Went to see Snow White, and twas an amazing performance, I strongly recommend, the crowed from cork are amazing, and they made the story very contemporary, lovely pinch of to-date pieces of music. Very interactive with the audience. Worth watching it indeed. The kids loved it

Without question the best venue in cork(maybe even Ireland!) to see see a concert/show etc. Sound is always spectacular and no matter if your seated or standing you always have a good view. Been here a lot the last few year, always a great experience. :)

Albert Hammond was just superb at Cork Opera House tonight, playing non-stop for over two solid hours! Great to see such a huge song-writer/musician in Cork and playing wonderful old and not-so-old favourites! His mother having died a few days ago had insisted that the show must go on... Albert, you did her proud!

Tried to book for Don Giovanni in Cork. This must be the world's worst e-commerce web site! No way to conclude my purchase of tickets. I think I'll buy a nice CD instead. Bad luck, Cork Opera.

One of Cork's main theatres that can take a decent audience. The theatre sometimes gets big one night performances that book out well in advance so keep an eye on whats on to avoid missing out. The only annoying thing is there's no centre aisle anymore, so getting to the middle of the row can be very annoying and inconvenient.

We went to the moscow ballet here, ballet was amazing but we were quite disappointed in the opera house itself. For some reason I expected it to be more glamerous and ornate of which it was neither so quite disappointing

Girl with torch to assist with seating was too young and useless at her job. People in the row in front of us arrived late. Show was on and she didn't help the suitation. She just stood there. I would be better if I stood up myself and took care of things

Great production of Wizard of Oz, excellent cast. However, the seating is very uncomfortable & I can't understand why plastic bags aren't banned from a venue with live performers- the noise level was appalling & this must be insulting to the great actors on the stage as well as being a distraction. This was the noisiest live production I've ever been to. Why do people have to eat constantly? Surely they can eat beforehand?
Otherwise, Opera House is a great venue to gave in our city centre & is very well run by all involved.

I had an ulterior motive for wanting to go because I had long loved Mary Black and also we were going to Kinsale for the weekend. Nonetheless, the venue was very, very nice. It reminded me of the Barbican in London, in that it's very spacious inside, the design was lovely with very pale wood and curving in such a way that it felt very spacious. The seats were slightly tight but nothing to write home about and, hey, it's a theatre. Inside nice, staff very good. As a venue, it was lovely, I would readily return. Recommended.

We had a fab night at the panto. Very busy but we'll staffed and organized. My only gripe was the cost of refreshments. I paid nearly 7 euro for 2 rather small tubs of ice cream and a small bottle of water. Just as well I wasn't feeling very hungry
