Great hotel with clean, spacious rooms. The bathroom was clean but the tub needed a deeper clean with some slight mildew and rusting. Food at the bistro was consistently delicious and the service was great!

First stay here and I ll go back. Centrally located, modern and full of amenities, the Courtyard offers all that you need to enjoy a weekend in Toronto.

Looking for a morning coffee - check. You can enjoy Starbucks without leaving the hotel. Need to grab a quick bite - check.

Here you are located near the TTC Subway which makes getting around a breeze. If you like to walk, you are within walking distance to the CN Tower, Air Canada Centre and Union Station.

The service was attentive and responsive and reasonably priced.

The courtyard Marriott has made some nice renovations lately significantly improving its bistro and dining areas. Rooms are high quality compared with other hotels in Toronto. Definitely recommend.

The elevators took a long time but I had a good rate and the bed was heavenly. Good location. A bit of mould on the ceiling above the shower but someone had scrubbed it off which is way better than the Marriott in Miami. The breakfast was okay, but they ran out of salsa and the sausages were undercooked which was a bit yucky but bonus points for having a breakfast in the first place. Overall an excellent stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I went with my son for dinner on a Thu 7:30pm. He really wanted a Frosty. I ordered a Dave's Double (Double cheeseburger) and he ordered a Junior Cheeseburger.

The Jr. Cheeseburger was plain but Dave's Double looks nice and it was tasty.

The restaurant was clean. It had one of those self-serve drink machines where you can select from 70 different flavours, unlimited refills.

The staff was nice enough the indulge my son ordering his own Frosty and paying cash from his own money box. He did wonder why it costs $2.29 but he had to pay $2.30 cash.

There is free WiFi and washrooms. There is a TV and an electric fireplace at one end.

Unfortunately when we got home 1 hour after we started eating, my son had a little diarrhea. I had my little diarrhea 4h after eating. It had to be the hamburgers we ate.

I stay at the courtyard for work quite often, it is a great location downtown Toronto. The rooms are nice and large, though some have the sink separate from the bathroom which can cause some awkwardness when sharing the room (i prefer to wash my hands before coming out into the room personally). The view is essentially tall buildings, construction nearby typically wakes me up in the morning.

A very cozy, comfortable, and a nice hotel that is well priced for it's worth. I think it costs a little more now, but when I booked, I was able to book in 70 dollar per night range. Anymore, and it wouldn't be worth. It is much better than doubletree or Sheraton, other prime hotels in the vicinity of downtown area. I recommend people to give this place a try if they can find a good deal for a 70.

Staff is friendly and attentive. It's in a good spot in the city. Rooms are good quality have, lots of space, and the sink is separate from the bathroom in case someone else needs to use it while the bathroom is occupied. The elevators are by far the worse part. These are literally THE SLOWEST elevators I have ever experienced anywhere, not just hotels. Aside from the elevators everything is decent or better

Hotel was usually pretty quiet, rooms were clean, and staff was very friendly. Would.have been 5 stars if the walls were thick enough to keep from hearing tv, music, and loud conversations in the adjacent rooms.

Room was small and felt old. Although signs indicated restaurant was open until 1:00 am, it in fact closed much earlier and only the bar is open. They did acknowledge the error in their signage and room menus. The layout in the rooms is bizarre in that the wash basin is in a room separate from the toilet. Hygiene is a problem. Our room was very noisy with the sounds of the elevators and exterior noises even though on the 7th floor. All night there were loud sleep interrupting sounds every few seconds. Very disappointing especially for the price charged.

Looks a bit shoddy but service is top notch. Complimentary laundry and the location can't be beat since it's a block from the subway while being surrounded by tons of amenities like a random Bulk Barn!

I visited this place for a conference. The conference was in the basement. And I enjoyed it. The hotel catered the breakfast at the conference, and it was cool.

I have something funny to tell you about the Marriott one street north of Carlton off Yonge. If you look at my photo, it is north on Yonge, and take a right at Pizza Pizza.

It is very hard to buy ONE pen in Toronto. A pack, millions, OK. But not one. HOWEVER, you can go to the Starbucks in the Marriott Hotel, and have tea or coffee there, whatever, you like.

The coffee shop is also a bar with a TV, if you like to drink. Anyway, if you ask the cashier, for a pen, that person usually says, sure, you can have a pen. It has the name of the Marriott hotel on it, kind of a product placement. The tea shop is on the ground floor, and is cozy, with various seats, bar stools, sofas, chairs, high and low.

Love the Marriott chain, but this hotel is trying to improve their rooms, but they're doing it as a cover up rather than an actual renovation. Leaving old room window fans and adding a layer of carpet in the elevator, for example, is clear evidence of this.
