I went to Courtesy Chevrolet to trade in my car and I ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THE OUTCOME! I worked with Joseph Alvardo in the specail finance department. He helped me find the perfect "affordable" car for me and my credit! Thank You Courtesy Chevrolet and Joseph Alvarado for being a huge help! If anyone is in the market for cars GO to Courtesy Chevrolet. THEY ARE THE BEST!

Joe Mitchell worked with us to find just the right car. He helped us make a good choice and walked us through the buying decisions and paperwork. Joe is an asset to Courtesy Chevrolet and a great guy for customers to work with. I recommend Joe and Courtesy Chevrolet.
No down payment means bring some$$ for the next 3 weeks. They want my trade, aI can't do that...they were trying to beat this other dealership, but they failed.
They did fix a problem that my car had (damaged mass air flow sensor and corroded throttle body), but, even after being asked multiple times about other problems with the exhaust system, I found a hole in the exhaust a few days after leaving the service station. They definitely fixed the immediate problem, but missed the near problem.
The advisor was on the spot with letting me know how the work was going on my car. The shop did a good clean job. The price was close to independent shops price. My wife and I will continue to use Courtesy Chevrolet to keep our cars and truck running.
My service advisor was Brandon. He kept me informed of everything that was happening every step of the way and answered my questions fully. I would definitely recommend Courtesy and Brandon for all your vehicle needs.
Went in today to buy a advertised $13,000.00 used 2018 Cruze, of course when we got there it had all the extra dealer installed items (joke)! It bumped up the price by a few thousand dollars. I was told by a salesman on the phone prior to driving 50 miles, that the advertised price was the price! Total scam to pull you through the door and upsell! Please contact AZ Attorney General to complain, like I just did as well!
My husband and i purchased a Toyota 86 2017 on 6/9. Three days later after owning the car the abs light and traction control light went on. we took the car back on 6/12 to get it serviced. Chevy was unable to fix the problem and sent it to camelback Toyota to get it serviced. Thankfully Toyota was able to fix this one issues that chevy did not notice when selling the car. Toyota Removed and replaced the steering angle sensor and recalibrated the vehicles traction control and the abs light and traction control light are not off.
On June 29 called Curtesy Chevrolet and they instructed us to take the car back to Camelback Toyota so they can look at the car since we were still having issues with the car pulling to one side at highway speed. During the inspection Camelback Toyota found that the car had excessive feathering on the rear tires. they also found that the left rear lower control arm has an aftermarket SPC CAM BOLT, in which Camelback Toyota adjusted. Curtesy Chevrolet was not aware of the SPC CAM bolt and was not disclosed to us when purchasing the car. Camelback Toyota stated in there invoice that we take the car back to Curtesy Chevrolet for 2 rear tires p235/40z18 and and IRONMAN IMOVE GEN 2 AS & performance alignment. The most upsetting issue that was found while at Camelback Toyota was that the Battery was found not Secured in place. Camelback Toyota noted that "After coming back from Road test, found battery hold down bracket not tightened down. Battery was touching struct brace on right side. J hook in back was missing. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN & POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD." Camelback Toyota replaced J HOOK & secured battery & hold down bracket. When bringing this issue to Curtesy Chevrolet they acted as it was not a big deal. This is very upsetting because if the car would have caught on fire my husband could of lost his life, he constantly drives on the freeway since it is his comute to work. We went in on 7/3 to discuss this issue with management, and they referred us to our salesman Juan Larios who i feel has no responsibility since he is simply the middle man and has been very helpful through the whole process, but unfortunately has to fallow what management says. We spoke to Juans manager on 7/3 who told us not to worry that the issue would be resolved to bring it in on Monday 7/6 since they would be closed for the fourth of July.
We purchased a vehicle from Eric Steffes and it was the best experience we have ever encountered when purchasing a vehicle. We were rather surprised on his knowledge of the 2013 Chevy/Silverado we bought. He have a such a great deal and worked with us until the end of our purchase. He was great and we will be purchasing again from him. This was our 2nd time buying a vehicle form Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix. Smart move and if you want to buy from they I highly reccomend going to him. You are welcome to use my name as a referral Elizabeth Regalado. I would mind a referral bonus myself. =-) We are very, very happy. Oh I cant forget Martha Kieth who handled our paper work. She was awsome and proffesional and had all of the paper work in order and ready for us to sign. -The Regalado's
Michael Mizell might be a new salesman, but sure knew how to take care of his customers. He listened well and bent over backwards to help me find what I was looking for. Even though buying a new vehicle is a very time intensive process, it was time that was pleasantly spent. I appreciated all of the staff that was involved in helping me get the truck that I was looking for. I will recommend Courtesy Chevrolet to my friends, guiding them to Mike.
Mike kildoo was very helpful, informative, and accommodating. I found a 2013 gt500 listed online at courtesy Chevy and living so far away was not able to view the car in person. Mike sent me various pictures, walk around video and sound clip of exhaust, etc. I feel he went above & beyond and given the opportunity would definitely recommend and deal with mike again!
Richard Cross was a great salesman, he never pressured me and made me feel like he was out to get me a great deal on the vette I wanted! Great car and great dealership all the way around. I will be back for service and future purchases.
Came in to courtesy and got greeted by Ernie. Showed us some vehicles in our criteria. My credit is not that great but he was able to get me into a very nice 2014 Chevrolet Sonic. Brooke got us the payment i wanted plus a warranty. Will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family. Thank you Ernie!
Eric Real in the service department was great! We just purchased a CPO vehicle and noticed within a couple days that something was going on with the headlight. When we originally called, there was some confusion about the correct process for getting this fixed, but Eric was great and took care of everything. He was able to tell us how the process worked and the best time to bring the car in and that they would take care of everything.
Even though I was unable to retain my camaro, Art G. helped me into a 2017 Silverado. For which I am ecstatic to be in a truck once more. If it were not for ART G at Courtesy Chevrolet, I would have gone elsewhere. Thanks buddy. Loving the truck. -Carlos P.
Wonderful transaction....my salesman, Anthony Lopenzo, made a fair deal, communicated well, and was very responsive to my needs and questions. When I received my truck, it was in even better condition than shown in the pictures! My truck shipped on time with a carrier arranged by Courtesy, and arrived clean and ready to drive! I would DEFINITELY recommend Courtesy Chevrolet!
Seiann was great. I was a drop in for an oil change and was surprised in the short time I had to wait. Also, while waiting I asked an employee in the show room about how to use the built in cell phone charger on my truck. He dropped what he was doing and took me to his personal vehicle and showed me a trick on using it with a large phone. Great work.
Raynaldo did great working with me to get a good price and was very honest. I love my new truck. Customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this dealership.
We filled out an application online and they never returned any of our phone call or email. We decided to go elsewhere after a week passed and told them we decided not to work with them. Now they will not stop calling and emailing us asking how they can get our business. Do not go there it s bad service, we were set up with Amanda on internet sales and she never reached out to us. STAY AWAY!!!. and run...
Jamie Phillips did everything he could to help me get a car! He was awesome to talk to and and to work with. I ended up getting a great car thanks to all the help at Courtesy Chevy.
Good treatment in this town. Gustavo is a very good salesman, very helpful and has excellent customer service, very attentive and friendly, very happy with his treatment of his customers. Thank you !!
I had an issue it escalated to Jason the GM and he did a great job in going above and beyond to assist me. I would recommend them 100% of the time! Great honest dealership.
After bad experience, after bad experience I'm done with Courtesy Chevrolet. I purchased a 2016 Duramax High Country as well as a $7k extended service warranty from Courtesy in summer of '16. I have required a few service visits and it's been nothing but a huge headache everytime. Today was the last straw. I had a check engine light come on this weekend, as I live 3 hours away from Phoenix, I took my truck and had the codes read, so I know what the issue is. I called Courtesy Chevrolet service department to schedule a repair appt, a "Service Manager" Brian, answered my call. I explained the issue with my truck, to my surprise he said they could get me in tomorrow to diagnose the issue. I AGAIN explained that I knew what the issue was, and didn't need it diagnosed, I needed it repaired and I also informed him I knew it was covered under the warranty. I again explained that I live 3 hours away and would need a loaner vehicle when I bring my truck down. He told me I had to limp my broken truck all the way down just to have it diagnosed. Then would have to limp it 3 hours home, make another appt and limp it down AGAIN to bring it back for repairs. (Which is all warranty work) I told him that due to my distance, that previously the manager has worked with me, gotten me a loaner and allowed me to drop off my truck. Brian then informed me that I "was lying, they never do that". That it "was impossible that ever happened". At that point I was done with Brian, I asked to speak to his manager or boss, he said he was the manager, so I asked to speak to the Service Manager I worked with in the past, apparently he quit. So I asked to speak to the general manager, Brian said no. After spending $80k with this business I would have thought they would try a bit harder to be polite, or at least do their job. I'm done, I will never buy another vehicle from them or return to the service department. Terrible service! NO STARS!
Everyone here was AMAZING! Yesterday I bought my new car and they made the process so easy and straightforward. I did not feel pressured to make a decision and after leaving I did not feel robbed. Lamar was so helpful and stayed with me until I pulled out of the parking lot driving my new car. His customer service blew me away. If you need a car go see Lamar Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
I arrived to trade in my cadillac for a cash for clunkers deal. Prior to heading out I ask how much a honda crv was they said 17000 on the phone and made it seem like I was going to get 4000 of for my trade in after being held there for a hour with no communication claiming that the salesmen was getting his manager he had told us they wanted retail price 24000 for a used crv worth 16500 with 40000 miles on it it is dishonest and sleazy I am never coming back here and hope you avoid it as well
I can't say enough about Angela Coburn, Jack Walker and Courtesy Chevrolet. My car broke down while I was driving from L.A. to Phoenix. After being towed 120 miles, I arrived at the dealership Friday night at 5:30 p.m. (after the technicians had finished their day). I suspected I had a terminal transmission problem. Before 10:00 a.m. Monday, Angela was on the phone to me describing the situation. (Whenever you hear the word "melt" used with regard to your transmission, you know it's not going to be good.) As this problem involved work done at a dealership in L.A., where the car was normally serviced, there were questions about whether this was warranty work, who was going to pay for it, etc. Jack spoke to his G.M. representative and to his counterpart at my dealership in L.A. By Monday at 11:30 a.m., Jack had resolved all the "who's going to do what" details. My car, with its brand new transmission, was ready for me to pick up Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
Angela and Jack did everything they could to help. They explained what was going on, who was talking to whom, what needed to be done, and how long it would take. They were honest and professional. I'm only sorry I don't live near Courtesy Chevrolet. If I did, this would definitely be the dealership I would go to.
Jeremy and the service team did an excellent job changing my engine and fixing my AC and third brake light. The only thing I was greatly upset about was the loaner vehicle I was given that myself or the service person never noticed 2 small dings on the passenger side of the car when I was given the vehicle and the dealership charged me $290 for this. I believe this was completely ridiculous. The dings were half the size of the end of my pinky finger.
Had a great experience! Marcus was my sales associate and he worked with me to get the deal I was looking for. He went above and beyond what I expected. Ask for Marcus when you go to look for a car or truck, he will take care of you for sure. Thanks again Marcus
I scheduled 2011 Corvette for an oil and filter change with Courtesy Chevrolet . When I arrived home after the service I noticed that Courtesy Chevrolet had put 7 quarts into the engine. The required amount per Chevrolet is 6 quarts. The oil dip stick reading was way above the maximum recommended level. I contacted Courtesy and was told to bring the vehicle back the next day. After 35 minutes at the dealership on my return visit I returned home. After an hour of letting the car sit, I checked the level and it was once again way above the recommended level. From my prospective, noting was done to the vehicle. The procedure to remove any level of oil from a hot engine is to say the least dangerous if it is removed via the drain plug which is what the adviser said is the procedure. So once again after a 50+ mile trip to have the situation corrected, nada. In view of the aforementioned, I have an appointment with Lund Cadillac to change the oil and filter. I'm not happy about paying and additional $100.00 but the possible damage to the engine because of the overful is not worth the risk. In addition, Courtesy Chevrolet didn't even offer to pay me back for the extra quart of oil they put into the vehicle. In summary I expect more from a certified dealership in which this is their business. They could have asked me and I would have told them the correct level.
After setting up an appointment for an oil change, I was told I was to have to wait 2 1/2 hours. My understanding of making an appointment was to ensure a spot with reasonable wait time. I would rather pay Jiffy Lube at this point.
From the beginning to the end, the experience of buying a car was amazing. Not once did I feel pressured to buy anything I didn't want nor did I feel like I was being tricked or lied to. When we pulled up, Ryan greeted us in a warm friendly smile. We went over what it was I was looking for and he immediately took me to look at the cars. He listened to me and was very attentive. Russel, our finance manager, was very kind and super efficient. He kept checking in on us to make sure we were ok and to let us know when we would be next. He also got my interest rate and my monthly payments lower than what the bank quoted me! The entire process went smooth and I was there much less than any other dealership I've been to. I left happy and satisfied. I would definitely recommend my friends, family, or anyone looking for a new car to come here and buy from you guys.
Efficient and professional service. Joe Vaisas is the best! Always follows up with you to see how you're doing and gives undivided attention. Definitely recommend him for getting the best deal !
Went in to purchase a leftover 2018 Camaro, which the saleman Manny told me that they did not have any. Ended up purchasing a 2019 Camaro. Manny did a great job.
Shaun H. in Fleet Services went above and beyond expectations in making sure our repair experience was hassle free and awesome! We didn't buy the car there, but he made us feel like this would be the place to when we are ready.
Eric Real was amazing! Did everything in his power to make sure I walked away happy with a bran new car! Really made the whole buying process easy! Thanks again!
Ridiculously long wait for an oil change, I don't know what's the point in making an 8am appointment if I'll be there most of my day leaving close to 1pm. Not going ever again.
My husband and I came here on a whim to look at a used Volt and we were greeted right away by Quincy G. It was his first day, but that didn't stop him from doing a great job :)
Quincy and his mentor were super friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all of our questions and we felt good about the purchase. The whole process only took a few hours and before you know it, I was driving away in my new car!
If you're looking to buy a vehicle, visit Courtesy Chevrolet - you won't be disappointed!
I had a very great experience there at courtesy chevrolet I love my truck and like every service provided by your team. I own a 2015 crew cab Silverado and I thank every one at courtesy chevrolet and Lamar McLaughlin for his assistance and great professionalism
We got a new 2015 Tahoe in May and Courtesy went out of their way to make sure we got the car we wanted and in a timely manner. The process was easy (not lengthy like we have experienced at other dealerships), and the pricing was really fair. Our sales representative Anthony was great. I have had to take in my car twice for regular service and Tim Jackson is our service representative. He is awesome!!! He always gets me in when I need to schedule, is very attentive and informative, and gets me in and out of there - no long wait times. His customer service is such a breath of fresh air. Never tells me I need all this work done or tries to up-sale me on services. He really pays attention to the car. We have purchased several Tahoes over the years (and have had them serviced at other Chevy dealers) - this last year we went to Courtesy and we will never go anywhere else. This dealership is in a class of its own. We are now loyal customers and highly recommend Courtesy for both sales and service.
I came here for an oil change and a tire rotation. Unfortunately when they put my car back together, they forgot to seat the air filter properly. So after I went down the road for about 20 minutes, I noticed my car was not taking off properly and my check engine light was on. I also noticed my air pressure in my tires was offset and not checked properly, so my left side was reading in the mid-40s and my right side was reading in the mid-30s. Also my lug nut lock was not there anymore. I went straight back there and told them what my issues were, (my words were, it's driving like s###). They fixed it within about a half an hour's time, place my lug nut lock back where I had it before, and I was back on the road. I rarely have these kinds of problems when going to the dealership. I'm just glad it wasn't a Sands Chevy dealership. Last time I was at the Sands Chevy dealership, they ripped the hose that went to my air filter. They offered to fix it for $200 which is bs!!! The part is already 50 bucks, but to charge $200 manual labor for a part on the top next to the engine that takes them maybe 5 minutes, is absolutely ridiculous. Sands Chevy will break it for you and rip you off! This happened a few years ago. But I'll never go back there because they suck.
So I'm very glad that Courtesy Chevrolet knows what they're doing and won't rip you off.
Courtesy Chevrolet is in the practice of false advertisement, They clearly spell out the exact truck, exact options even down to the manufacturers name brand and advertise a price for this. They then try to explain that is not what they are advertising. From the looks of the reviews this happens quite frequently. Do not waste your time they do not sell vehicles at their advertised price.
I recently purchased a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette with the assistance of John Dahle. He was professional and patient as we negotiated a fair deal. Follow up customer service has been outstanding! Additional shout out goes to Tim Jackson and Debbie Drager!
We worked with Joe Vassias at Courtesy Chevy. He was extremely helpful the entire time and went the extra mile to make our used vehicle as new as possible. I highly Recommend asking for Joe!
Save yourself the time and go else where. Liars & snakes
On July 2, 2019 my mother in law, Maria, took her 2006 Pontiac G6 to your dealership to have the oil changed. She arrived at the dealership at around 11:30 AM, for a 12:30 appointment to have the oil changed.
She drove her car to the dealership and there was no indication of a check engine light. No OBD codes appeared to be set.
Maria remained at the dealership for nearly 7 hours. At some point she was told the fuel pump in her car needed to be replaced. She was told that the fuel pump had failed and the car would not start due to the complete failure of the fuel pump. The dealership quoted her $1100 to replace the fuel pump, or $950 with a discount.
When Maria refused the dealership off, the car was moved, not sure how when it wasn t supposed to run, and she was told she would have to have the car removed. She called her insurance company and had her car towed.
On the morning of July 3, my girlfriend, my coworker and I replaced the fuel pump. This involved dropping the exhaust system and fuel tank. This task took more than 4 hours. When complete we attempted to start the car. The car would not start and we were unable to hear the fuel pump kick when the car was turned on.
Knowing the fuel pump was brand new we started to trace the electrical system back. We found that two fuses had been removed, ignition module and injectors. Once these fuses were replaced, the car started immediately and ran fine.
We are at a loss to explain why the dealership removed these fuses, nor why they did not disclose this to us. There has been no OBD codes stored indicating low fuel pressure so we don t understand the complete failure of the fuel pump, after the car was turned over for an oil change. It is also questionable how once the fuel pump had a complete and catastrophic failure, and service had been refused the car was moved out of the service bay. The dealership was able to move the car.
We believe the dealership has acted in bad faith to book unneeded repair work. While we do not doubt the book rate for replacing he fuel pump may be $900- $1100, it took us less than 4 hours to complete this repair, in our garage, with no prior knowledge of the task nor special tools. A lift or pit would have made a huge difference in the duration of this task.
We do not believe the fuel pump was bad, when voltage was applied by inserting a fuse, the fuel pump worked. There has been no fuel-related from the OBD. We don t understand the removed fuse from the circuit, but with the fuse
removed, we do understand why Maria was not able to start her car once she refused the dealership s work. We bought our own fuel pump for $267.00, which Maria could not afford to throw this money away, replacing an operational fuel pump.
7 hours at the dealership was excessive and callous. Two hours would be outlandish, but expected. Consider that the other 5 hours were just bad business and negligent service . Maria SHOULD be compensated for the other 5 hours at $20 per hour.
$100 for WASTED TIME.
In addition to these costs, there were 3 of us working to replace the fuel pump: my girlfriend, my workmate and me. We believe that the subsequent testing of the fuel pump indicates it was not failed. We were WASTING OUR TIME, replacing a fuel pump that wasn t failed, it was just not powered. The fuse was in the car when she arrived at the dealership as we can agree the car was driven onto the lot. This represents 3 people, 4 hours, or 12 person-hours total. While we expect the dealership labor cost would be $150 an hour, our skills demand less. We do believe $25 an hour is reasonable.
$300 labor
We did have another mechanic lined up that would have completed the job for $450. I don t believe we are unreasonable with listed expenses.
As Maria s insurance is new, we are uncertain whether they will charge a deductible. We do know the towing represented a claim. To be fair this expense should also be added..
We question whether someone with a better command of the language may have been treated better.
Joe Vassias was very helpful. He went above and beyond my expectations. If you want some one on your side, he is the one you would want. Courtesy Chevrolet is lucky to have him. Thank you for everything Joe.
My husband and I recently purchased our 2012 Dodge Charger from Courtesy Chevrolet and we could not be happier. My salesman was Eric Real and he was excellent! He was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The experience was great...I went in knowing what I wanted and Eric helped me to keep my options open. I saw the vehicle in the back lot, Eric went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was clean and ready to take home. Which lead me to purchasing a totally different vehicle which was nicer and all around better deal. I would definitely recommend when you are looking for a car that you go here and you request to work with Eric. I was in and out and his service was amazing!
Larry S., the employee that helped me out, was quick and efficient with getting my car in and out of there. I always go to this location for my oil changes and it's always a quick and easy thing to do.
Saw a 2013 Traverse on their website (AZ Courtesy, I'm sure). Sent an email through website and got booked to check it out the same day. Got there, met the sales guy and found out that the car was in.......... SAN DIEGO!! So, first problem: he made me go there knowing car was only about 350 miles away. Then he said "I got a 2014 here and would be wiling to go down on that one to match the other 2013". After many looong minutes I found out that that was again not true. That happens in a deal. Our numbers didn't match. No big issues there But, through the process, the manager told me I would never get a deal in the terms I offered. Mainly because he could buy a car similar to my trade at an auction for $3,000 less than I thought was fair. Again, not a pleasant situation. Then, just about a 3 weeks ago, I got the same 2013 Traverse from Van Chevrolet in the numbers that one said was impossible...
Tim Jackson has been my Service Manager since I purchased my 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe new (over 7 years ago) from Courtesy Chevrolet. He's always been helpful, prompt to reply to my requests, and a delight to deal with. The service completed on my Tahoe has always been completed in the time estimated and they have kept it running and looking like a new vehicle. When I decide to buy a new Chevrolet in the future, Courtesy Chevrolet will be my dealer for sales and service! Great job Courtesy!
Quick to take your money slow to fix the problems. Took it back two more time for the same issue. Never fixed it. They found something else wrong, not what they worked on.
He made the process simple and fast, we came in looking for a new car and left with a new chevy cruze. He made us feel like we were dealing with a friend and we will definitely come back looking for him.
