You fancy huh!? Nice place, I even checked out the theater.
We went to try the palette cocktails ... very fun and tasty but not worth going more than once. The rooftop is very small and although it is a nice view, there are better one other bars.
Gorgeous hotel with a great view of the city. It is expensive but about the same as any hotel that puts you right in the middle of Manhattan. In the suite I stayed in, the bathroom and the shower were separate and the doors on them were very thin and had no latch which I didn't like. Across from the bathroom and shower was the bar and you could close off the bathroom/shower/bar area with sliding doors on either side but then that cut off the living room area from the bedroom area. This was especially difficult since I was sharing the hotel room with my parents and two siblings. Basically, if you were using the bathroom or the shower and didn't shut the slidind doors, everyone could hear everything. Also, the room came with a fully stocked mini fridge (alcohol, candy, etc.) That would have been nice except everything was insanely expensive and it meant we couldn't use the fridge to store our own groceries. Other than that, the room was very cool. There was a TV in the bedroom area and one in the living room. The living room also had a pull out couch, a cushy chair and a desk with a desk chair. There were two fancy robes in the closet, glasses and cups above the bar and all of the lights were controlled by futuristic, touch-activated panels on the wall. The room also had a doorbell. Overall, a positive experience.
Good experience, low pricing was helpful on my budget. The rooms however are somewhat under-furnished and lack that modern feel you would expect.
Very good staff clean rooms extremely good breakfast
Went for a conference. The large conference room fulfilled all our needs
Great hotel, nice spacious rooms and great service.
Hotel is expansive and full of gigantic art. Rooms are huge! Great service. Only downside: no pool
Beautiful view and beautiful place then entire place it's just a marvel. It doesn't just feel like a hotel feels like a warm room in your own home. Great food surrounding the hotel and the art is beautiful. The bills are great reads as well
For me best hotel in NYC........................................................................ ........................................................................ .. ............................................................ .................................................................. ......... .............................
The theatre is very nice; you might fall asleep in the recliners
Great experience as usual. Everything was perfect, no complaints needed here.
We met friends in the lobby and had drinks at the bar. No complaints.
Money was stolen from my wallet. Stayed here last weekend as my sister surprised me with a suite for graduating college and to spend time with me. I brought $417 as I counted on my way to the hotel and on my last night stay, I went to go put the other cash back into my original wallet and $210 was stolen from me. I have also read a review about theft at this hotel before so I wouldn t doubt it was housekeeping. When I got in touch with security, they basically said there s nothing they can do and that they have no proof and blamed it on the fact that my door was propped open (while I was in the room) and that anyone could ve popped their head in the room and took my money out of my wallet. I never thought that at a 5-star hotel I would have money stolen from me, but I did!!! And I know exactly what bills were taken from me because I had a $100, 2 $50 s, some 20s, etc. They stole the $100 bill, one $50 bill and three $20 bills. I will never be staying here again and I know for a fact that it was someone who has committed theft before. Why would they only take some money and not all of it???? The lady at the front desk told me it was a serious accusation when I told her that money was stolen from my wallet and I said of course it is. She didn t believe me and said the housekeeping ladies have been working here for years. So that means that they would never commit a theft crime?? I am sorry but the whole situation was handled unprofessional and now I know to not trust a soul and always put my money in a safe or have it with me so it doesn t get stolen!!!! I am sooo disappointed and it ruined my whole weekend that was planned for me.
Accommodations were nice for the conference and they promptly refilled snacks and beverages throughout the day. Very curtious staff all around.
Loopy Doopy rooftop bar was fun with great views, fun drinks.
Went to the lobby bar for some quick drinks while waiting for a movie to start. Ordered some amazing wine. Service was great.
Beautiful, clean rooms. Lobby and building were very well kept. Clean, comfortable King bed. Nice living room with a comfortable couch, Nespresso machine, and unbelievable rain shower head. No tub in the bathroom but exceptional large walk in shower. Would highly recommend!
Came in on a red eye from Las Vegas. Front desk was very friendly and got us into our room for a power nap by 11 am. The room is a beautiful suite with an espresso maker. Got the housekeeper to bring extra pods of the bold. Perfection. We have a nice view of the Hudson River. Bfast is taken care of every morning with vouchers due to my gold Hilton status. Plus free wi-fi. I love this place. Plus it is very close to where Beezy lives so we get to see her and her brilliant dog, Lila.
Beautiful property. Great location. Large rooms. Fun rooftop bar.
This was the first time that I stayed in a downtown location and I did not regret it. I checked in online and was able to use the digital key which was a great feature. The rooms are all suites and I had a lovely view of the Hudson bay. Diamond members get free breakfasts where you pick one item from the menu or else on weekends you can get access to the buffet.
Loved the Conrad!
The Good:
The price was Decent, when it comes to New York Hotels its hard to find a Cheap/Affordable/price friendly hotel. This one was well worth the price, the entry way was absolutly beautiful the architecture the colors the designs-----> fabulous. The Rooms Amazing, I had the fortune of rooming with my brother who on his free time in the hotel loves to watch the Big Bang Theory, I do not, so I discovered the bedroom and living area can be seperated by a moving wall! I spent most of my time in this hotel discovering other things about it.
Throughout my investigation I heard occasional booms whilst in the main entry way, I assumed it was thundering however on closer inspection I found that the building the hotel occupies also holds a Movie Theater, the loud rumbles I heard must have been that. So I sat through my fourth viewing of Wreck It Ralph!
I also had the chance to sit in their business center where I made myself at home and got a ton of work done, I also saw that you can bring your dogs, as long as they met the weight requirement. Over all this was one of my favorite hotels that i have been too.
Beautiful hotel, with fantastic style and decor. The bed is soft and comfy, there is tons of closet space, and the shower is super spacious. We stayed in a deluxe with a king bed, and it was very roomy for NYC. The staff are super attentive. I had some items delivered to the hotel and it was waiting for me in the room. They also filled the ice bucket with ice, and had dog bowls and a dog bed waiting for my furry babies. I've stayed in many hotels in NYC, and this one is the best by far. Two negatives: there were some stains on the carpet, and the hotel is in lower Manhattan, which is kind of far from everything, but who cares--everything is a quick train or cab ride away.Nice
Nicest hotel I ve stayed (in NYC for business or pleasure) because of its location I actually slept which is a hard concept in NYC (you constantly hear sirens). This location is so nice because it s in a quiet neighborhood and yet it s close to attractions and food. Really enjoyed the room and the amenities, the bed , room layout (all are suites). Highly recommend!
The hotel room suite we had on the 5th floor had a slightly obstructed view of the Hudson, which was a bit disappointing. But the room was comfortable and the shower was decadent in the amount of water flowing from an overhead rainshower fixture. The bed was very comfortable but was a bit lower than I'm used to. Some may have trouble getting out if it. On the minus side, the carpet could have been cleaner though. And the refrigerator is only for the Conrad's items for sale - unless you pay an extra $35 if you want to put anything in it. The lobby was visually appealing and the concierge service was helpful. At the time we visited, the rooftop lounge was closed unfortunately. Overall, though, I wouldn't mind staying here again.
Lobby +1. Too pricey for the amenities. Nothing special compared to other Conrad Hotels (ref Conrad Dubai/HK).
I loved the calamari and drinks we came after the movie
From our greeting at the door by Morris, to our comfy rooms, the amazing showers, attentive staff, we love the Conrad!
This was a great hotel - although not the highest, the location is superb. We stayed on the top floor (15th) and had a phenomenal view of the River. Walking distance to the WTC and other great downtown expeditions.
My wife and I truly loved the Conrad and planning to stay next at the one in Miami and Maldives for our upcoming trips!
P.S. - The rainfall shower in the room was my favorite.
Great views and really amazing drinks. Popsicles and mixed drinks is very unique
Highly recommend the Conrad Downtown, cool atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and lots of wonderful entertainment within walking distance.
Great Service. Very clean. Very Comfortable. Recommend.
The lobby is really cool... especially when it s dark outside.
A M A Z I N G .. This hotel is worth every cent I promise you you ll never regret coming here. The rooms are lovely, the lobby is great and I think they have a rooftop party area if you re about that life.
Stayed in room 1405. No view but huge room and nice amenities and breakfast. Comfy bed. Hotel lobby is grand
Perhaps the best hotel experience possible in downtown. Beautiful rooms and a very friendly and attentive staff.
My wife and I attended the Tribeca Film Festival at the Conrad. What beautiful place. Theres a Cinema with 2 level and reclining seats. We also visited the bar in the lobby which was just as beautiful. Wait staff was wonderful and very courteous.
Good: nice location and staffs
Bad: no bath tub, no conrad doll:(
Though I didn't stay at the hotel, my experience is that pretty much everything at the hotel is top notch. Nice design and decor. Excellent service. Very pleasant and clean. The hotel is actually owned by Goldman Sachs, whose HQ is right behind the hotel, so in that respect you wouldn't expect anything less. It's actually a decent location if you want to do things downtown as it's near the Westfield mall, Oculus, 9/11 memorial among other things. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it.
I love this hotel. It's modern, clean and roomy with having basic rooms as suites.
Really nice time, friendly staff, everything has been great.
Great hotel and location, extremely grand lobby downstairs bar had good cocktails and the rooms are spacious.
This is bar none my favorite hotel in NYC. I ve stayed several times now and I am just in love with the rooms and the building architecture. Which is probably why I m so bias. Service is great and I m treated like a king. But the rooms... ahhhh Heaven. Love the layout. Huge shower. Separate toilet/sink room arrangement. Clever desk and lounge layout, and the beds are so comfortable I could take them home. And talk about silence!! I hear nothing! Which means I get to be in my room in peace and quiet, and sleep like a baby. Overall, the quality from start to finish is over the top, including breakfast in their restaurant. Just a really great, luxurious, professional experience as a business traveler.
This is the perfect marriage between technology and luxury. I stayed there right after they celebrated their first year and I couldn't believe how spacious the rooms were.
They also had this amazing app when I could order room service so I'm not embarrassed that I'm craving chicken wings at 3 am and have to call and talk to someone. Forgot your toothbrush? There's an app for that!
Don't forget to ask for Shanghai Tang toiletries.
Location is a bit out of most tourist spots but since it's downtown, it's ideal for business travelers and those who don't want to be in the heart of the city with thousands of other people taking over your personal space.
Very attentive, accommodated very well beautiful views of the city
It's
A bid barren but good modern hotel
I have no idea what the room rate was as I was staying with a friend, but the quality of everything was excellent. The light switches, air conditioning, shower, everything was great quality. Bed sheets were nice and smooth and didn't feel like they've been washed a thousand times with the cheapest detergent in existence (like most hotels). Nice slippers and robe were included plus a Nespresso machine, iron and mini fridge all in the room.
Everything in this place is five stars, the restaurant, the staff, the beds, the gym, I want to come back.
Best hotel in NYC. Rooms are large and staff is very friendly and professional
Never stayed there but nice lobby and has a movie theater in there as well
If you are staying at this hotel for business in the financial district or pleasure you will not be disappointed. The staff at this property is amazing. From the bellman, to the front desk personal, to housekeeping are simply amazing. This hotel as a very modern luxurious feel. The rooms are basically all suites, with huge restrooms, and spacious rooms. I particularly enjoyed this location because I was in New York for vacation and it was away from the chaos of time square. All major tourist destinations where a few minute ride uptown on the subway system. This hotel was situated very near the new WTC museum and tower. The price was very reasonable for this type of property and services offered. I travel often for work and I have stayed in 100s of hotels and the one thing that seems to always stand out regardless of the amenities or beauty of the property is the staffs ability to handle a problem or situation outside the norm. I experienced a major problem when I arrived at this property while the problem was occurring I was very frustrated and embarrassed with my guests however one staff member in particular managed to calm my nerves and work with me to address the problem, the front desk director. To give a summary of what occurred I had booked this trip, never again, through Expedia. I pre-paid my flight and hotel when I normally purchase them directly through the companies. I arrived at the hotel after a long day of flying from Houston Texas to discover that the hotel did not have my reservation. It was very frustrating because as I stated I had prepaid. The original front desk agent did not know what to do she was Scrambling around on the computer trying to figure out what was going on she passed me off to the edge of the counter and said for me to call Expedia which at this point is understandable. After almost 45 minutes on hold I was finally able to speak to someone who stated to me that they would resolve the issue. This time the front desk director approaches me and notices my frustration and asks is everything OK I explain the situation to her and she said that she would personally solve the issue. Needless to say after almost 3 hours of waiting she contacted Expedia for me after many faxes and phone calls where exchanged between her and Expedia; she was able to get them to send them the money. She placed me and my guess in a very nice upgraded room. She was even sweet enough to give me and my party 6 breakfast vouchers with a $20 value each to use on the property's Resturant which is usually reserved for Hilton Honor members gold and diamond level. I am a honors member but on this particular occasion was staying through a third-party which do it disqualifies you from on your member benefits. Not only did she issue free breakfast vouchers but she converted my reservation to a Hilton honors reservation with my diamond member number which allowed me to receive points for this stay. This is what I call outstanding service. You see that your guest is troubled and you understand that they are here on either business or pleasure; you work through the issue with them; rectify it and if it is any fault to the on-site property make amends for it. The breakfast vouchers and the Hilton honor points and an upgrade to a better room is definitely compensation.
Great hotel in downtown, better than most midtown ones. A bit expensive though
Great rooms, perfect for families. Good value in Battery Park.
Wonderful views and central location to all New York has to offer. Intelligent concierge and great breakfast!!!
The rooftop bar is cute. Drinks are expensive. Nice view.
The Conrad is a beautiful, modern hotel in Battery Park convenient to the World Trade Center. Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed.
The Conrad NYC is very nice. I was able to check-in using my phone and use my phone as the room key. Very convenient! The room was nice and had a view of the Hudson. I would stay here again.
