OK. Was under renovation when I was there which meant that in my tower there was only one working elevator. Room was fairly standard for a chain.

Went there for a business group meeting and event. The arrangements were great. Food was good. Washrooms were clean and serviced.

My wife and I stayed here during our first visit to Toronto in October 2010. It was one of the most reasonable prices for a 3 night stay. The staff was friendly and the valet service was great (walking me to my car after they parked it so I could get my camera that I left in the back seat). The location is fantastic for a Toronto city visit as it is located only 1 block away from the subway station. During our 3 day visit we never once had to get our car and drive ourselves. Small eateries (chains like McDonald's, Tim Horton's, Starbucks) are all within walking distance for quick breakfast food. The hallways/rooms are a tad dated, but not dirty nor deteriorating. I would highly recommend staying at the Courtyard by Mariott in downtown Toronto...can't beat the price for the location!

One of the best Courtyards we've stayed in. So clean in room, hallways, and common areas. Service is friendly and responsive. Very lively place and inviting lounge. Our group had food service in a.m., very good breakfast. On 5th floor, noise from street and surrounding construction sites. Great location for catching subway and streetcars to go all over town. You can't go wrong!

I found that the parking valet attendants were very pushy and aggressive. I didn't enjoy that especially when you aren't sure about other options for parking and what is included on your reservation (reservation for me was booked by someone else). Not a very welcoming encounter for my first time at this hotel. Very grand appearance of the lobby. King bedroom had lots of space, clean, modern. Internet easy to access. I was placed across the elevators which you could hear pretty often. That also means you can hear a lot of people talking coming in and out of the elevator. Completely understand that comes with the room, however, I didn't enjoy hearing the cleaning staff's morning social conversations at 730am.

Prime location in the heart of downtown and walking distance to almost everything. Easy access via subway or $10 by Uber from Union. Clean room, comfortable beds and friendly service. Free bottle of water in the room and room service during evening hours if you need to stay in and work. Great rates for AAA/CAA Members and Marriott Platinum Elite Members are treated like royalty!

Good location for conferences. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Clean and modern rooms. Only downside is that it can get a little noisy at night with traffic.

It's a nice are to relax and recharge before going out to tour around the city.

There is a taxi stand close to the hotel where you can get service 24/7.

Pleasant stay. Drinks on my friend. Martini vodka, nice bite. Friendly bartender. Then dinner, delicious filet minion, crisp skin, tender inside. Pasta, salad, desert, set table. Very pleasant evening.
